Part 80-The Nurses Ball continues.

Scene 1-Ned and Nicole go to the Quartermaine table. Edward, Lila,

Monica, Alan, A.J., Emily, and Lucky are there.

Ned: Emily, Lucky; this is Nicole Winters. Nicole; this is my cousin

Emily, and her boyfriend, Lucky Spencer.

Emily: Hi Nicole.

Lucky: Hello Nicole.

Nicole: (Staring at Lucky.) Hi.

Ned: And the rest of my family; my grandmother, Lila Quartermaine;

grandfather, Edward; uncle Alan; and aunt Monica.

Nicole: Nice to meet you all.

A.J. clears his throat.

Ned: Oh, and my other cousin, A.J.

A.J.: Nice to meet you.

Nicole: (Smiling.) Nice to meet you, too.

Emily: Well, I have to get ready.

Scene 2-Joe, Karen, and Robin are in the hall. Jason comes out to Robin.

Jason: Hello.

K: Oh my gosh, Jason. Um, you probably don't remember me. Hi, I'm...

Jason: Karen. Robin told me. Nice to meet you.

Jason and Karen shake hands.

Joe: Karen, maybe we should go back and sit down.

K: Yeah, you're probably right.

R: Why don't the two of you sit at our table, so me and Karen can catch

up.

K: Sonny's table?

Jaason: Yeah.

R: Ok, are there two extra seats at your table?

Joe: I'm sure by now that Eve's cleared the table.

Scene 3-Katherine is in a hall, watching Lucy.

K: Perfect.

Scene 4-Lucy's in her dressing room. In another ball gown, ready to go.

L: Ok, this time Ms. Kathy Bell isn't going to fool me.

Scene 5-Tom's voice booms out to the crowd at the ball.

T: And now for everyone's favorite part of the ball, the Nurses Ball

chorus line.

The chorus line: Carly, Dara, Emily, Gina, Audrey, and five other women.

They come out singing "One Singular Sensation." Towards the end, Lucy

comes out and trips over a cord, she goes sliding into A.J.'s lap.

Everyone's laughing. There's a standing ovation. Lucy's lying in A.J.'s

lap.

A.J.: Well, hello, Lucy.

Katherine: (Backstage.) Not too shabby. At least, Lucy could look at it

this way, she didn't lose her dress this time.

Part 81

Scene 1-The next day, Luke, Laura, and Lu are in the Spencer living

room.

Luke: Whatever Stefan is up to Katherine Bell is in on it.

Laura: What makes you think that?

Luke: Something about the way they were last night.

Lucky comes downstairs.

Laura: Lucky.

Luke: Morning cowboy.

Lucky: Buenos dias mi familia.

Luke: So, what do you have planned for today?

Lucky: Ah, today...

Scene 2-Sonny and Brenda are in bed at Sonny's.

B: So, what are we going to do today?

S: Um, I believe there's a picnic and a fireworks display we were

planning on going to.

B: Actually, I was thinking about my sister. I think I really should be

there.

S: Ok, we'll go visit her this morning. But like the doc said, it might

be awhile before she wakes up. If she does, the doc will call us.

B: Ok, ok. Happy fourth of July.

They kiss.

Scene 3-Steve comes downstairs to Kelly's for breakfast. Gina's talking

to Nikolas, who is sitting at the counter.

S: Well, hello, gorgeous.

G: Morning Steve.

Nikolas stares at him.

S: You looked beautiful at the ball last night.

N: Excuse me.

S: Yes?

Scene 4-Tom's reading some charts at the nurses station, when Alexis

comes along.

A: Hi dance partner.

T: Hello. What're you doing here so early?

A: Meeting with Stefan.

T: Ah, well, today's Independence Day and there's a picnic and fireworks

display and I thought maybe you and I could go to it together.

A: Ah, the 4th of July, my favorite American holiday. I'd love to.

T: Ok, then I'll see you later.

Alexis leaves, Tom stares at her, as she walks away.

Scene 5-Mac is stocking the bar at The Outback, when Felicia comes in.

