/17/98-Part 255

Scene 1-Alexis, Jordan, Steve, and Jeff are in the Webber kitchen.

Alexis: Anyhow, I have a meeting with Justus. He has promised to help

me investigate this.

Jeff: Do you think this could be Helena?

Jordan: Who?

Alexis: Sweetie, don't worry about this, this is nothing that you have

to worry about. Just remember that you are safe.

Steve: Um, Jordan, why don't I take you to the park?

Jordan: Ok, I'd love to go to the park.

Steve: Ok, then let's go.

Steve and Jordan leave.

Jeff: Alexis, do you really believe that we are all safe?

Alexis: I don't know.

Scene 2-Joe and Frank watch as Jake heads over to Julie and Karen.

Jake: What's wrong?

Karen: Um, Jake, her sister's missing.

Jake: Sister?

Julie: Emily. I just saw Alan, and he told me.

Jake puts his arms around Julie. Karen walks over to a disgusted Joe

and Frank.

Frank: What's wrong with her?

Karen: Her sister is missing. (Joe and Frank look at her baffled.)

Emily.

Joe: Oh... (Frank starts to walk over to her, but Joe pulls him back.)

Don't Frank, don't.

Scene 3-Garcia, Mac, Taggert, and Felicia are at The Outback. Taggert

points his gun at Garcia.

Garcia: Taggert!

Taggert: Hello Alex. Why don't you move over there by the lovebirds.

Oh, and drop your gun right there by the door.

Garcia slowly drops a gun and walks over to Mac and Felicia.

Garcia: What's this about?

Mac: Taggert seems to think I have something of his.

Taggert: He does and he's going to give it to me or I'll blow all your

heads off.

Garcia gets a look of heavy concentration on his face. Then, there is a

loud bang.

Scene 4-Jason walks into the gatehouse, where Ned and Lois are waiting.

Jason: Thank for calling me. Let me see that note.

Lois hands him the note.

Ned: Do you know who it is?

Jason: Yeah, I've been looking for him.

Lois: Ned called Garcia, but he hasn't arrived, yet.

Jason: Don't worry, I'll find this guy on my own.

Jason walks out. Monica and Alan come running in. They notice the look

on Jason's face.

Alan: What is it?

Ned: Um, whoever has Emily is wanting to make a deal with Jason.

Monica: She was kidnapped because of Jason?

Scene 5-Justin goes into Kelly's. Carly is up at the counter.

Carly: Hello. Can I help you?

Justin: Yes, I'm looking for a room.

Carly: Well, we have some vacant rooms.

Justin: Great, I'll take it.

Carly: Um, I have to be going, so I can't show you the room, but here's

the keys. I have a family emergency, so the place is closed, but you can

take a look at the room.

Carly hands him the keys and leaves.

Justin: Perfect.

Scene 6-Jax and Julia are in the office.

Jax: The way Spencer darted out of Kelly's, I wonder if he'll show up

this afternoon.

Julia: Well, I'm sure he will. But, I'm not going to stick around to

find out.

Jax: Where are you going?

Julia: I'm going to go visit Brenda at the hospital.

Jax: Oh, ok. Well, tell her I said hello.

Julia: What are you going to be doing?

Jax: Trying to figure out where Katherine is. I need some work done

concerning the new building.

Julia: Well, I'm sure she'll be around here sometime.

Julia walks out.

Scene 7-Scott goes to the door of his mansion. Bobbie and Lucas are

standing there.

Scott: Serena! (Serena comes running in.) Bobbie, Lucas, I'm glad you

decided to come. (To Bobbie.) I'm sorry I didn't come to that lunch, but

you understand why, don't you?

Bobbie: Yeah, the bad blood between you and my brother, it just

shouldn't be mixed.

Scott: Well, come in.

Bobbie and Lucas come in looking at everything in awe.

Lucas: Wow! This place is cooler than Wyndemere!

