Part 111

Scene 1-Ned and Justus are at the cemetery.

N: Actually, Justus, I'm glad grandfather offered you the job and that

you accepted. Otherwise we'd have A.J. screwing things up.

J: Quit that. You can't continually harp on A.J., he's very successful.

Also, my being put in this position isn't a done deal. It'll have to go

to the board. Lila, A.J., Alan, Monica, Jax, Lucy and Scott Baldwin will

still have to approve it.

N: Yes, but I seriously doubt anyone of those board members will vote

against you.

J: Maybe, but I could change my mind and suggest to Edward that A.J.'s

suited for the job.

N: Just like you did the city council seat. Only so A.J. can throw it

away or give it to someone like Stefan Cassadine.

Lois comes up.

L: Ned, we need to discuss some things.

Scene 2-Lucky visits Emily.

E: How'd it go?

L: Good. I can't stay long. Your grandmother insisted I come over and

have dinner with your family.

E: Good luck.

L: Your father said he wouldn't be able to make it. He said something

about surgical rounds.

E: Yeah, he has a week before he can get into the surgical rotation

here. He was so nervous about it the last time we talked.

L: Yeah. Have you ever thought about being a doctor?

E: No way. I've always had this aspiration to become a writer. What

about you?

L: I always thought I'd follow my father's footsteps.

E: Into danger?

L: Ha, funny. No, maybe owning a club, maybe clubs all over the eastern

sea board.

E: Sounds incredible.

L: Mostly a dream.

E: Dreams do come true. (There's a knock at the door.) Come in.

Nikolas comes in with flowers.

E: They're beautiful.

N: I guess I'll put them down here.

Nikolas sets them on a table.

L: Em, I've got to go. Oh, by the way, your mom said she'd stop by later

tonight.

E: Ok, bye.

L: I love you.

Lucky kisses Emily on the cheek and leaves.

Scene 3-Alexis is at her hotel room, there's a knock at the door. Alexis

opens it.

Alexis: Audrey. Um, can I ask what you're doing here?

Audrey: Yes, of course, I should tell you. This is about Tom and Jeff.

Scene 4-Laura and Stefan are at the church.

S: See Lasha, I'm paying my respects to the not so dead, or should we

call them the undead? Lasha, I know. I know about this scheme your

simple minded husband's tried to pull, again. What he doesn't realize is

whatever he does, it isn't going to work. I'm not out to kill anyone.

And, I'd never harm Lucas, I grew quite fond of the boy. See, I didn't

come here for any reason but you. And, now that I can't have you, I'm

going to try to accomplish the goals Helena has set for the Cassadine

family.

L: And just what are those goals?

Scene 5-Kevin arrives at the PCPD and goes to Mac's office, where he

finds Mac and Felicia, tinkering with the computer.

M: Good, you're here. I hope I didn't interrupt anything when I called.

K: Serena was asking us about death. Anyhow, I was trying to explain it.

Lucy said I was probably going over her head. Then you called. It was a

relief.

F: Maybe you can figure out what's wrong, there's this file that Mac's

found, he thinks it's Greek.

K: You think it's Stefan?

M: Possibly.

K: Will you two excuse me? I need to call someone. I'll be right back.

Scene 6-Ned and Lois are at the gatehouse.

N: What do we need to discuss?

L: The living situation.

N: You're moving back in?

L: No. I still can't move back in this house with you. Since I moved

out, I haven't been able to conduct business, as far as L&B's concerned.

N: So, you want me out?

L: Yes.

N: Ok, I can do that. You said things, though, what is there?

L: I thought I should tell you that right now, I think it's best that

Brenda work with you, as far as arranging concerts and recordings. I'll

be doing the same with Angela.

N: Well, you better call her and give her that message. Oh, or better

yet, get Brenda to call her. See, I think you forget one important thing

about business. You deal with all your clients, no matter what personal

problems you have with them.

L: Oh, Mr. CEO, don't you dare tell me how to run my company.

N: Was there anything else?

