Part 124

Scene 1-The next day, Karen walks in the on-call room, where all of the

other interns are. Karen puts a pretty blue dress in her locker.

Eve: (Whistles.) Nice dress. Got a hot date?

K: Actually, it's for a wedding I'm going to be in tonight.

Jake: Oh, who's getting married?

K: Two old friends of mine.

Dr. Boardman comes in.

B: Hello folks. It seems as though Dr. Winters had to leave on some sort

of personal emergency, so Dr. Rick Webber has agreed to take a group

today. So, come on, we don't want to keep the patients waiting.

Dr. Boardman leaves.

Chris: Yes, sir.

Chris leaves.

Jake: Well, I was hoping we were swapping surgeons.

Matt: No such luck.

Eve, Jake, and Matt leave.

Joe: I wonder where Dr. Quartermaine is.

Julie: He isn't coming to rounds today. Something about his daughter.

K: She just got out of the hospital last night.

Julie: Well, I think I better go and see what Dr. Webber is like.

Julie leaves.

Joe: So, who's wedding are you going to be in?

K: Jason Morgan and Robin Scorpio's.

Scene 2-Dara's her office, Garcia strolls in.

G: Hello Ms. Jenson. Do you have the day off or something?

D: Actually, I'm supposed to be in court in the Caroline Benson case,

but she had to go to the hospital last night. Is there something I could

do for you?

G: Yes, actually there is. It seems that the ballistics reports have

been sealed off in the Benson case. I was hoping to further investigate

the murder. I would like to request that I be allowed to examine them.

D: Ok. (Hands him a stack of papers.) Here's the form, you'll have to

have Justus and Mac sign them.

Scene 3-Lila, Edward, Alan, Monica, A.J., Emily, Lois, Brooke, and

Nicole are having breakfast at the Quartermaine mansion.

Lila: It's such a lovely day, isn't it?

Edward grumbles.

Lois: Mrs. Q, I believe it is.

A.J.: Hey Em, you're moving around real good.

Emily: Yeah, and it's a good thing since I'm going to be in Jason's

wedding.

Edward grumbles more.

N: Plus, you have to show me around the school.

Emily: Yeah, you know what, we probably should be going.

Nicole and Emily head out.

Lois: Bye you two.

Lila: Have a good day. (They leave.) Alan, Monica, you two are certainly

quiet.

Alan: Well, I had anticipated Emily not starting back to school until

Monday.

M: You had?

Alan: Yes, that's why I didn't go into the hospital this morning.

A.J.: Dad, I think the reason she wanted to start back today is so she

could maybe get caught up.

Alan: I understand that, but what difference would missing one day make.

Edward: Alan, the girl needs to be in school.

M: He's right, Alan.

Alan looks disgusted that everyone's against him.

Edward: Now, unless you are planning on shipping he off to boarding

school, can we please change the subject. The team's first game is

October second, and being that we are all part owners of the team...

Lois: Me and Brooke excluded.

Edward: Yes. Well, I'd like for you to be there, too. I expect you all

to be present at the first game.

A.J.: Um, grandfather, don't you think you should notify the other

stockholders?

Edward: Scott, Lucy, and Jax have been notified. I just haven't been

able to get a hold of my CEO. Every time I call the hotel, he's out, and

every time I go to ELQ he's in a meeting.

Alan: Then why don't you do like you always do, and barge right on in.

Alan leaves.

Edward: What's his problem?

M: Edward, have you ever thought maybe your his problem.

Edward: Excuse me?

Monica leaves.

Lois: Mr. Q, I have a feeling there's something wrong between the two of

them.

Edward: Well, what the devil is it?

Scene 4-Alexis and Jeff are at Jeff's hotel room.

J: Ok, are you talking about an apartment or a house?

A: I was thinking about a house, so after this school year, Jordan can

come here and live with us. That'd be great. Do you plan on going back

to medicine?

J: I was planning on going to GH and talking to Tom and Rick about just

that.

A: Good. I know you love surgery.

Scene 5-Luke, Laura, Lucky, Nikolas, and Lu at the Spencers.

Luke: Cowboy, did you get your best suit out for tonight?