Bobbie: And, from the looks of this house from the outside, bigger than

the Quartermaines.

Scott: Correct on both accounts. Um, Lucas this is my daughter Serena.

Serena shyly waves at Lucas who is smiling.

Lucas: Do you have a pool in this place?

Serena: Yeah. Follow me.

Serena walks off with Lucas following behind.

Bobbie: Hey you two, no swimming unsupervised.

Lucas: I know. Anyhow, I don't have my swim trunks.

Lucas and Serena walk on.

Scott: Well, I guess they get a long pretty well already.

Bobbie: Yeah. But, you know what, I'd feel better if we followed them,

just in case they decide to...

Scott: Yeah.

Scott and Bobbie run after them.

Scene 8-Mac and Felicia run to hug each other, as Garcia goes over to

check out Taggert's body lying on the floor of The Outback.

Taggert: (Barely getting the words out.) You always had to do the right

thing...

Garcia goes down to Taggert and checks his pulse.

Garcia: He's dead.

Mac: Good. Tell me, where did you learn a trick like that?

Garcia: A trick like what?

Felicia: Well, you shot him.

Garcia: No, I didn't.

Mac: What? There's no one else around here.

Felicia: If you didn't shoot Taggert, then who did?

The door to the restaurant swings open. They all lock in shock at the

person holding a gun.

Mac: Robin!

Scene 9-Lucky and Julianne are looking around Wyndemere. It is dusty

and there are cob webs all over.

Julianne: It's no use. If this Cassadine woman really does have Emily.

She doesn't have her here. Besides, if she really wanted to stick it to

your family or you, why would she keep Emily in Port Charles. Wouldn't

she take her to somewhere where you couldn't find Emily?

Lucky: If there's anything I've learned from my days on the run, always

expect the unexpected.

Julianne: Well, then maybe this woman doesn't have Emily, maybe somebody

else does. Maybe it has nothing to do with you. Or maybe Em decided to

runaway, I mean, it wouldn't be the first time.

Lucky: No, she wouldn't runaway and not tell me. Besides, why would she

leave town, now?

Julianne: Ok. But what about her brother, uh, Jason? He is in the mob.

Lucky: If this has anything to do with him, she could be in major

trouble. I think we should go to the Qs and see if there are any clues.

Scene 10-Nick, Laura, Lesley Lu, and Luke are in the Spencer living

room.

Nick: (To Luke.) So, you just think that Emily took off?

Luke: Yeah, possibly.

Nick: Why? Why would she do that?

Luke: Things are difficult at Chez Quartermaine? I don't know.

Nick: No, I don't think so. I think someone kidnapped her. Or

something... Something like that.

Laura: Nickolas, I'm sure that her family is already working on trying

to figure out where she is.

Nick: Where's Lucky?

Luke: We don't know.

Nick: Emily told me about that time they ran off to find her aunt. You

know Lucky's going to go out there to find her. What if this has to do

with Emily's brother? Lucky could be in serious danger.

Laura: Luke.

Luke: I'll see if I can get a hold of Jason.

Scene 1-Alexis and Jeff go to their front door and find Justus there.

Jeff: Hello Justus.

Alexis: Justus, this is my husband Jeff.

Justus: Hello Jeff. It's nice to meet you.

Jeff: Um, well, I really have to be going.

Alexis: (She kisses him on the cheek.) Bye.

Jeff leaves.

Justus: Well, I guess we should get down to business.

Alexis: Yes.

Scene 2-Renaldo and Jason are standing at the docks. Jason stares out

at the water, fearing the worst.

Renaldo: Jason?

Jason: (Snapped out of his thought.) Yes?

Renaldo: What do you want us to do next?

Jason: Get the guys to canvas the entire waterfront area. I want them to

check out every building. I MEAN EVERY BUILDING! Every warehouse! Every

storage facility! Every apartment complex! Every abandon building!

Everywhere down her!

Renaldo: Ok.

Renaldo walks off to a group of men. Jason stands there and looks

around.

