Part 130

Scene 1-Brenda goes in to see Sonny.

S: (Weak.) Brenda, I love you. After the wedding, I was going to

propose. (Brenda cries.) Tell Jason to call the Justice of the Peace.

That is, if you'll marry me.

B: Yes. (Grabs Sonny's hand.) I love you Sonny. There's something I've

got to tell you.

S: What?

B: I'm pregnant.

Sonny grins in some pain.

S: I love you.

Scene 2-Chris, Eve, and Ellen go to the waiting room.

Ellen: Mrs. Spencer.

Laura runs up to Ellen. Lucky and Emily follow.

Laura: Yes, is it my husband or my son?

Ellen: Your husband's going to be alright. He'll have to be moved to

ICU, but everything looks good.

Laura: What about my son?

C: What's your son's name? I'll go check on him.

Laura: Nikolas.

Ellen and Chris leave.

Emily: It's good news.

Emily and Lucky hug.

Scene 3-Matt has just taken the bullet out of Mike.

Matt: Ok. Dr. Quartermaine said she wanted to check you out before we

set you up with a room.

Mike: A room?

Matt: You'll have to stay over night.

Mike: How's my son?

Monica comes in.

Matt: Maybe Dr. Quartermaine can answer that question.

Monica: Hi Mike. I guess I missed my chance at saving your life, again.

Mike: Yeah. How's Sonny?

Scene 4-Jake comes out of Nikolas' cubicle. Alan walks by and looks at

the chart, it reads "Nikolas Spencer."

A: Dr. Marshak, there's something wrong here.

J: What is it Dr. Quartermaine?

A: This chart says Spencer, it should read Nikolas Cassadine.

J: He told me his last name was Spencer.

A: Oh. I'll discuss this with the patient.

Scene 5-Joe is bandaging Karen's wound.

J: Alright, you're going to be ok.

K: Thanks. But, I don't think I'll ever be alright.

J: Is there something else?

K: Besides the fact that a man I was once involved with could die. Yeah,

there is something else. It's about Jagger.

J: What is it?

Frank and Rhonda come in.

F: Here you are Ms. Wexler.

R: Oh good. (Runs to Karen.) Sweetie, are you ok?

Scene 6-Trisha Yearwood's version of "How Do I Live" plays. The Justice

of the Peace has arrived. In Sonny's hospital room; Sonny, Brenda, Mike,

Robin, Jason, Julia, Lois, and Ned. Sonny has an oxygen mask on. Brenda

stands by the bed, crying. Mike is sitting next to Brenda. Lois, Ned,

and Julia are behind Brenda. Jason and Robin are on the other side of

Sonny, holding each other. As the song plays, you see Sonny and Brenda

say their I do's.

Once it is over, Monica, Alan, and Julie come in. They wheel Sonny out

as Brenda walks along until they hit the OR door.

B: I love you.

S: (Faint.) Goodbye.

Robin and Lois go to Brenda and hug her.

Scene 7-Lucky and Laura go in and visit Luke, who is awake.

Luke: Hey. What happened?

Lucky: You were shot.

Luke: Yeah, I know that. Who else was?

Lucky: Karen, Mike, Nikolas, and Sonny.

Luke: How is he?

Lucky: Sonny?

Luke: Yeah and Nik.

Lucky: Nikolas will be fine.

Laura: Sonny doesn't look good.

Lucky: Brenda told him that she's pregnant. They got married. Then, they

wheeled him into surgery.

Luke: Who's his doctor?

Lucky: Monica.

Luke: That's good. Hey, um, where's my doc? I've got a splitting

headache. I must have hit my head or something.

Lucky: I'll go see where she is.

Lucky leaves.

Laura: (Holds Luke's hand.) I was so afraid I was going to lose you.

Luke: Never.

Laura: Good. (Luke's eyes start to roll back in his head.) Luke! Luke!

(Runs to the hall.) Somebody help!

Scene 8-Emily visits Nikolas in his hospital room.

E: I saw the name Spencer out there. Now everybody knows?

N: Yeah.

E: Do you think there will be any fallout because of it?

