Part 13

Scene 1-Carly is at Mercy Hospital, being shown around the hospital by

the Head of Physical Therapy.

H: Well, Ms. Roberts, how come you left GH?

C: I had a slight problem with one of my co-workers, but I assure you

that nothing like that will happen here.

H: Well, that's good. Let me show you our physical therapy facilities.

(The two walk to the physical therapy room.) Here we are.

C: Looks good, now, how about a locker?

H: Sure, I think we have one available for you. (They walk to the locker

room.) Here we go, now, here is your locker. Do you have any other

questions?

C: No, thank you. I'll be just fine.

H: Ok, well, I'll see you later.

The head of physical therapy leaves the room. Carly sees a nurse sitting

on a bench in the room.

C: Excuse me, I'm new here and I was wondering a friend of mine used to

work here. I'm wondering if you might know her.

N: What's your friend's name?

C: Marilyn Cooper.

The nurse's face suddenly goes to horror.

Scene 2-Pierce and Harry meet at the docks.

H: How are the plans going?

P: Pretty much as planned.

H: Well, they better, or the boss will have both of our heads.

Scene 3-Matt and Lucky are talking at Kelly's.

M: So, what are you doing here?

L: Visiting my aunt Ruby and getting some breakfast.

M: (He looks at his watch.) Don't you think its a little late for

breakfast?

L: What are you doing here?

M: I'm meeting Emily here.

L: Oh, really?

Emily comes in the restaurant and sits at Matt's table.

M: Em.

E: Matt. (She ignores Lucky.)

L: Hi Emily.

M: So, what did Lois do?

E: I'll tell you later, but everything's alright.

M: That's cool.

Ruby comes with Lucky's pancakes.

R: Here you are. Hello Emily. Oh, and you are?

M: Matt.

R: What can I get you two?

E: I'll have the turkey club.

M: I'll have a cheeseburger, with fries, and a chocolate shake.

E: Oh, I'll have some tea to drink.

R: Ok.

Ruby leaves.

L: So, how long have the two off you been such good pals?

Emily gives Lucky an angry look.

Scene 4-Lucas has had another nightmare, during his nap.

L: Mommy! Daddy!

Betty: Lucas.

L: I want my mommy and daddy!

Betty calls the hospital.

Amy: Nurse Vining, second floor nurse's station.

B: Can I speak to Dr. Jones?

A: I'll page him.

Amy pages Tony and Tony comes to the telephone.

T: Hello.

B: Dr. Jones, it's Betty. Lucas had a nightmare and demands to see you

and his mother.

T: Ok, I'll be there as soon as possible.

Scene 5-Taggert and Keesha are at police headquarters.

T: So you're really going to marry the Quartermaine boy?

K: Yes, I'm going to marry A.J. Now, tell me what was so important this

morning that you interrupted our breakfast?

T: Ok, we have a lead on the drugs. We're going to the docks to stake it

out.

Justus comes in.

K: Well, if it isn't my cousin. What are you doing here?

J: Hoping that you will accept a dinner invitation with Edward, Lila and

I.

K: Sure, as long as Ned's not there. When and where?

J: At six, at the Grill.

K: Ok, I'll see you then.

J: Bye.

Justus leaves. Mac gives the two cops their assignments.

M: Ward, Taggert. You have your assignments?

T: Yes.

M: Good, good luck. If all goes well, maybe this drug ring will be over

tonight. (Mac has a visitor of his own that shows up, Kevin. They go to

Mac's office.) What would you like to talk about?

K: The Cassadines' job offer and Lucy going to Switzerland.

M: Switzerland? Well, only if you listen to me and my problems with

Miranda.

K: Sure, shoot.

Part 14

Scene 1-Mike and Luke are at Kelly's. Ruby comes back to the counter.

R: Can I get you something Mike?

M: No, thank you Ruby. (Ruby goes to the kitchen.) So, do you think

Harry is behind Sonny's heroin incident?