Lucky: Yeah.

Laura: Lucky, you need to get to school.

Lucky ignores Laura.

Luke: Go!

Lucky runs out the door.

Laura: See what I mean Luke, he totally ignores me. I don't know what he

thought he was going to do that night that he snuck off.

Luke: Who knows?

Laura: I'm just glad Mike called us when he found him in your office.

N: I've got to go.

Luke: Where?

N: I'm enrolling in some classes at the University.

Nikolas leaves.

Luke: I marvel at that kid sometimes. I mean, a Spencer raised as a

Cassadine, it's truly amazing. Honey, if you'll excuse me I have to go.

Scene 6-Alan joins up with Rick, Joe, Karen, and Julie on rounds.

R: Hi Alan. I didn't think you were joining us today.

A: Plans changed. Where's Dr. Winters?

R: Some kind of emergency, she had to go to Kansas City. I'm filling in

today, but I'm going off to the Cardiologists' convention, so I don't

know who'll be here for the next few days with you guys. Ok, let's go

check on Serena Baldwin.

Scene 7-A.J., Lois, Brooke, Edward, and Lila are in the Quartermaine

living room.

A: Lois, you might want to take Brooke out of the room, this could be

explosive.

Reginald: I'll take her.

Lois: Thanks Reg.

Reginald takes Brooke.

E: What is it A.J.?

A: I think mom and dad's problem could be Rick Webber.

Scene 8-Garcia shows up at Justus' office.

J: Garcia, what can I do for you?

G: I need you to sign this so I can get a hold of the ballistics reports

in the Dorman murder case. I want to continue the investigation.

J: Sure, I'll sign it. I have no problem with that. (Signs.) Alex, be

sure to talk to Felicia, she found the key evidence, she probably knows

more than anyone.

G: I will. Thanks.

Scene 9-Luke, Sonny, and Jason are at Luke's.

L: Sonny, did you guys dump Cassadine?

S: Yeah, he had no clue what had been done. Did you find out what you

needed?

L: Yeah, after this wedding tonight, I'm headed to Kansas City. That's

where the mainframe that created the virus is, supposedly. So, Jase,

ready for the big night?

J: (Pacing.) Yeah, I guess so.

S: It's good we'll be standing up there with him.

Mike comes out from the back.

M: Me, too.

J: Yeah. It's just that Robin said she was going to write her own vows

and I don't know what to do.

S: Is there something you think would really express how you feel?

J: Yeah. But, I'm no good with words.

S: I guess the best man can help.

Part 125

Scene 1-Alexis is at the Port Charles Grill. Ned sees her and sits down.

N: Hi Ms. Davis.

A: Ned, by all means, feel free to sit.

N: How are you?

A: I'm doing great. Jeff and I have decided to get back together.

N: That's great.

A: What about you and Lois?

N: Right now, we're at a stalemate, but I'm hoping tonight that will

change.

A: How?

Scene 2-Jeff knocks on Rick's office door.

R: Come in.

Jeff goes in .

J: Hi.

R: Jeff, what are you doing here?

J: I want to work at my father's hospital.

Scene 3-Gail goes into Monica's office.

G: Monica.

M: Oh, Gail. What are you doing here?

G: I just saw you fly through the hall. Is something wrong?

M: Just the usual.

G: What is it?

Scene 4-Tom and Audrey are at the nurses station.

A: Tom, where did Angela go?

T: She said something about going to Kansas City to tie up a few loose

ends.

A: Oh.

T: Have you seen Stefan, cause I really need to call a board meeting and

the CEO should be there.

A: Actually, he said he was going to be in the library.

Scene 5-Robin and Brenda are at Sonny's.

B: (Excited.) So, are you excited?

R: Yes.

B: That's great. Sonny told me the two of you were going to be moving

into the penthouse diagonal from us. This is amazing, you know. I can't

believe you're getting married.

Scene 6-Ned and Alexis are at the Port Charles Grill.

N: It's a secret. A secret I'm going to unveil at my cousin's wedding.

A: Which one?

N: Jason's.

A: I read about that.

N: It seems to be the only news in town.