Scene 3-Bobbie, Lucas, Serena, and Scott are in the dining room at

Scott's mansion. They have just finished eating dinner.

Bobbie: We had a real nice evening.

Lucas: This place was so cool! I had fun!

Scott: Well, I'm glad the two of you enjoyed it. Come back anytime.

Serena: (Tugs at Scott's suit.) Daddy, can I show Lucas the real cool

bird feeder you put up in the front yard?

Scott: Sure.

Serena bolts out the door, as Lucas follows.

Bobbie: They hit it off.

Scott: Yeah. Um, Bobbie, if there is anything I can do for you or for

Lucas, just say the word.

Bobbie: Thanks Scotty. I really appreciate what you've done.

Scott: It's nothing. Bobbie, I really hope that things get better for

you.

Bobbie: Thanks.

Scott hugs Bobbie.

Scene 4-Robin stands over Taggert's body. Garcia, Mac, and Felicia stand

shocked. Finally, Garcia goes to Robin and takes the gun out of her

hand.

Garcia: It's ok Robin. It's ok.

Robin: I killed him... I...

Mac finally snaps out his complete shock and goes over to his niece.

Mac: It's ok. It's ok. Robin, how did you know we were in trouble?

Robin: I... Um, can we do something about the body?

Garcia: I just called the coroner's office. They are going to come pick

it up.

Mac: Robin?

Robin: Oh, I came over to ask you about Taggert. He and Jason had a

meeting.

Felicia: Jason met with Taggert?!?

Robin: It had to do with the shooting at the docks and who shot at him.

Garcia: Did he tell you who it was?

Robin: No, but from what I gather whoever it was has his sister.

Felicia: Emily's missing?

Garcia: That's why I came over here. I was hoping for your help, Mac.

Scene 5-Alexis and Justus are in Alexis' office at the Webber house.

Justus: So, you think this is Helena's handy work?

Alexis: Possibly.

Justus: Why do you think that?

Alexis: She'll do anything to threaten me and my family. And, in the

process anything to be a Quartermaine nemesis. It's the only thing that

makes sense to me.

Justus: What you just said about being a Quartermaine nemesis, do you

think she would go as far as kidnapping?

Alexis: What? Has something happened?

Justus: Emily's missing. That's all I really know about it. I haven't

heard anything else from the family. So, I don't know if they have any

leads or anything, but do you think she could have kidnapped Emily?

Alexis: It's possible. Especially since Emily was with the Spencers when

they escaped from that compound Helena had them locked up in.

Scene 6-Lucky and Julianne go to the gatehouse, where Ned, Lois, Nicole,

Brooke, Alan, and Monica are.

Monica: So, where the hell is Garcia?

Ned: I don't know, I keep calling, but they keep telling me he is out

and that he should be over soon.

Lois: Well, it's been several hours.

Alan: Do you think Jason has made any headway?

Ned: Maybe.

Nicole notices Lucky and Julianne standing outside the window. She

walks over and opens the door.

Nicole: Lucky, Julianne.

Ned, Lois, Monica, and Alan turn around.

Alan: Spencer! Do you know where my daughter is?

Lucky: Um, sir, I don't know. I was hoping you had found her.

Alan: We haven't. How am I supposed to believe you? You were the last

one to see her. How do I know that this isn't some scheme you cooked up

and that you aren't running away with Emily?

Lucky: It's not, believe me.

Ned: Alan, you know this has nothing to do with Lucky. I told you about

the note.

Lucky: Note? What note?

Scene 7-Steve and Jordan walk into the Webber home. Alexis is pacing

around.

Steve: Something wrong?

Alexis: Oh, I'm glad the two of you are home.

Alexis runs to Jordan and hugs her.

Jordan: What's wrong?

Alexis: Um, nothing, sweetie. Uh, I think you should head up to bed.

Jordan: Ok.

Jordan heads upstairs. Steve watches her walk all the way up.

