Part 107
Scene 1-Robin walks into Emily's hospital room. Alan and Monica are
there.
R: Hi. How is she?
A: She's hanging in. Dr. Winters thinks she might be able to make it
through this.
R: But you're both understandably afraid.
M: Yes, that this is going to turn out like Jason.
R: I don't think it will.
Lucky walks in.
L: Robin.
R: Hi.
L: Still the same?
M: Yes.
A: How's Amy?
L: Things are looking good.
M: I'm glad something's turning out good.
A: Lucky, are you going to stick around a little longer?
L: Yeah, I'll be here for a while.
A: Ok, Monica and I are going to get some coffee and check in on Amy.
R: Ok. (They leave.) Lucky, would you like to be alone with her?
L: Yeah.
R: I have some things to take care of, anyhow. (Goes to the door and
turns back.) Hey Lucky.
L: Yeah?
R: It'll be alright.
She leaves. Lucky looks down at Emily and grabs her hand, hoping for
some response.
Scene 2-Ned and Alexis are at the Port Charles Grill.
N: What happened to working for your cousin?
A: Long story.
N: Ok. Um, Jerry, rum and coke. Buy Ms. Davis another drink. So, where
is this contract?
A: (Hands it to Ned.) Here.
N: Thanks. (Looks into her eyes.) Something wrong?
A: Only my whole world's come crashing down.
N: You, too?
Scene 3-Jax, Julia, and Brenda are outside of Julia's hotel room.
Julia: Jax, my sister and I need an opportunity to catch up with one
another.
Jax: You're absolutely right. Breakfast tomorrow morning?
Julia: Yeah, sure.
Jax: And, then, we can discuss your position with the company here.
Julia: Yes, that sounds good. I'll see you tomorrow.
Jax: Bye.
B: Bye Jax. (He leaves.) Your position here? You're staying?
Scene 4-Luke, Sonny, and Jason are at Luke's.
L: It's someone with a grudge?
S: I'm thinking maybe it's somebody in the organization who doesn't like
the way things are run. The note said something about it not being over,
it's just the beginning.
J: Do you think it could be whoever Harry was working for?
S: Could be.
L: Well, I've got to get back to the hospital and see how my wife's
sister is doing.
J: Hey, while you're there, check on Emily for me.
L: Yeah, I will.
Scene 5-Mac walks into Emily's hospital room.
M: Lucky, I was hoping to ask you some more questions about the
accident.
Lucky: Sure. But, I can't leave her alone.
M: A.J. and Carly are outside.
L: Then, I'll go with you.
Lucky and Mac walk out.
L: You two go in. Don't leave her alone.
A.J.: I won't.
Scene 6-Robin walks into Luke's.
R: Hi Mike.
M: Robin. Um, Jason and Sonny are in Luke's office.
R: They probably won't want me to come in and interrupt them.
M: Ok, well...how are you?
R: Great. I'm sure Jason hasn't told you, yet. We haven't told very many
people. We're engaged.
Scene 7-Ned and Alexis are at the Port Charles Grill.
N: How'd your world come crashing down?
A: Only if you tell.
N: I promise I will, but ladies first.
A: Ok. I was having a perfectly lovely evening with Tom Hardy and who
shows up, my husband, from whom I've been separated for many years.
N: Uh-huh, is that it?
A: Well, and then my husband, Jeff, told Tom all about our daughter.
N: (Laughs.) Familiar story.
A: What do you mean?
N: Well, my problem stems from something just like that, and it may have
cost me Lois.
Scene 8-Julia and Brenda are in Julia's hotel room.
J: Yes, my dear sister. I'm staying.
B: For good?
J: I'm not sure.
B: Oh. Well, how long have you known Jax?
J: I think that's something we should discuss tonight at dinner.
B: Ok... But, you're being pretty evasive big sister.
Julia smiles.
J: I'll see you later.
Scene 9-Mac and Lucky are in the GH cafeteria.
M: I need to know exactly what happened.
L: We were walking to The Outback, we got there. Sly went in. We decided
we'd go for a walk around. We were at the corner of Pine and Sycamore.
We'd seen a stray dog, I went across the street to check it out.
M: What kind of dog was it?
L: I don't know, it was brown, why does it matter?
M: Any little detail might help. Ok, it was a brown dog, did it have any
tags?
L: No. Anyhow, I went to check on it. Emily stayed on the other side of
the street. All of the sudden, I'm pushed out of the way, I fall to the
ground and see Emily lying on the ground when I turned around.
