Scene 1-In court; Carly, Justus, A.J., Dara, and Stefan are there.

Juror: We find the defendant, Caroline Benson, not guilty.

Dara looks over to Justus and gives him a faint smile. Carly excitedly

turns to A.J. and hugs him. Out of the corner of her eyes, she sees

Stefan smirking.

Scene 2-Nikolas and Laura go into Luke's hospital room.

Luke: Hey. Justus just called.

N: The verdict?

Luke: Not guilty.

Laura: That's great. (Makes sure the door is closed.) Should we contact

Bobbie?

Luke: No, Jason's supposed to do that for me.

Laura: Ok. Well, we better get home to Lulu. I love you Luke.

N: I need to talk to Luke for awhile. Go ahead.

Laura leaves.

Luke: What is it?

N: I'm sorry about Sonny.

Luke: Thanks.

N: What exactly should I call you?

Luke: Dad, I guess. And while we're on the subject of names, Nikolas,

what do you think about Nick with a "c", it's more American.

N: Ok, as long as you don't call me Niky.

Luke: (Laughs.) Deal.

Luke searches through the drawer next to his bed.

N: What're you looking for?

Luke: My cigars. Ah, here they are.

N: Do you really think you should be smoking in the hospital?

Luke: No, that's why you're going to wheel me out front so I can smoke

it.

Scene 3-Julie goes to Alan's office.

A: Hello Dr. Morris. What can I do for you?

J: I'd like to schedule an appointment to talk to you about a personal

matter.

A: A personal matter? Does this have to do with the surgery on Sonny

Corinthos?

J: Um, yeah, sort of.

A: How about tomorrow afternoon?

J: That'd be great. Thanks.

Scene 4-Kevin and Lucy are at the lighthouse.

K: Lucy, do we really have to go to this game?

L: Yes, unless you want to hear Edward Quartermaine whine for the next

few weeks. Scott and Serena should be here soon. (The doorbell rings.)

Must be them.

Lucy opens the door.

Serena: Hi!

Scott, Karen, and Joe are standing behind her.

L: Well, it's the whole gang.

K: Um, yeah. I hope you don't mind.

L: No, not at all.

Scene 5-Mac, Felicia, Garcia, and Darrell Johnson are at Mac's office.

G: So, is Felicia going to be in on this investigation, too?

M: Yes, because she was able to find very crucial evidence in the Dorman

murder. Ok, so, what did you two find?

D: The place was clean.

G: We couldn't find anything.

F: What about Sonny's guards?

D: Floating in the harbor. This was a mob hit.

M: Wonderful.

Scene 6-Ned and Lois enter the Quartermaine mansion and walk into the

living room. Edward, Lila, A.J., Justus, and Carly are in there.

Lois: Good news I hear.

C: Yes.

E: I'm glad to see you've shown up. We probably should get going to

dinner. Emily and Nicole will meet us at the game with some of their

friends. The rest of the board will meet us there, too.

N: Good, because I'll have an announcement to make to them.

A: What?

N: You'll have to wait.

Scene 7-Katherine, Jax, and Julia are in Jax's office.

Jax: Well, let's call it a day.

K: Ok, well, I have to go.

Julia: Bye. (Katherine leaves. Joking.) I just love her to pieces.

Jax: (Laughs.) Well, Edward Quartermaine insists every ELQ board member

be present at the game tonight. So, that's where I'm headed, would you

please join me?

Julia: A night with the Quartermaines?

Jax: Yeah, come on. It'll be a hoot.

Julia: I guess. Sure, I will, besides I don't have anything else to do.

Scene 8-Jeff and Alexis are at their hotel room.

J: Ally.

A: Yes?

J: I found a house.

A: Where?

J: Charles Street. It's nothing magnificent, but it's nice for a family.

A: I'm familiar with the area. It's a nice neighborhood. The Ward family

did a lot to improve it. I'd love for Jordy to grow up like that and

have the life of a normal child.

J: We'll look at it tomorrow after the hospital board meeting.

A: Sounds great. (Kisses him.) I can't wait.

Scene 9-Carly is standing in the lobby at the Port Charles Grill,

thinking about how grateful she is that she got off on the Dorman

murder. Stefan comes in.

C: What do you want?

S: Beautiful performance, but I know about Pierce Dorman and you.

C: What?!?: I know you were plotting against General Hospital.

Stefan smiles and walks out, leaving a startled Carly. A.J. comes out.