N: I don't know. I'm beginning to think that after all those years that

I lived with the Cassadines, I never really knew them at all.

Scene 9-Carly and A.J. are in the waiting room.

C: You heard what the doctor just said?

A: Something about a cerebral hematoma, or something like that.

C: She was talking about Luke.

A: He's going to be alright. He's a Spencer.

C: That's brain surgery, though.

A: Yeah, but there are plenty of competent neurosurgeons.

Angela comes in and goes to the nurses station.

Angela: Audrey, I got a page about a cerebral hematoma.

Audrey: Yes, they're prepping Luke Spencer for surgery right now.

Angela: Ok, thanks.

Stefan wonders in and pulls Angela to the side.

S: How did it go?

Angela: Good. Now, I have to get to the OR.

Angela heads to OR.

S: Yes, Luke Spencer.

Scene 10-Karen, Joe, Frank, and Rhonda are in an ER cubicle.

F: Joe, maybe we should leave these two alone.

Frank and Joe leave.

R: Are you ok?

K: No.

R: Wait, Frank and Joe said everything would be alright.

K: I'm not talking about my shoulder. I'm talking about my marriage.

Scott comes bursting in.

S: Are you ok?

Scene 1-At the Port Charles Hotel; Jeff is in bed watching the news.

Alexis is getting ready for bed. Alexis comes in and hears this.

>Veronica Bowles: Nikolas Spencer has been brought into the emergency

room at General Hospital. It appears as though he was shot, while

attending the wedding of Jason Morgan and Robin Scorpio. It has been

discovered that Nikolas is not the son of the late Stavros Cassadine,

he's actually the son of Luke Spencer.<

Alexis turns the TV off.

A: I have to see him.

Scene 2-Kevin and Lucy are in with Serena.

S: You think Karen is going to be alright?

L: Yeah, she is.

S: I hope so. She hasn't gotten to see Sigmund.

K: You're right. You think she would like that?

S: Yeah, she would.

Scene 3-Mac and Felicia are at the Brownstone.

F: I can't believe that happened.

M: Neither can I. Tomorrow, I have to get Garcia out there to

investigate.

F: Mac, I'm scared.

Mac takes her in his arms.

M: I know. But, it's going to be alright.

Scene 4-Emily goes to the waiting room, where she finds Lucky pacing.

E: What's wrong?

L: It's my dad.

E: I thought everything was alright.

L: It was. Then he went into some type of coma thing or something. I

don't know. It just isn't right. (With watery eyes, he runs his fingers

through his hair.) This just isn't right at all.

Emily grabs his hand and squeezes it tight. Laura comes to Lucky.

Laura: They just took him to surgery.

Scene 5-Carly and A.J. are at the Quartermaine mansion.

C: A.J., thanks for bringing me back.

A: I thought you might need your rest for court tomorrow.

C: You're right. And in the afternoon, I have an appointment with a rape

counselor.

Scene 6-Tom is in the observation room, watching Angela during Luke's

surgery.

T: Amazing. (Goes to waiting room.) Looks like it's going to be alright.

Laura: Thank you Tom.

T: Laura, is there anything else I can do?

Laura: Tell Amy and call my mother.

T: Sure, I'd be glad to.

Scene 7-Scott, Rhonda, and Karen are in a ER cubicle.

K: Physically, yes, I'm ok. Mentally, no.

R: She was about to tell me something about Jagger.

S: What is it?

K: He wants a divorce.

Scene 8-Alexis and Jeff visit Nikolas.

N: Alexis, what are you doing here?

A: No matter which you are, Cassadine or Spencer, I love you.

Nikolas puts out his arm to her. She takes his hand and grabs it.

N: So, who is this?

J: I'm her husband.

N: Husband?

Scene 9-Brenda is pacing around the waiting room. Julia, Jax, Lois, Ned,

and Robin follow her with their eyes.

B: He's gotta be alright! He's just got to be alright. He's my life.

Lois gets up and stops Brenda's pacing.

L: Honey. They should be done soon. They'll come out and tell you.

N: Brenda, it's going to be alright.

B: I hope so.