M: And what did the car look like?
L: It was dark out. I think the car was black. It was a small car. It
had New York plates.
M: Do you know what make the car was?
L: I couldn't tell. It had tinted windows... I remember that.
M: Plate number?
L: No.
M: That's ok. This has been helpful. We'll patrol the area looking for
any cars that resemble it.
Mac leaves. Luke walks in.
Luke: Cowboy. Mac trying to find out who did this?
Lucky: Yeah, and I hope he does.
Scene 10-A.J. is stroking Emily's hair. Carly sits watching. Steve comes
in.
S: Oh, I'm sorry. I can come back later.
A: No, wait. You're Steve, right?
S: Yeah. I used to be a neighbor of Emily's. We're pretty good friends.
A: Hey, how long are you going to be here? I was thinking of going with
Carly to get something to eat and I promised Lucky she wouldn't be left
alone.
S: I'll stay as long as you need me to.
Part 108
Scene 1-Brenda walks into the Port Charles Grill, looking for Julia.
Instead, she sees Ned and Alexis at the bar. Brenda goes to Ned.
B: Ned, what are you doing here?
N: (Had a few too many.) Ah, Brenda, lovely, lovely Brenda. Me and Ms.
Alexis Davis, here, are doing a business deal.
B: You're drunk.
N: Oh, really?
A: She's right. Maybe you should sign the papers before you pass out.
N: Ah, yes. (Signs.) Brenda, what are you doing at this fine
establishment?
B: Julia and I are having dinner here. Have you talked to Lois?
N: Not at this point. I don't think she'll even listen.
A: (Starts to get up.) Um, maybe I should leave the two of you alone.
N: (Grabs her arm.) No, don't go.
Julia walks in.
B: I guess I'll leave you two to whatever it is that's left to do. Ned,
if you want to talk to Lois, she's staying at my old room at Kelly's.
Brenda leaves and walks to Julia.
A: Maybe you should talk to your wife.
N: No, not right now.
Scene 2-Gina and Nikolas are in the GH cafeteria.
G: Do you think that Mr. Cassadine will really harm Katherine?
N: I'm not sure. He doesn't seem like the same man that I lived with
most of my life. He seems more like Helena. Every move he makes...
Luke walks to their table.
L: Nikolas. I was wondering how Emily is. I thought it was better that I
not go in there and disturb someone who was visiting her.
N: The last time I was in there, she was still in the coma. Dr. Winters
was optimistic.
L: Ok, well, I'm going to see how Amy is, and then I'm going to report
back to Jason on Emily's condition.
Luke leaves.
G: How's your mother taking this whole situation?
N: She's pretty upset about Amy, but hopefully, everything's going to be
alright with her.
Scene 3-Scott and Serena are at Kevin and Lucy's doorstep. Lucy comes to
the door.
L: Hi you two.
Serena: Kevin, can I go play with Sigmund?
K: Sure, it's time to feed him. Why don't we go out and feed him
together?
Kevin and Serena go outside.
L: So, pal, how long are you going to be gone?
Scott: Just a few days, are you sure you don't mind?
L: No, not at all.
Scene 4-Justus, Edward, Lila, A.J., and Carly are at the Quartermaine
mansion.
J: I'm glad to hear that Emily's doing well.
E: Yes, that's great news.
L: AJ, my dear, have you heard any news on Amy?
A: No, I hadn't heard how she was doing, but mom and dad were going to
check on her. I can call.
L: Please.
A.J. leaves.
J: Um, Edward, Lila, if you'll excuse us we'll be going to another room
to discuss Carly's case.
L: Actually, you two should stay. Edward and I were thinking about going
for a walk down to the garden. Edward.
E: Alright my dear.
Lila and Edward leave.
Scene 5-Outside of Amy's hospital room, Paul's standing. Luke walks in,
walking right by him, and into the room. Laura sits there. Lesley's with
her.
Luke: So, what's the prognosis?
Laura: There hasn't been one, yet.
Lesley: Luke, Rick came in and gave her the once over, but there wasn't
anything definitive. But I think she's going to be alright.
Scene 6-Steve sits in Emily's room, talking to her. She is still in the
coma.
S: ...I was just totally blown away ...it was amazing.
Lucky comes in.
L: Where are Carly and A.J.?
S: They had to leave, I agreed to stay till you got back. Where were
you?
L: With Mac Scorpio, talking about the hit and run.
