4/1/98-Part 238

Scene 1-Jake and Julie wake up in Jake's bed.

Julie: Oh, last night wasn't a dream.

Jake: No, it wasn't, it was real.

Julie looks over at the clock on the nightstand.

Julie: Yeah, but if we don't get moving, we're going to face our worst

nightmare, Dr. Burgess yelling at us.

Jake: You're right. So right. (Kisses her.) Ah, five more minutes?

Julie: (Kissing him back.) Yeah, five more minutes couldn't hurt.

Scene 2-Julia and Brenda are seated in their hotel room having

breakfast.

Julia: So, why was Ned's wife over last night?

Brenda: Lois.

Julia: Yes, Lois.

Brenda: They're going to moving.

Julia: When?

Brenda: Probably in May.

Julia: You're upset about it, aren't you?

Scene 3-Emily, Ned, Nicole, and Monica are eating breakfast at the

gatehouse.

Ned: Nicole, do you feel any better about moving?

Nicole: Honestly, no.

Emily: You know, I didn't really care for this place when I first moved

here, but I've grown to love it. I bet you'll be writing me and telling

me how much you love Brooklyn.

Nicole: I don't know.

Emily: You're afraid of more change, aren't you? (Nicole nods.) A wise

person once told me that although change is scary, change is good.

Monica smiles remembering those words coming out of her mouth. Then,

their attention is taking away by Lois entering with a strange look on

her face. She has Brooke in her arms.

Lois: I have some bad news. Tony Jones is dead.

Scene 4-A.J. goes to the front desk of the Port Charles Hotel.

A.J.: Um, Jack, have you seen my father this morning?

Jack: No. He did call for room service this morning. So, he probably

is still in his room.

A.J.: Thanks. (Goes to Alan's room and knocked on the door. Alan comes

to the door and opens it.) Wow, you're out of the wheelchair.

Alan: Yeah. I guess I'm back to my old self. What brings you by?

A.J.: You haven't heard?

Alan: Heard what?

Scene 5-Lucy knocks on Kevin's office door at the hospital.

Kevin: Come in.

A weepy Lucy enters the room. Kevin walks over to her and puts his arms

around her.

Lucy: Did you hear?

Kevin: Yes. I can't believe that Tony is dead.

Lucy: Me either.

Kevin: Do you want to go to see Bobbie and give our condolences?

Lucy: I think we should.

Scene 6-Scott enters the Julia and Jax's office.

Julia: Scott, what are you doing here?

Jax: Mr. Baldwin.

Scott: I'm hoping that maybe the two of you can help me and Lucy out.

Julia: Help you out with what?

Scott: Jacks-Deception.

Katherine comes in the office.

Katherine: Good morning. Oh, hello, Scott.

Scott: Katherine.

Jax: So, Mr. Baldwin, how do you think we can help?

Scene 7-Jeremy and Ellen have the interns all gathered in the on-call

room at the hospital.

Jeremy: After some discussion we have decided that all of you will be

allowed to conduct your own experiments in the hospital lab.

Ellen: The only stipulations are that you conduct your experiments on

your own time and your results are to be shared with us.

Joe: So, is the lab going to be open to us twenty-four hours a day?

Jeremy: No, you'll have to go to Dr. Hardy's office to set up a schedule

of the lab time you want.

Scene 8-Justin stands outside the Harborview Towers, far from where

Jason and Robin are coming out, but close enough to possible shot them

with the gun he has aimed their direction. Jason and Robin head for the

limousine. Justin watches them closely with his gun perched to shoot at

just the right moment. He is about to shoot, when Robin is in his path.

Justin: Damn! I'm not going to shoot an innocent person. I'll get him

later.

Robin and Jason get in the limousine and drive off.

Scene 9-Scott, Katherine, Jax, and Julia are in Jax's office.

Scott: We need capital. We are prepared to sell shares of stock to make

up for the amount that we have lost.

Julia: It appears that we had a thief in our company.

Jax: Well, I'm sorry Mr. Baldwin, but at this moment my money is tied up

in another business venture.

Julia: Do you know who this thief was?

Scott: No, but I have some investigators looking into it and whoever it

was will be fired and brought up on criminal charges.

There is a knock at the door.

Jax: Come in. (Nick enters the room in a suit, all dressed up for his

first day of his internship.) Well, hello Mr. Spencer, right on time.

Nick: (Nervous.) Yes.

Jax: Um, Mr. Baldwin, if you don't mind we have business to tend to.

Scott: Yeah.

Scott walks out of the office.

Katherine: Hello Nickolas. Well, I better get to work.

Katherine walks off to her office.

Scene 10-Katherine is in her office on the telephone.

Katherine: Your plan worked like a charm. Scott is begging for

stockholders.

Rex: Time to make my next move.

Part 239

Scene 1-A.J. and Alan are in Alan's hotel room.