A: Ready to go?

Scene 10-Laura and Nick are at the Spencers.

L: Nickolas, have any plans?

N: Actually, no, I think I'm just going to rest.

L: Are you sure? Lucky, Emily, and some other kids are going to a hockey

game, I'm sure they'd love for you to join them.

N: No, I'm fine. I'm just going to go upstairs.

L: Ok. (Nick goes upstairs.) Broken hearts...

10/14/97-Part 137

Scene 1-Karen, Joe, Scott, Kevin, Lucy, and Serena get inside the arena.

The Queen song "We Will Rock You" is playing. The place is full of

people and it's loud.

Karen: (Talking loud.) Serena, what do you think?

Serena: Cool!

J: Yeah, well, just wait 'til the game starts.

Frank and Julie come by.

Joe: Hey, I didn't know you guys were going to be here.

F: Yeah. I got tickets from Mr. Simmons, he's on the team. They're great

seats right down by the glass.

Julie: Where are you sitting?

Joe: ELQ box.

Scene 2-Edward, Lila, Ned and Lois are standing in a tunnel at the

arena.

Lois: Nervous?

N: No. I know the national anthem by heart. Actually, I take that back,

I have no clue what the words are to the Canadian anthem.

Lila: (Hands Ned a piece of paper.) Here dear, here they are.

E: Why for pity's sake do you have to know that?

Lois: Because the other team's from Canada. Most of the players are from

Canada. And there'll be fans from Canada here. Is that a good enough

answer for you Mr. Q?

E: Oh, alright. Now, where are the rest of the board members? They

better hurry up if we're all going to be introduced before the game.

Scene 3-Mac and Felicia are at the Brownstone.

F: If Sonny's murder was a mob hit, are Brenda, Jason, and Robin going

to be alright in London?

M: They are. I have a few people taking care of that. Anyhow, that mob

hit was to take control of Sonny's territory and with Jason out of town

for now, that's done. I just wonder who it was.

>Cut to a cackling Tracy Quartermaine in New York City. She is talking

to a man named Tony.

Tracy: Tony, we did it.

Tony: Do you think you will be suspected?

Tracy: Of course not. They probably think Hernando Rivera mysteriously

rose from his grave. (Laughs.) How ridiculous.<

Scene 4-Angela is in her hotel room on the phone.

A: Cassadine believes I activated it. He's none the wiser. Any other

orders?... Ok. I'll keep in touch. (Hangs up.) This is the one thing I

can't screw up.

Scene 5-Tom, Tommy, and Simone are at the bottom of the stairs at the

Brownstone.

Tom: Ok, let's go.

S: Tom, I'm glad we can still go and do things as a family.

Tom: Yeah. Me, too.

Tommy: (Dragging them out the door.) Come on! We're going to miss all of

the pre-game fireworks.

Scene 6-Joe, Karen, Kevin, and Serena are the first ones to go into the

luxurious and large ELQ box. There is a TV that now has a picture of the

ice. There are several couches and chairs. There's a refrigerator

stocked with spirits and other goodies. There are bowls of snack food

all over the room.

J: Amazing.

Kevin: You could say that.

Emily, Lucky, Steve, Nicole, and Sly walk in.

Sly: Now, this is cool.

Steve: Nikki, how glad are you that you're a Quartermaine?

N: At this moment, it's pretty cool.

Nicole looks out to the ice.

L: Hey, not a bad view, either.

Karen: Hello.

E: Oh, I almost didn't see you back there. Let's see, Dr. Wexler, right?

Karen: Yeah, but you can call me Karen and this is Joe and...

E: Serena and Dr. Collins.

Kevin: Please, call me Kevin.

E: Ok, Kevin. Um, I'm supposed to go join the family for the hub bub, so

if you'll excuse me I'm headed down to where we're supposed to meet.

Scene 7-A.J., Emily, Ned, Lois, Alan, Monica, Lucy, Scott, Jax, Justus,

Lila, and Edward are in a tunnel at the arena.

Edward: Good, everyone's here. First, Ned's going to go out there and

sing the national anthem. Then, we're all going to be introduced. The

captain of the team, Simmons, will come shake our hands and then you can

all go back to the ELQ box for Ned's announcement.

Scene 8-Felicia and Mac are at the Brownstone.

M: I just heard Tom and the others leave. That means we have the entire

place to ourselves.