L: Could be. Maybe you should tell Sonny this.

M: Yeah, you're right.

Mike leaves. Lucky comes over to join his father.

L: So, cowboy, what's up?

Lucky: Absolutely nothing.

L: That bad?

Lucky: Yeah.

L: Maybe when your mom comes back, everyone will find out how bad the

C's are, everyone will understand.

Gina comes in and walks to the back and gets an apron and puts it on.

Gina walks up to the counter.

G: Hi Lucky.

Scene 2-Tony is at the brownstone with Lucas.

T: Lucas, everything is going to be alright.

L: Where's mommy?

T: She's at the hospital, in surgery.

L: Can I go to the hospital when she's done?

Tony looks at Lucas and feels sorry.

T: Sure.

Tony takes Lucas to the car. Tony and Lucas go to the car and run into

Katherine Bell.

K: Ah, just the person I wanted to see.

T: What is it?

K: I was wondering if you had any more rooms open at the Brownstone.

T: Why?

K: Well, my penthouse at the Harborview Towers is being remodeled and

all the rooms at the Port Charles Hotel are taken.

T: Well, Tom is out of town for a while.

K: Where'd he go?

T: I'm not sure, but you could stay at his place.

K: Thanks Tony.

T: No problem, come later and I'll give you the keys. Lucas and I have

to be going.

K: Ok, see you later.

Scene 3-Robin and Jason are walking along the docks together.

R: It's great seeing Sonny and Brenda happy together.

J: Yeah, I guess. I'm glad Sonny's happy. Listen, Robin, I have to go

check on something for Sonny, so I want you to go home.

R: Sure, it isn't something dangerous, is it?

J: No, nothing dangerous. I'm going to talk to Carly.

R: Ok, well, I think I'm going to go to the Wellness Center, there is a

backlog of paperwork.

J: Ok. (Robin leaves. Jason goes around a corner and witnesses Taggert

and Keesha trying to make a bust. Taggert chases after one of the men.

While, Keesha tries to arrest the other, she gets shot. The man runs

off. Jason runs to her.) Keesha!

Scene 4-At Kelly's, Matt comes running in.

Emily: Where were you?

M: I went to go get some more stuff. But there was a bust and a cop got

shot.

E: Oh...

Gina comes over to their table.

G: Emily.

E: Yes?

G: Lucky says he's really sorry and he didn't mean to hurt you. He did

what he did for his family, even if you don't understand it, I don't

myself, but I forgave him.

E: Tell him to come over to my house and we'll talk.

G: Ok.

Gina leaves their table.

M: You going to forgive him?

E: I don't know.

Scene 5-Tony and Lucas are at GH, waiting for Bobbie to get out of

surgery.

T: Amy is Bobbie out of surgery, yet?

Amy: She should be around soon.

T: Ok, thanks Amy.

Tony and Lucas sit at a couch in a waiting area. Alan sees Tony and

Lucas and comes over to them.

Alan: Hey, what are you two doing here?

T: Lucas is here to see Bobbie.

Alan: Well, she should be here in a few...

>Intercom: Dr. Tony Jones, Dr. Alan Quartermaine, and nurse Cassadine to

ER stat.<

Tony and Alan walk to Audrey at the nurses' station.

T: What is it?

Audrey Hardy: A police officer was shot.

Audrey takes Lucas to the daycare center. When Alan gets down to the

Emergency Room, he sees it's Keesha, and he is shocked.

Part 15

Scene 1-Kevin and Mac are talking at the police station in Mac's office.

K: Sounds like you still have feelings for Miranda.

M: I do, I can't deny that. So, what is this about Cassadine offering

you a job?

K: Well, Stefan offered me a position at Cassadine Industries.

M: Doing what?

K: Good question, I wondered myself.

M: Hmmm... Ok, so, what's this about Lucy going to Switzerland.

K: She said she was going there to see an old friend, but she couldn't

tell me who. Do you have any idea?