Steve: Ok, what's going on?

Alexis: Emily Quartermaine's missing, and I'm afraid Helena is back. In

fact, I think she set me up. Actually, I'm almost one-hundred percent

sure she set me up.

Steve: Emily's missing? Um, I think I need to go.

Steve runs out the door.

Scene 8-Lucky is in the Quartermaine mansion. He looks around inside and

notices there are several pictures scattered. It makes a trail leading

to the attic. Lucky looks in the attic, but can not find any clues. He

goes to Emily's room, looks around not finding anything until he gets

back to the door and notices a bracelet.

Lucky: The bracelet she got from Sly. That must be what she meant by

returning something to someone.

Nicole comes up.

Nicole: I guess you had enough of the yelling, too.

Lucky: Actually, I thought maybe I'd find some sort of clue.

Nicole: What's that?

Lucky: The bracelet that Sly gave Emily for her birthday.

Nicole: What does that mean?

Lucky: She came back here to get this and give it back to Sly. Where's

Julianne?

Nicole: I think she went home about the time you left the gatehouse.

So, what are you going to do?

Lucky: Jason's out there looking for Emily, right?

Nicole: Yes.

Lucky: Someone should stay here, in case, someone calls or something.

Nicole: I'll stay with you.

Scene 9-Jason and Renaldo stand at the docks.

Jason: You didn't find anything?

Renaldo: Nothing.

Jason: Ok, I want every building in Port Charles checked out. Every

building!

Renaldo: Tonight?

Jason: Yes, tonight, NOW!

Scene 10-Julia stands at Brenda's hospital door. Brenda is holding

Michael. The Sister Hazel "Look to the Children" plays.

Scene 1-Matt is on the telephone in the on-call room.

Matt: Damn it! Justin pick up!

Matt slams the telephone down. Jeremy and Ellen enter the room

Ellen: Matt!

Jeremy: Did you just slam that phone down?

Matt: Yes. Uh, I have a patient I have to go check on.

Matt leaves.

Jeremy: What was that all about?

Ellen: I'm not sure. So, what did you want to talk to me about?

Scene 2-Kevin and Lucy are in bed. Lucy wakes, goes to the window, and

looks out on the beautiful day. Kevin wakes and watches.

Karen: Good morning.

Lucy: Good morning, doc.

Karen: Penny for your thoughts.

Lucy: Kevin, what do you think about kids?

Karen: They're cute I guess.

Lucy: No silly! What do you think about having kids?

Scene 3-Jeff is at the nurses station looking at some paper work. Tom

walks up.

Jeff: Tom, where's Monica?

Tom: I'm not sure. She just said she had a family emergency.

Jeff: Well, I'm just curious since I have to cover one of her surgeries

today.

Tom: Well, your guess is as good as mine.

Amy walks up.

Amy: What are we guessing about?

Jeff: Monica. Uh, Amy, I bet you know what kind of family emergency

came up.

Amy: Yeah, Emily's missing.

Scene 4-Bobbie is in the hall at the Brownstone with Lucas standing by

her ready to go to school. Simone and Tommy come downstairs.

Simone: Come on Tommy, we're going to be late.

Simone and Tommy arrive at the bottom of the stairs.

Bobbie: Thanks for taking Lucas to school for me.

Simone: No problem. Well, come on boys.

Lucas and Tommy rush out the door.

Lucas: Last one to the car is a rotten egg!

Simone follows them and shuts the door. Bobbie stands there looking at

the door, then she goes to the window and looks out to the stoop.

Memories of Tony flash through her mind. Then, she sees Carly walking up

the steps. She opens the door to her.

Carly: Hello.

Bobbie: Carly, is something wrong?

Scene 5-Karen, Joe, and Julie go into the on-call room where Ellen and

Jeremy are.

Julie: Perfect timing. Joe and Karen can I talk to you?

Joe: Sure, Dr. Erickson.

Ellen gets up and leaves. Julie follows her out.

