4/6/98-Part 242

Scene 1-Julia and Brenda are at their hotel room.

Julia: So, does your friend, Lois, always get like that when she gets an

idea?

Brenda: Only when she gets really terrific ideas.

Julia: So, a farewell concert at The Outback is a terrific idea?

Brenda: There's more to it than that. So, anyhow, how was your day?

Julia: Interesting. We have this new intern working for us.

Brenda: Oh?

J: Yes, Nickolas Spencer.

Scene 2-Jason is down at the docks. Mr. Pascucci is there, getting

ready to board a boat.

Jason: Well, I hope you and your drug shipment have a nice trip back to

where you came from.

Mr. Pascucci winks.

Pascucci: Yeah.

A shot rings out. Jason and Mr. Pascucci hit the ground. Renaldo comes

out from the shadows and begins firing in the direction the shots came

from.

Scene 3-Jake meets Katherine at Rex's penthouse.

Jake: Where's Rex?

Katherine: He's busy taking care of something else. So, how are things

going?

Jake: Good. Julie is signing papers for her ELQ stock, as we speak.

Katherine: Good.

Scene 4-Chris and Matt are in a hall at the hospital, arguing.

Chris: Look, it's your own fault. You were the one who broke into the

computers. Besides, you're off the hook. No review board.

Matt: Yeah, but now that's on my record. Which jeopardizes my getting

the Quartermaine fellowship.

Chris: Well, I'm sorry. But, that's not any my problem.

Jeremy stops by the two of them.

Jeremy: Is something wrong?

Chris: No, sir.

Matt: Actually, yes there is.

Scene 5-Garcia walks into The Outback and sits at the bar, where Mac is

standing.

Mac: Garcia.

Garcia: Hi Mac.

Mac: Something wrong?

Garcia: Taggert was just released from prison. He was paroled because he

was a (Swallows, thinking this is ridiculous.) "model prisoner."

Scene 6-Emily, Nicole, Lois, and Ned are in the living room at the

gatehouse.

Lois: Nicole, I need to tell you about a great idea I've had.

Nicole: Great idea?

Ned: Lois plans for an Eddie Maine farewell concert.

Lois: And, I want someone special to perform also.

Scene 7-Nick, Luke, Lucky, Lesley Lu, Laura, and Bobbie are in the

Spencer living room.

Luke: Here we are.

Laura: Bobbie, would you like me to fix you something to eat?

Bobbie: No, actually, I'd think I should try and get some sleep.

Nick: Bobbie, you can sleep in my room.

Lucky: Yeah, and I guess Nick can bunk with me.

Bobbie: Thank you both. (Hugs them, then Luke. Picks up Lu and looks at

her carefully.) I'll take Lulu upstairs to bed.

Scene 8-A.J., Justus, and Julie are at ELQ. Julie is signing some

papers.

A.J.: Well, here you are. Nine percent of ELQ.

Justus: Enjoy it in good health.

Julie: Thank you. Um, I have to go. Date.

A.J.: Ok, well, have a lovely evening.

Scene 9-Carly walks along the docks, she hears shots. She ducks behind

some crates. When it stops she comes out and looks around. She sees

Jason standing at a pier near a boat.

Carly: Jason, are you ok?

Jason: Carly?

Carly: Yeah. Are you ok? (Looks him over.) You're ok. (Looks to see

Pascucci lying dead in a pool of blood. Sirens ring out.) Jason, we have

to get out of here.

Scene 10-Lucy and Scott are still on the telephone talking to each

other.

Lucy: Scott, you're right. Sell Rex the shares.

Scott: Ok, tomorrow.

Lucy: And, then we'll be out of this whole?

Scott: (Hopeful.) Yeah.

4/7/98-Part 243

Scene 1-Luke, Laura, Lucky, Nick, Bobbie, and Lesley Lu are at the

Spencer breakfast table.

Lucky: Aunt Bobbie, did you get any sleep last night?

Bobbie: No, not really. I'm worried about Lucas and how he is handling

all of this.

Laura: It looks like he is handling things fairly well for someone his

age.

Bobbie: Yeah, it does. I hope Simone didn't have a hard time with him

last night.

Luke: Um, Bobbie, we have to go.

Bobbie and Luke get up and walk to the front door. Bobbie hugs Luke.

Bobbie: Thank you.

Bobbie and Luke leave.

Nick: Well, I have to go, too.

Nick kisses Lesley Lu on the cheek and waves goodbye to Laura.

Lucky: I better get going to school.

Nick and Lucky both leave the house.

Scene 2-Julie and Jake are in Jake's living room.

Julie: Good morning. You know I had a wonderful time last night.

Jake: Well, we should do it more often.

Julie: Yes.

Jake: I'd still like to know why you were so late.

Julie: Family reunion.

Jake: What?

Julia: I was signing for my ELQ shares. I called you before I went over

there, remember?