M: What are you doing here?

F: I came to stock the bar.

M: It's my turn to stock it.

F: I could've sworn it was my turn.

M: Nope, but since you're here, do you have any plans for tonight?

Scene 6-At the Spencers; Luke, Laura, Lu, and Lucky are there.

Lucky: Today, being Independence Day and all, I'm going to go get Sly

and we're gonna go fishing. Then, we're going to go pick Emily up and go

to the big picnic thing. Then, maybe shoot some fireworks or something.

Luke: Sounds cool.

Laura: Just be careful with the fireworks.

Lucky: Mom, don't worry, I'm always careful.

Scene 7-Sonny and Brenda are at GH and walk into Julia's room. The bed's

empty.

B: Where is she?

S: Maybe they had to run some tests or something, don't panic.

Brenda runs to the nurses station, where Amy is.

A: Hello Brenda.

B: Um, Amy, where the HELL is my sister?

A: Don't panic. Dr. Winters is running some tests on her.

Sonny strolls up.

S: Like I said.

B: What kind of tests?

A: I'm not sure, but I'm sure she'll be back in a little while. After

Dr. Winters completes the tests I can have her explain everything to

you. Ok?

B: Um, yeah, ok. We'll be in the cafeteria.

A: Ok, as soon as I see Dr. Winters I'll tell her you were here.

Sonny and Brenda walk off. Audrey comes to Amy.

Audrey: Was that Brenda? Dr. Winters wants to discuss something with her

about her sister.

Scene 8-At Kelly's; Nikolas, Gina, and Steve are there.

N: I don't think you should be talking to my girlfriend that way.

S: So, you're the lucky man that my cousin was telling me about?

N: Yes. Who's your cousin?

S: Lucky Spencer.

N: Really? And your name is?

S: Steve Webber.

N: A relative of Rick and Lesley?

S: Yes, Rick's my uncle.

N: Hello cousin.

S: What?

Gina laughs.

Scene 9-Alexis and Stefan are having a meeting in Stefan's office.

S: Alexis, tell me why you called this meeting?

A: To tell you that I don't like the road this family is headed for.

S: What do you mean?

A: First, lying to a child about who their father is. Not only that, but

keeping the truth from ME of all people. I thought we could trust each

other. I'm a part of this family, even if I wasn't handed the Cassadine

name. Right now, I'm glad I wasn't. Second, what you're planning to do

to this hospital and the people of Port Charles. These people have done

nothing to you, but respect you.

S: Alexis, you have let your emotions give way to the purpose of this

plan.

A: Don't tell me about emotions. You and Katherine Bell, although there

was no appearance of anything going on between you, no more than a

business relationship, that is, there has been.

S: Really, Alexis.

A: To continue with the list. Third, the plan with Pierce Dorman. I

can't believe you set that up.

S: How did you find out?

A: I just found out he was a Cassadine. I didn't even know the

SLEEZEBALL was a part of my family. Then, your plan with Marcus, to do

God knows what. I thought I knew you, but selling drugs to kids, selling

drugs to kids like Emily Quartermaine, for Gods' sake! Nikolas, who

you'd taken in as one of your own, was and is friends with the girl. I

can't believe you'd use a child, actually two children, to get back at

Luke Spencer. And for what reason? Because you feel he's responsible for

Stavros' death. At this point, I'm not so sure about that. I've always

felt Helena could be so horribly cruel and heartless, after what she did

to Marlena, but you, I loved you, like a brother, not just my cousin,

but now I want nothing to do with you or your plan.

S: Alexis, that set up with Pierce and Monica Quartermaine was not my

idea. That all started before we ever came here. As for the drugs, I had

nothing to do with that. You must believe me.

A: I'm sorry, but too much has happened for me to want to be part of

this family.

S: Ok. Give me your keys to Wyndemere and your medallion.

A: Gladly.

Alexis pulls out her keys and gives them to Stefan. She takes off her

medallion and hands it to him, slowly.