Scene 10-Jason comes out to join the rest of the group.

J: Monica's on her way out.

Brenda: Could you tell? Did it look like things were alright?

J: No, I couldn't.

Monica and Alan come out, their faces are expressionless.

M: Brenda...

Part 132

Scene 1-Brenda, Julia, Jax, Ned, Lois, Robin, and Jason are waiting for

some kind of word on Sonny. Monica and Alan come out.

M: Brenda...

B: Monica, what is it? Is he ok? Is he going to be alright?

R: Calm down Brenda. (Puts her arms around Brenda.) Monica, did he make

it?

Scene 2-Jeff, Nikolas, and Alexis are in Nikolas' hospital room.

N: I never knew you were married.

A: I have been for a long time. It was never discussed in the family

because, well, it was the family. We also have a 10-year-old daughter

named Jordan.

N: That's great. You've moved out of Wyndemere?

A: Yes. Stefan and I had a disagreement. I don't know what's wrong with

him anymore. It's almost as if he's possessed by Helena.

N: You have that feeling, too?

J: Um, maybe I should go check and see how Luke and Sonny are.

Jeff leaves.

N: You know I'm Luke's son?

A: Yes, but I didn't know until Stefan told Katherine and me.

N: Do you have a problem with it?

A: No, I don't. I still love you.

Nikolas looks at her with a smile.

N: That's good.

Scene 3-Mac and Felicia are at the Brownstone, in a tight embrace. Mac

sets Felicia down on the couch. Felicia starts to unbutton his shirt.

M: I love you.

F: I love you.

They kiss, as he starts to caress her face. She takes his shirt. They

make love.

Scene 4-Lesley, Ruby, and Amy have joined Lucky, Laura, and Emily at the

waiting room. Tom comes out.

Laura: How does it look?

T: Good. Dr. Winters just finished up. Things look great.

Lesley hugs Laura. Then, Amy and Ruby hug Laura. Lucky and Emily sneak

off hand in hand. Jeff walks over.

J: Tom, good news?

Scene 5-Scott, Karen, Rhonda, Gail, Lee, Kevin, and Lucy are at Serena's

hospital room.

Serena: So, you're ok?

Karen: Yeah. I am. Hey kiddo, this is my mom.

R: Hi Serena, I'm Rhonda.

Serena: Hi Rhonda.

Kevin: How bad's the shoulder?

Karen: I'll be out of the surgical rotation awhile.

Lucy: What about the others?

Karen: Sonny's bad.

Lucy: Doc, maybe we should go check on Brenda.

Kevin: Yeah.

Lucy: Bye.

Kevin and Lucy leave.

Karen: Luke was taken in for brain surgery. I guess he hit his head.

Then, um, Nikolas Spencer was shot in the stomach.

Scott: Nikolas Spencer?

Karen: Luke and Laura's son.

G: Scott, it's a long story.

Karen: And then Sonny's father, Mike Corbin was also shot, but he's

going to be alright. So, when's Serena get out?

Scott: Joe said tomorrow.

Joe pops his head in the room.

J: Am I interrupting?

Scene 6-Brenda has Robin's arms around her. Jason, Lois, Ned, Julia,

Jax, Monica, and Alan are there.

M: Brenda, I'm sorry, there was too much damage. We couldn't save him.

B: No!

Jason looks down. Lois grabs hold of Ned. Robin holds on to Brenda who's

about to collapse. Julia walks to Brenda's side to hold her. Jax stands

there not knowing what to do.

Scene 7-Lucky and Emily are on the roof at GH.

L: I'm so glad things are looking good.

E: Me, too. (Lucky takes off his jacket and puts it on her.) Thank you.

L: (Looks across city.) It's beautiful up here. (Looks deep in her

eyes.) Your eyes are beautiful, too.

He takes his hand to her face, to caress it. He starts to kiss Emily

wildly. Emily's mind wonders to that night she and Matt met up on that

very roof to do drugs. She continues to see Matt falling off the ledge

in her mind. It all becomes too much.

E: Stop.

Lucky looks at Emily's face, he can see the fear.

L: Em, what's wrong?