Alan: Oh my, Tony, um, does your mother know?

A.J.: I don't know. I found out from Carly, she saw it on the TV.

Alan: Where is she?

A.J.: She took off.

Alan: You don't know where she went?

A.J.: No, but I thought I should leave her alone.

Alan: A.J., you probably ought to go find her.

A.J.: What are you going to do?

Alan: I'm going to see what I can do for Bobbie.

Scene 2-Carly walks alone in the park. She sits down at a bench. She

recalls a time when she met Tony there, it was in the fall, when all the

leaves were on the ground. She sees it vividly. Then, their entire

affair goes through her mind.

Carly: God, this is my fault.

Carly cries.

Scene 3-Bobbie sits in the stairwell at GH. She remembers when Tony

caught her and Damian kissing there. She shakes her head. Then, she

remembers being told about B.J.’s accident. All the events that follow

run through her head.

Bobbie: God, this is my fault.

Bobbie cries.

Scene 4-Tom, Audrey, Luke, and Amy are in the living room at the

Brownstone.

Audrey: Do you know where Bobbie went?

Tom: No.

Amy: Maybe somebody should have gone after her.

Luke: No. She has to deal with this her own way.

The doorbell rings. Audrey goes to the door and answers it.

Audrey: Kevin, Lucy.

Lucy: Hi. Is Bobbie here?

Luke comes to the door.

Luke: No Luce, she went out for a bit.

Lucy: Oh, Luke.

Lucy and Luke hug. In come Robin and Jason. Mac walks in from the

backyard, where the kids, Felicia, and Laura are.

Robin: Uncle Mac. (Mac hugs Robin.) Where's Felicia?

Scene 5-Karen and Joe are in the on-call room at the hospital.

Karen: Medical experiments? So, what do you think about this?

Joe: Sounds like they want us to do their work.

Karen: Yeah, but we could have a major breakthrough.

Joe: Like what? A cure for cancer?

Karen: Maybe, or maybe a cure for AIDS or some kind of treatment or new

meds. We could formulate medications that save people's lives. That's

why I got into medicine.

Scene 6-Ned, Lois, and Brenda go in GH.

Ned: So, this is just another standard checkup?

Brenda: Yes, it is Ned.

Ned: Ok, well, I think while you have your checkup, I'll go see if I can

find Monica. She seemed a little upset when she left this morning.

Lois: Ok. We'll see you in an hour or so.

Ned walks along the hall. Monica walks in the same hall and spots him

before he sees her. Not wanting to talk to him, she quickly goes to the

stairwell.

Scene 7-Kevin, Lucy, Robin, Jason, Mac, Tom, Audrey, and Amy are in the

living room at the Brownstone.

Mac: Felicia's hanging in. She's in back with Laura and the kids.

Scott comes in the front door, no one has spotted him yet.

Scott: Bobbie! (He comes into the living room.) Oh, hi.

Luke: Baldwin!

Laura runs in the living room.

Laura: Luke, don't.

Scene 8-Monica heads downstairs and sees Bobbie there. She doesn't know

what to do. So, Monica turns around to try and sneak off, but she drops

one of the files that she is carrying. Bobbie turns and sees her.

Bobbie: Monica?

Monica: (Softly.) Hi Bobbie.

Bobbie: I guess you heard.

Monica sees the tears flowing from Bobbie's eyes. She goes to her, sits

down next to her, and hugs her.

Monica: Yes, I did.

Scene 9-Nicole and Sly are standing beside Nicole's locker at Port

Charles High School.

Sly: You've got a thing for Lucky, don't you?

Nicole: I did. Past tense. Besides, I'm moving.

Sly: Really? When?

Nicole: In May. So, were you going to tell me something about Lucky?

Sly: Well, it's about Lucky and your cousin.

Nicole: What about them?

Scene 10-Alan is walking through the halls of the hospital and runs into

Gail.

Alan: Gail, have you seen Bobbie?

Gail: No, but I thought she'd be at home.

Alan: I called there and she said she left.

Gail: Maybe Monica has seen her.

Alan walks to Monica's office and runs into Ned.

Ned: Have you seen Monica?

Alan: No. I was actually hoping to find her to see if she had run into

Bobbie.

Ned: So, you've heard?

Alan: Yes.

Scene 1-Katherine is in her office on the telephone with Rex.

Katherine: So, what exactly is the next move against Scott and Lucy?

Rex: You'll find out when it happens.

Katherine: Ok.

Rex and Katherine hang up.

Scene 2-Monica and Bobbie are sitting on the stairs in the stairwell.

Monica: Bobbie, I'm so sorry about everything. Alan and I had no right

to treat you and Tony the way we did when you came back.

Bobbie: It's ok Monica. I completely understand. I'm sorry that I

couldn't tell you what was going on. Anyhow, that was then, this is now.