A: When an employee of an alleged mob boss marries the niece of the

Police Commissioner, there is reason to.

N: Yeah. Well, I better go before grandfather finds me.

Scene 7-Jeff and Rick are at Rick's office.

R: That would be great. There's an opening as Chief of Cardiology.

J: What about Monica?

R: She gave up the position.

J: Really, why?

R: Her family.

J: Monica, interested in family?

R: Things have changed.

Scene 8-Gail and Monica are at Monica's office.

M: It's complicated, but tonight after the wedding, I don't think I'm

going back to the house.

G: Where are you going to go?

M: I don't know. I've been asked to lecture at the Cardiologist

Convention, maybe I'll do that. Then, see what happens when I come back.

G: What about Emily?

M: She's lived in that house long enough to understand when things are

going wrong.

G: Do you feel this is the right thing?

M: Yes, I do.

Scene 9-Tom and Stefan are in the GH library.

S: Yes, Tom, a board meeting would be fine.

Jeff and Rick come in.

R: Excuse me, didn't mean to interrupt, but I have someone who I would

like to suggest to head up cardiology.

S: Jeff.

J: Stefan.

Scene 10-Jason is pacing around at Luke's. Mike is at the bar.

J: How does this sound Mike? Robin, I promise to be there for you, to

love you, to listen to you, to understand you and cherish you and our

life together.

M: That's great.

J: Are you sure?

M: Jason, it's perfect.

Scene 1-A.J. and Carly are at the Quartermaine mansion.

A: Are you going to be alright?

C: Yeah, I'll be fine.

A: Are you sure you want to go to this wedding?

C: Yes. Jason's a good friend of mine, I want to be there.

A: Ok. Well, I suggest you go get dressed, then.

C: Good idea. I don't think jeans and a T-shirt are the appropriate

attire for a wedding.

Scene 2-Jeff, Rick, Tom, and Stefan are at the library.

S: I'm surprised you're here.

J: Well, my wife and I have reconciled.

R: Wife?

J: Yes, I'm married to Alexis Davis.

Scene 3-Mac and Felicia are at Mac's. Mac is pacing.

F: God, the way you are pacing around, you'd think you were the one who

is getting married.

M: I'm giving Robin away.

F: Yes.

M: Felicia, do you think I did a good job with her?

F: You did a great job. Robert and Anna would be proud.

Scene 4-Monica and Alan are at Alan's office.

M: Alan, I've been asked to speak at the Cardiologists' Convention.

A: Yes?

M: I'm going to, which means I have to leave tonight after the wedding.

A: Have you told Emily or A.J.?

M: Not yet, I plan on telling them tonight.

Scene 5-Karen, Robin, Brenda, and Emily are in a room at Luke's. Robin

is in a simple white dress. The others are in blue dresses.

E: You look so beautiful.

R: So, do you three. Don't you know you're not supposed to show up the

bride?

B: There's no way we could do that.

K: She's right.

Karen thinks back to her wedding, while the others chat. The phone

rings.

B: Karen. (Doesn't hear.) Karen, it's for you. It sounds like Jagger.

Karen takes the phone.

Scene 6-Jeff, Rick, Stefan and Tom are at the library.

R: Well, I didn't know that.

J: Yes, but don't worry, Alexis has nothing to do with Stefan anymore.

S: Yes. Now, would you like to tell me exactly what you two want.

R: I'm here to suggest that you call a board meeting for sometime next

week to appoint Jeff as chief of cardiology.

S: Ok. Tom's already proposed we have a board meeting to discuss the

budget, so this should certainly fit on the agenda.

T: Rick, aren't you leaving town for two weeks?

R: Yes, but I think you can get everything set at the board meeting.

T: Sure. I guess we should set the board meeting for next Wednesday.

Scene 7-Robin, Karen, Brenda, Emily, Felicia, and Monica are in a room

at Luke's. Monica stares at Robin.

M: You look beautiful.

R: Thank you. (Monica hands her a box.) What is it?

M: It's from Lila, open it. (Robin opens it and finds a beautiful locket

in there.) She told me her mother gave it to her when she got married to

Edward.

B: That's amazing.