Jake: Oh yeah, that's right.

Scene 3-A.J. and Carly are in the Port Charles Hotel lobby.

A.J.: Are you really sure you want to do this? You don't have to, if

you don't want to. I'm sure Bobbie would understand.

Carly: No, I promised I'd help her with the funeral plans, and I will.

Now, will you drive me to the funeral home?

A.J.: Yeah.

A.J. puts his hand on her shoulder and they walk out.

Scene 4-Lucy, Scott, and Rex are at the Jacks-Deception office.

Scott: Well, here you go. Forty nine percent of Jacks-Deception.

Rex: Thank you.

Lucy: No, thank you. You really helped us out of a jam.

Rex: As soon as you can make enough of your money back to buy the

shares, I intend to sell them back to you. I want you to know that.

Lucy: Can I ask you why you're doing this, then?

Rex: Personal interest. This company was something my niece was part of

and I feel eventually my great niece will be part of it. I'm looking to

protect my family's interests.

Scene 5-Lois, Ned, Nicole, and Emily are at the breakfast table at the

gatehouse.

Lois: So, Nikki, what do you think about singing at the concert?

Nicole: It's a great idea, but I don't know if I could get up in front

of all of those people and do it.

Ned: You don't have to if you don't want to.

Emily: I've always heard that if you picture the audience naked that

helps.

Nicole: (Ponders the thought.) Who do you think will be there?

Lois: Everybody!

Nicole: Hmmm... There's a few people I wouldn't mind picturing naked.

Ned: Nicole!

Lois: (With a pleading face.) So, you'll do it?

Nicole: Yeah, I'll do it.

Scene 6-Jax and Julia are at the office.

Jax: So, are you meeting with the Garrison people today?

Julia: Yes. I thought I'd take Nickolas with me to give a little

preview of the business.

Jax: Sure, that sounds good.

Jax looks down at his calendar.

Julia: What is it?

Jax: The J&J Jacks building is set to open this May. I'm trying to

decide a date, what do you think?

Scene 7-Alex Garcia has Jason down at the station.

Garcia: Do you know why those people were shooting at you?

Jason: No.

Garcia: Is that an honest answer? (Jason remains silent.) Morgan,

somebody's dead. We'd like to find out why. We'd like some answers.

Jason: If I had them, I'd tell you.

Robin runs in.

Robin: Jason, oh, you're ok.

Scene 8-Felicia and Mac are at The Outback.

Mac: Garcia told me yesterday that Taggert was released. (Felicia looks

as if she is in outer space.) Earth to Felicia. Something wrong?

Felicia: Mac, I keep thinking about that night.

Mac: When Tony died? You can't keep thinking about that Felicia.

Scene 9-Joe, Jeremy, and Karen are in the hall at the hospital.

Jeremy: Well, I understand you two are interested in Aids research.

Joe: Yes, sir.

Jeremy: Well, I've been contacted by PCU, and they have some pre-med

students who are willing to assist in your lab research.

Karen: That'd be great Dr. Erickson.

Scene 10-Alexis, Jeff, and Jordan are sitting in the Webber kitchen.

Jeff: So, Jordan, how do you like PC so far?

Jordan: It's great.

Alexis: Well, guess what you and I are going to today.

Jordan: What?

Alexis: We're going to have lunch with your uncle Rick, and then we're

going to get you enrolled in school.

Jordan grunts disapproval of school.

Scene 1-Julia, Jax, and Nickolas are at the office.

Julia: Nickolas, what do you think about going with me to close the

Garrison deal?

Nick: I'd love to. I was looking at the Garrison file the other day.

Jax: Good. Good work.

Julia: Well, let's go.

Scene 2-Jason, Robin, and Alex Garcia are at the police station.

Robin: Jason, are you ok?

Jason: I'm fine, Robin. I'm fine.

Robin: I'm glad. Garcia, what's going on?

Garcia: Someone was shooting at your husband and a man was killed. I'm

trying to figure out why.

Scene 3-Mac and Felicia are at The Outback.

Felicia: Did you say something about Taggert?

Mac: Yeah. Taggert was just released the other day.

Felicia: Oh, god.

The front door the restaurant flies open. A startled Felicia jumps.

Frisco: Hello. Mac, Felicia?

Scene 4-Jake, Julie, Karen, and Joe are in the hall at the hospital.

Jake: So, I heard about your research project.

Karen: Yeah, isn't that great that we are getting all this support on

it?

Julie: Yes.

Joe looks at Jake and Julie together. A look of disgust crosses his

face. He walks off. Karen watches, but tries to stay with the current

conversation. She decides she better go after him. Karen runs after

Joe.

Scene 5-Kevin and Lucy are at the lighthouse.

Kevin: So, Jacks-Deception's financial woes are solved?

Lucy: Yes, but I'm beginning to wonder if Scott and I did the right

thing.