And, with Tony gone, I don't know what I'm going to do.

Monica: (With her hand on Bobbie's shoulder.) You're going to make it

through this.

Scene 3-Nicole and Sly by Nicole's locker at school.

Nicole: What about Emily and Lucky?

Sly: I saw the two of them checking into the PC Hotel a little while

back.

Nicole: (Amazed, surprised.) You're trying to tell me that Emily and

Lucky are doing it?

Sly nods.

Scene 4-Ned and Alan in the hallway at the hospital.

Alan: Yes, I have. Ned, why are you here?

Ned: I brought Brenda in for a checkup. Lois is with her. I was hoping

to find Monica, she seemed upset when she found out about Tony.

Alan: (Irritated with Ned butting into what Alan thinks is his

business.) Well, why don't you go see how Brenda is. And, I'll worry

about MY wife!

Ned: (Sarcastic.) Yes, sir.

Ned salutes him. Then, he walks off. Alan looks around. He begins

stalking through the halls.

Scene 5-Julie and Jake are near the sixth floor nurses' station in the

East Wing of the hospital.

Julie: So, now that you are free to us the lab all you want, what do you

think you are going to do? DNA research?

Jake: Actually, I don't know. I really hadn't thought about it. Today

my thoughts have been on what happened last night.

Julie: Last night was great.

Jake: Exactly. How about we go out tonight? Dinner at the PC Grill,

followed by a repeat performance of last night?

Julie: You're on.

Joe and Karen walks by the two. They stand on the other side of the

nurses station. Joe shakes his head.

Joe: I can't believe it. She and Jake have already had a roll in the

hay together. She and Frank just broke up.

Karen: Woh. How do you know those tow are sleeping together?

Joe: Just look at them.

Karen looks over at Jake and Julie kissing and giggling.

Karen: Ok. They obviously are. But, what makes it your business.

Joe: Julie hurt my brother, that's what makes it my business.

Scene 6-Kevin, Lucy, Scott, Audrey, Amy, Luke, Laura, Mac, Tom, Robin,

and Jason are in the living room at the Brownstone.

Luke: Don't worry, I wasn't going to do anything.

Scott: Well, I just came to give my condolences to Bobbie not to face

the wrath of Luke Spencer. I'll come back later, when Bobbie's home.

Scott leaves.

Robin: Well, I'm going to go see if Felicia needs help with the kids.

Jason: Ok. I've got to go.

Robin: (Kisses Jason on the cheek.) I'll see you.

Robin goes to the backyard. Laura gives Luke a stern look.

Scene 7-A.J. goes to the park and walks through and finds Carly sitting

on a bench crying. He sits next to her and puts his arms around her.

A.J.: Carly, it's going to be ok. It's going to be ok.

Scene 8-Edward is in the living room of the Quartermaine mansion. He

picks up the telephone and calls Justus.

Justus: Hello.

Edward: Justus, do you know where A.J. is?

Justus: My guess is that he is with Carly right now.

Edward: Ok. Well, have the two of you gotten any further on finding any

information on this Rex Stanton character?

Justus: No, we haven't Edward. But, I promise you that we're working on

it.

Edward: Well, maybe you should work on it a little harder.

Edward hangs up. Justus folds up his cellular phone and Dara comes out

of the bathroom of her apartment.

Dara: Your grandfather?

Justus: Yes. I'm sorry, but I have to get to work.

Scene 9-Lucky and Nick bump into each other in front of the Brownstone.

Lucky: So, how was your day with Jax?

Nick: Pretty good. Your day?

Lucky: A normal day. Um, we should relieve the grown ups from their

child watching duties.

Scene 10-Julie runs into Matt in a hall at the hospital.

Julie: Hi Matt. How are you?

Matt: Have you seen Chris around?

Julie: No, I haven't. Why are you looking for him?

Matt: Oh, I have a message for him.

Eve is behind them looking at a patient's file.

Julie: Eve, have you seen Chris?

Eve: Nope. But, my guess is he has his lips firmly planted on Dr.

Burgess' butt.

Chris comes up from behind the group.

Chris: Actually, Eve, I'm right BEHIND you. Somebody want to see me?

Scene 1-Lois and Brenda come out of the doctor's office to find Ned and

Julia talking.

Lois: Well, hello.

Julia: Hi. Brenda, how did your checkup go?

Brenda: A-ok.

Julia: (Hugs Brenda.) Good.

Brenda: So, what have the two of you been talking about?

Julia: I was just telling Ned that he should come out with another one

of those Eddie Maine CDs.

Lois: You are so right and I've been pushing Nedly to do that.

Julia: Nedly?

Ned: Maybe a farewell to PC album or something.

Lois starts jumping up and down. She is excited. Obviously she has come

up with some sort of idea. All three of the others watch Lois in

amazement.