L: Yes, but at this moment, I don't care to discuss them. So, um, I

suggest you inform the staff at the main house that you're moving back

in, or you find a hotel room. When you decide, let me know, so I can

bring Brooke to see you.

N: You're actually going to allow me to see her. Aren't you afraid I

might corrupt her?

L: You know what Ned, I don't want our daughter going through the same

thing as Nicole!

Lois storms out.

N: (Hits self on head.) Damn! (Shakes head.) I messed up bad.

Scene 7-Lucky stops by Luke's.

Mike: Hi Lucky, what can I get you?

Lucky: Cherry coke.

M: Anything to eat?

Lucky: No, I'm headed to the Quartermaines' for dinner.

M: Ah, that explains why you've still got your suit on.

Lucky: Yeah. (Mike gets Lucky's drink.) Thanks.

Luke comes in.

Luke: Cowboy, have you seen you mother?

Lucky: No, how come she didn't make it to the cemetery?

Luke: She said she didn't feel like going through all that.

Lucky: Then, where's Lu?

Luke: Your grandparents have her tonight.

Lucky: Maybe mom went to see Amy.

Luke: Possibly.

Lucky: (Looks at watch.) I have to go.

Luke: Yeah, wouldn't want to miss that lovely dinner with the Qs.

Lucky gulps down his drink. He runs out the door, as Sonny and Brenda

come in.

S: Mike.

Luke: Hey.

S: What's up?

Luke: Not too much.

S: Um, honey, excuse us, we have something we have to discuss.

Luke: We'll be in the back room.

Sonny and Luke walk off to the office. Lois comes in.

B: Lois!

M: If this keeps up, we're going to have to put a revolving door in.

What can I get the two of you to drink?

Lois: Jack and coke.

B: Lois! I'm surprised.

M: What would you like Brenda?

B: I'll have an iced tea. (Mike leaves.) What's wrong?

Scene 8-Nikolas is in Emily's room. Steve comes in with flowers and

balloons.

S: Hey!

E: Steve, that is so beautiful. Thank you.

S: You're welcome. I see someone already beat me to the punch. Lucky?

E: No.

N: I brought the flowers.

S: They're nice.

Steve sets the flowers and balloons next Nikolas's.

N: I probably should be going. Bye.

E: Bye.

Nikolas leaves.

S: Did you tell him that Stefan stopped by?

E: No, and I didn't tell Lucky either, they'd both flip out.

Scene 9-Alexis and Audrey are at Alexis' room.

Audrey: See, I didn't think that you were much like your cousin Stefan,

but now, I have the feeling that you and he are two of a kind.

Alexis: Mrs. Hardy, I'm sorry that you feel that way, but it is very

much the opposite of that.

Audrey: What do you mean? I don't seem to think that is so. The way that

you kept your marriage a secret from Tom, just like Stefan kept the

secret that Nikolas really is Luke Spencer's son.

Alexis: (Stunned.) Mrs. Hardy, how did you...

Scene 10-Kevin and Jeff go into Mac's office.

K: Mac, Felicia; this is Jeff Webber, Steve Hardy's son.

M: Hi.

J: Nice to meet you two.

K: Jeff worked with someone on trying to find a way to crack Stefan's

virus.

J: Kevin gave me some of the papers that his father had been sending

him. And, my son, Steve, worked on the formulas a little and I think

we've found a way to temporarily reverse the situation.

Part 112

Scene 1-The next morning, Robin's running around Jason's, trying to find

something. Jason comes out of the bathroom with a piece of paper.

J: Is this what you were looking for?

R: Thanks.

J: (Smiles.) My pleasure.

Jason kisses Robin.

R: Jason, I've got to go. (Looks at the paper.) I have psych in about 15

minutes. I'm going to be late.

J: Ok, I'll let you go.

R: I'll see you, bye.

J: Bye. (Robin leaves. Gets on his cell phone.) Sonny, we need to talk.

I have some news.