Kevin: Lucy, you have to believe that you did.

Scene 6-Brenda is sitting in the Grill at a table looking at a menu.

She feels a big pain as is evident by her groan. Then, she screams.

Brenda: Oh my god!

The maitre'd comes running over to her.

Maitre’d: Are you ok? Is everything alright?

Brenda: I need to get to the hospital.

Scene 7-Nicole, Emily, and Julianne are standing by Emily's locker.

Emily: So, Nicole, you never did tell me about that big rumor that you

heard.

Julianne: What big rumor?

Nicole: Um, well, somebody told me that...

Lucky walks up to the girls.

Lucky: Hi girls.

Emily kisses him on the cheek.

Julianne: So, Nicole, are you going to leave us hanging?

Lucky: Hanging on what?

Nicole: Um, a rumor I heard. (Looks around, pretending it is about

someone else.) I can't tell you right now, later.

Scene 8-Rick, Alexis, and Jordan are at the Port Charles Grill.

Rick: Well, I'm glad you both came.

Alexis: Thank you for the invitation.

Rick: So, Jordan, is this your first time to eat here?

Jordan: Yeah.

Rick: (Trying to come up with any type on conversation he can.) Well,

um, maybe, we should look at the menu.

Alexis: Yes, we should.

Scene 9-Bobbie, Luke, and Carly are at the funeral home looking at

coffins and making the plans for Tony's funeral.

Bobbie: Yes, I think this is the right one.

Carly: (Somber.) Yes.

Luke: (Calling to get the mortician’s attention.) Sir.

Mortician: Yes. I see you've decided on this one. (Bobbie nods.) We'll

have the body ready for you to look at two, so you can make sure that

everything is done properly.

Scene 10-A.J., Justus, and Edward are at the ELQ building.

Edward: So, what have the two of you found out about this Rex Stanton

scoundrel?

A.J.: He's completely legit. There's nothing anywhere that we can pull

out to make him sell his stock back to us.

Justus: And, he's just recently acquired forty nine percent of

Jacks-Deception.

Edward: You're kidding!

Scene 1-Lois picks up the telephone at the gatehouse.

Lois: Hello... Hi Alan... Brenda's what? She's in labor? Yeah, I'll be

right down there. (Hangs up.) I better call Julia.

Scene 2-Jason, Robin, and Garcia are at the police station.

Jason: Can I go now, Garcia?

Garcia: Yes. But, if I have any further questions you'll be available,

right?

Jason: Yes.

Jason and Robin are walking out of the station, they hit the street and

before they get in the limousine, Jason spots Taggert.

Renaldo: Jason?

Jason: Take Robin home, have Johnny come back for me.

Renaldo: Sure.

Robin: Jason, what is it?

Jason: Don't worry.

Scene 3-Felicia, Mac, and Frisco are at The Outback.

Frisco: Mac, Felicia?

Felicia goes to the door.

Felicia: Frisco.

Frisco: There you are.

Felicia: Hi. Come in.

Frisco walks in with a few duffel bags.

Mac: Frisco.

Frisco: Mac.

Felicia: How come you came here?

Frisco: I was going straight to the Brownstone, but I needed to talk to

you.

Felicia: About what?

Frisco: The girls.

Scene 4-Joe and Karen in a waiting area at the hospital.

Karen: Joe, what's wrong with you?

Joe: I can't stand to see those two together. They're so lovey dovey.

Julie dumps Frank, and hops right in bed with Jake. I don't get it. How

could she doe that?

Karen: I'm sure she has her reasons for what happened.

Joe: Well, I don't want to witness it.

Karen: Joe, how come you're so upset?

Joe: Karen, she hurt my brother. My big brother. The same brother who

stood up for me when our father yelled at us. The same brother who stood

up for me when the other kids picked on me. The same brother who came

back to town to help after our father died. The same brother who put me

through medical school. I owe Frank a lot. I don't want to see Frank get

hurt like he is getting hurt by Julie.

Scene 5-Kevin and Lucy are enjoying lunch at home, when the telephone

rings. Kevin answers it.

Kevin: Hello.

Lois: Hi. Is Lucy there?

Kevin: Sure. (He puts his hand on the mouthpiece.) Lucy, it's for you.

Lucy gets on the telephone.

Lois: Lucy, this is Lois.

Lucy: Yes.

Lois: I'm with Brenda at the hospital. She's in labor.

Lucy: Oh my gosh. Oh my. Um, oh.

Lois: I thought she'd like for you to be here, since you two are pretty

good friends.

Lucy: Yeah. I'll be right there.

Lucy hangs the telephone up.

Kevin: What was that about?

Lucy: Brenda, she's having her baby.

Scene 6-Monica runs into Lesley at the hospital.

Lesley: So, any word on the repairs to the mansion.

Monica: No. Lesley, why are you asking?

Lesley: Just wondering. So, where exactly is it you're staying?