F: Yeah, why?

M: I need to make a few calls, but you'll see.

F: I guess that means we're going to put our detective stuff away?

Mac gets on the phone.

Scene 9-Carly finds Stefan at GH.

S: Ms. Benson, what are you doing here?

C: I'm looking for you. What exactly is it that you know, Mr. Cassadine?

Scene 10-At the game, Ned finishes the national anthems. After, the ELQ

board members are brought out on a red carpet and introduced. They all

shake Paul's hand. Then go back down the tunnel. Scott and Lucy are

separate from the rest.

S: (Sarcastic.) That was just oodles of fun.

L: Now, Scott, don't get upset just because your fly was open.

S: What? (Looks down.) Very funny.

L: (Laughing.) Well, what's with you? You're in such a crabby mood.

S: I'm not crabby.

L: Ok, well, it must be your time of the month, then.

S: You know you're just a laugh riot. Picking on me, why don't you go

over there (Points to the Qs and Jax.) and pick on old Eddie.

L: It wouldn't be as much fun, pal.

S: Ok. I see. You know what, we should get to our seats before we miss

Ned's announcement and the rest of the game.

L: Alright, alright.

10/15/97-Part 138

Scene 1-Amy, Frank, and Julie are down by the glass at the hockey game.

Paul just scored a goal.

J: Pretty good game, huh, Amy?

A: Yeah.

J: So, are you and Paul an item?

A: That's a pretty good question.

F: You don't have an answer?

A: Well, no, I don't really.

Scene 2-At the ELQ box, all of the non-board members have left, except

for Lois, Julia, and Justus. It is time for Ned's announcement.

A.J.: So Ned, spill it. What's the big announcement?

N: I've gathered you all here to announce my resignation as CEO as of

tomorrow. Due to recent events, I feel that it is in my best interest

and the company's best interest that I pursue my own goals. This time I

truly mean it.

They all look like a bombshell has been dropped on them. Lois smiles.

Scene 3-Mac and Felicia are at the dining room table at the Brownstone.

There are two dishes with lids and two lit candles. The lights are off.

F: So, this is what you were arranging?

M: Yes.

F: And where did this food come from?

M: The Outback.

Felicia takes the lid off of her tray and begins to eat, as Mac stares

at Felicia. Mac has a frustrated smile on his face.

Scene 4-Amy is walking through the arena, when she runs into Tom and

Tommy.

A: Hi.

Tom: Amy.

A: Are you two enjoying yourselves?

Tommy: Yeah.

Tom: We really do have to get back to our seat.

A: Are you with someone?

Tommy: Yes.

A: Dr. Winters?

Tom: No, actually, Simone came with us. Angela was busy tonight.

A: Hmmm...

Scene 5-Tommy and Tom finally broke free from Amy, Tommy sees Serena

walking through with Joe and Karen.

Tommy: Daddy, can I go talk to her? She's in my class.

Tom: Sure, I guess.

Tom and Tommy go to Joe, Karen, and Serena.

Tommy: Hi Serena.

S: Tommy Hardy!

Tommy and Serena go talk and play around.

J: Hello Dr. Hardy.

K: Dr. Hardy.

Tom: Hello Karen, Dr. Scanlon. How are you two?

J: Good.

Karen is quiet.

Tom: Karen, it's alright. I'm not going to bite.

K: I know, I guess I just, well, I didn't quite expect to run into the

chief of staff tonight.

Tom: Tonight I'm just good old Tom Hardy, Tommy's father. So, don't

worry. By the way, is that your sister?

K: Yeah, that's Serena.

Tom: (Looking to Serena and Tommy, who are talking.) Looks like those

two get along real well. Um, we have an extra seat down by us, she can

come sit with us during the second period.

K: Sounds great, I don't think Scott would mind.

Tom: Ok, well, see you later.

J: Yes. (Tom walks to the kids and they head to their seats. Joe and

Karen laugh.) I was a little nervous, too.

Scene 6-Julie and Frank are in their seats at the arena during the

intermission.

F: So, you're going to tell (Amy comes back and sits.) Dr. Quartermaine

about this?

J: Do I have a choice?

F: No, that's why you've got to tell him.

A: Tell him what?

Scene 7-Alan and Monica are in a private box, when Emily and Lucky come

in.

M: (Whispers to Alan.) So much for privacy.

E: Sorry, didn't mean to interrupt, but we're going to leave.