Scene 8-Lesley, Ruby, Amy, Laura, Tom, and Jeff are in the waiting room.

T: Luke's going to be alright.

J: That's great. Does anyone know how Sonny is?

Laura: No.

T: Actually, I was going to go check on that.

Scene 9-Brenda, Lois, Ned, Jax, Julia, Robin, and Jason are in the

waiting room, after finding out about Sonny's death. Alan and Monica

walk off. Tom, Jeff, and Laura come over. They all see what is going on.

Laura goes to Jax, who is standing alone.

Laura: He didn't make it, did he?

Jax: No.

Scene 10-Monica walks to the stairwell. Alan watches and almost follows,

but he sees Dr. Boardman and stops to talk. Monica makes her way to the

roof. She looks out into the night sky, takes a deep breath and starts

to head back in, but she hears crying. She looks around.

M: Is someone up here? (Finds Emily and Lucky sitting on the corner of

the roof, just inside the ledge, using it as a back rest. Emily's crying

on Lucky's shoulder.) What's wrong?

L: (Trying to almost talk around Emily.) We came up here to get away...

And I think it brought back some bad memories.

Monica looks at Emily and remembers the same night, seeing Emily on the

ledge about to jump.

M: (Kneeling down to Emily.) Em, I think you and Lucky should go

downstairs. Brenda, Jason, and Robin might be able to use your support.

E: (Crying.) Why? What happened?

M: Sonny didn't make it through surgery.

L: (On verge of tears.) He's dead?

Part 133

Scene 1-The next morning, breakfast at the Quartermaine mansion. Carly,

A.J., Nicole, Lila, and Edward are eating. Edward is reading the Port

Charles Herald.

E: Why in God's name would Brenda be having a service for Sonny already,

he just died last night.

L: Her sister Julia said she was leaving the country for awhile with

Robin and Jason to figure things out.

E: Can someone explain why she married the crook?

N: Maybe she loved him?

E: (Laughs.) I'm sure there's more to it than that. Oh well, it's just

as well for Brenda that Sonny's dead. He only meant trouble for her.

Ned and Lois enter.

A: Ned!

Ned: Junior.

Nicole: What are you doing here?

Lila: Have you two made up?

Ned: Yes. With Sonny's death, Lois and I both realized that life is too

short and too precious to be apart from each other.

A: (Sarcastic.) How touching. I wonder where Justus is.

Scene 2-Joe and Karen are seated at a table at The Recovery Room.

J: So, are you ok about Sonny?

K: Yeah, I am. Um, Joe, I have to tell you something about Jagger.

J: What is it?

K: He wants a divorce.

J: Uh, so what are you going to do?

Scene 3-Mac, Garcia, and Felicia are at Mac's office at the police

station.

M: Alex, I want you to comb every inch of ground within a mile of

Luke's.

F: You should also try to find Sonny's bodyguards, they seem to be among

the missing.

G: Ok. Seems like an awful lot of work to catch someone who did us a

favor.

M: Garcia, I don't want hear this. Whoever this was not only killing

Sonny. He harmed a lot of innocent people. My niece and her husband

could've been killed. I want to catch the bastard who did this and make

him pay.

G: Yes sir.

M: That's why I've promoted Johnson to detective.

G: Ricky Johnson?!?

M: No. Darrell Johnson, he's a good guy. I think the two of you might be

able to come up with something.

Scene 4-Carly and A.J. are at the municipal building outside the

courtroom.

A: Where could Justus be?

Justus comes running in.

J: I'm sorry I'm late. I was just reading the paper about Sonny's murder

and how Mac hopes this is handled better than the Damian Smith case.

A: Uh, yeah. Well, we probably should go in. (They walk in a full room.

Dara's seated up front. There's one person that stands out, Stefan.)

What's he doing here?

C: Good question.

Scene 5-At the General Hospital chapel, they are having a service for

Sonny. 1st row: Brenda, Robin, Jason, and Mike (In wheel chair.), 2nd

row: Julia, Lois, and Ned, 3rd row: Luke (Wheel chair, bandaged head.),

Laura, Lucky, and Emily, 4th row: Mac, Felicia, Lucy, and Kevin, 5th

row: Jax, Karen. Robin speaks first.