M: Well, it could be, um, no.

K: Mac!

Mac's telephone rings.

M: Commissioner Scorpio.

Taggert: Mac, bad news. We had a problem. Ward has been shot, they took

her to GH.

M: Ok, I'll be right there.

Mac hangs the telephone up.

K: What was it?

M: Keesha Ward was shot. I have to go.

K: Yeah. (Mac leaves.) I think you know why Lucy has gone to

Switzerland, but why won't you tell me?

Scene 2-Pierce pays a visit to Carly at her apartment, she has the news

on.

C: Pierce.

P: Caroline.

C: If you keep calling me that, I'm going to bail.

P: Oh, sweet Caroline, if you do, I'll just have to go tell your mommy

that you're in town. And I WILL tell everything.

C: Don't!

P: Now, were you going to invite me in.

C: Sure, come in. (Pierce sits on the couch.) By all means, make

yourself at home.

P: Don't mind if I do. Hey (Sarcastic.) did you hear about that cop that

was shot down at the docks, such a pity, what is this world coming to?

C: Huh?

P: Ah, it's nothing.

Scene 3-Justus, A.J., Edward, and Lila are on their way out the door to

have dinner with Keesha.

L: A night on the town sounds so nice.

E: Yes, my dear, and a night away from Cook is a plus.

J: Well, Keesha is going to join us there, so we probably should be

going.

Reginald comes running out.

L: What is it Reggie?

R: Keesha she's in the hospital.

A: I've got to go.

E: Reginald, take Lila and have Cook fix something for her. Then, call

Ned and Lois.

L: Where is Emily?

E: And find Emily.

R: Yes, sir.

L: Edward.

E: Yes?

L: Call me when you know anything.

E: I will.

Edward, Justus, and A.J. rush off.

Scene 4-Stefan, Alexis, and Katherine are at Wyndemere, talking.

K: So, I will be staying at Tom Hardy's.

S: Perfect.

A: Yes, maybe you can find the information that we need.

K: I hope so.

Nikolas comes in.

N: More Public Relations for Cassadine Industries?

K: Yes, well, I must be going.

S: I hope you have a nice ride back to the mainland.

K: Thank you, good night.

A: Night.

N: Good night Katherine. (Katherine leaves.) What was that about?

S: You will know, when the time is right. Now, I wonder what Mrs.

Landsberry has for us tonight.

Scene 5-Felicia is getting ready to leave the Outback, when Jax comes

downstairs.

J: Hey Felicia.

F: Hello.

J: Miranda said Mac called and he is at the hospital. One of his

detectives was shot.

F: Who?

J: Keesha Ward.

F: Oh my.

J: So, he needs some on to work tonight.

Felicia calls Brian the bartender.

Part 16

Scene 1-Mike walks into Kelly's.

Ruby: Hi Mike.

M: I just heard the news, Veronica Bowles said that Keesha Ward was

shot.

R: Oh my.

M: I know, it's hard to believe, and I have a feeling that this is all

somehow connected to whoever stuck Sonny.

Scene 2-A.J., Justus, and Edward arrive at GH.

A.J.: Dad! (Alan turns and sees his son.) How is she?

Alan: Tony's with her. Everything looks ok. However, she has lost a

lot of blood. She has not regained consciousness, yet.

J: But it looks alright?

Alan: Yes.

E: A.J., she is going to be alright, she's a fighter. Heck, she is

almost a Quartermaine, she'll be fine.

A.J.: When can I go in and see her?

Alan: When Tony clears it.

A.J.: Ok, thanks dad.

Alan: Look, I'm going to go get your mother and tell her what's going

on.

A.J.: Ok.

Alan leaves, Bobbie walks over to A.J.

B: A.J.

A.J.: Yes, do you know what happened?

B: No, but there is someone around the corner who might be able to tell

you.

A.J.: Huh? (He walks around the corner and sees Jason.) What are you

doing here?

