11/6/97-Part 154

Scene 1-Jason, Robin, and Brenda go to Julia's hotel room. Brenda knocks

on the door, Julia answers.

Julia: Bren!

B: Hi Julia.

R: We'll leave you two alone.

They shut the door, and hug.

Julia: Is something wrong?

B: No.

Julia: Then why do you have to be followed around?

B: It's a precaution.

Julia: Oh. (Long pause.) How're you doing?

B: Good.

Julia: Are you taking good care of my little niece or nephew?

B: Yes, I am. So, tell me about this mysterious party everyone in town

was at.

Scene 2-Robert and Anna are at Wyndemere, they are looking around for

anything that looks mysterious.

A: Robert, what exactly are we looking for?

R: I'm not sure. Anything that doesn't look right.

A: Ok. (Notices the Faberge eggs.) Why would a grown man collect those?

R: Family heirlooms.

A: Either that or there's something hidden in them.

They hear a noise and hide in the secret passage behind the clock.

Scene 3-Karen goes to her apartment to find Joe on her couch.

J: Hi.

K: What are you doing here?

J: I wanted to know something.

K: What?

J: How are the divorce proceedings are going?

Scene 4-Amy goes to Luke and Laura's.

A: How was the party? Paul and I were supposed to go, but there was a

game tonight and it ran late and by the time we met up with each other

we thought it was a little bit too late. So, we went to that new French

restaurant on the corner of twelfth street. Boy, was it good.

Laura: That's nice. Did you ask about the party?

A: Yes. What happened?

Luke: Helena Cassadine showed up.

A: What?!?

The phone rings. Luke answers.

N: You better get down to Kelly's.

Luke: What is it?

N: I don't think I should tell you over the phone.

Luke and Nick both hang up.

A: What was that?

Luke: Nick, he said to get down to Kelly's.

Laura: Amy, will you watch Lulu?

Luke and Laura take off.

Scene 5-Stefan enters the living room at Wyndemere, he looks around.

Stefan calls Mrs. Landsberry in. He has a suspicious feeling.

L: Yes, Mr. Cassadine?

S: Tell Walter to search the grounds and the house.

L: Yes, Mr. Cassadine.

She leaves. Stefan takes out his laptop that was locked up in a wall

safe behind a painting. He punches something up.

S: Why hasn't it started, yet?

Scene 6-Anna and Robert are in a secret passageway.

R: You know it's a good thing we've been here before. Wouldn't want to

get lost.

A: (Small laugh.) How're we going to get off this island, now?

R: We have someone coming to our rescue soon.

A: I hope so.

Scene 7-Julia and Brenda are at Julia's hotel room.

J: It was very odd. The host finally showed up and it turned out to be

Helena Cassadine.

B: Helena Cassadine?

J: Stefan's mother. She basically threatened everyone.

B: Why would she do that?

J: Good question. An even better one would be why was Jax invited? What

does she want from him?

Scene 8-Karen and Joe are at Karen's.

K: I talked to Lee about it yesterday. He said it'd be about a week

before I receive the papers. Then, I sign them and send them to Jagger.

He signs them. They go to the state. Then, we're officially divorced.

Lee said it could take about a month.

J: How're you holding up?

K: I'm ok. I think I've finally come to the realization that my life

with Jagger, that period of my life's over. Actually, it'll be over when

those divorce papers go through.

Scene 9-Luke and Laura arrive at Kelly's to see an ambulance and police

cars. They walk in to find Nick and Steve at a table, with somber looks

on their faces. They are telling Garcia and Darrell something. Then, a

man wheels Ruby out on a gurney.

Luke: Ruby!

Man: I'm sorry, sir. She's dead.

Luke begins to cry. Laura hugs him. The man wheels Ruby's body out. Luke

goes to Garcia and Darrell.

Luke: How'd this happen?

G: We don't know, but we're investigating foul play.

Scene 10-Mrs. Landsberry comes back out to Stefan.

L: Mr. Cassadine, the doctor is here.

S: Send her in.

L: Yes.

Landsberry leaves. Angela comes in.