R: When I first met Sonny, all I thought was, "He's a criminal." But

over time, that statement was soon erased from my mind. I got to know

the man beyond what the outside world saw. He was a caring man. It

wasn't just power and money that motivated that care. It was love. He

took a homeless boy and gave him a home, a life, and a chance. He loved

him like a brother. He took a man, who felt he had no purpose, and he

taught that man about life, and gave him a purpose. I loved Sonny. He

was my friend and I will always carry his memory in my heart.

Robin immediately takes her seat. Luke begins to speak from his wheel

chair.

Luke: Sonny. (Eyes watery.) He was a true friend. He was loyal, I could

always count on him for backup. He always did what he thought was right,

even when he was wrong. (Laughs.) Sonny, he was one of the best friends

I've ever had. And I'll miss him.

Mike begins to speak from his wheel chair.

Mike: My son wasn't everybody's favorite person, but he was mine. I came

to Port Charles to make amends with him for leaving and I'm glad that we

were able to progress in our relationship. I'm glad we could be in the

same room with each other. We were closer than we had been in years. I

just wish I would've been given the chance to tell him how much I really

loved him. But I think he knew that. His and Brenda's child will

constantly be reminded of that love and the love that Sonny and Brenda

shared. I will make sure of that, because I want my grandchild to grow

up knowing how much they are loved.

It is quiet. Ned starts singing "Amazing Grace." Everyone joins. It

ends, quietly. Everyone leaves, except for Brenda and Jax. Brenda turns

to see Jax standing at the back.

B: Thanks for being here. It means a lot.

Brenda hugs Jax.

Jax: I'll leave you alone.

B: Thank you. (He leaves. Brenda goes to the front where Sonny's body is

in the casket. She touches Sonny's cheek and cries.) I love you and

promise to take good care of our child.

Brenda kisses Sonny's cheek and slowly walks out.

Scene 6-In court, Justus, A.J., Carly, Stefan, and Dara are present.

Judge: Mr. Ward, your next witness.

J: I call Ms. Caroline Benson to the stand.

Carly walks up slowly and sits.

Scene 7-Joe and Karen are in the on-call room.

J: What're you going to do Karen?

K: I keep thinking about it. Even during the service, I thought about it

and there's only one answer. (Eve opens the door slightly.) I'm getting

a divorce.

Scene 8-Mac has another man with him and he walks to Garcia.

M: Garcia, this is your new partner, Darrell Johnson.

Darrell: Hello Alex. Long time, no see.

M: You know each other?

Scene 9-Carly is on the witness stand.

Justus: What was your relationship to Dr. Dorman?

C: I wouldn't exactly say we had one.

J: Did you work together?

C: We both worked at General Hospital, and I knew of him because of his

trial against Monica Quartermaine. We both also worked at Mercy. We

occasionally talked because he would send some of his patients to me for

physical therapy.

J: Your relationship was nothing more?

C: No.

J: Ok, Ms. Benson. Now, we are going to have to go through the events of

the night you were raped.

Scene 10-Ned, Lois, Brenda, Jason, Robin, Mac, Felicia, Kevin, Lucy,

Jax, Julia, Mike, Emily, and Lucky are all in the GH waiting area.

Mike: (Tears in his eyes.) This is it. You're really leaving?

B: Mike, I have to. For now. There are too many reminders of Sonny.

Jason: Mike, we'll be back. We aren't leaving town for good. It's

temporary.

Mike: You'll be back before the baby's born?

R: Mike, we promise you that.

Lucy: Mike, Brenda can't be gone for too long. We have to work on the

Christmas campaign.

B: Yeah.

Brenda hugs Lucy.

E: Jason, I'll miss you.

Jason: I'm going to miss you, too. (Emily hugs him, she cries.) Hey

Emily, like I said, we won't be gone forever.

Lucky: I guess this goodbye for now then.

Lucky and Jason shake hands.

Lois: Bren, you call me everyday.

B: I will.