Jason: I was there.

Scene 3-Luke and Sonny are at Luke's, talking.

L: So, you and Brenda are back together?

S: (Smiles.) Yep.

L: What about Mr. Jacks?

S: He's with Miranda.

L: Well, didn't that work out conveniently?

S: Yeah, just the way I like it.

L: Well, good. (Mike arrives.) You're a little late, aren't you?

M: Sorry boss. I was talking to Ruby.

S: About what?

M: Didn't you hear?

L: Hear about what?

M: Keesha Ward was shoot.

L: Is she at GH?

M: Yes.

L: Can you watch the joint?

M: Sure.

S: Sure, partner.

Luke heads for GH.

Scene 4-Back at the Quartermaine mansion; Lois, Ned, and Lila are

gathered in the den.

N: Grandmother, I'm sure everything is going to be alright. Keesha is

strong, she'll survive this.

Lois: Yeah, she'll be fine.

Lila: Oh, I really do hope so.

Reginald comes in the den.

R: Master Lucky Spencer.

Lucky comes in the den.

Lucky: Hi. Um, I was supposed to meet Emily.

Lila: Oh my, Emily.

N: Maybe she's with that Matt kid?

Lois: She needs to know what happened.

Lucky: What happened?

N: Keesha was shoot.

Scene 5-Lucy is at a hotel room door in Switzerland, talking to herself.

L: Kevin, I know I should have told you the truth. I just hope no one

like Kathy Bell figures out where I have gone and what I am doing. Oh

doc, I will never lie to you, again. I promise. But I have to do this,

I had to. (She knocks on the door, it opens.) Oh, it's good to see you.

Part 17

Scene 1-At Carly's apartment, Pierce and Carly are talking.

C: Did you have something to do with the shooting?

P: No, no. Don't be paranoid. It just seems like a lot of people are

out for atonement.

C: Atonement?

P: Tim... Uh... Revenge.

C: Well, hopefully, everything will go as planned.

P: Yes, let's hope. (He smiles and gets up from the couch.) It truly

has been lovely, but I must go. We should do this more often.

C: Well, bye. (Pierce leaves.) What a weirdo. Atonement... Hmmm...

What was that all about?

Scene 2-Robin is on the elevator at GH, then Mac gets in.

R: What are you doing here?

M: Checking on Keesha Ward. She was shot.

R: How?

M: Drug bust, I'm headed to the ER to find out more.

R: I'll go with you.

The elevator door opens at the Emergency Room and they get out.

M: Audrey, Amy, can either of you tell us how Keesha is doing?

Scene 3-At the Wyndemere, the Cassadines have just finished dinner.

Stefan: Wonderful Mrs. Landsberry, as always.

Landsberry: Thank you Mr. Cassadine.

Mrs. Landsberry leaves.

S: Nikolas, how was your day?

Nikolas: Good, where's Bobbie?

S: There was an emergency at General Hospital.

N: What was it?

Alexis: A police officer was shot at the docks.

S: Keesha Ward.

N: Excuse me, I have to go.

Nikolas runs out and heads to GH.

S: What was that about?

A: I don't know, I thought he was interested in that Gina girl.

S: So did I. Oh, but he is a Cassadine. We do have those big, caring

hearts. (Alexis laughs.) In most matters.

Scene 4-Felicia and Brenda run into each other outside of GH.

F: Hi, what are you doing here?

B: I heard about Keesha.

F: Me, too. Well, let's go in.

Felicia and Brenda go inside the hospital. Harry Silver comes out of

the bushes.

H: Soon, Lily, I will take care of her soon.

Scene 5-Nikolas goes to GH to find Emily, but she is not there. There is

a shot of Emily smoking pot with Matt. Nikolas sees A.J. and Jason

talking.

A: What do you mean?

J: I was there. I saw her and Taggert, he went to chase the guys and

the other one shot her.

Robin and Mac walk over to where A.J. and Jason are standing.