Robin opens the locket. There is a picture of Edward and Lila's first

wedding.

R: They look so young.

E: Grandfather, young? I don't believe that.

Robin hugs Monica.

M: I'd better leave so you can finish getting ready.

Monica heads out.

R: Thank you Monica.

M: (Turns back.) You're welcome. Oh, Emily, can I talk to you for a

second?

Emily and Monica walk out.

R: Felicia, Brenda, will you excuse me. I want to talk to Karen for a

second alone.

F: Sure.

Felicia and Brenda leave.

R: Karen, what was that call from Jagger about?

Scene 8-Emily and Monica are at Luke's back room.

M: Em, I'm going to have to leave town after the wedding. I've been

asked to lecture at a convention.

E: How long will you be gone?

M: I don't know.

E: There's something else, isn't there?

Scene 9-Karen and Robin are at Luke's in the office.

K: I don't want to ruin your wedding day.

R: Karen, you can tell me.

K: Things with Jagger aren't good. We're getting a divorce.

Brenda comes in.

B: Sorry to interrupt, but it's time.

Scene 10-At Luke's, Jason and Robin's wedding is about to begin. Mike,

Luke, Sonny and Jason are at the front. Guests: Left: Lucky, Lu,

Nikolas, A.J., Carly, Steve, Lila, Edward, and Ned. Right: (Mac's seat),

Felicia, Lois, Laura, Lucy, Kevin, Monica, Alan, and Justus. The wedding

march music begins to play. Emily, then Karen, then Brenda come down the

aisle. Finally, Mac walks Robin down the aisle, Jason looks at her and

smiles. Sonny digs in his pocket to find the ring he has to give Jason,

instead finds a note. The note reads: "Tonight is the night you die."

Part 127

Scene 1-Alexis and Jeff are at their hotel room.

J: So, they're going to have a board meeting to decide, but I think it

is a lock.

Alexis hugs Jeff.

A: That's great.

J: Yes, it is. Why don't we celebrate?

A: Ok, but Luke's is closed.

J: Ah, yes, the wedding. How about The Outback?

A: Sounds good.

Scene 2-Stefan's on the phone at the GH library.

S: What are you doing there?... You're what?... Ok, that sounds

alright... Do what you must.

Scene 3-Scott is at Serena's bedside at the hospital. Serena wakes.

Serena: Daddy, where's Lucy?

Scott: She and Kevin went to a wedding.

Serena: When do I get out of here?

Scott: I don't know. (Sees Joe walking by.) Let me see if he knows.

(Gets Joe.) Joe, do you know when my little girl is going to get out of

here?

J: Dr. Boardman said she'd be able to be released tomorrow.

Scene 4-Katherine is at the door of the Scanlons. She knocks and Julie

opens the door.

J: Can I help you?

K: Actually, I think we can help each other.

Scene 5-Jason and Robin's wedding.

Justice Of the Peace: Jason and Robin have written their own vow that

they would like to share. Jason.

Jason: (Nervous.) Robin, I promise to be there for you, to love you, to

listen to you, to understand you and to cherish you and our life

together. Because without you I am nothing.

JOP: Robin.

R: Jason, you have changed my world. I sometimes wonder what my life

would be like if I hadn't met Jason Morgan. But I can't, I can never

imagine my life without you. From the day you woke up, we've shared

something special, that will last forever.

JOP: And now the rings. (Sonny and Brenda hand Jason and Robin the

rings.) Place them on each others' fingers. (Robin slips his on easy.

Jason has difficulty getting Robin's on, but eventually does.) With the

power vested in me, from the great state of New York, I pronounce you

man and wife. You may kiss the bride.

The kiss is a long and slow kiss, as the guests applaud.

Scene 6-Alexis and Jeff go into The Outback and find Stefan there.

J: What are you doing here?

S: I was going to have dinner.

A: Here?

S: Yes, do you have a problem with that?

A: Actually, yes.

Scene 7-Serena, Scott, and Joe are at Serena's room.

J: So, Serena, how are you?

Serena: Good.

J: You probably don't remember me. I'm a doctor friend of Karen's.

Serena: You're Joe. Daddy, where's Karen?