Julia: I expect the same little sister.

B: I will Julia. (Hugs her.) I love you.

Robin, Jason, and Brenda walk out. Everyone is standing there with

tears.

Part 134

Scene 1-In court; Carly, A.J., Justus, Dara, and Stefan are there.

Justus questions Carly.

J: Ms. Benson, can you please go back through the events of the night

you were raped?

C: (Slow.) Yes. I-I was in the cafeteria at Mercy. Dr. Dorman came to me

and said he wanted to talk to me. Then, he grabbed me by the arm... He

took me to his office... threw me to the floor... locked the door... he

unzipped his pants... and he... he um... (Crying.) he raped me.

J: Now, I know this is painful. But, I would like to fast forward to the

night that Pierce Dorman was killed.

C: Yes.

Judge: Mr. Ward, maybe we should take a five minute recess.

J: Yes, that would be a good idea.

Scene 2-Joe and Karen are in the on-call room. Eve has the door slightly

opened, listening.

J: Are you going to be ok?

K: I don't know.

Joe hugs Karen. Eve comes in. Joe and Karen break from their hug.

E: Sorry to interrupt.

J: Sure.

Chris and Julie come in.

C: Hello.

E: Oh wonderful. Um, Julie, how are you after yesterday?

Julie: I'm ok, I guess.

Joe: What happened yesterday?

K: You were the intern there during Sonny's surgery, weren't you?

Julie: Yes.

Frank comes in.

F: Julie, can I talk to you?

Scene 3-Steve goes into Nikolas' hospital room.

S: Hey cousin. How're you doing?

N: I'm ok.

S: Gina should be here. Man, I'm sorry, but she should.

N: Yeah. Well, I get out of here today. Have you seen Rick? I haven't

seen him for awhile. Is he out of town?

S: He went to a cardiologist's convention in Florida. He'll be gone for

two weeks.

Scene 4-Katherine and Rex meet in the park.

R: You told Dr. Morris and her beau our little fabrication?

K: Yes, but I'd like to know what this is all about?

R: All in good time, niece.

Scene 5-Amy and Paul at the nurses station.

P: Are you glad to be back at work?

A: Yeah. Nervous about tonight?

P: Yeah, first game of the season has that effect. Not to mention all

the Quartermaines and ELQ board members are going to be there.

Monica walks by.

A: Speaking of the devil. Uh, Monica.

M: (Turns to her.) Yes?

A: I thought you were going to a convention.

M: My plans changed.

Monica leaves.

P: Well... Ms. Vining, what do you say we go out after the game?

A: I'd love to.

P: Ok, I'll see you tonight. I have to get to practice.

Scene 6-In court, Justus questions Carly. Stefan and A.J. are there.

J: Ok, Ms. Benson. Let's go through the events the night Pierce Dorman

was killed.

C: I was in the hospital, General Hospital. The events of the rape ran

through my mind. I was frustrated and went for a walk. On the walk, I

was passing a dumpster and I saw a gun lying there. I picked it up with

a handkerchief and I went to Dorman's.

J: How'd you know where he lived?

C: During his trial against Dr. Quartermaine, the papers had given his

address. I guess to clarify exactly who he was. The address was an odd

one, it stuck out in my mind.

J: Ok, continue.

C: I went to his door, it was opened a crack. I went in. He was sitting

on his bed, the lights were out. I closed my eyes and I fired.

Scene 7-Frank and Julie are in the hall at GH.

J: What is it?

F: Some woman came to me. She was looking for you. She said it was about

your father.

J: Katherine Bell?

F: Yes. Anyway, I pried. Is it true?

J: As far as I know, yes. Frank, I didn't know.

F: What're you going to do about it?

Scene 8-Chris and Eve are in a corner of the on-call room.

C: There was more to that comment you made to Julie, wasn't there?

E: What on earth do you mean?

C: There was more to it than losing her first patient.

E: Maybe, maybe not.

Scene 9-Monica and Alan are in the hall at GH.

A: You decided not to go to the convention?

M: Yes.

A: Are you ok?

M: Yeah, I guess. (Frustrated.) I just hate losing patients.