Scene 2-Carly comes down the Quartermaine stairs and walks in the living

room. Alan, Monica, A.J., Lila, Edward, and Justus are eating breakfast.

L: Good morning dear.

C: Good morning, Mrs. Quartermaine.

A.J.: Well, this is it.

M: Carly, I'd be there in court, but I have a very critical patient, who

needs surgery, which is scheduled for today.

C: That's ok.

Alan: If you'll excuse me, I have to get to the hospital.

Alan leaves.

E: Well, he's nervous about something.

L: Edward, if you paid any attention to anything besides yourself and

business, you'd know Alan's going to be starting in the surgical

rotation soon.

M: Yes, and he is very nervous and anxious about it.

J: Carly, we should be heading to the court house.

M: Good luck.

A.J., Justus and Carly leave.

E: Do you really think that girl has got a snowball's chance in hell of

getting off?

Scene 3-Luke and Laura are at the Spencers.

Laura: So, you're going to the courthouse?

Luke: Yeah. Um, Lucky and I were a little concerned, where did you

disappear to last night?

Laura: Luke, I don't think this is the best time right now. You need to

be there for your niece.

Luke: Ok. Later?

Laura: Yes.

Luke: What are your plans for the day?

Laura: I was thinking about going to see Amy. I was going to take Lulu

with me and hope that maybe she could snap Amy out of this.

Luke hugs her.

Luke: I think that's a good idea.

Scene 4-Angela is at the nurses station. Tom sees her.

A: Hi Tom. How are you?

T: Ok, I guess. I wanted to thank you for the opportunity to spill my

guts about my life.

A: You're welcome, but I think I should be thanking you or paying for

your psychoanalysis.

T: Ah, but I'm not in practice anymore. I'm in the practice of answering

to Mr. Cassadine about the hospital budget, and hiring and firing staff.

A: But it's a very important job.

T: Sometimes, I think I should hand it over to someone else.

A: Want to go to lunch and discuss our other problems?

T: Sure, what time?

A: Well, I have some interns and Dr. Quartermaine to take on surgical

rounds soon. How about twelve?

T: Ok.

A: I've got to run.

Angela leaves. Audrey appears and sees her son staring as Angela walks

away.

Scene 5-Lucy and Serena are at the lighthouse, Serena's all dressed up

and has her backpack slung over her shoulder.

S: How do I look?

L: Perfect, you'll have a great first day of school.

S: I hope so. I hope I make friends.

L: Oh sweetie, you will. (Hugs Serena.) Now, we better get out to the

bus stop before you miss the bus. (Go outside. The bus comes. Serena

gets on and Lucy waves as the bus pulls away. Kevin comes home.)

Where've you been?

K: Saving the Port Charles Police Department some money, time and grief.

There was a computer virus. It's been temporarily fixed.

L: Um, well, that's good.

Kevin and Lucy walk in.

K: Serena got off to school alright?

L: Yeah. You know, Scott really should have been here for this.

K: You're right.

Scene 6-Jason and Sonny are in Luke's office.

S: So, what is it?

J: Our guy at the PCPD says Garcia is coming back.

S: Is that it?

J: Yeah, but don't you think it could cause problems?

S: Nah. Sure it's a hassle, but Garcia isn't an obstacle.

J: So, everything goes as planned?

S: Business as usual.

Scene 7-Carly, Justus, and A.J. head in court. Tons of cameras and

reporters surround. Dara is across the room and comes over.

D: Hello counselor.

J: Ms. Jenson.

D: Everything as planned?

J: There's a slight change. Mac and Felicia are coming to testify about

the evidence they found that might prove Ms. Benson's innocent.

Scene 8-Tom is at the nurses station and turns to see Audrey.

A: Tom. So, you're going to have lunch with Angela Winters?

T: Yes.

A: Well, I think that is great.

T: If you'll excuse me, I'm going to check on Amy.

Tom starts to walk off, running into Alexis, who came off the elevator.

Tom notices a strange moment between his mother and Alexis.