M: You saw it?

J: Yeah.

Amy comes over to the group.

Amy: A.J., Keesha is awake.

A: Thanks.

Amy takes A.J. to Keesha, then Amy comes back to the group.

Amy: Jason saved her.

Amy goes back to her duties.

M: I need to ask you for a physical description of the person who shot

her.

J: He had his head turned the other way, so all I could see was his

back. He was tall, probably 6-2. He had short brown hair. That's all I

can remember.

M: Ok, thanks.

Jason goes to the pay telephone and calls Sonny.

J: Sonny, I know what one of the dealers looks like. The guy was

selling from the location Mike gave.

S: After tonight's commotion, I doubt he'll be back.

J: If he does, I'll be ready. (Close-up on Jason's gun in his pocket.)

He has already hurt too many people.

Part 18

Scene 1-Alan goes to the doctor's lounge, at GH, to tell Monica that

Keesha is awake. Monica is sleeping on the couch.

A: Ah, sleeping beauty.

Monica is having a nightmare about the last time she and Pierce met at

their hotel room.

>P: This affair ends when I end it.

Pierce grabs her by the arm.<

Just then, Alan grabs Monica's arm to wake her. Monica wakes startled.

A: Are you ok?

M: Yes, how's Keesha?

A: Amy just told me she's awake. Tony and Bobbie think that's a good

sign. A.J. went to visit her.

M: Is Justus here?

A: Yes, he and father came. Ned and Lois are back with mother.

M: What about Emily?

A: I don't know.

M: Maybe I should try to find her.

A: No, I'm sure she's alright. A.J. needs you now.

M: Ok. (She gets up and hugs Alan.) You're a good father.

A: What makes you say that?

M: You honestly care about A.J.'s feelings and what he's going through

right now. That is what a good father would do, not to mention a good

husband.

Monica looks up at Alan and gets on her tip-toes and kisses him.

A: Well, thank you. (He kisses Monica.) We better get going.

M: Yeah.

Alan and Monica leave the room.

Scene 2-Brenda and Felicia are getting on the elevator at GH, when Luke

comes in.

L: Hold that elevator! (Brenda holds it, while Luke gets in. Luke,

Brenda, and Felicia head to the Emergency Room.) Thanks.

B: No problem.

F: You heard about Keesha?

L: Yeah, and I can't believe this happened.

B: Me either.

The elevator door opens at the floor where the Emergency Room is

located.

L: Amy, how's Keesha?

Amy: Well...

Scene 3-At Wyndemere, Stefan and Alexis are talking. There is a knock

at the door. Stefan answers it.

S: Dr. Collins, what a pleasant surprise. What brings you out here at

this time of night?

Kevin: I've come to tell you that I have reconsidered your job offer.

A: Really?

Scene 4-Tom and Laura bring a visitor to Lesley in Switzerland.

T: Lesley, someone is here to see you.

Laura: Mother. (Lesley stares off into space.) Do you think she's

ready for this?

T: Probably as ready as she can be in her current condition.

Laura: Ok, let's do it.

T: Here is your visitor Lesley.

Tom opens the door, Lesley walks to the door.

Scene 5-Katherine comes to the brownstone. Betty answers the door.

K: Hello. Is Tony here?

B: No, no one is home. I'm watching the kids.

K: Well, I am going to be staying at Dr. Hardy's and Tony was supposed

to give me the key.

B: Come in. He told me the door would be unlocked, so you can go on up

there.

K: Thank you. (She goes up there and searches through his things, when

she discovers he is in possession of a disk labeled Timoria.) Tom, you

have been snooping, haven't you?

Part 19

Scene 1-At the Quartermaine mansion; Ned, Lois, Lila, Lucky, and Brooke

are in the living room.

Lila: Well, I should be heading up to bed. Ned, if there is any word on

Emily, or Keesha's condition tell Reggie to come and get me.

N: Yes, grandmother.

Lila wheels out of the room.