A: The game isn't even half over yet.

E: I know, but I'm not feeling well.

L: Yeah, and I wanted to go see my dad before visiting hours are over.

M: Do you need a ride?

E: No, Reginald's picking us up.

A: What about Sly?

L: He ran into some friends from school. He's going to ride home with

them.

A: Ok. Be careful.

L: We will.

Scene 8-Edward, Lila, Ned, Lois, Jax, Julia, Scott, Kevin, Lucy, A.J.,

Justus, Joe, and Karen are in the ELQ box.

E: Well, it's getting late. Lila and I will be going.

Lois: You're not going to stay?

E: No, this is a sure thing.

A: Have a good night.

Lila: You too, A.J.

Edward and Lila leave.

S: Well, now it feels like a huge weight has been lifted from the party.

Jax: Yes.

Jax clinks a champagne glass to the one that Julia's holding.

Scene 9-Amy meets up with Paul after the game. He is in a suit and tie.

A: Don't you look handsome?

P: Thank you.

Paul looks in her eyes and slowly kisses her. Amy is stunned.

Scene 10-Steve and Nicole are at the Quartermaine mansion, in the

entryway.

N: So, what's your plan?

S: I overheard Emily and Lucky plan a walk out to the lake. Hot

chocolate included.

Steve holds up a thermos.

N: So?

S: I'm going to replace their thermos with this one.

N: What's so special about this thermos?

S: A few sips of this and they'll be drunk off their a... rear.

10/16/97-Part 139

Scene 1-Carly is in the Quartermaine den, sitting in the dark. A.J.

walks in.

A: What are you doing in the dark?

C: Thinking.

A: About?

C: Nothing.

A: Are you alright?

C: Yeah, I'm great. Did you enjoy your night?

A: Yeah. (Smiles.) Ned resigned as CEO.

C: Are you thinking about taking the position back?

A: I don't know.

C: Think of what your life would be like.

Scene 2-Mac and Felicia are at the Brownstone. Mac and Felicia sit at

the table, looking at each other.

F: The other night was special. I needed the security you gave me.

M: (Smiling.) It was special for me, too. Felicia, I love you.

F: Uh, Mac, oh shucks, it's time to call the girls.

Felicia gets up and walks to the phone, leaving a laughing Mac at the

table.

Scene 3-Amy and Paul are at The Outback, they are having dinner.

P: I really enjoy being with you Amy. I hope it's mutual.

A: It is.

P: Good. How would you like to go out tomorrow night, an official date?

A: (Almost jumping out of her seat.) I'd love to.

P: Great.

Scene 4-Lucky and Emily are in the Quartermaine kitchen. Lucky grabs the

thermos Steve placed on the counter.

E: What did you tell your mom?

L: I was spending the night at Sly's.

E: I'm surprised your mother never sees through that.

L: Me, too. Let's go.

They walk off. Steve and Nicole come into the picture.

S: Alan and Monica will hit the fan when they come back.

N: That's what I'm afraid of.

S: I better go.

Scene 5-A.J. and Carly are in the Quartermaine den, talking and

laughing. Alan and Monica come in.

A.J.: Hi mom.

Alan: Hey, have the two of you seen Emily? She said she wasn't feeling

well.

C: Actually, I did. She said something about taking a walk through the

rose garden.

M: Oh.

A.J.: I'm sure she's ok.

Scene 6-Kevin and Lucy are at the lighthouse.

L: Another wonderful ELQ function.

K: Well, am I ever glad it's over. Now, how about we go to bed.

L: Sounds good to me.

Kevin sweeps Lucy off her feet and heads upstairs.

Scene 7-Lucky and Emily are at the lake. They have drank all of the

spiked hot chocolate.

L: (Talking loud.) Let's go back.

E: Good idea. (Laughs.) Why're we talking so loud?

L: I don't know.

They stumble to the house.

Scene 8-A.J. and Carly are in the Quartermaine den. A.J. reaches for

Carly's hand.

A: It's good to know you're better. I better head up to bed.

A.J. stands up to leave.

C: Wait!

Carly lays a lip lock on A.J. and they become enveloped in each other

and begin to undress each other.

Scene 9-Kevin lies Lucy down on the bed. Kevin pulls out a small box

from his suit pocket.

K: Would you do me the honor of becoming Lucy Coe-Collins?

L: Oh doc, I would! Oh yes!

Lucy hugs Kevin and continually kisses him in all of her excitement.