Scene 9-Mac and Felicia are outside of the courtroom.

M: Talked to the girls recently?

F: Yeah, Maxie's first day of school is today.

M: Oh. (Garcia walks by.) Garcia.

G: Mac, Felicia.

M: Garcia came back, he couldn't take LA.

G: I missed Port Charles. And, I know there's a chance for advancement

here.

M: Yeah, but don't get any smart ideas.

G: I won't. I just thought I'd come to see the goings on of the trial,

maybe give me some clues or something.

Scene 10-Monica comes out of the OR. Rick sees she's upset.

R: Hey, what's wrong?

M: I lost Mr. Andrews.

R: Mr. Andrews?

M: He's been a patient of mine for fifteen years, and somehow I screwed

up.

Monica cries. Rick struggles with what to do. Then, his puts his arms

around her.

R: It'll be alright. (She looks up at him, she remembers that look from

when she lost her first patient. Monica runs off.) Monica!

Part 113

Scene 1-Jax and Julia are at Jax's office.

Julia: What exactly is it we are acquiring today?

Jax: Actually, it's not what we're acquiring. It's who we're acquiring.

Julia: Excuse me?

Jax: I have discovered Katherine Bell has taken her services elsewhere.

Julia: And where is that?

Jax: Nowhere at this time. She was working for Stefan Cassadine, but

that seems to have fallen through.

Julia: So, what are you suggesting?

Scene 2-In court, Carly and Justus sit at the defense desk. Dara at the

prosecution desk. Garcia's in the back. Mac, Felicia, and A.J. are

seated behind the defense. Justus is turned talking to Felicia and Mac.

J: I'm glad you two came today, but I doubt we will have any testimony

today.

M: That's alright. Maybe sitting here and listening to the opening

arguments will help shed some light.

Bailiff: All rise. The honorable Judge Harold Morris presiding.

The judge comes out.

Judge: You may be seated.

Scene 3-Jason and Robin meet for lunch at The Outback.

J: So, how are your classes so far?

R: Pretty good. How's your day?

J: Ok. Where are Mac and Felicia?

R: They went to Carly's trial.

J: That's today?

Scene 4-Laura is at Amy's side, holding Lu. Paul is outside, asleep in a

chair. He is still wearing the clothes from the day of the accident.

Laura: Amy, you've got to wake up. I need you. Your nephews need you.

This hospital needs you. Most importantly, your niece needs you.

Lu's eyes wonder and focus on Amy. Lu reaches for Amy's hand and mutters

the name Amy. Laura cries. Amy's eyes flutter.

Lu: Amy.

Laura: Yes. (Sees Amy's eyes opening.) Amy! (Runs out to Paul.) Get a

doctor! I think she's waking up.

Paul wakes and runs out to get a doctor, he catches Rick, who's trying

to find Monica.

P: Dr. Webber, come in quick, it's Amy.

Scene 5-In Emily's room, Ned is there.

E: You're just going to move out, like that? Where are you going to go?

N: I thought it would be best if I stayed at the Port Charles Hotel.

E: Must be a haven for Quartermaines when there's a problem in their

marriage. (Ned laughs, sadly.) Promise you will talk to Lois and try to

work this out?

N: I'll try, but I won't guarantee you anything. So, where is Lucky...

Oh, I forgot, he's probably at school.

E: School? It's September already? Oh my gosh, I missed Alan and

Monica's anniversary. Did they do anything for it?

N: As far as I know, it went pretty much unnoticed. They were too

concerned with you to worry about some day on a calendar.

Alan comes in.

A: Hey, how ya doing?

E: Good. Except, I just found out that I missed an important day while I

was in ICU.

A: What's that?

E: You and Monica's anniversary.

The door flung open, it's Nicole. Ned looks surprised.

Scene 6-Jax and Julia are at Jax's office.

Julia: You're suggesting we hire Katherine Bell? Why? You have a very

competent public relations staff.