Karen: What is it Dr. Erickson?

Jeremy: Tom Hardy has been checking up on your experiment and there are

some good signs. The hospital's already prepared to offer the two of you

residences in research.

Joe: You're kidding!

Jeremy: No.

Scene 6-Laura sits in the kitchen. She thinks about when the Cassadines

kidnapped her. She remembers how she feared Helena and Stavros. Then,

she remembers how gentle and kind and caring Stefan was.

Laura: He changed so much.

Nick comes in the room.

Nick: Who?

Laura: Oh, nobody.

Nick: What were you thinking about?

Laura: This kidnapping.

Nick: It brought back bad memories?

Scene 7-Robin wakes up in her old room at Mac's. Felicia and Mac are

downstairs. Robin comes down.

Robin: Where's Jason?

Felicia: You're awake.

Robin: Yeah. Where's Jason?

Mac: Robin, are you ok, after what happened yesterday?

Robin: WHERE IS JASON?

Mac: He is looking for Emily. He asked us to keep an eye on you.

Robin: I have to find him!

Felicia: Why?

Robin: I have to find out what he was doing with Taggert.

Mac: Robin, calm down. Jason won't be able to answer any of your

questions until he finds his sister.

Robin: Her being missing is Jason's fault.

Felicia: What?

Robin: It's because of what he does. Someone took Emily to get to him.

It's his fault.

Scene 8-Kevin and Lucy in their bedroom at the lighthouse.

Kevin: Children?

Lucy: Yes doc, children. What do you think about?

Kevin: I think... I think it would be a great idea. But, aren't you a

little worried that with my family background that they might end up

with some mental illness.

Lucy: Doc, any child that WE had would be absolutely PERFECT.

Lucy walks to Kevin and kisses him.

Kevin: Well, anytime you're ready to start working on it, I am, too.

Lucy pushes Kevin to the bed.

Lucy: I'm ready, willing, and able.

Scene 9-Matt passes Jake in the hall.

Jake: Hey man, where you headed to?

Matt turns around.

Matt: Um, I have a friend to check on. Could you cover for me?

Jake: Yeah, sure.

Matt: Thanks.

Jake walks on towards the on-call room. He spots Ellen talking to

Julie.

Ellen: I understand this must be rough on you.

Julie: Yes, especially since I haven't actually gotten to know my

family.

Ellen: Well, if you need to you can take off.

Julie: Thanks.

Ellen walks off and Jake walks up to Julie.

Jake: Everything ok?

Julie: Actually, I think I'm going to go see the Quartermaines.

Julie walks off.

Scene 10-Tom stands at the nurses station and Simone walks up to.

Simone: Um, Tom, can we have lunch together this afternoon?

Tom: Sure, what's up?

Simone looks over to see Amy trying to be sneaking and listen to their

conversation.

Simone: I'll tell you at lunch.

Tom: Kelly's at noon?

Simone: Sure.

Tom: See you then.

Tom walks off. Amy walks over to Simone.

Amy: Was that about that call from Portland?

Scene 1-Eve goes to the nurses station to get her message. Grace is

standing there.

Grace: You have several phone messages from a certain admirer of yours.

Eve: Scott?

Grace: Yes.

Eve picks up her messages and begins to rifle through them. Karen comes

up from behind.

Karen: Hello Grace, Eve.

Grace: Hi.

Karen watches as Eve reads through her messages.

Karen: So, who are all those messages from?

Scene 2-Edward and A.J. are in a conference room at the Port Charles

Hotel.

Edward: I still don't care what Justus says. It was bad business to

have any sort of dealings with that Cassadine woman.

A.J.: Grandfather, it wasn't me, and it wasn't Justus, blame Ned.

Besides, I think Justus knows what he is talking about. Plus, Alexis has

declared her independence from the Cassadines, why would she want to

stab us in the back.

Justus walks in.