S: You are positive about this, because I can't protect you from what's

going to happen or from Helena if you leave this family. And, any

secrets you may have had will surely get out.

A: I don't care. I don't want to be a part of this.

S: Then I expect your resignation from the hospital counsel.

Scene 10-Tom and Carly are in Tom's office.

T: You'd like your former position as PT back?

C: Yes, if it is possible.

T: Sure, we have no other applicants. But, right now, we can't have you

come back, until your trial is finished. You do understand?

C: Sure.

T: Have you been given a trial date?

C: No, but Justus keeps telling me that it should be soon.

Part 82

Scene 1-Mac and Felicia are at The Outback.

F: I don't have any plans for tonight, since the girls are in Texas.

M: Good, then we'll go the fireworks display.

F: I'd love to.

M: You know I love fireworks.

F: (Looking deep into his eyes.) Me, too.

Scene 2-Jason and Robin are at the Wellness Center.

R: Thanks for dropping me off.

J: No problem. We are on for the fireworks display tonight, right?

R: Of course. What're you doing today?

J: I thought I'd go see how Brenda's sister is. I'm sure, she and Sonny

are around here somewhere. Then, I have an errand to run.

R: Tell Brenda that everything's going to be ok. I love you, Jason.

J: I love you, too. Bye.

R: Bye.

Jason's walking to the elevator, when he bumps into Carly.

C: Jason.

J: Hello.

C: Hey, that was some act you were in last night.

J: Yeah, you too. What are you doing here?

C: Talking to Dr. Hardy about a job.

J: Did you get it?

C: Yeah, but I can't start until all this trial stuff is over.

J: You think Justus will be able to get you out on probation?

C: He's talked to Dara Jenson and there's a pretty good chance.

Scene 3-Rick and Lesley are at the penthouse.

R: Oh, geez, I'm late for an appointment at the hospital. I've got to

go.

L: Ok, um, just one thing. What do you think about July tenth?

R: What about it?

L: For our wedding.

R: I think it'd be great. The sooner, the better.

Rick kisses Lesley.

L: My thoughts precisely. I'll see you later.

R: Yes. I love you.

L: I love you, too.

Rick leaves. Lesley gets on the phone.

Scene 4-Kevin and Lucy are in bed. Kevin's staring at a sleeping Lucy.

Lucy wakes suddenly and looks at the clock.

L: Eleven A.M.! DOC! Why didn't you wake me up?

K: I thought you needed your rest. Plus, you just look so beautiful

sleeping.

L: And I don't look beautiful awake?

K: You know what I mean.

L: I have to get to work. Don't you?

K: Actually, I'm really considering re-thinking my job status.

L: And why is that?

K: Alexis Davis.

L: What about her?

Scene 5-Brenda, Sonny, and Jason are in the GH cafeteria. Angela walks

in.

A: Oh, good, I found you.

B: What is it?

A: We took your sister for some tests and we had some involuntary

reaction.

J: That's good.

B: It is?

A: Yes, it looks like she's going to make it. And, with the response we

got from her during these tests, I have every reason to believe that she

will make a full and complete recovery.

S: That's the best news we've heard in awhile.

B: Yes, it is!

J: I'm going to go tell Robin.

B: Um, hey Jason, could you also get a hold of Lois and tell her.

J: Sure.

B: Thanks.

A: Well, I have another patient to check on.

B: Thank you, doctor.

S: Yes, thanks.

A: You're welcome. This is the best part of my job. I'll see you later.

B: Bye. (Angela leaves.) Oh, this is great!

Brenda hugs Sonny.

Scene 6-Scott, Serena, and Karen are at the Port Charles Grill.

Scott: So, how are things?

K: Pretty good. I love being back here.

Scott: But?

K: I miss Jagger.

Serena: Jagger?

K: My husband.

Se: Wow! I'm seven years old and I have a sister who's married.

K: Pretty incredible, eh?

Serena: Yeah.

Scott: Well, why doesn't Jagger come here?

K: He's dedicated to his police work.