Scene 10-Lucky and Emily make it to her room. Lucky is all over Emily,

kissing her up and down. He takes off her sweater and she takes off his

shirt. She takes her arms and puts them around his shoulders. She turns

on the stereo, the song "(She's got) Skillz" by All-4-One's playing.

They begin to dance, as he continues to kiss her shoulders. He works his

way to her bra strap, he is about to take off her bra, when the door

flings open and there stand a startled Alan and Monica.

A: Good lord!

M: What's going on here?

A: Never mind, I think we can put two and two together. (Lucky and Emily

rush to dress, they end up putting on each other's shirts. They begin

to lose their balance. They teeter around, embarrassed.) Lucky, you'll

have to leave. I'll call your mother. Come with me.

Alan drags Lucky out. Monica walks to Emily.

M: Have you been drinking?

E: No. We had some hot chocolate.

M: What was in it?

E: Nothing.

M: Em, I thought I could trust you now. I guess I was wrong. First of

all, you're drunk. Second, Alan and I find you in here with Lucky in the

middle of... Was this the first time?

E: No, we didn't even make it that far.

M: Emily, we'll discuss this in the morning once I've had a chance to

talk with your father. You just better hope he doesn't kill Lucky.

10/17/97-Part 140

Scene 1-Karen walks into the on-call room. Eve is there.

E: Hello Karen. Hope you and Joe had a nice evening, Burgess and

Boardman have your day pretty much filled. They put up a list of things

that need to be done today, on top of patients. Ta ta!

Eve leaves.

K: Bye. (Julie comes in.) What're you doing here? You're not scheduled

until tonight.

Julie: Um, I have a meeting with Dr. Quartermaine this morning.

K: Ok, what about?

J: I'd rather not discuss that.

K: Ok. Well, I have some patients to get to. I'll see you later.

Karen leaves. Frank comes in.

J: Frank, what are you doing here?

F: Just wanted to make sure you were still going to go through with it.

J: Yeah, I'm supposed to meet with him in 30 minutes.

F: Good luck.

Chris walks in. Frank and Julie kiss. Frank leaves.

C: What do you need luck for?

Scene 2-Alan and Monica walk into Emily's room. Emily asleep. Monica

nudges her and she wakes.

E: Oh God.

A: I believe this is the perfect opportunity to discuss what happened

last night.

E: I'm in trouble?

M: Oh, you could say that.

A: We trusted you. You lied to us. You deliberately lied to us!

E: I told one little fib!

M: One little fib? I beg to differ. You told us that you were going home

because you didn't feel well. When the truth was you and Lucky got

drunk, came up to your room and we found you in the middle of...

E: Monica, that wasn't what we had intended...

A: Intended? Oh, I don't care what either of you intended.

Having heard the commotion down the hall, Nicole comes out of her room

to listen.

E: Alan, Monica; we weren't drinking, we had hot chocolate.

M: What was in it?

E: I made it! There was nothing in it!

A: So, you're trying to tell me someone spiked it?

E: Yes, I guess, I don't know.

A: Lucky was the only one around?

E: Yes!

M: You're not suggesting?

A: Yes, I am.

E: What?

A: Lucky spiked your hot chocolate to take advantage of you.

Emily starts throwing anything she can find across the room. She stops

and looks at Alan with anger.

E: No, he wouldn't!

A.J. and Carly come out of A.J.'s room. Carly's wrapped in a blanket.

Nicole looks suspiciously at them.

A.J.: What's going on?

N: I'd say Lucky and Emily are in BIG trouble.

Scene 3-Nick and Laura are at the breakfast table at the Spencers'.

N: I can't believe Lucky did that.

L: He did. Needless to say Alan and Monica were not at all happy.

N: You?

L: No. I'll be glad when Luke gets out of the hospital, so he can deal

with Lucky. For now, I'm going to have to deal with it.

N: Do you want me to talk to him?

L: No, I have to.

Laura goes upstairs and wakes Lucky.

Lucky: Mom, I can explain.

Laura: No, you can't. I don't want to hear it. I'm setting down some

ground rules. One, you're grounded for two weeks. Two, you're not to

drink again until you're twenty-one. And three, you and Emily will not

be dating each other.

Lucky: But...

Laura: Lucky, I think Alan and Monica are telling Emily the same thing

and it's for the best. Lucky, you and Emily are too young to be having

sex.