Justus: Good point. And, here's another tid bit. I looked into Amanda

Barrington's death and discovered she died of arsenic poisoning.

Edward: Now, who on earth would have wanted to poison her?

Justus: Well, I have a theory.

Scene 3-Alan and Monica are in the Quartermaine living room.

Monica: At least now we can worry in the comfort of our own home.

Alan: (Clearly somewhere else.) Yeah.

Monica: Alan, what are you thinking about?

Alan: Julie.

Monica: What about her?

Alan: When she came here and offered her help, I treated her awful, I

feel so bad.

Monica: Alan, I'm sure she understands that this situation has got you

under a lot of stress.

Alan: I'm just so afraid.

Monica: We both are. (Walks to Alan and hugs him. Then, there's a knock

at the door. Opens the door and finds Gail.) Gail.

Gail: I just heard about Emily.

Gail hugs Monica.

Scene 4-Justus, Edward, and A.J. are in the conference room at the Port

Charles Hotel.

A.J.: What?

Justus: Helena Cassadine poisoned her to keep her quiet about the deal

that they made.

Edward: For Pete's sake, why would she do that?

Alexis enters the room.

Alexis: Like he said to keep her quiet. (They all turn around to see

her.) Has there been any word on Emily, yet?

A.J.: No, not yet. But, we know that whoever has Emily, they took her

because of Jason.

Scene 5-Nick walks into the J&J Jacks office.

Jax: Hello Spencer. I'm surprised to see you this morning. I thought

maybe you would be out looking for Emily Quartermaine.

Nick: There's not much I can do. And, I recall you saying something

about a big meeting concerning the new building.

Jax: Yes, we're finalizing plans on the opening of the J&J Jacks

building. (Katherine and Julia enter.) I guess we're ready to begin,

then.

Nick smiles to Julia and gives her a little wave.

Scene 6-Frank comes out of the ER, after dropping off a patient. Then,

he is getting ready to leave when he sees Julie. There are tears

streaming down her face. He starts to walk to her, but then he sees

Chris come up to her and put his arm around her. Frank takes off.

Scene 7-Joe goes in the lab to find Rick and Tom looking at some of the

lab result charts.

Joe: Dr. Hardy, Dr. Webber. What are you two doing here?

Rick: Oh, hi Joe.

Tom: Joe. Rick and I were just looking at your lab results. We've

contacted the New England Journal of Medicine and they would like to

publish some of your preliminary results.

Joe: The New England Journal of Medicine?!? You're kidding.

Rick: No, we aren't kidding Joe.

Joe: (Very excited.) Oh my god. This is terrific!

Scene 8-Jake and Rex are at Rex's penthouse.

Rex: So, her "sister" is missing?

Jake: Yeah.

Rex: Ok. Well, as soon as they find the girl, you get Julie to marry

you.

Jake: How?

Rex: That's what you'll have to figure out.

Scene 9-Jason is standing outside a warehouse. Renaldo comes out.

Renaldo: Nothing boss.

Jason: Where the HELL can this guy be?

Johnny drives up.

Johnny: Boss there was a message on the machine at the penthouse.

Jason: What did he say?

Johnny: He'd meet you at Mario's at six tonight to negotiate.

Scene 10-Justin has Emily tied up and gagged.

Justin: How are you doing? Good, huh? (Emily squirms. He takes the

gag off her mouth and covers it with his hand.) Are you hungry?

Emily: (Through his hand.) Yes.

Justin puts the gag back on her mouth.

Justin: Ok. I'll go get us something to eat.

He goes to the radio that's on the dresser and turns it on and up real

loud. Then, he goes to the door, walks out, and shuts is quietly.

Scene 1-Steve, Nicole, and Lucky are downstairs at Kelly's sitting at

the counter.

Steve: So, this is all we can do?

Lucky: I have no idea what else we could possibly do. Jason's got his

people looking everywhere and the police are all over it. I wish there

was some sort of clue as to where this guy might have taken her.

Justin comes downstairs.