S: Angela, tell me what's the trouble with our computer virus.

11/7/97-Part 155

Scene 1-The next morning, Robert and Anna wake up in a bedroom at Jason

and Robin's.

R: Good morning.

A: We made it out safe.

R: Thanks to Angela's brilliant scheme. Hopefully we have all of the

information we need on Cassadine. (Kisses Anna.) Have I told you how

sexy you look lately?

A: No.

R: You look sexy.

A: So do you.

Robert and Anna start to kiss and it develops into more.

Scene 2-Brenda is in Julia's room, wide awake. Julia wakes.

J: Did you get any sleep?

B: No, not really.

J: Brenda, you have to take care of yourself.

B: I know, but I just keep thinking about Sonny.

J: I know it's hard, but you have to go on for that child.

B: I'm trying.

There is a knock on the door. Julia answers.

Julia: Jax!

Scene 3-Luke, Laura, Nick, and Lucky are gathered in the living room.

Laura: You called Tony and Bobbie?

Luke: Yes, and Bobbie insists on coming.

N: Will it be safe?

Luke: I'm not sure. Helena's come to town.

Laura: None of us are safe.

Lucky: I guess it's a chance we'll have to take.

Scene 4-Steve goes to Alexis and Jeff's.

J: Steve, what are you doing here?

S: I can't stay at Kelly's anymore.

A: How come?

S: Nick and I found Ruby dead there. The police suspect foul play.

J: You're kidding?

S: No, and it all creeps me out.

A: You're more than welcome to stay here.

Scene 5-Jason and Robin are in the kitchen at the penthouse.

R: I can't believe Ruby's dead.

J: Yeah, and the police believe it's foul play.

R: Did uncle Mac have anything new on Sonny's killer?

J: Not really, but I've got a few leads of my own.

R: Jason...

J: I'm being careful. Now, I have to go.

Jason leaves. A few minutes later, the doorbell rings. Robin answers.

R: Uncle Mac!

Robin hugs Mac.

M: I understand I have some sort of a surprise.

R: Yeah. They're upstairs right now.

M: They?

Scene 6-Robin and Mac are in the living room. Robert and Anna come

downstairs. Mac is shocked to see them.

M: Robert, Anna! (Mac hugs Robert, then Anna.) So, what are you doing

here? Working on a case?

Scene 7-Julia, Brenda, and Jax are at Julia's room.

Julia: Just what Brenda needs right now, a friend to tell her news. I

don't think she's told a lot of people.

B: Just Lois, Robin, and Jason.

Jax: What is it?

B: I'm pregnant.

Jax: Congratulations. (Hugs Brenda.) Your sister and I have a business

meeting.

Julia: But we can postpone that, so you two can talk.

B: Are you sure?

Julia: Yes. I'll just go to the office and see what Katherine is up to.

Scene 8-At the Spencers; Jason brings Lucas, Tony, and Bobbie in. Bobbie

and Luke hug. Lucas runs to Nick and Lucky, and Lucas hugs them. Tony

stands with Jason at the door.

B: How'd this happen?

Luke: The police aren't sure, yet.

B: The police?

N: Foul play is suspected.

Scene 9-Alexis and Jeff are in their bedroom. Jeff is getting ready to

go to the hospital.

J: You don't think your family killed Ruby, do you really?

A: I'm not sure what to think. Helena's threat was very real.

J: Maybe, but why Ruby? Why not go directly to Luke?

A: I don't know. That's what I'd like to know.

J: I have to get to work. Now, you're sure having Steve around won't be

a problem?

A: Positive.

J: Ok, bye.

Jeff leaves. Steve comes in.

S: You think your cousin had something to do with Ruby's death?

Scene 10-Robert, Mac, Anna, and Robin are at the penthouse.

Robert: Yes, actually, we are.

M: Let me guess, Stefan Cassadine.

A: Bingo!

Mac's cell phone rings.

M: Hello... Maria, she what?... When did this happen?... I'll be there

as soon as I can.

Mac folds up his phone.

Robin: What was that about?

M: Felicia.

A: Where is she?