Scene 7-Ned and Alexis are at the Port Charles Grill.
N: (Drunk.) Well, now that Julia and Brenda have left. Would you like an
escort to your room Ms. Davis?
A: Actually, I was thinking that you ought to get a cab and go home.
N: No, let's go upstairs.
Scene 8-At the lighthouse, Kevin and Serena come back in.
Lucy: Ready to go?
Scott: Yeah. I'm leaving.
Serena hugs Scott.
Serena: I'll miss you.
Scott: I'll miss you, too.
Serena: Kevin, we probably should bring Sigmund in.
K: You're right. Bye Scott.
Kevin and Serena go back out.
Scott: Well, bye, Lucy.
Scott kisses her on the cheek, Lucy is stunned. Scott leaves.
L: Bye.
Scene 9-Alan and Monica are in the cubicle outside of Emily's room. They
watch Lucky and Steve with Emily. Alan looks at Monica.
A: You really need to get some rest.
M: I can't sleep.
Rick and Lesley come in. Lesley hugs Monica.
R: How does it look?
M: Good question, see for yourself.
Rick looks in.
R: What's my nephew doing here?
M: He and Emily were friends back in Arizona.
R: I didn't know that.
Lesley looks in at Lucky.
Lesley: This has torn him up bad.
A: All of us.
Gail comes in and hugs Monica.
G: Sweetheart, I'm so sorry. I just heard. Lee and I had been out of
town.
M: (Near tears.) Thanks for coming.
G: Monica, I'll always, always be here for you.
M: (Cries.) Thanks.
Inside hospital room.
Lucky: Why don't you go home and get some sleep?
S: Yeah, I guess I should. Take care.
Lucky: I will.
S: (To Emily, acting as if she could hear him.) You too, Emily.
E: (In weak voice.) I will.
Steve turns to see her awake, Lucky looks down at her. He can't believe
it.
Lucky: Emily!
E: What happened?
Outside hospital room.
A: She's awake!
Alan and Monica hug.
M: I'm going to call the house and let them know.
Monica leaves.
R: If you'll excuse me, I have patients to check on.
Rick leaves and Lesley follows.
Scene 10-Rick and Lesley go into Amy's room, Luke and Laura are there.
R: Hi, um who's the guy out there?
Laura: Paul something or other.
Luke: He caused the accident.
Lesley: He's been out there the whole time.
Luke: So, Rick, what's up? You look like you have some news to tell us.
R: Yes.
Laura: What is it?
R: Emily's out of her coma.
Luke: That's great!
Laura: And everything's alright? It isn't like what happened to Jason?
R: No, it's nothing like that. She recognized Lucky.
Lesley: Jason?
Laura: You met Jason Morgan, well, he used to be Jason Quartermaine. He
was in a car accident and had some brain damage, he has no memory of who
he was or his family prior to the accident.
Lesley: I didn't realize.
Part 109
Scene 1-The next morning, Robin and Jason wake up in each others arms.
R: Now that Emily's going to be ok, maybe we should start planning for
the wedding.
J: Yes.
R: Something simple.
J: Whatever you want.
R: Ok, well, I think we should tell everyone.
J: Everyone includes them?
R: Yes, the Quartermaines.
J: Ok, some of them aren't that bad.
R: Well, I've got to get dressed. I'm going to the Wellness Center this
morning and then I have to go pick up my schedule of classes for the
fall and then there's the funeral we have to be at.
Scene 2-Ned wakes up in his bed at the gatehouse. "The Only One I Love"
by Kurth and Taylor, (Eddie Maine and the Idle Rich) plays, as various
scenes flashback.

Scene 3-Luke and Laura are at their house.
Luke: We should get to this funeral we're having.
Laura: Are you sure we should do this? You remember everyone reacted
when we came back. I just don't want this to backfire.

won't know a thing.
Laura: What about Nikolas and Lucky?
Luke: They know and they'll both be there. This will go off without a
hitch.
Scene 4-A.J., Carly, Monica, Alan, Justus, Edward, and Lila are at the
Quartermaine den.
C: This is it.
L: Carly, I know this must be difficult, but you're handling this
beautifully.
C: Thank you.
E: Well, if you'll excuse me, I must check in with Ned about a deal he
was supposed to have done last night. Justus, this concerns you, too.
Scene 5-Lucky is in Emily's hospital room.
E: You think Amy's going to be alright?
L: They're not sure, but I think everything's going to be ok. It's
strange, the guy who caused the accident has been outside her room
constantly.