Justin: Hi. I live upstairs and was wondering if I could get some

muffins.

Lucky: Uh, sure. I don't remember you. When did you move in?

Justin: The other day.

Steve: New in town?

Justin: No. I just decided I needed a change. Where's the woman who

was here the other night?

Lucky: Carly? She had some family things to take care of. I'm here

cousin, Lucky, Lucky Spencer.

Lucky puts out his hand and Justin shakes it.

Justin: Justin Farrell. Nice to meet you. (Steve hands him muffins and

he plops down cash.) I'm going to take those back up to my room, if you

don't mind.

Lucky: No problem.

Justin goes upstairs.

Nicole: Was he a little strange or was it just me?

Scene 2-Matt goes to Justin's old apartment. He gets the key from under

the welcome mat and goes in. He goes to the phone, where an address is

written down on a notepad. The address is 66 Harborview Road.

Matt: The Quartermaines? Oh man, don't tell me you kidnapped Emily

Quartermaine.

Scene 3-Carly and Bobbie are at the Brownstone.

Bobbie: That's awful. How are the Quartermaines taking it?

Carly: I'm not sure. I try to avoid them when they are given an

opportunity to argue about something.

Bobbie: That's understandable. (Bobbie looks into Carly's eyes.)

Carly?

Carly: Yes?

Bobbie: Why are you really here?

Scene 4-Robin, Felicia, and Mac are at Mac's house.

Mac: You're right, Robin, it probably is Jason's fault.

Felicia: Mac!

Mac: Look Felicia, I'm just telling her the truth.

Felicia: Don't you think we should talk about what happened last night.

Robin: Look, I'd rather not. Besides, Brenda gets out of the hospital

today. I'd like to go see her.

Felicia: Well, we'll go with you.

Robin: Why don't you spend sometime with Georgie and Maxie?

Felicia: They're at school today.

Mac: We'll both go with you.

Robin: What about The Outback?

Mac: Robin, what's wrong?

Robin: I wish you'd both quit hovering over me and treating me like I'm

fragile. I know what happened last night and I can deal with it. Why

can't you?

Scene 5-Kevin and Lucy are lying in bed.

Lucy: Doc, what kind of mother do you think I would be?

Kevin: What do you mean?

Lucy: I mean... Actually, what I should have said is do you think I

would be a good mother?

Kevin: Lucy, I think you would be a terrific mother. Every time I see

you with Serena you have this way with her. You have this motherly way

with her and you're terrific.

Kevin looks into her eyes and kisses her.

Lucy: Do you really have to go to the hospital today?

Kevin: Yeah, I do. And, you probably should go to the office and check

up on your pal Scott.

Lucy: Yeah, you're right. Uh, just one more kiss.

Scene 6-Tom and Simone meet at Kelly's for lunch. Lucky, Steve, and

Nicole are up at the counter talking.

Tom: So, what's this about? Is it about Tommy?

Simone: No Tom. It's not about Tommy. It has to do with Tommy, though.

It's about a job offer I received recently.

Lucky comes over to the table.

Lucky: Doctors Hardy, what can I get you for lunch?

Scene 7-Jeremy and Lesley walks out of the Port Charles Grill and go up

to a hotel room. The Barbara Streisand and Bryan Adams song "Finally

Lesley and Jeremy continue to kiss as Lesley runs her fingers through

Scene 8-Karen goes into the on-call room, she has her locker open and

then slams it shut. Joe comes out of the bathroom.

Joe: Hey, what's wrong?

Karen: My father and Eve are dating.

Joe: So?

Karen: So!?! So?!? My father is dating someone MY age! Do I need to

explain further?

Joe: Ok, ok. Um, I have some news that I think you will classify as

great.

Karen: What?

Joe: Dr. Hardy and Dr. Webber were looking at our lab results and they

have spoken to the New England Journal of Medicine and they want to

publish our current results.

Karen: That's great!