Scott: She's at that wedding Lucy and Kevin went to. In fact, she was in

the wedding.

Serena: Wow! I can't wait to grow up and get married.

Scott: Woo, that's a long ways off.

J: (Laughs.) Yeah, I'm not even married.

Serena: How old are you?

J: Twenty-five.

Serena: So is Karen, and she's married.

Scene 8-Katherine and Julie are at the Scanlon house.

J: Come in.

K: I knew your mother.

J: You did?

K: Yes, we were friends for awhile.

J: Excuse me, what's your name?

K: Katherine Bell.

J: Katherine, I get the feeling that there's something about my mother

you would like to tell me.

K: Yes, it's about your father.

J: My father? I don't even know who my father is.

Scene 9-Rick and Lesley are at the penthouse.

R: Lesley, I'm going to miss you.

L: I'm going to miss you, too.

R: I'll be back in two weeks.

L: Oh honey, I love you.

They kiss.

R: Goodbye.

The door shuts.

Scene 10-After the wedding, Sonny's making a toast.

S: To Jason and Robin, may your life together be filled with happiness.

Everyone clinks their glasses.

Brenda: Ok, now, for the music. Presenting Eddie Maine and the Idle

Rich.

They play the song "The Only One I Love." Jason and Robin dance. Karen

thinks of Jagger, then Joe. Sonny and Brenda are in an embrace, watching

Jason and Robin dance. Lois is fixated on Ned. Emily and Lucky are off

in a corner. Monica drags A.J. and Carly into another corner. The rest

of the guests watch the band and the bride and groom dancing.

Scene 1-Alexis, Stefan, and Jeff are at The Outback.

A: Stefan, I'd really appreciate it if I didn't have to see you ever

again.

S: But your husband will be working for me.

J: Correction; I won't be working for you, I will be working for General

Hospital. You are merely CEO and that's just for now.

S: Oh, really? Well, so as not to upset Alexis further, I'll be on my

way.

Scene 2-Katherine and Julie are upstairs at the Scanlons.

K: Julie, I know who your father is.

J: Who?

Eve walks in.

K: Your father's Alan Quartermaine.

Scene 3-Monica, Carly, and A.J. are in a corner at Luke's.

M: Look, you two, I'm going to a convention and I'll be gone for a few

weeks.

A: Is that all you're going for?

M: Yes. Carly, I wanted to wish you good luck on the trial. (Monica

looks over at Lucky and Em.) AJ, would you keep an eye out on your

sister.

A.J. turns to see Emily and Lucky.

A: Yeah.

M: Goodbye A.J.

A: Goodbye mother.

Monica walks away.

C: A.J., is something wrong?

A: Yeah.

C: What is it?

Scene 4-At Luke's, Jason and Robin are dancing, there is not any music.

R: Jason, I think it's time to go.

J: You're ready?

R: Wait. Luke said he wanted to talk to me about something.

J: Yeah. He has a surprise for you.

Luke walks to Jason and Robin.

L: Is this the right time?

J: Yes.

R: Jason tells me you have a surprise. (Luke pulls out two tickets and

hands them to Robin. Mac and Felicia come over.) Two tickets to London?

L: There are two people there that are anxious to meet their new

son-in-law.

R: They're alive?

M: Yes. Sonny found them.

Scene 5-Lee and Scott are in with Serena. Lee is just finishing telling

Serena a fairy tale.

L: ...And they lived happily ever after. The end.

Serena: That was a great story grandpa, tell me another.

Scott looks out the window to the hall and sees Kevin and Lucy.

Scott: Serena, Kevin and Lucy are here. They can tell you all about the

wedding.

Kevin and Lucy come in.

K: Hi Serena.

Serena: Hi. Tell me about the wedding.

Scene 6-Katherine, Julie and Eve are at the Scanlons.

E: No wonder you got an internship at GH. (Julie and Katherine turn to

see Eve.) But it's funny because I thought you had a family like the

Brady Bunch, I don't think the Quartermaines are in that league.

J: Katherine, are you sure?

K: Yes.

J: Eve, I didn't know this. I was raised an only child. My mother never

told me who my father was, she said she couldn't because it would ruin

his family.