E: Hmmm... Well... After what you told me about that party, I'm kind of
glad that we didn't make it. Nicole must be extremely upset.
L: Yeah, your mom told me. Ned and Angela hadn't heard from her. She did
show up when you were in the coma, but it was a brief visit. (Looks down
at his watch.) Shoot, I've got to go, I'm supposed to meet my family in
a few minutes.
E: Before you go, how's Nikolas?
L: As far as I know, he's alright. He'll probably come by after the
service.
E: Ok, bye.
L: Bye. (Kisses her.) I love you.

Scene 6-Fifteen minutes later, Robin comes in.
R: I had some work at the Wellness Center, before I go to the service.
Jason'll come by later. How are you?
E: Not too bad. You know it's incredible the way your face lights up
when you say Jason's name.
R: As yours does when you say Lucky's.
E: Really?
R: Yes. Anyhow, I have a secret I want to tell you. Can you keep it a
secret and not tell anyone?
E: Sure, what is it?
R: Jason and I are engaged.
E: Oh my god, that's great!
Scene 7-Ned hears a knock at the door. He goes to the door, still
wearing the clothes from the night before. Justus and Edward are there.
E: Well, I'm glad you don't have a business meeting today, your attire
is simply...
N: Is there a reason you're here?
E: I came to ask you about the deal, is it done?
N: Yes, I met with Alexis Davis and signed off on it.
J: Alexis?
N: She's working for the Barringtons.
E: I wonder why.
N: Grandfather, I don't know. Now, is that all?
E: Yes, I suppose. I expect to see you at the service with clean clothes
and a shave.
N: Yes.
E: Well, Justus and I will be leaving you to whatever it was you were
doing.
J: Um, Edward, I'd like to talk to Ned for a minute.
Edward leaves.
N: What is it?
Scene 8-Audrey and Tom are outside the church, where the funeral is to
be held.
A: Why does it seem like we're always ending up here?
T: Death happens.
A: Where's Tommy?
T: At home with Simone, we both thought it best for him to stay home, as
upset as he was.
A: How's Simone?
T: Ok, I guess. She's acting kind of strange.
A: How so?
Jeff approaches.
T: I don't want to get into it right now.
J: Tom, Audrey.
A: Jeff!
Scene 9-Stefan goes in Emily's room.
S: Hello Ms. Quartermaine.
E: Mr. Cassadine, what are you doing here?
S: I wanted to see how you were progressing. Your parents are two of the
most valued physicians at this hospital. As CEO, I wanted to make sure
you were well.
Steve comes to the door.
E: I'm fine, thank you for your concern.
S: I'm glad to hear that. Well, I believe you might need some rest.
Stefan leaves. Steve watches him close as he walks out. Nicole comes in
and the two go in.
E: Steve. Nicole, oh my gosh, are you ok?
N: Yeah, I'm fine.
Steve: What was Cassadine doing here?
Scene 10-Sonny and Brenda are outside the church.
B: Are you sure it's ok to be here?
S: Look, we have to keep everything as if nothing out of the ordinary
were going on.
B: What if who ever this is attacks you?
S: They won't in public.
B: Are you sure?
S: Yeah, and anyway, Jason has Pete, Joseph and the others watching the
place.
Part 110
Scene 1-Outside the church, Tom, Audrey, and Jeff are standing.
A: Are you here to stay?
J: Yes, I have my son and my wife here, I think it's best to stay.
A: Wife?
T: He's married to Alexis Davis.
A: Oh my. I didn't realize she was married.
Along come the Quartermaines with Carly. At first no one sees Jeff.
Monica goes to Audrey.
M: Audrey, (Hugs her.) how are you?
A: I'm ok. How's Emily?
Jeff turns to where he's visible to Monica.
Scene 2-Robin and Felicia are inside.
R: Where's Uncle Mac?
F: Working on the computers to see if Stefan Cassadine has sabotaged the
ones at headquarters. I don't think he'll be able to figure that out
himself, though. Where's Jason?
R: He'll be in here soon, he and Sonny had something to discuss.
Scene 3-Steve, Nicole, and Emily are at Emily's room.
E: I don't know why he'd visit me. He said something about wanting to
make sure I was alright.
S: Strange.
E: Nicole, I'm glad you stuck around.
N: I didn't have anywhere else to go.
E: I'm sure things are confusing right now, but you have family, granted
their Quartermaines, but they're family and they would do anything for
you.