Scott: Well, I'm sure Mac would gladly put Jagger on the force here.

K: You know, I keep telling Jagger that, but he feels that he needs to

stay where he is. I don't know why. And, I have this fear that

everything is going to fall apart.

Scott: He could at least come for a visit, so he could meet his

father-in-law and his sister-in-law.

K: I've been begging him to, but he keeps saying no.

Scott: Maybe I should have a talk with him.

Scene 7-Laura, Luke, and Lesley are at the Spencer home.

Laura: Mother, you really don't have to call before you come over.

Luke: Actually, it's probably a good idea. I mean sweetie, you wouldn't

want your mother walking in on us while we were uh...

Laura: (Punching Luke on the shoulder.) Luke!

Lesley: Luke, I always loved your sense of humor. Anyhow, this is about

the wedding.

Laura: You've decided on the date?

Lesley: July tenth. And, I want BOTH of my grandsons to be there.

Luke and Laura look at each other.

Scene 8-Kevin and Lucy are in bed.

K: Alexis called me this morning, while you were still asleep. She said

she was resigning from her position at Cassadine Industries, as well as

the hospital.

L: What does that have to do with you?

K: You know all the stories Luke has told about the Cassadines. Now,

with Stefan's own cousin resigning from a position in her own family's

company, I'm beginning to think Luke is right about Stefan.

L: So you're just not going to show up for work?

K: Actually, I thought I'd wait for it to settle in that Alexis has

abandon him, and then I'd tell him.

L: Oh, well, you know what, I HAVE to get dressed.

K: Really?

Kevin looking hopeful.

Scene 9-Scott, Karen, and Serena are at the Port Charles Grill.

K: Um, maybe.

Serena: Karen, are you going to see the fireworks tonight?

K: Actually, I can't, I have to work. But you and Scott...

Serena: Why don't you call him dad?

K: Um, but you and Scott should go, I know you'll love it.

Scott: We'll go. So, you have to work the night shift?

K: Yep, me and Joe.

Scott: Ah, Joe. Joe Scanlon?

K: Yeah.

Serena: Is that the guy who was sitting at your table last night?

K: Sure was.

Scene 10-Rick walks into Monica's office.

R: What's this meeting about?

M: Florida.

Part 83

Scene 1-Rick and Monica are in Monica's office.

R: What about Florida?

M: The conference is sending out information to all those who have

attended the cardiologist conventions in Florida.

R: Ah, and you're worried Alan will find out we've seen each other

almost every year for the last 13 years without him noticing.

M: Exactly.

R: Ok, I can play dumb.

M: Good.

R: I guess while I'm here I should tell you the good news.

M: What's that?

R: Lesley and I have set a date.

Scene 2-Stefan and Katherine meet in Stefan's office.

K: Is this about the plan?

S: Yes.

K: May I ask where Alexis is?

S: She has removed herself from this family.

K: What?

S: She doesn't want a part in this.

Scene 3-Lucky and Sly are walking along a woodsy area with fishing rods.

S: Lucky, what was that all about the other night?

L: What?

S: You said you felt like you'd been kicked in the gut.

L: I'd tell you if I could, but I can't. I think it's going to be

alright, though.

S: Did it have to do with Emily?

L: No, man, you're not going to get it out of me.

S: Your brother. (There's silence.) That's it.

L: I didn't say that.

S: Exactly.

Scene 4-Lois and Ned are at the gatehouse with Brooke, having an indoor

picnic lunch. There's a knock at the door.

L: I'll get it. (Opens the door.) Jason.

Jason: Hi. (Looks at Ned and Brooke on the floor and the blanket spread

out.) What's going on?

L: We're having our on little picnic lunch, indoors.

N: Jason, what brings you by?

J: Brenda wanted me to come by and give you the good news about her

sister.

N: How's Julia?

J: Things are looking good. The doctors ran some tests and she had an

involuntary response. Dr. Winters thinks it's a very good sign.

N: That's great!

L: It sure is. Where's Bren?