Monica: The gatehouse.

Lesley: And Alan?

Monica: The hotel.

Lesley: Monica, I know I'm the last person you'd want to take advice

from, but I really think it would be best for you to forgive Alan. He

didn't know about his daughter, he had no idea he had a daughter. It's

not his fault.

Monica: Lesley, what gives you the right to give me advice about my

relationship with my husband. Just look at the mess you and Rick made of

things. I don't think you're in any position to be giving me advice!

Scene 7-Jeremy runs into Lesley who is on her way to her office.

Jeremy: Well, hello. (Lesley keeps on walking.) Lesley! (Lesley

finally turns around. Jeremy looks at her face.) Is something wrong?

Lesley: Monica's right.

Jeremy: Right about what?

Lesley: About me giving her advice, I shouldn't be.

Jeremy: Giving her advice about what?

Lesley: It doesn't matter.

Jeremy: Um, what do you say we leave and go somewhere else?

Lesley: Oh, I'd love to.

Scene 8-Katherine and Rex are at Mario's at a corner booth.

Katherine: So, now that you've got a large portion of ELQ stock and have

nearly half of Jacks-Deception, what's next?

Rex: I put my moles in motion at Jacks-Deception. And, you'll try to

push the relationship between Julie and Jake. The key to this is that

relationship. Now that the Quartermaines believe Dr. Morris is a part of

their family, she'll be able to soak them for money, and as long as she

marries Jake, we can take advantage of the situation.

Scene 9-Matt and Justin meet down at the docks.

Justin: You know someone died down here last night?

Matt: No, I didn't. How?

Justin: They were shot.

Matt: Who was it?

Justin: Some mobster from New York.

Matt: Someone you know?

Justin: (Looking a little tense and scared.) Someone I was working for.

Matt: You killed your boss?

Justin: I was hired to take out Jason Morgan and in the attempt instead

of hitting him I took out Pascucci.

Matt: Vincent Pascucci?

Justin: Yeah.

Matt: Man, you're in more hot water than I thought.

Scene 10-Tom goes into the on-call room at the hospital and finds Eve in

there reading.

Tom: Hello Dr. Lambert. Have you see Dr. Harmon?

Eve: No, why?

Tom: Well, it's nothing major. I was just hoping to talk to him about

something. Um, I guess I'll just page him. Thanks.

Tom leaves. Chris comes out of the back, where the showers and

restrooms are.

Chris: What did Hardy want with Matt?

Eve: I don't know, but it didn't sound like anything too serious, so

don't get your hopes up.

4/10/98-Part 246

Scene 1-Julia and Nick are standing outside an office building.

Julia: Are you sure you can handle this, because if you can't we can

call this meeting off.

Nick: Ms. Barrett, I can handle it. And, if we called this meeting off,

there's no telling whether or not we would be able to deal with these

people at a later time.

Julia: You're right. I wish I could have gotten a hold of Jax. But...

Nick: Trust me, I'll do my best. I did learn some things when I lived

under the Cassadine roof. Not to mention, I've met Mr. Garrison before,

I promise you I'll do my best.

Julia: Ok. Nickolas, thank you so much. (Kisses him on the cheek in her

excitement.) I better get to the hospital and hope Brenda hasn't already

had the baby.

Nick: Well, good luck.

Julia: Thanks.

Julia runs off. Nick sighs and enters the building with a look of

confidence.

Scene 2-Jason goes up to Taggert.

Jason: How do they let a creep like you out on the streets?

Taggert: Well, if it ain't good ol' anger boy, how ya doing Morgan?

Jason: I assume you're leaving town.

Taggert: Are you kidding? No, I, well, actually, I was looking for you.

Jason: Why?

Taggert: Thought maybe you could get me a job.

Jason: Drugs are bad business.

Taggert: That's not what Mr. Pascucci thought.

Jason: Well, he's dead.

Taggert: Let me guess, you had something to do with it.

Jason stares at Taggert with his stone face.

Scene 3-Frisco, Mac, and Felicia are at The Outback.

Mac: What about the girls?

Frisco: (He looks over at Felicia.) I wanted to know if the girls had

been told about Tony.

Felicia: Yes, I told them last night.

Frisco has tears in the corners of his eyes. Felicia looks at him like

she can see the pain he feels. Felicia hugs him. Mac stands there unsure

of what to do.

Scene 4-Jeremy and Lesley walk in the Grill. As Lesley sits, she notices

Rick across the room, he is seated with Alexis and Jordan.

Lesley: Jeremy, maybe this wasn't the best idea.

Jeremy: What? What is it?

Lesley: Over there.

Jeremy looks as Lesley motions her head to where Rick is.

Jeremy: Lesley, you really need to get over this. The best way is to do

something like this. (Sees Rick, Alexis, and Jordan getting up.)

Besides, it looks like Rick is leaving.