E: You're kidding, you didn't know?

J: No. I don't even know if he knows that I'm his daughter.

K: No, your mother never told him she was pregnant.

Scene 7-Monica walks to Lucky and Emily, who are making out. Monica

clears her throat, Emily and Lucky quickly stop.

E: Um, mom, is there something you wanted?

M: I just came to say goodbye. I'll see you in two weeks. (Hugs Emily.)

Be good.

E: Bye.

L: Goodbye Dr. Quartermaine.

Monica walks to Alan.

Scene 8-Carly and A.J. are in a corner of Luke's.

C: What is it?

A: My parents' marriage is about to crash and burn once again.

C: They seem to always make it through. I think it'll be alright.

A: I'm not sure. It seems different.

Scene 9-Jason and Robin stand at the door at Luke's.

R: Goodbye Lila, Edward.

J: Goodbye grandmother.

L: Goodbye my dear.

Lila and Edward leave.

R: Jason. I want to talk to Brenda and Karen before we leave. (Robin

walks to Karen.) Karen.

Karen: Robin, I heard you're going to London. Have fun.

R: I will. Karen, promise to call me if you need someone.

K: I will.

Karen and Robin hug. Karen cries. Robin goes to Brenda.

Brenda: I'm so happy for you, about everything.

R: Thanks.

B: Can I tell you a little secret?

R: Sure.

B: I'm pregnant.

Robin hugs Brenda.

R: That's terrific!

B: Thanks. You and Jason will have to come back here in about eight

months or so.

R: We will. We will.

B: I'm going to miss you.

They walk to the door, where Jason is. Alan and Monica are there.

Monica: Goodbye.

R: Bye.

Alan and Monica walk out.

Alan: I'll walk you to your car.

Scene 10-Jason, Robin, Brenda, Sonny, Luke, Laura, Karen, Mike, Nikolas,

Justus, Mac and Felicia walk outside. Steve, Carly, A.J., Emily, Lucky,

Ned and Lois are still inside. All of the sudden, a spray of bullets is

fired. Sonny falls. Jason throws Robin and Brenda down and covers them.

Luke falls. Justus grabs Laura and runs in. Mac does the same with

Felicia. Nikolas, Karen, and Mike fall. Alan and Monica hear the

commotion and turn to see everyone on the ground and blood everywhere.

Part 129

Scene 1-Inside Luke's; Steve, Carly, A.J., Emily, Lucky, Lu, Ned and

Lois are there. Justus drags Laura in. Mac and Felicia run in.

Lucky: What's happening?

Laura: Shooting.

Lucky: Where's dad?

Justus: Luke's out there.

Lucky runs to the door. Mac stops him.

Scene 2-Outside, the shooting stops. Jason gets up and looks around.

J: Ok, it's clear.

Robin: Brenda, are you ok?

Brenda: Yeah. Sonny? (Looks at him, she cries hysterically.) Sonny!

There is blood all over. Alan and Monica come running up. Karen gets up,

there is a wound at her shoulder. Karen goes to Sonny and starts tending

to him. Mike and Nikolas sit up.

Alan: Karen, let us take care of it. You've been hit.

Jason: I'll call an ambulance.

Jason goes in. Nikolas and Mike look around.

Nikolas: Luke!

Monica hears Nikolas call out and sees Luke sprawled out bleeding.

Monica: (Going to him and kneeling.) Luke, can you hear me?

Scene 3-Katherine, Julie, and Eve are at the Scanlons.

K: I'm sorry. I have to go.

J: Um, thank you, Katherine.

Katherine leaves.

E: Well, if I were you I'd say a big thank you. The Quartermaines,

that's a lot of loot. (Both Julie and Eve's beepers go off.) Must be an

emergency.

Scene 4-Jason, Brenda, Robin, Mac, Felicia, A.J., Carly, Emily, Lucky,

Lois, Ned, Justus, Laura, and Lu are inside Luke's.

N: Jason, what's going on?

Jason: The shooting's stopped. Alan and Monica are out there, helping.

Sonny's bad. Luke, Karen, Mike, and Nikolas were hit, too.