J: Brenda and Sonny were going to go celebrate. Look, I have to go.

L: Ok, well, don't be a stranger.

Jason leaves.

L: That's terrific news. Ned, now explain to me why we're having this

picnic indoors again.

N: To avoid the ants. Right, Brooke. (Looks at her.) Not to mention,

it's much cooler in here.

L: (Walks to him and sits on his lap and kisses him.) I don't know about

that.

Scene 5-Nicole and Paul walk into GH to the nurses station. Amy's there.

P: Excuse me.

A: What can I do for you?

P: I'm looking for Dr. Winters.

A: Yes. I just saw her. Let me page her. (Gets on the intercom.) >Dr.

Angela Winters, please report to the 7th floor nurses' station.<

(Gets off the intercom.) How do you know Dr. Winters?

P: She's my girlfriend. This is her daughter, Nicole.

A: Hi Nicole. Oh, stupid me, I'm Amy Vining.

P: Paul Simmons.

A: The hockey player?

Scene 6-Luke, Laura, and Lesley are at the Spencers.

Laura: Mother, I'm not sure about Nikolas, but Lucky will be there.

Lesley: Ok, well, I guess I'll have to tell Nikolas myself. After all,

he hasn't gotten the chance to meet his grandfather.

Scene 7-Stefan and Katherine are at GH.

S: Are you going to duplicate Alexis' action, after what you have

learned?

K: No.

S: Good, it's time to set this plan in motion.

K: You're going to activate the virus?

S: Yes.

Scene 8-At the Quartermaine mansion, the doorbell rings, Carly runs to

the door. It is Lucky and Sly.

C: Hello.

L: I didn't expect you to answer the door. The Quartermaines do have a

butler, you know.

C: I keep forgetting.

L: So, how are you?

C: Pretty good. You?

L: Ok. Oh, pardon my bad manners. This is Sly. Sly this is my cousin,

Caroline.

C: Hi Sly. Call me Carly.

S: (Staring at Carly's legs.) Hello Carly.

C: You must be here for Emily.

L: Yep, we're going to the picnic.

C: Well, if you need a ride there, AJ and I'd be glad to give you a

ride.

L: That'd be great.

Scene 9-Paul, Nicole, and Amy are at the seventh floor nurses station.

P: Yes, I'm surprised you've heard of me.

A: I was raised in Canada 'til I was about twelve. Hockey is life. So,

what are you doing in Port Charles?

Angela comes up to them.

Angela: Hello Paul, Nicole. Nurse Vining.

A: Dr. Winters.

Amy leaves.

P: Ready to go to the picnic?

Scene 10-Audrey runs into Tom, who is on his way out.

A: Where are you headed?

T: To the picnic, why?

A: Oh, I thought I'd take Tommy.

T: Mother, you can. Um, I'm going with someone.

A: Would this someone be Alexis Davis?

The elevator door opens. Steve's looking around.

T: Ding ding. Wink, tell her what she's won.

A: Really, Tom.

S: Um, excuse me. I'm looking for Audrey Hardy.

A: Yes, that's me.

S: Hi. I'm Steven Webber.

A: (Hugs Steve.) Oh my gosh, little Steven Lars.

Tom looks puzzled.

Part 84

Scene 1-Mac and Felicia are in the park.

F: I'm really sorry the girls aren't here to enjoy this, but I'm sure

they're doing the 4th of July up big in Texas.

M: I bet they're having a blast.

F: So, um, is Robin going to join us?

M: She said she might stop by before the fireworks display.

Scene 2-Nikolas and Gina are walking to the park.

G: I think you'll enjoy the fourth of July. You have seen fireworks

before?

N: Actual fireworks, no, I haven't.

G: So, what do you think of your new cousin?

N: I'm not sure, he seems a little rude.

Lucky, Sly, and Emily come along.

G: Hi guys.

S: (Going gaga over Gina.) Hi Gina.

N: Lucky, I had the pleasure of meeting our cousin.

E: You met Steve?

N: Yeah.

E: Isn't he great?