Jordan and Alexis exit the restaurant, but Rick comes over to the table.

Rick: Lesley, Jeremy, nice to see you this afternoon.

Lesley: Rick.

Jeremy: Hello Rick. I guess we'll see you back at the hospital later

today.

Rick: Um, yeah.

Lesley: Bye.

Rick walks off awkwardly.

Jeremy: Well, that wasn't so bad.

Scene 5-Justin and Matt are standing at the docks looking out on the

water.

Justin: Not only am I in hot water for killing Pascucci, which no one

has found out, yet, but they are sure to. But, I also was shooting at

Morgan, and as soon as he finds out I'm as good as dead.

Matt: Well, maybe there is a way around him finding out.

Justin: How? You know back home we could get ourselves in problems this

deep and we had someone who would solve them for us.

Matt: Well, at least you did. Justin, I never was in anything this

deep.

Justin: Ok, maybe you weren't, but don't you think that your hitman

father would have cleared it up for you if you screwed up like this.

Matt: That and he would give me a pat on the back. But, Justin, I never

wanted that type of life. That's why I'm here. That's why I left.

That's why I'm a doctor. I came here to get away from there.

Justin: So, you won't help me?

Matt: I didn't say that. It's just I can't get dragged into this whole

thing. Not only could that jeopardize my job at the hospital, but also

my life. I can't have that happen.

Justin: I realize that. But, do you have any suggestions of how I'm

getting out of this?

Matt: Get out of town.

Scene 6-Lucky and Emily are walking around the lake on the Quartermaine

estate.

Lucky: So, did your cousin finally tell you about that big rumor?

Emily: No. In fact, she was very close mouthed about when she was around

you. Actually, I'm beginning to worry that it has to do with one of us.

She didn't really want to tell me when Julianne was around either.

Lucky, is something wrong?

Lucky: I haven't done anything, trust me. You know I've been a little

bit busy recently. You?

Emily: Not that I can think of. Maybe it has to do with your uncle

Tony's death.

Lucky: I doubt that, Em. Why would she be wanting to tell you about it?

Emily: I don't know.

They stop when they get to the boathouse. Lucky looks up at the mansion

where there are workers working away on the house.

Lucky: So, when's the big house going to ready to be lived in?

Emily: Last I heard, three more days. It doesn't really matter to me,

at this point I'd rather live at the gatehouse. It's much more

peaceful.

Lucky: Peaceful? Has your family lost it's minds?

Emily: Lucky, my family isn't exactly altogether. In fact, there's been

an addition to it. I guess I hadn't gotten a chance to tell you about

it.

Lucky: Tell me.

Scene 7-Bobbie, Luke, and Carly go to Simone's apartment. Bobbie knocks

on the door. Simone answers. Simone hugs Bobbie.

Bobbie: Simone, thank you for watching Lucas for me.

Simone: It was no problem.

Lucas comes running in the room.

Lucas: Mommy!

Bobbie: Oh Lucas.

Bobbie picks him up and holds him.

Lucas: What's going on?

Bobbie: Lucas, we're going to spend sometime with Uncle Luke and Aunt

Laura.

Lucas: Why?

Bobbie: I think we need to get away from here, Lucas. I need to. Do

you understand?

Lucas looks into his mom's eyes and wipes away a tear.

Lucas: Yes.

Scene 8-A.J. and Justus in the ELQ building.

Justus: Well, I'm going now.

A.J.: Hot date with Dara?

Justus: Actually an appointment with some accountants.

A.J.: About what?

Justus: The hockey team. It appears that we have lost a lot of money

this last year on the team.

A.J.: You think we should cut our loses?

Justus: Yes. I also think that we need to go back and look at the

previous year's books, because there is no way what all of the board

members originally looked at was accurate. There is no way this could

go down the toilet that fast.

A.J.: Maybe I should contact Amanda Barrington about this.

Justus: No. Mrs. Barrington died.

A.J.: When?

Justus: A few weeks back.

A.J.: How come I didn't know this?

Justus: Lila told me.

A.J.: That explains it, I've barely seen any of the family outside of

grandfather and you. If we can't go after Amanda, then who?

Justus: Alexis Webber handled the papers on the deal, including all of

the financial statements. Right now, she's our only option to find

answers from.

A.J.: Ok. Um, does grandfather know?

Justus: Does it sound like he does?

A.J.: No. Well, the best thing we can do is just bring it up at the

next board meeting. Meanwhile, you're going to do what?

Justus: Meet with these accountants and see what our options are. Then,

I think I'm going to call up Alexis.

Scene 9-Brenda is in a hospital room. Lois and Lucy are sitting with

her. Brenda is experiencing contractions.

Brenda: Oh, my god. Oh, this is awful.

Lucy: (Trying to be cheery.) At least you have a better setting than

when I gave birth to Serena. Granted the hospital decor isn't the

greatest, but the cabin lacked having EXPERT MEDICAL ATTENTION! (She

looks around.) Where's the doctor?