Lucky runs out, Emily follows. Laura sits at a table and cries. Carly

goes to her and hugs her. Brenda is hysterically crying. Lois goes to

her and puts her arms around her.

Scene 5-Frank and some other paramedics arrive outside of Luke's.

F: Oh boy, we've got multiple injuries. Drs. Quartermaine.

Alan: (Points to Sonny.) He need to get to the hospital ASAP. It's

severe.

F: (Get Sonny in the ambulance. Karen jumps in trying to care for him.

Alan gets in.) Karen. We're going to have to treat you.

Another medic takes Luke to an ambulance. Monica follows, Lucky starts

to follow.

Monica: (To Lucky.) No, your mother needs you. (To another medic.) Those

two (Pointing at Mike and Nikolas.) also need assistance.

Emily: Oh my god! Nikolas! (Runs to Nikolas. The two ambulances carrying

Karen, Sonny, Alan, Monica, and Luke leave. The medics get to Mike and

Nikolas.) Are you ok?

Nikolas: Yeah. (Grunts in pain.) I promise you I'll be fine.

Mike: Where's Sonny?

Lucky: They took him to the hospital.

Mike: Is he going to be alright?

There is silence. The medics close the doors and drive off.

Lucky: This isn't good. Em, we should get inside.

Emily and Lucky walk in.

Scene 6-Jax's working on some paper work and has the TV on.

Scorpio, were married at Luke's, a blues club, owned by Luke Spencer and

Mr. Corinthos. As the two newlyweds were preparing to leave, a barrage

of bullets sprayed outside of the club where Mr. Corinthos' late wife

Lily Rivera-Corinthos was killed by a car bomb last year. There were at

least 5 injured taken to General Hospital. One of the injured had been

identified as Mr. Corinthos. We'll have more as information when it

becomes available.<

J: Oh my God. Brenda.

Jax runs to Julia's room and knocks on the door. Julia opens it.

Julia: What is it?

J: We need to get to GH.

Scene 7-Eve, Julie, Chris, Matt, Jake, Joe, Dr. Boardman, and Ellen are

at the nurses station at the ER.

B: Ok folks. We have multiple patients with bullet wounds coming. Both

of the Quartermaines were on the scene. They're in with the most severe

case. Dr. Morris, I want you to join them.

Ellen: Dr. Ramsey and Dr. Lambert you'll come with me.

B: Dr. Harmon you have the patient in cubicle two. Marshak, three.

Scanlon, you'll be tending to the young lady in cubicle four.

The group splits off. Matt, Jake, and Joe go together.

Joe: I wonder where Karen is. (They come to cubicle four first, Joe goes

in.) Karen!

Scene 8-Ned, Carly, A.J., Emily, Lucky, Laura, Mac, Felicia, Brenda,

Robin, Jason, Lois, Justus, and Lu are at the waiting room. All of them

are quiet almost like a vigil. Ruby comes in.

Ruby: Laura, is he alright? Is he going to be alright?

Laura: I don't know.

Rhonda runs to the nurses station, where Audrey and Mary are.

Rhonda: (Out of breath.) Mary, I got a call, Karen was brought in. Where

is she? Can I see her?

Frank walks by.

F: Ms. Wexler.

Rhonda: Frank.

F: Joe's in there with her right now. She's going to be alright.

Rhonda: What happened?

F: She was shot in the shoulder.

Scene 9-Alan, Monica, and Julie are in with Sonny.

M: He's stabilized. But we're going to have to operate soon.

J: I'll go tell his girlfriend.

A: I better go, too.

Julie and Alan leave.

S: (Faint.) Brenda. Where's Brenda?

M: Sonny. It's Monica Quartermaine. Brenda's in the waiting room. We're

going to have to operate soon.

S: I want to see her.

Scene 10-Alan, Julie, and Brenda are in a corner of the waiting room.

B: Is he going to be alright?

A: There's a chance he won't make it.

B: I have to see him.

Jax and Julia come running in and are relieved to see Brenda's alright.

Julia hugs Brenda.

Julia: How's Sonny?

B: Not good.

Monica comes out.

M: Brenda, he wants to see you.