N: Like lying?
E: Ned and Edward were wrong. They're wrong a lot, but they have reasons
for those actions, generally stupid ones, but they can't go back and
change things. Right now, I know you don't want to see them or your mom,
but if you need a place to stay, you can come to the house. There are so
many rooms, you can be all alone, no one would know you were there. But,
you should know that family cares.
Scene 4-Everyone is at the church service for Bobbie, Tony, and Lucas.
Luke, Laura, Lu, Lucky, Ruby, Lesley, Rick, A.J., Carly, Alan, Monica,
Ned, Tom, Audrey, Nikolas, Gina, Lucy, Serena, Kevin, Gail, Lee,
Felicia, Robin, Jason, Sonny, Brenda, Lois, Jeff, Edward and Lila. There
is and odd silence between Alan and Monica.
Alan: Is there something wrong?
M: (Snappy.) No.
Alan: Jeff?
M: Um, yeah, it is. It was creepy seeing him after all these years.
Alan: How so?
M: I don't know, but I wish this thing would get over soon.
Scene 5-Paul is in Amy's room, watching her.
P: It's strange. I think I met you once. Then because of this accident,
you end up in a coma for days and who knows if you'll come out of it.
I'm responsible. It wasn't even like I was drunk or anything. I was just
angry about what happened and I took that out on the road and it lead to
you being here. I'm so sorry.
Angela comes in.
Angela: Paul.
P: What're you doing here?
Angela: I came to check on my patient.
P: Do that and get out, because I don't want to see your face any longer
than necessary.
Scene 6-After the service, Audrey and Tom are talking.
A: Did you know that Alexis was married when you went on that date?
T: No, in fact, on that last date, that's when I found out. Jeff showed
up and told me. They have a daughter, too. (His beeper goes off. He
looks at his beeper.) I've got to get to this hospital.
Tom leaves Audrey by herself.
A: Oh dear. (A.J. and Carly walk out of the church. Audrey stops them,
as they're headed to A.J.'s car.) Carly, I thought that was a lovely
service.
C: Yes, it was. A fitting way to pay tribute to their memory. Laura did
a wonderful job putting it together.
A.J.: If you'll excuse us Mrs. Hardy, we have to get to the cemetery.
A: Sure, I must be getting there myself.
A.J.: Would you like to ride with us?
A: No, actually, I have somewhere I have to go after the burial.
Scene 7-Laura sits alone in the church. She thinks about Stefan when he
was on the Island. Stefan was so gentle and caring.
L: (To herself.) How could a man become so cruel and vicious?
Stefan walks in.
S: Hello Lasha.
L: (Turns quickly to see him standing behind.) Stefan, what are you
doing here?
S: Paying my respects...
Scene 8-Felicia goes to Mac's office at the PCPD.
M: Guess what? The computers crashed.
F: Stefan?
M: Probably. Now, we can't process anyone and if there isn't some kind
of back up paper work around this place, we might have to let criminals
go after their twenty four hours.
F: Yikes.
M: All of the computer staff seems to be missing. I'm going to call
Kevin.
Scene 9-Lucy, Kevin, and Serena are at the lighthouse.
L: Well, here we are.
They sit down on the couch.
S: Lucy, what happens after you die?
L: Woh, um, well, doc, you wanna take this one?
K: I guess, I could try to explain it. It's very complicated. It really
depends on a person's beliefs. Many people believe that...
L: Woh, doc, you're probably going over her head.
K: Ok, well, maybe I could put this in easier terms. Serena... Um...
(Phone rings.) I'll get that.
S: Lucy, can you explain it?
Kevin hangs up.
L: What was that about?
K: That was Mac, the PCPD's having a computer problem. There's no one
available to help.
L: So, you're going?
K: Yeah, I kind of owe Mac.
L: I understand. (Kisses him.) Bye.
K: Bye. Bye Serena.
Kevin leaves.
S: Lucy?
Scene 10-Angela is walking out of Amy's room and bumps into Tom.
T: Something wrong with Amy?
A: No, with me. Maybe you've heard it around the hospital grape vine.
T: Yeah, actually, I have. It's a funny thing, I always thought Amy was
the gossip grape vine. I guess someone felt the need to take her place.
A: Maybe. Anyhow, Paul and my daughter will have nothing to do with me.
T: Why don't we go to Kelly's together and discuss our problems over a
late dinner?
A: Sure, as long as you don't analyze.