M: She was in Texas with the girls, but she's missing.

Robert: You want some help?

M: Call Frisco and tell him.

Robert: Anything else?

M: No. I'm going there as soon as possible.

Robin: What about your duties as police commissioner?

M: I'll step down and recommend Garcia. As for The Outback, Robin, can I

leave you in charge?

Robert: I guess.

Mac flies out.

A: I hope he can find her.

11/10/97-Part 156

Scene 1-Luke, Laura, Jason, Bobbie, and Tony are in the living room.

Lucas is upstairs with Lucky, Nick, and Lu.

Luke: Stefan already knows you're alive.

T: How?

Laura: We don't know.

J: He doesn't know where you have been, though.

B: But he was looking for us, right?

Luke: I don't know. Matters have been complicated more. Helena's in

town.

B: I thought she was on her death bed.

Luke: Things have changed. Anyway, Mac should be calling soon to tell me

what the autopsy said.

B: You think it was Stefan?

Luke: No, not really. I think it was Helena. See Ruby'd been sick for

awhile. I have a feeling this was some calculated plan, pure Helena.

(The phone rings. Luke picks it up.) Hello.

Scene 2-All of the interns are gathered in the on-call room, Jeremy is

giving a lecture. Ellen and Alan are there. Julie and Eve are in a

corner.

Eve: Hey Julie, why don't you go say hi to daddy?

Julie: Why don't you die?

Julie walks off. Chris comes over.

C: Ouch. Julie got you good. What was that about?

Eve: I might tell you for the right price.

C: Oh, and what is that?

Alan, Joe, Matt, and Karen are in another corner.

A: Karen, I understand you are going through a difficult time right now.

I wanted you to know, I'm here if you need someone to listen.

K: Thanks.

Jeremy comes in. Eve is shocked to see him.

Scene 3-A.J. and Carly are in Carly's room at the Quartermaine mansion.

A.J. hugs Carly.

A: I'm sorry about Ruby.

C: Thanks. We really hadn't gotten to be like family, yet, um, look, I

think I should get over to Luke and Laura's.

A: Yeah, it's gotta be tough on them. Tell them I'm sorry.

Carly leaves.

Scene 4-Luke, Jason, Laura, Bobbie, and Tony are in the living room.

Luke is on the telephone.

Luke: Hey bubba, got something for me?

M: I called to tell you I'm leaving town. Something happened to Felicia.

I've stepped down from the police commissioner's job. I asked for

Garcia's appointment. I told him to call you with the results he gets

back. He should call soon.

Luke: Do you think something happened to Felicia?

M: I don't know, but I've got to look.

Luke: Good luck.

They hang up.

B: What did Mac have to say?

Scene 5-Stefan walks up to Amy at the nurses station.

A: I thought you were leaving town.

S: I have to stay on for a little while longer, until the financial

situation is cleared up. Now, I'll be in my office.

Stefan leaves. Audrey comes along.

Audrey: Amy. How are you?

Amy: Good. You? (Helena walks by.) Oh no.

Tom comes along.

T: Did I just see who I thought I did?

Scene 6-Alan, Ellen, Jeremy, and the interns are in the on-call room.

Ellen: Dr. Erickson, right on time. These are the interns. Dr. Julie

Morris, Dr. Joe Scanlon, Dr. Karen Wexler, Dr. Matt Harmon, Dr. Jake

Marshak, Dr. Chris Ramsey, and (Jeremy smiles at Eve.) Dr. Eve Lambert.

A: Now, let's all get to the lecture hall.

Everyone leaves, except for Chris and Eve.

C: Did I sense something between you and Dr. Erickson or was it just my

imagination?

Eve: Your imagination.

Scene 7-Carly goes to the Spencers. Luke, Jason, Carly, Laura, Bobbie,

and Tony are in the living room. Carly hugs Bobbie.

C: I'm glad you came back.

B: Me, too.

The phone rings. Luke picks it up, again.

L: Garcia?

Scene 8-A.J. is in the Quartermaine den with Lila.

L: Poor Carly. It's a shame when you lose a family member you hardly got

to know.