Scene 3-A.J. and Carly are in A.J.'s parked car, near the park.

C: A.J., we probably ought to catch up with Emily.

A: Actually, they probably don't want us tagging along.

C: (Seductively.) Then, it's just the two of us?

A: Uh, oh, yes. Just the two of us. Um, how about we go set up that

picnic spot.

Scene 4-Kevin and Lucy are in the park looking for Scott and Serena,

when they run into Alexis and Tom.

T: Kevin, Lucy.

K: Hello Tom, Alexis. Alexis, if you're free tomorrow I'd like to

discuss business matters with you.

A: Ok, but like I said I don't work for Stefan anymore.

K: Actually, that's what I'd like to talk about.

A: Ok, then, I'll call you tomorrow.

K: Thanks. Now, we have to find Scott and Serena.

T: Ok, see you later.

Kevin and Lucy leave.

T: You resigned from Cassadine Industries?

A: Yes, and from the hospital counsel. (Trying to change the subject.)

Was it just me or was Lucy rather quiet?

Scene 5-Audrey, Tommy, and Steve are at the park.

T: So, you're my cousin?

S: Technically, no.

T: What?

A: Um, Tommy, your father and his father weren't brothers.

T: But he's grandpa's grandson and so am I.

S: Um, you know what, maybe we shouldn't get into that. Will you two

excuse me, I see someone I know over there.

Steve leaves.

Scene 6-Steve walks to Jason and Robin.

S: Jason.

J: Hi. Um, Robin, this is Steve Webber.

S: Hello Robin.

R: Jason, I'm going to look for Felicia and Mac.

J: Ok. (Robin leaves.) What is it?

S: I was at GH meeting my grandmother. I happened to be walking by an

office there and I heard someone talking about putting a plan into

motion. Has there been any word from my father?

J: No, nothing.

S: What are we going to do?

Scene 7-Luke, Laura, Sonny, and Brenda are at Luke's.

Luke: Brenda, that's good news about your sister. Now, what about this

virus business, have you heard from Jeff?

S: No, there hasn't been a word.

Laura: Why do I get the feeling that there's going to be trouble soon?

Luke: Probably because there is.

B: At least for tonight, we are not going to worry about it. Sonny and I

are going to concentrate on celebrating.

Luke: Enjoy.

S: We will. Hey, is the joint closed or something?

Laura: For tonight.

Luke: Lulu's with her grandparents and Lucky's at the picnic. We finally

have some freedom.

Scene 8-Lucy and Kevin find Scott and Serena.

L: Finally! You two had to find the most far out place. (Serena

giggles.) Alright, you laugh at me entirely too much. I think I'm going

to have to tickle you.

Lucy tickles her. Kevin and Scott watch her and smile. Inside their

heads they're thinking about how great Lucy is with children.

Scene 9-Angela, Paul, and Nicole are walking through the park, looking

for a picnic spot.

N: Hey, there's Ned's cousin, and Lucky Spencer.

A: Why don't you say hi?

N: Ok. (Walks over to them.) Hi.

Emily: Oh, hi Nicole.

Lucky: Oh, Nicole, ah, this is my friend and cousin Sly Eckert.

Sly: Hi.

N: Hello.

E: Nicole, you're welcome to stay and eat with us.

N: Sure.

E: We have two others with us. They went to get some forks, since

someone forgot them.

S: Sorry.

Nicole sits on the blanket that's been spread out. The others are

sitting on it.

A: I guess she'd rather be with people her own age.

P: Yeah. Let's go find a spot.

Angela and Paul walk off.

Scene 10-Stefan is in his office on the phone. Katherine's there.

S: You've taken care of those two... Good... Good work. I guess that

means everything is perfectly in place.

Stefan hangs up.

K: All set?

S: Yes.

Part 85

Scene 1-Mac, Felicia, and Robin are in the park.

R: The chicken was great Felicia.

F: Thanks.

M: Where's Jason?

R: Talking to Steve Webber.

F: Who's that?