Lucky: Where the heck is Emily?

N: (He looks at watch.) Good question. It's past midnight.

Lois: Hey, Lucky, maybe you should go home.

Lucky: No, she told me to come over tonight, I'm staying. I'll call

home and see if my dad's there.

Lucky calls home and gets the answering machine.

Lois: Nobody home?

Lucky nods.

N: Maybe I should go look for Emily.

Lois: That's probably not a bad idea.

Emily stumbles into the living room. Emily looks around the room.

E: What's going on?

N: Where have you been?

There is complete silence.

Lucky: Emily!

E: Oh, hi Lucky!

N: Emily.

E: What?

N: Where have you been?

E: Oh, um, uh, I was at Julianne's. It is a Friday night, you know.

N: Yes, but you didn't tell anyone where you were going.

Emily flashes back to her and Matt smoking pot.

E: Ugh... I'm sorry.

Lucky: We were supposed to talk about everything.

E: Um, yeah, that's right. Something is wrong, isn't it?

Emily stands there, fearing they know what she had been up to.

N: Yes, there is.

Scene 2-At GH's Emergency Room waiting area; Luke, Brenda, Felicia, and

Amy are standing at the nurses' station.

A: Luke, she is conscious. A.J. is in there with her.

L: Thanks.

Luke, Felicia, and Brenda walk over to Edward and Justus sitting on the

couch. The camera then focuses on Jason, who has just hung up the pay

telephone. Robin hugs Jason.

R: You're a hero.

Jason: Well...

R: My hero.

Mac: I'll leave you two alone.

Mac leaves. Robin hugs Jason tighter. Nikolas watches, then Alan and

Monica come in and see Nikolas.

Alan: Hello Nikolas.

N: Hello Dr. Quartermaine. (He turns to Monica.) Dr. Quartermaine.

M: Hi. Have you seen Emily?

N: No, I haven't. I heard about Keesha, I'm sorry.

M: Thank you.

Monica walks over to the waiting area.

Alan: (To Nikolas.) If you do see Emily, tell her to come to the

waiting room here, please.

N: Yes, Dr. Quartermaine.

Alan goes to the waiting area.

Alan: A.J. is in there with Keesha right now, but maybe you should go in

there and be with him, Monica.

Monica goes into the cubicle they have to set up for Keesha.

A.J.: Mom.

M: Oh, A.J.

Monica hugs A.J.

Keesha: (Weak.) Monica.

A.J.: She was just telling me what happened.

K: (Weak.) Anyhow, the guy shot and took off. I was lying there and

Jason saved me.

M: Really?

K: Yeee...

All of the machines go off.

M: Tony! Bobbie!

Scene 3-Lucy, Scott, and Serena are in the hotel room in Switzerland.

L: Oh, Scott.

Scott: Lucy.

L: Does this mean that you and Serena are coming back to Port Charles?

Scene 4-At Wyndemere, Alexis is getting ready to go upstairs, Stefan

stops her.

A: I'm glad he changed his mind.

S: So am I. But we can not treat his employment in the manner we did

Katherine's, because of Ms. Coe's relationship with Spencer.

A: Understood.

S: I wonder where Nikolas is.

A: Maybe he went out for another late night run.

S: Maybe.

A: Well, it's been a very long day, good night cousin.

S: Good night, Alexis.

Scene 5-Miranda is leaving her apartment, Jax stops her.

J: Where are you going?

M: To see Mac, he seemed upset.

J: Ok, be careful.

M: I will.

Miranda leaves. Miranda winds up going to Luke's, where she visits with

Sonny.

S: Well, how are you Ms. Jamison?

M: Good.

S: What brings you out at this time of night?

M: I wanted to thank you.

S: You're welcome. Anything else?

M: No.

S: Well, good night.

M: Good night.

Miranda walks out of the club.

Mike: What was that about?

S: I'm not sure.

Outside of Luke's , Miranda is grabbed from behind.