Brenda: Um, Lucy, could you just SHUT UP!

Lucy is shocked by the way she talked to her.

Lois: Believe me, she didn't mean it Lucy.

Brenda: Lois, did you call Julia, Robin, and Mike?

Lois: Yes, and they're on their way. Bren, the only thing is that once

the docs get you to the delivery room, only one of us can be in there.

Julia comes running in the room.

Julia: Brenda, how are you doing? Are you doing ok?

Brenda has another contraction.

Brenda: (Yelling.) Ok wouldn't be the way I'd put it!

Julia: I understand.

The door opens again, and Alan enters.

Alan: Well, we're ready to go to the delivery room.

Lois: Oh my gosh, Bren, this is it.

Scene 10-Scott goes into General Hospital. He sees Amy at the nurses

station and walks over.

Scott: Hello Amy.

Amy: Well, hello Scott. What can I do for you today?

Scott: Um, I was wondering if you could tell me if Eve Lambert is on

duty today.

Amy: Yes, she is. In fact, I think I just saw her go in the on-call

room.

Scott: Um, thanks Amy.

Scott walks off.

Amy: Sure.

Scene 1-Luke, Carly, Bobbie, and Lucas return to the Spencer house where

Laura and Lesley Lu are.

Laura: Hi. Um, how did everything go?

Bobbie: (Looks at Laura strangely and is short with her answer.) Ok. I

think I'll go upstairs. Luke, will you entertain Lucas?

Luke: Sure.

Bobbie goes upstairs. Carly watches.

Carly: Um, I guess I should go.

Lucas: Wait!

Carly turns around and looks at Lucas.

Carly: Lucas, what is it?

Lucas: Don't go!

Carly: Lucas, what's wrong?

Lucas: Just don't leave. Promise me you won't leave like B.J. and

daddy.

Carly looks down at Lucas with tears in her eyes. She can not speak.

Scene 2-Emily and Lucky are down by the lake.

Lucky: Wow! I can't believe all of that. So, who is this sister of

yours?

Emily: Some intern at the hospital. I haven't even met her. Her name

is Julie.

Lucky looks off in the distance. He sees someone going into the

gatehouse.

Lucky: Um, Em, I think your cousin is home. Maybe now is the time to

find out what's going on with this rumor.

Emily: Yeah. You going home?

Lucky: I better. Bobbie and Lucas are staying at the house.

Emily: Tell Bobbie I'm sorry about everything.

Lucky: I will.

Emily kisses Lucky on the cheek.

Emily: I love you.

Lucky: Love ya, too.

Scene 3-Karen and Eve are in the on-call room, as Scott walks in.

Scott: Um, well, hello.

Karen: Scott, what are you doing her?

Scott: Uh, Karen, I actually came to talk to Eve.

Karen: (Sounding hurt.) Oh.

Scott: But, hey, why don't we get together sometime for lunch next week.

What do you say?

Karen: I'd love to.

Scott: Great.

Scott smiles and stands there silent and still.

Eve: Um, you said you wanted to talk to me?

Scott: Yes.

Eve: About?

Julie comes in.

Julie: Karen, they want you to assist with a delivery.

Karen: Ok.

Karen and Julie leave the room.

Eve: Well, Scott, what is it?

Scott: I was wondering if you wanted to go out on a date.

Eve: When?

Scott: Whenever you're free.

Eve: I can be free tonight.

Scott: Then tonight it is.

Eve: What do you have planned?

Scott: Oh, you'll see.

Scene 4-Laura is sitting out on the Spencer porch when Lucky comes home.

Laura: Lucky.

Luke: Hi mom. So, what's going on?

Laura: Well, your Aunt Bobbie and Lucas are here.

Luke: Something else is wrong, though, isn't it?

Laura: It's Lucas.

Luke: What about him?

Laura: He seems to think he's going to lose everybody. Carly was here

and he begged her to stay. He was afraid she was going to die too.

Luke: This is tough. So, is Carly staying too?

Laura: For tonight. But, this house's entirely too crowded for this to

continue. Bobbie's going to have to make a decision about where she

wants to live soon.

Nick comes walking up the porch with a big smile on his face.

Luke: Well, hello.

Nick: (Cheerful.) Hi!

Laura: Well, you must have had a good day. Care to tell us what

happened?

Scene 5-Alan, Brenda, and Julia are in a delivery room. Julia holds on

tightly to her sister's hand. Karen comes in the room.

Karen: Oh my. (Surprised to see Brenda is her patient.) Alan, Julie

told me you wanted me down here.

Alan: Yes, I have a patient scheduled for surgery in about 10 minutes

and Brenda's regular doctor is nowhere around, so I need you to deliver

this baby.

Alan walks out. Julia looks from Karen to her sister who is in the

midst of another contraction.