Jax: Yes, they're very competent. They can clean up all of Jerry's

mishaps, but they're not here. See, I want to start doing more business

locally. In fact, I'm visiting with the city council in the next few

days to discuss the possibility of building a J&J Jacks building to

house local offices.

Julia: When would you like me to talk to Katherine?

Jax: She'll be here in a few minutes. (She looks miffed. There's a

knock. Jax opens it.) Hello Ms. Bell. You're right on time.

Scene 7-In court, Justus is giving his opening argument. Luke comes in.

J: Many people in this town wanted Pierce Dorman dead. It's a fact, it's

true. There's no denying it. The man brought a lot of pain to the

citizens of this town. He was a murderer, maybe he was never prosecuted,

but he sold drugs to children, CHILDREN, leading to many deaths. He was

an unethical surgeon, using anything in his power to move up in the

ranks at General Hospital. And, he was a rapist. Ms. Benson was a victim

of this act. She doesn't deny shooting or attempting to shoot the man.

She admits she had the means, the motive and the opportunity. Yet, there

is the possibility that she didn't kill Pierce Dorman. I have police

officials who will testify to the number of suspects, the evidence

against others, and the numerous bullet holes at the scene. You'll also

hear testimony from the defendant, testimony of what she did that night.

And, after it's all finished, you will decide the innocence or guilt of

the defendant.

Scene 8-Tom and Angela have just finished lunch at Kelly's, when Audrey

comes in.

T: Hi, what brings you to Kelly's?

Audrey: I came to pick up one of Ruby's strawberry pies.

Angela: Hello, Mrs. Hardy.

Audrey: Hello Angela.

Audrey goes up to the counter.

Ruby: Your pie will be out in a second.

A: Thanks Ruby.

Ruby goes to the back. Tom comes up to the counter.

T: Mother, would you tell me what the deal was between you and Alexis

this morning.

Audrey: Tom, I really would rather not get into that right now.

Ruby comes out with her pie.

R: Here you go.

Audrey: Thanks.

Audrey leaves.

T: I'll just have to ask Alexis.

Scene 9-Amy's hospital room; Rick, Laura, Lu and Paul are there.

R: Well, she's awake. I'm not sure she'll be responsive when you talk to

her, but you can try.

Laura: Amy.

There is no response.

R: Amy. (Nothing.) Amy, if you can hear me, nod. (Amy nods.) Good.

Laura: If she can hear you, why isn't she talking?

R: I'm not sure. There could be a variety of reasons. I think I should

consult Dr. Winters on this. Possibly get a specialist.

Laura: Ok, do that.

R: I'm on my way to do so and them I'm going to call Lesley and tell her

the news.

Rick leaves.

P: This is great progress.

Laura stares at him.

Scene 10-Emily's hospital room; Alan, Ned and Nicole are there.

E: Nicole, will you please talk to Ned.

Nicole: I guess I don't have a choice.

A: You two could go to my office.

Ned and Nicole leave.

E: How were rounds?

A: Everything went good. Um, a couple of the interns asked about you.

E: Who and why?

A: Joe Scanlon and Karen Wexler. They were here when you were brought

in.

E: Oh. Hey, when do I get out of this bed?

A: Dr. Winters has set up a time tomorrow for physical therapy.

Monica comes in.

M: Oh, if I'm interrupting, I can come back later.

E: No, you aren't. So, how was dinner the other night?

M: Good. Edward informed Lucky there wouldn't be a poker game.

E: He could wipe grandfather out. (Studies Monica's face.) Is there

something wrong?

Part 114

Scene 1-Jason enters the municipal building, outside the courtroom there

are scads of reporters, Mac and Felicia sit on a bench.

J: Mac, where's Carly?

M: She, A.J., and Justus are looking for another way out of the

building.

Jason leaves.

F: Why would he want to see Carly?

M: From what Robin's told me, I believe they're friends.

Scene 2-Ned and Nicole are in Alan's office.

Nicole: What do you want?

Ned: I want to know how you're doing and where you're staying.