Lucky: I'll be sixteen in a few weeks.

Laura: You're still too young, end of discussion. Now, today, you'll be

baby-sitting Lulu.

Lucky: Where are you and Nick going?

Laura: To visit your father.

Lucky: Why can't we go?

Laura: Lulu has a cold and I think it's better that she stay home.

Scene 4-Ned, Lois, and Brooke come up to the Quartermaine mansion for

breakfast. Reginald greets them.

N: Good morning, Reg. (Hearing the yells upstairs.) What's going on?

R: I'm not sure, but I believe Emily's in trouble.

Reginald leaves.

L: Wonder what she did.

Scene 5-Mac is at The Outback, filling out invoices. Felicia comes in.

M: Morning.

F: Sorry about last night.

M: That's ok. How are the girls?

F: They're great. I might be going to visit them soon.

Lucy comes in, dragging Kevin.

L: Hi all! Want to hear some good news?

F: Sure, what is it?

Scene 6-Chris and Julie are in the on-call room.

J: I have an appointment with Dr. Quartermaine to discuss some things,

that's all. You better get a jump, Karen tells me Boardman and Burgess

piled on the work.

C: I wonder what kind of hell I have to look forward to. (Picks up a

clipboard and walks out.) Dr. Morris, what are you hiding?

Scene 7-Alan and Monica are in Emily's room.

A: We're going to set some ground rules. One, you're grounded for a

week.

M: Two, you are not to touch alcohol ever again.

A: Three, there will be no boys allowed in your room.

M: And four, you're forbidden to see Lucky.

E: What?!? You can't do that!

A: We most certainly can!

E: You don't understand. Were you ever young?

A: Oh no, not the "When you were my age" argument. I don't have time to

get into this, I'm late for an appointment.

E: Good, go! Both of you, just go! I'd just LOVE to be left alone!

Alan walks out.

M: (Pleading.) Em.

E: Get out of here, NOW!

Monica slowly walks out, she realizes Emily is hurt. Monica looks back

at Emily, who is sobbing. Then, she gently closes the door.

Scene 8-Laura and Nick are visiting Luke at GH.

Luke: (Laughing.) Really, I would have loved to have seen the Qs faces

when they walked in.

Laura: Luke, please tell me you're not condoning this.

Luke: No, I'm not. But, I don't see it as something all that upsetting.

What about you Nick?

N: I don't know about Lucky, but I have a feeling Emily probably isn't

emotionally ready.

Luke: Ah, so you must be taking psychology. Laura, what did you tell

Lucky?

Laura: I grounded him for two weeks, I told him he wasn't allowed to

drink until he was twenty-one and I told him he couldn't see Emily.

Luke: Ha! Don't count on that.

Scene 9-Ned, Lois, Nicole, A.J., Carly, Edward, and Lila are in the

Quartermaine den for breakfast. They are eating, when Monica comes in.

A: Morning mom.

M: A.J.

Lila: Monica, was there something wrong between you and Emily this

morning?

M: Um, yes, actually, between me and Alan and Emily and Lucky.

Nicole: Does this have anything to do with the loud music I heard last

night?

M: That's what tipped us off.

Ned: Monica, I'm sorry, I don't quite follow.

E: Ned, it's very clear. Emily and Lucky were...

M: Edward, they weren't. We went into her room and found the two of them

half naked and drunk.

E: Are you sure they hadn't... you know.

M: I don't believe they had, but I don't know what to believe.

Nicole: Um, can I be excused?

Nicole leaves.

E: I think I've heard enough. Lucky's to never show his face around here

ever, again.

Lois: Wait a second! Why?

E: Because I can't have my teenage granddaughter sleeping around with

every boy she meets.

Lois: Are you suggesting that there are other boys?

E: That's it. No more boys allowed in this house.

N: Well, I guess we have to throw A.J. out.

C: Excuse me! (Everyone's eyes shoot straight to her.) But, have you

ever thought of talking to Lucky and Emily and listening to what they

have to say?

Justus walks in the room and applauds.

J: I think you've found your place in this family. So, what are we all

discussing?

Lois: The parameters of Lucky and Emily's relationship... which is none

of our business.

Emily walks in to silence.

Scene 10-Kevin, Lucy, Mac, and Felicia are at The Outback.

F: What is it?

L: Kevin asked me to marry him.

Felicia hugs Lucy. Mac gives Kevin a big hug.