Brenda: Ow!

Karen: (She sits down in front of Brenda.) You're doing good Brenda.

It's time to push.

Scene 6-Lois, Ned, and Robin stand out in a waiting room. Ned is pacing.

Robin and Lois sit looking around for someone to be coming in or out.

Ned: How long did it take when you had Brooke?

Lois: I was in labor for a long time, Ned.

Robin: Mike should be here soon.

Lois: I wonder what's taking so long.

Robin: Well, when I called, he said he had to get somebody to look after

The Recovery Room.

Mike comes running in.

Mike: Where is she? Has she had the baby, yet? I'm not too late am I?

Scene 7-Scott takes Eve into a dark room at the Port Charles Hotel.

Eve: Ok, it's a dark hotel room. This is my big surprise?

Scott: Wait a second.

Scott flips on the lights and everything becomes visible. The room is

full of balloons.

Eve: You know?

Scott: Happy birthday, Eve.

Eve: How did you know?

Scott: I have my ways.

Eve: This is amazing. You barely know me and you are the only one to

have wished me a happy birthday today.

Scott: (Grinning.) Well, I guess that makes me pretty special, uh?

Eve: (Smiling up at him.) Yeah, it does.

Scott moves closer to Eve. He pulls her in and they enjoy a long kiss.

Scene 8-Emily and Nicole are in the gatehouse.

Nicole: What a day! (Nicole looks to the table in the front room and

spots a note there.) Hmmm... (She picks it up.)

Emily: What is it?

Nicole: Brenda went into labor. My parents are at the hospital. They

left Brooke with grandmother at the hotel.

Emily: Yeah. Um, Nicole, you know that rumor you were talking about

earlier.

Nicole: Yeah, what about it?

Emily: I was wondering if you could now tell me what it was about.

Nicole: Um, yeah, I guess I can. Uh, this is going to be tough.

Emily: What?

Nicole: It's about you and Lucky. And Em, if it's true, you don't have

to tell me. Really, it's none of my business. I just think you should

know what people are saying.

Emily: What?

Nicole: The rumor is the two of you are sleeping together.

Scene 9-Mike has just arrived. Ned, Lois, and Robin are standing in the

waiting area.

Lois: Mike, she is in the delivery room. Julia is with her. We haven't

gotten an update, yet.

Mike: I want to be there.

Robin: They only allow one person in there.

Lucy comes running up.

Lucy: Ok, good Mike, you're here. I just talked to Alan and he said

Brenda could delivery at anytime. So, why don't we get you down to the

delivery room.

Lucy starts to drag Mike to the delivery room.

Mike: Lucy, Robin just said they only allow one person in there.

Lois: Well, rules are meant to be broken.

Scene 10-Mike is pushed in the delivery room by Lucy. Outside, Ned,

Robin, and Lois gather behind Lucy and watch. Julia and Mike, who are

both in scrubs, are at Brenda's side. Brenda is huffing and puffing.

She is covered in sweat.

Mike: I know there's only supposed to be one person in here, so if you

want me to leave...

Karen: (Looks up and smiles.) No, you don't have to leave. Your

grandson is on his way. Come on Brenda, give me one more good push.

Mike and Julia help Brenda push. Jax appears in the group gathered

outside just in time to hear the cry of the newborn baby.

Mike: Michael.

Julia is crying. Mike is smiling proudly. Karen hands Brenda the baby.

Brenda takes the baby. She begins to cry.

Brenda: Michael Corinthos, the third. My baby.

Julia notices Jax outside of the room, she sees him smiling at the sight

of the baby. She smiles.

Scene 1-Lucky, Luke, Laura, Bobbie, Nick, Carly, Lucas, and Lu are in

the living room, all dressed in black. They are about to leave. Bobbie

looks at Luke.

Bobbie: Well, this is it.

Luke hugs her. They all slowly walk out. Lucky's at the end of the line.

They're off the porch, when he turns to lock the door. He locks it, and

then he turns back around to find Emily standing there.

Lucky: Emily, what are you doing here?

Emily: After the funeral, I want to talk to you.

Lucky: About?

Emily: Something Nicole told me.

Scene 2-Ned, Lois, Jax, Julia, and Mike are in the hall looking in a

room full of babies. They are all looking at Michael in the first row.

Mike: Oh, he's just perfect.

Julia: The most beautiful baby I've ever seen.

Jax looks over to Julia and sees the excitement in her eyes.

Ned: Well, I think we'll go check on the mother, and see how she is

doing this morning.

Ned and Lois walk off. Mike continues to stare at his baby grandson.

Jax: (Whispers to Julia.) Give you any ideas?

Julia looks at him shocked.

Scene 3-Edward, A.J., and Justus are at the ELQ building in A.J.'s

office.

Edward: Alexis Davis! Yes, she must be responsible for this. That no

good Cassadine!