Nicole: I'm fine. I'm staying some place safe.

Ned: Your mother's worried about you.

Nicole: Oh, really?

Ned: Yes. I told her that I'd ask you if you might consider staying at

the mansion.

Scene 3-Jax, Julia, and Katherine are at Jax's office.

K: What exactly did you call me here for?

Jax: I have a job proposition for you.

Julia: Jax thinks you would be perfect to head up PR for J&J Jacks of

Port Charles.

Scene 4-Alexis sits at her desk in her hotel room working on some paper

work. There's a knock at the door.

A: Tom, what are you doing here?

T: I need to ask you a couple of questions.

Scene 5-Emily's room, Monica doesn't respond to her question.

E: Mom.

M: (Almost like she's snapped out of a spell.) What?

Alan: Monica, is there something wrong?

M: I lost Mr. Andrews.

E: I'm sorry.

M: He'd been a patient of mine for fifteen years.

A: Have you notified is family, because if you haven't, I could...

M: He didn't have any family. (Alan puts his hand on Monica's shoulder.)

Thanks.

A: I better go. I'll see you later.

E: Bye. (He leaves.) Monica, are you going to be ok?

M: I don't know. I mean, it's not the first time I've lost a patient. In

fact, I thought I'd gotten over that part. I've been a doctor for so

many years, you think I would, but Mark Andrews was like a part of my

family. I knew so much about him...

Scene 6-A.J., Justus, and Carly are at the Quartermaine mansion.

C: Remind me to thank Jason for helping us get out of that zoo.

J: I hope he can do something about the reporters outside. Edward will

have a coronary.

Scene 7-Ned and Nicole are in Alan's office.

Nicole: With the Quartermaines?

Ned: Yes, your family. You wouldn't have to worry about me. I've moved

out of the gatehouse. I'll be no where on the grounds, unless you say

it's alright. You can be with people who care about you. I know

grandmother and Emily would love to have you there.

Nicole: What about your wife?

Ned: Lois, well, she lives in the gatehouse. She occasionally comes up

to the house, but she has nothing against you. What she has is a problem

with the lying and the keeping secrets. I have a feeling you and Lois

would get along well. Hey, and maybe, you could spend time with your

little sister. You don't have to decide now, you just call the house and

talk to grandmother. She'll have the staff set up a room for you.

Scene 8-Serena comes running in the lighthouse. Lucy hugs her.

L: How was your first day of school?

S: I loved it. I met this real funny guy.

L: What was his name?

S: Tommy Hardy.

L: Really? I know his father.

S: He was so funny.

L: Well, it sounds like you had a fun day.

S: I sure did. Where's Kevin?

L: Upstairs, painting.

Scene 9-Alexis and Tom are at her room.

T: What's the problem between you and my mother?

A: Oh, that's what this is about.

Scene 10-Nikolas is about to enter Amy's room, when he sees Gina.

N: Hi stranger, where have you been?

G: Nikolas.

N: Hi. You didn't answer my question.

G: Nikolas, I have some bad news.

N: What is it?

Scene 1-Alexis and Tom are at Alexis' room.

A: Ok, I'm assuming you want an explanation of the awkwardness between

us when we saw each other at the hospital.

T: Yes.

A: Well, I'll explain. I was visited by your mother. She wanted me to

explain why I didn't tell you about Jeff and my daughter.

T: Really?

A: Yes, that's the honest to God truth.

Scene 2-Nicole and Steve are at Kelly's.

S: So, your father asked you to move into the Q mansion?

N: Yeah, I don't know if I want to.

S: Not that I'm kicking you out, but who would give up the opportunity

to live in such a fine house?

N: So, I should?

S: (Smiles.) Yeah, I think so.

N: Ok, well, I'll call Lila.

Scene 3-Nikolas and Gina are in the hall at GH.

G: I have to go to my parents.

N: Where's that?

G: They live in California.

N: For how long?

G: I'm not sure. My mother's sick. It's bad.

Nikolas hugs Gina.

N: I'm sorry.