R: Rick Webber's nephew.

M: Oh, Dr. Webber. Did you know that he used to live in my house?

F: Several people have, even Lucy. So, it really comes as no surprise.

M: I didn't know that.

Jason comes.

J: What did I miss?

M: Felicia's chicken.

J: Sorry I was so late.

F: That's ok. We still have some chicken left.

Scene 2-Justus and Dara are sitting on a blanket in the park.

J: I'm glad you came.

D: I just hope no one gets the wrong idea.

J: You mean that we're on a date?

D: No, that we're working on Ms. Benson's case.

J: (Moving closer to Dara.) You don't have to worry about that. I

wouldn't allow them to think that.

D: (Looking up at his face, staring.) Good.

Scene 3-Sonny and Brenda are on the roof of the Harborview Towers.

B: I can't believe your landlord let you do this.

S: He didn't.

B: Oh?

S: Hey, look up there.

Brenda looks up, as some fireworks go off.

B: Wow, this is an incredible view.

Scene 4-In the park, fireworks go off. Steve's watching Gina and

Nikolas, and then his eyes shift to Lucky and Emily. He takes a sip of

his beer and talks to himself.

S: Ah, (Putting hands out like a scale.) beauty or money? (The money

hand goes down.) Ah, money. Cousin number one, move over.

Scene 5-Back in the park, the fireworks continue. Kevin and Lucy are

looking deep into each others eyes, as Scott looks on. Serena "ohs" and

"ahs" at the fireworks. Tom stares at Alexis as she's watching the

fireworks. She notices him looking at her, and flashes a smile. Angela

and Paul are holding hands, Angela's mind is obviously somewhere else.

Mac and Felicia, Jason and Robin each holding their respective mate,

watching the fireworks. Jason gets Robin up and takes her off to

somewhere else. Carly's starring at AJ. (In her head, cash register

smiles. Carly smiles back. Justus has his arm around Dara, as they both

stare up in the sky.

Scene 6-Luke and Laura are at home.

Luke: Are you sure you didn't want to see the fireworks display?

Laura: Yeah, when you've seen one you've seen 'em all.

Luke: Yeah, some things do get old. While others, they never can.

Luke moves towards her.

Laura: You're right.

Luke and Laura kiss.

Scene 7-Ned, Lois, Brooke, Alan, Monica, Edward, and Lila are down by

the lake at the Quartermaine mansion.

Lois: Oh, this will be great. Fireworks right out here by the lake.

A: I hope you don't mind, I took the liberty of inviting Lesley and

Rick. They have Lesley Lu for tonight.

N: Hey Brooke, you'll have some company.

Lila: Where's Emily?

N: She went to the picnic.

A: With Lucky and Sly.

M: They should be back soon.

E: It's good for her to get out. What about A.J.?

A: He and Carly drove the kids to the park.

N: Carly?!?

Scene 8-Stefan and Katherine are on the GH roof top.

K: It's beautiful out here.

S: Yes, the display is amazing.

K: (Staring into his eyes.) Incredible.

They kiss.

Scene 9-Jason and Robin are in a woodsy area.

R: Why'd you drag me off?

J: Because, I have something I want to ask you. Robin, will you marry

me?

Jason pulls out a ring box and opens it.

Scene 10-At the Quartermaine estate; Lesley, Rick, and Lu have joined

the Quartermaine family.

Alan: I'm so glad the three of you could join us.

Lois: Yeah, Brooke will enjoy having someone to hang out with who is

more her size.

Monica: I still can't believe that the two of you are grandparents.

Lesley: Hey, watch it. You might find yourself in that condition some

day soon.

Ned: I couldn't possibly fathom AJ as a father.

Reginald comes out.

R: Sir, are we ready?

Edward: Yes.

Reginald leaves.

Lila: What about the grandchildren?

E: I'm sure they stayed for the city's fireworks.

A.J. and Carly come up the hill.

A.J.: Hi.

Lila: Just in time. Where's your sister?

A.J.: Lucky and Emily decided to walk back.