A: I know.

Alan puts his arms around her.

M: (Looking up at him.) Thanks.

A: Hey, what do you say we go to that hockey game tonight and enjoy

ourselves.

M: I think that would be great.

A: Good. I've arranged for a private box, separate from the ELQ box.

M: That sounds great.

Scene 10-Joe and Karen are in the on-call room.

J: Karen, are you free tonight?

J: How would you like to go somewhere and forget your problems and just

have a good time?

K: That'd be great.

J: Ok. The hockey season starts tonight, I know a few guys on the team,

I can get tickets from them.

K: (Laughs.) I'll do you one better. The ELQ box.

J: How?

K: My father has some stock in ELQ.

J: Well, this sounds even better.

Scene 1-At the Quartermaine mansion, Emily and Lucky are in the hall.

E: Boy, a lot of things have happened in just a few days time.

L: Yeah.

The doorbell rings. Emily opens it to Steve.

S: Hey. Hi Lucky, how's your dad?

L: He's doing good.

E: What're you doing here?

S: I wanted to know if you were going to this hockey game tonight.

E: Yeah, we are. Edward insisted on it.

S: Can I come along?

L: Sure. Cus, the more the merrier.

Scene 2-In court, Stefan is watching. Carly is seated with Justus,

awaiting the verdict. A.J. is behind them. The judge comes out.

Judge: Jury, have you reached a verdict?

Juror: Yes, we have your honor.

Scene 3-Nicole is in Lila's rose garden outside the Quartermaine

mansion, she is daydreaming about Lucky.

>Lucky throws Emily aside into a rose bush.

L: I don't know what I ever saw in her. Nicole, I have always loved you

deep down inside. My heart belongs to you.<

Nicole hears a faint voice and snaps out of the dream.

N: Steve, what're you doing here?

S: Getting myself invited to the hockey game tonight.

N: Oh really. I suppose the two lovebirds are going?

S: Yeah, and we're going with them.

N: What?

Scene 4-Laura goes into Nikolas' hospital room.

L: Ready?

N: Yes.

Amy comes running in.

A: Wait...you guys, there's a verdict.

Amy turns on the TV.

Scene 5-Jax and Julia are in Jax's office, Katherine comes in.

Jax: Ms. Bell, so nice of you to join us.

K: I'm sorry I'm so late. Rex had an emergency.

Julia: Everything's alright?

K: Yeah, it's fine.

Jax: Speaking of your uncle Rex, I'm thinking of doing a little business

with him.

K: Really?

Scene 6-Frank and Julie are in the hall at GH.

F: Are you going to tell Dr. Quartermaine?

J: I don't know. How're you supposed to tell someone something like

this. You can't just go up to them and say, "Hey, I'm your daughter."

F: That's probably not a good idea. Maybe you should set up an

appointment with him and tell him about your problem, not knowing your

father and all.

Scene 7-Emily and Lucky walk down by the lake at the Quartermaine

mansion.

L: You know I was only joking about the more the merrier stuff.

E: I know. But was I supposed to say no, you can't go? Anyways, we can

be alone after the hub bub. Oh, I invited Sly, too. Nicole will most

likely be there. I thought it would give them a chance to get to know

each other.

L: Why you sly little match maker. Em, promise me we'll have time alone.

Lucky takes his hand gently to her face, pushing the hair out of her

eyes.

E: Lucky, I promise. Just you and me.

Emily puts her arms around Lucky's waist. They kiss.

Scene 8-Amy, Laura and Nikolas are watching the TV in Nikolas' hospital

room.

Juror: We find the defendant Caroline Benson...

The TV goes fuzzy.

A: Damn! Why is it that the cable always goes out at the most

inopportune times?

Scene 9-Steve and Nicole are in Lila's rose garden.

S: Well, we're both going to the game with them. I have something for

Lucky and Emily.

N: What is it?

Scene 10-Jax, Julia, and Katherine are at Jax's office.

Jax: Yes. He has some operations in Hong Kong that my brother Jerry has

been interested in for several years.

K: He's going to sell?

Julia: Possibly.