A: Yeah, not to mention losing Tony, Bobbie, and Lucas not that long

ago.

L: It must be hard on the whole family. (Monica comes in.) Hello Monica.

A: Mother.

M: What are you two discussing?

A: How hard losing Ruby must have been on the Spencers, especially

because it was not too long ago Bobbie, Tony, and Lucas were killed.

L: Maybe Emily should go to the Spencers.

M: I plan on taking her over there, shortly.

Scene 9-Stefan and Helena are in Stefan's office.

H: You'll be going back to Greece tomorrow. I'll be taking care of the

Port Charles holdings.

S: You're just going to push me out?

H: Yes.

Scene 10-Jason, Luke, Laura, Carly, Tony, and Bobbie are in the living

room. Luke is on the telephone.

Garcia: We identified a foreign substance in Ruby's system. Someone had

laced one of her medications with arsenic.

Luke: What's next?

G: A full investigation.

Luke: You'll keep me updated?

G: Yes.

They hang up. There is a knock at the door. Jason looks the window.

J: It's Monica and Emily.

Scene 1-Jax takes Brenda to the gatehouse to see Lois, Ned, and Brooke.

B: Thanks.

Jax leaves. Brenda knocks on the door. Lois answers.

L: Brenda! You're back!

They hug. Ned comes downstairs with Brooke in his arms.

B: I missed you guys.

Scene 2-Robert, Anna, and Robin are at Jason and Robin's.

Robert: Anna, we better leave for our meeting with Angela.

Robin: I hope everything turns out alright.

Robert: It will.

Scene 3-Monica and Emily are at the Spencer house, knocking on the door.

Luke answers. Carly and Laura are on the couch.

Luke: Hello Monica, Emily.

M: Luke, I'm sorry.

Luke: Come on in.

Emily and Monica walk in the living room.

Laura: Emily; Lucky, Nickolas, and Lulu are upstairs in Lucky's room.

E: Thank you.

Emily goes upstairs.

M: So, is Lesley upstairs with the kids. I saw someone with red hair by

the window, I assumed it was Lesley.

Laura: Um, actually...

Scene 4-Karen and Joe are at Karen's. The doorbell rings. Karen opens

the door to Lee.

K: Lee! What're you doing here?

L: I have the divorce papers.

K: They're finalized?

L: Yes, Jagger express mailed them.

Scene 5-Stefan and Helena are in Stefan's office.

S: Ok, mother. If you must push me out. Here's everything. (Hands Helena

a briefcase.) The computer virus and the way to track its progress. The

papers for the hospital. Here is the certificate for the ELQ stock.

Satisfied?

Scene 6-Ned, Brooke, Lois, and Brenda are at the gatehouse.

L: It's good to have you back.

N: So, how are you holding up?

B: Ok. I still have some trouble sleeping.

L: Where are you staying?

B: With Julia. I kind of feel like I'm invading her privacy.

N: Then, I have an idea.

Scene 7-Robert, Anna, and Angela meet in Luke's back room.

R: Angela do you have the documents we need?

Angela hands them to Robert. Anna looks at them.

Anna: Let's go after him.

Scene 8-Laura, Monica, Luke, and Carly are in the living room.

Luke: Actually, we've gotten a new baby-sitter and came over to watch

Lulu for us today.

M: Oh, well... (Looks at her watch.) I really have to go. I'll go get

Emily.

C: Um, Monica, I'll go get her for you.

M: Sure, ok. Thanks.

Carly goes upstairs.

Scene 9-Karen is sitting at her kitchen table. She studies her divorce

papers. Joe is on the couch.

J: I can leave, if you want.

Karen looks at Joe.

K: No, stay. (Looks at the papers.) It's over.

She drops the papers on the table and walks to Joe. She sits next to him

and kisses him. He kisses back. The kisses become longer and more

passionate.

Scene 10-Robert and Anna show up at Stefan's office. They open the door

to find Helena.

H: Ah, Robert, Anna, nice to see you.

A: Where's Stefan?

H: Hmmm... I don't know.