Lois: Oh, I just got the most incredible idea!

Scene 2-Monica walks Bobbie in the Brownstone. Luke, Lucky, Laura, Nick,

Lucas, Lucy, Kevin, Felicia, Tom, and Robin are there. Lucas runs to

this mother.

Lucas: Mommy! I was scared. I thought you were gone. Please, don't

leave me.

Bobbie picks him up and holds him tight.

Bobbie: I just had to go and clear my head. Lucas, I promise you I'm

not leaving.

Laura walks over to Monica.

Laura: Where'd you find her?

Monica: At the hospital. She's much better now.

Luke, Lucky, Felicia, and Robin are all gathered in a bunch.

Felicia: She can't stay here tonight.

Luke: We're going to take her to our house.

Lucky: You know, I don't think she'll ever be able to stay here.

Robin: Do you think she should move?

Scene 3-Carly and A.J. are outside of the Brownstone.

A.J.: Are you going to be ok?

Carly: Yeah, um, A.J., I'll be fine.

A.J.: Ok, well. I have to get to ELQ. You understand?

Carly: Yeah.

A.J.: I'll come back here, as soon as Justus and I are done.

Carly: Ok.

A.J. drives off. Carly sits on the stoop at the Brownstone.

Scene 4-Lois and Ned are in the car on their way home.

Lois: So, my idea is a big farewell concert at The Outback.

Ned: Uh huh. There sounds like there is more to it than just that.

Lois: (Very excited.) After listening to that tape of Nicole's, I was

thinking she could be like your opening act. Whatcha think?

Scene 5-Scott is sitting at his office at home. His telephone rings.

Scott: Hello.

Rex: Scott, this is Rex Stanton. I've heard about you and Ms. Coe's

financial woes. And, I was calling to let you know that I'd be willing

to help.

Scott: Really? Would you buy shares of stock?

Rex: Sure. Whatever you need.

Serena comes in the room and watches her father on the telephone.

Scott: Mr. Stanton, I'll have to get back to you.

Rex: Sure.

Scott hangs up.

Serena: Daddy, is something wrong?

Scene 6-A.J. and Justus are at ELQ. A.J.’s cell phone rings.

A.J.: Hello.

Julie: A.J., it's Julie. I got your message.

A.J.: Do you think you could come over to the ELQ offices to sign a

claim to your stock?

Julie: I'm on break right now, so I can be there in about ten minutes.

A.J.: Ok.

They hang up.

Justus: Julie?

A.J.: Yes. She's claiming her stock. Justus, can I ask you something?

Justus: Yes.

A.J.: Did grandfather ever offer stock to you?

Justus: Yes, but I refused Edward's offer.

Scene 7-Emily and Nicole walk into the gatehouse.

Emily: Well, today seems like one of the longest days in the history of

the world.

Nicole: Yeah, it did.

Emily: Um, Nicole, you've been so quiet, is there something wrong?

Nicole: Um, Emily, I heard the most incredible rumor.

Emily: What? What is it?

Ned and Lois enter the house.

Lois: Hi you two.

Scene 8-Nick and Lucky are watching the kids in the backyard at the

Brownstone.

Lucky: Nickolas, I'm really sorry about the outburst I had at you the

other night.

Nick: Apology accepted. But Lucky, my opinion about what you and Emily

are doing hasn't changed.

Lucky: The thing is, we aren't doing anything. We are not (Stops and

thinks about what is acceptable to say.) sleeping together. We realize

we weren't ready. We realized that the night at the hotel. Yes, we did

spend the night there at the hotel, but we didn't do anything. Honest.

Scene 9-Carly sits on the stoop at the Brownstone. She thinks about all

of the bad things that have happened since she hit town: her breaking up

Tony and Bobbie's marriage, Bobbie marrying Stefan, hurting Lucas,

Dorman raping her, killing Dorman, her adopted mother Virginia Benson's

death, the murder trial, and now Tony's suicide.

Carly: I should just leave town.

Carly starts to walk away from the Brownstone, when Alan drives up and

gets out of his car.

Alan: Carly, is your mother here?

Carly: Um, I don't know. I haven't gone in, yet.

Alan: Well, let's go in.

Alan walks Carly in the living room at the Brownstone where Bobbie,

Monica, Luke, and Laura are. Bobbie goes to Carly, she looks at her

carefully, and puts her arms around her.

Scene 10-Scott calls Lucy, Kevin answers the phone.

Kevin: Hello.

Scott: Um, Kevin, this is Scott. Can I talk to Lucy?

Kevin: Yeah.

Kevin gives the phone to Lucy.

Lucy: Scott?

Scott: Yeah. Rex Stanton just offered to buy some stock. Um, I've

decided we need to sell to him.

Lucy: So fast?

Scott: We have to. We have to if we want this company to keep running.