Justus: Edward, the name is Webber. And, we can't be sure that she had

anything to do with this.

Edward: Oh well, just because she married that poor misguided son of

Steve's doesn't make her any less of a Cassadine.

A.J.: So, you really think she is behind this?

Edward: Yes, and I want you and Justus to go after her.

Justus: I don't understand why you just don't sell the team and cut your

loses.

A.J.: Grandfather is out for revenge. We can fold the team up, insuring

we get a tax break, and then we can go after Alexis.

Edward: (Smiling.) Good thinking my boy.

Scene 4-Scott and Eve are in bed in the hotel room.

Scott: So, did you enjoy your birthday?

Eve: Immensely.

Scott: That's terrific!

Scott gets up and starts to get dressed.

Eve: Where are you going?

Scott: (In somber voice.) To a funeral.

Eve: Oh, Dr. Jones?

Scott: Yes. (Turns to Eve, as he is tying his tie.) Sorry to be such a

downer. You know I'd love to spend the rest of the day here with you.

Eve: Yeah, I do.

Scene 5-Jax and Julia are standing in the hall at the hospital.

Julia: No, I'm not getting any ideas. I can't even picture myself being

a mother to anyone. But, then again, I couldn't picture Brenda being a

mother, either, and here we are.

Jax: Yes, here we are. So?

Julia: So, um, how did Nickolas do with the Garrison people?

Jax: It seems our intern is on his way up the corporate ladder. He

inked the deal all by himself.

Julia: (Smiling.) That's great.

Scene 6-Lucy and Kevin are in Brenda's hospital room. Ned and Lois come

in.

Lucy: Well, um, we better get to the chapel for the funeral.

Brenda: Give Bobbie my condolences.

Karen: We will.

Lucy and Kevin leave.

Lois: So, how you feelin'?

Brenda: I'm ok. A little tires. But, ok. I'm anxious to see Michael.

Ned: You're just in luck.

Ned opens the door. Mike comes in holding Michael. Mike hands the baby

to Brenda.

Scene 7-Jason and Robin are standing in the living room at the

penthouse.

Robin: Jason, are you sure that everything is ok?

Jason: Everything is fine. Now, Johnny's going to take you to the

funeral. I have some business to take care of.

Robin: Ok. Be careful.

Robin walks out, as Renaldo holds the door.

Renaldo: I'll walk you down to the car, Mrs. Morgan.

Renaldo shuts the door and then they both get into the elevator.

Jason: Ok, where are you Taggert?

Scene 8-The hospital chapel is full of people for Tony's funeral. First

row on left: Lucky, Bobbie, Luke, Laura, On right: Frisco, Felicia,

Georgie, Maxie, Second row on left: A.J., Carly, Lucas, Nick, On right:

Tom, Tommy, Simone, Mac, Third row on left: Audrey, Julie, Jake, Ellen,

On right: Jeremy, Lesley, Lee, Gail, Fourth row on left: Monica, Alan,

Edward, Lila, On right: Scott, Serena, Lucy, Kevin, Fifth row on left:

Joe, Karen, Mary, Jeff, On right: Robin, Amy, Grace. Tom speaks first.

Tom: Tony was one of the best doctors I have ever worked with. He was

devoted to his patients. He always felt that the patients deserved his

full attention. Although, Tony made some mistakes in his life, he was a

very good man. He will be missed by everyone here.

Luke gets up to speak next.

Luke: Tony Jones. Ex-doc-bro-in-law. He loved Bobbie, you could always

tell, no matter what happened, they loved each other, and they both knew

that. And that's a love that Bobbie will share with Lucas. That love

is the most important thing that they will share.

Frisco gets up to speak.

Frisco: My brother and I, weren't always close. We had issues between us

when he first came to Port Charles, but we soon got over them and moved

on. Tony was good at that, he had that ability to roll with the punches,

take life as it comes. He was always there for me when I needed him. I

just wish I could have been there for him when he needed me most.

Scene 9-Brenda is holding Michael as Ned, Lois, and Mike watch.

Brenda: This is incredible.

Jax and Julia come in the room. Julia stares at Brenda holding the

baby.

Julia: Brenda, I'm so proud of you.

Brenda: Thanks Julia. I really couldn't have made it through without all

of you, though. You all helped me through the last eight months. I

really appreciate that. (Michael lets out a small cry.) And so does

Michael. (She thinks a little.) And, so does Sonny.

Mike tilts his head upwards as a few tears stream down his face.

Scene 10-Matt and Justin are at the entrance to the hospital.

Matt: I'm surprised you haven't left town, yet.

Justin: I just found out that Dawn's mother is Monica Quartermaine.

Matt: Was.

Justin: What do you mean was?

Matt: I hate to break this to you, man, but after doing some more

digging for you, I found out that she died or more accurately she was

killed.

Justin breaks down in tears.