F: Congratulations.

M: Well, it's about time.

Scene 1-Stefan goes to Tom, who is standing at the nurses station

talking to Amy.

S: Dr. Hardy.

T: Yes, Mr. Cassadine?

S: I understand you are hiring Ms. Caroline Benson as a physical

therapist.

T: Yes, is there a problem with that?

S: No, in fact, I believe this will be a positive thing. Now that Ms.

Benson has been cleared and begin work here, maybe the whole Pierce

Dorman disaster will be behind us.

T: We can only hope.

Scene 2-Scott shows up at Jax's office. Julia, Katherine, and Jax are

there.

Julia: Scott, what are you doing here?

S: I have some business with Jax.

Jax: We do?

S: Yes.

Jax: Well, why don't we go into my personal office.

Jax and Scott go in the next room.

K: Wonder what that's all about.

Julia: I don't know.

Scene 3-Nicole is at the door of the Quartermaine den. She is listening

to the family going at it. She picks up the phone and calls Steve.

S: What's going on there?

N: A major explosion. Let's just say Emily is in trouble.

S: What about Lucky?

N: I think he might be in the same predicament.

S: Perfect.

Scene 4-Alexis and Jeff are at their hotel room. Alexis is tying Jeff's

tie for him.

J: It's been a long time since I've worn a tie.

A: I could tell. A little nervous?

J: Yeah. I kind of wish Rick were here to back me up.

A: Well, I'm sure Tom is in full support of your hiring, so I doubt

they're will be a problem.

J: What about Stefan?

A: What about him? If you don't get hired and its his fault, he will

live to regret it. Now, go get 'em.

J: I've always said you know too much English to be a Cassadine.

A: Ah, but I'm a Webber.

J: Alexis Davis-Webber.

A: Alexis Webber.

J: I love it.

Scene 5-Alan goes in his office, where Julie is waiting.

A: I'm sorry I'm late, family problems. We're going to have to make this

short. I have to be at a board meeting in a few minutes.

J: Ok, Dr. Quartermaine, this is hard.

A: Just come out with it.

J: I've never known who my father is and finally I was contacted by a

friend of my mother's who told me who he is.

A: Yes?

J: You're my father.

Scene 6-Joe goes to the nurses station, where Amy is.

A: Hi. How're you today?

J: Good.

A: What was with Frank and Julie last night?

J: I don't know what you're taking about.

A: They were acting awful strange.

J: Hmmm... I don't know. Excuse me, I have to go check on Mr. Spencer.

(Walks off, talking to himself.) I wonder what that was about.

Scene 7-Scott and Jax are in Jax's office.

J: Mr. Baldwin, what can I do for you?

Scott throws a pile of papers down on Jax's desk.

S: See, I have some info on you Mr. Jacks. Some information that might

start a federal investigation. So, I have a suggestion for you.

J: What?

S: Sell your ELQ stock.

Scene 8-In the GH board room; Monica, Alan, Stefan, Tom, Amanda

Barrington, Angela, and Edward are there. Jeff walks in.

S: I believe we all know why we're here. So, if we are prepared, let's

go ahead and put it a vote. (Everyone votes to hire Jeff.)

Congratulations Dr. Webber, you are our new chief of cardiology.

J: Thank you.

The group leaves, going their own ways. Alan goes to the hall and is

standing in a corner, staring at a wall, deep in thought.

Alan: How can this be?

Monica sees Alan and walks over.

M: Alan, is something wrong?

Alan: Um, no, everything's ok.

M: How was your meeting earlier today?

Scene 9-Alexis is waiting for Jeff outside the board room. He comes out

with a big smile on his face.

A: You got it?

J: Yeah.

Alexis hugs Jeff.

A: Oh, that is terrific.

J: I know.

A: Ok, well, I guess it's time to go look at our new house.

Scene 10-Scott and Jax are in Jax's office.

J: You really think the feds will freeze my assets, including ELQ?

S: Yeah, if they know the stuff in all of those paper, and the fact that

you were working with Tracy Quartermaine.

J: So?

S: It might be of interest to them that she married Gino Soleito, a

known mob boss in New York City and upon his death she took over the

operation. You have two weeks to decide or I'm going to Edward and the

feds with this.

Scott leaves. Jax stands there thinking a bit, then walks out.

Julia: What's wrong?

Jax: It's nothing. I have a city council meeting to get to, concerning

our new building.