G: I'll miss you.

N: I'll miss you, too. When do you have to go?

G: Tonight.

Scene 4-Jason and Sonny are at Luke's.

J: Brenda ok?

S: Yeah, she's fine. I need you to make a run to Canada.

J: Ok.

S: Robin'll be ok?

J: Yeah, I've got Pete covering Jake's.

S: Good. Well, get going.

Scene 5-Lila is in the living room, when Edward comes in.

E: Oh, those damn reporters! I should have told A.J. to take that Carly

person somewhere else.

L: Edward, everything's going to be alright.

E: Really? Why are you in such a cheery mood?

L: I just received a call from Nicole, it seems that Ned has persuaded

our great grand daughter to move in with us.

E: Oh, really?

L: Yes, Edward, now if you'll excuse me, I need to talk to Reginald

about getting a room set up for her.

Lila wheels out. Edward goes to the window and looks out. Monica comes

in, not noticing Edward. She goes to the bar and pours a drink. Edward

turns and sees her.

E: Rough day?

M: (Startled.) Oh, Edward.

E: Are you ok?

M: (Puts on an act.) Yes, I'm fine.

E: (Looks at her close.) Don't lie to me.

M: (Slams her drink down.) Edward! I'm fine!

Alan comes in.

A: Father, please, leave her alone.

Scene 6-Luke and Laura are in bed.

Luke: So, they think Amy's going to be ok?

Laura: They're not sure, yet. They're bringing in a specialist.

Luke: Good. Babe, will you tell me where you were after the service?

Scene 7-Nikolas and Gina are in the hall at GH.

N: Tonight?

G: I have to be at the airport in an hour.

N: Well, I guess this is goodbye.

G: (Crying.) Yes. Nikolas, don't forget that I love you.

N: (Tries to cover up his crying.) I won't.

They hug, then break. Gina looks into his eyes and holds his face and

kisses him.

G: Goodbye.

Gina walks off. Nikolas stares as she leaves. Stefan's lurking in the

Scene 8-Robin is at Jason's, studying, she looks at the clock.

R: Where are you Jason? (Picks up the phone and dials.) Sonny, where's

Jason?

Sonny: Don't worry, he's ok. He won't be back 'til tomorrow. Is Pete

outside your door?

Robin looks through the peep hole.

R: Yeah, Sonny, is there something wrong?

S: No, nothing. Don't worry. (They hang up.) They're not after you.

They're after me.

Brenda enters.

B: Talking to yourself?

S: Yeah, um, what do you say we get a room at the PC Hotel.

B: Really?

S: Yeah, I'm getting sick of sleeping on the floor.

B: Hey Luke's couch is no picnic either. But, will we be safe?

S: I'll have it guarded like a fortress.

Scene 9-At the Quartermaine mansion, Monica, Alan and Edward are in the

living room.

E: I will not be told what to do in my own house.

M: It's my house!

A: I bought it for you.

A.J. walks in.

A.J.: How many times have I heard you three saying those same things?

Must be hundreds. It's like a broken record.

E: Did you come in here for some reason?

A.J.: Yes, but not to talk to you.

E: Well, then, maybe I should leave.

M: Brilliant idea, Edward.

Edward leaves.

A: Who did you want to talk to A.J.?

A.J.: You two. Dr. Webber called and wanted you guys to know that Amy's

awake.

M: That's good.

A.J.: He said that she can hear, but doesn't have the ability to speak.

Scene 10-Luke and Laura are in bed.

Laura: Luke, you're not going to like this.

Luke: I hate when a conversation starts off like this.

Laura: I stayed back at the church and Stefan came.

Luke: And what did he do?

Laura: He told me that he knew Tony, Bobbie and Lucas were alive.

Luke: How?

Laura: I don't know. And then, he kept on telling me he would never kill

anyone.

Luke: Well, that's a load of bull! He almost killed Katherine Bell.

Laura: Do you think he'll find them? Are they in danger?

Luke: I don't know.