Scene 9-A.J., Edward, Alexis, and Justus are in the conference room at

the Port Charles Hotel.

Edward: I see. So, A.J., do you think we can trust her?

A.J.: Yes, grandfather.

Edward: Ok, now how are we going to stick it to Helena?

Alexis: You let me worry about her.

Justus: If you'll excuse me, I'm going to the police station and see if

there is any word on Emily, and then I'm going to take Dara to lunch.

A.J.: Thanks Justus.

Scene 10-Jax, Katherine, Nick, and Julie are at the J&J Jacks office.

Jax: So, it's set, the new J&J Jacks building and J&J Jacks of Port

Charles opens May 1st.

Scene 1-Chris and Julie are in a waiting are at the hospital.

Chris: I'm sorry. But, I'm sure Dr. Quartermaine didn't mean to be so

rude. I'm sure he's under a lot of stress with your sister missing.

Julie: Yeah, I know. I just...

Jake comes up to the two.

Jake: Things with the Quartermaines not turn out as well as you had

hoped?

Julie: You could say that.

Scene 2-Jason is at the penthouse, sitting by the balcony windows

looking out at the city. Renaldo opens the door and Ned comes in.

Renaldo: Mr. Ashton.

Ned: Any luck, yet?

Jason: I have a meeting to negotiate with him at six tonight.

Ned: Him? Who is it?

Jason: No one you know. Just trust me. I know what I'm doing.

Scene 3-Justin is feeding Emily the muffins. The radio continues to

blast.

Justin: I'm glad you decided against screaming. You'd only lose your

voice.

Emily: Yeah, whatever. So, what are you going to do with me?

Justin: Most likely I'm going to make a trade.

Emily: For what?

Justin: For my life.

Scene 4-Matt is rolling along the docks area when he sees Justin's car

near Kelly's.

Matt: Oh Justin, you are in big trouble.

Matt rolls to the front door of Kelly's, he shakes his head and enters.

Scene 5-Carly and Bobbie are at the Brownstone.

Carly: I came to apologize.

Bobbie: For what?

Carly: For everything I have done since I came to town. And, for what

happened with Tony.

Bobbie: Carly, what happened with Tony... It's not your fault. And, as

far as everything else, it's water under the bridge. (Carly looks away,

she begins to cry. Turns Carly's head back around to face her.) Carly,

oh, we've all made mistakes before. If we didn't we wouldn't be human.

Believe I've made some big ones, too.

Carly: But, I hurt you and Tony bad.

Bobbie: Wounds heal. And people forgive. You can't hold yourself

responsible for everything that happened around you.

Scene 6-Robin visits Michael and Brenda in the hospital. They have been

chatting for a little while.

Brenda: So, how are you?

Robin: I'm... I'm fine.

Amy comes in followed by Mike.

Amy: Well, Brenda, Michael, you're already to go.

Robin: Oh, and here's grandpa.

Mike takes Michael. Amy pulls a wheelchair in and Julia comes in.

Brenda gives Amy a questioning look.

Amy: Hospital policy.

Julia takes the wheelchair.

Julia: Get in.

Brenda gets in the wheelchair and they all leave. Mike, Julia, and

Brenda get in a car.

Robin: Bye.

Robin looks towards her car and sees Renaldo.

Renaldo: Mrs. Morgan, Jason asked me to bring you home.

Scene 7-Tom and Simone are at a table at Kelly's.

Tom: So, you're going to this interview in Portland?

Simone: Yes. Now, I haven't made any definite plans, but I am

considering moving out there and taking this job.

Tom: And Tommy?

Simone: I'd want him to stay here with you. He'll have you and your

mother, his friends and everybody at the Brownstone.

Tom: So, there's a good chance you might move out there?

Scene 8-Jeremy and Lesley are in the hall at GH. Rick sees them kissing.

A look of disgust crosses his face. Jeff comes up from behind him.

Jeff: So, he's why the two of you got divorced?

Rick turns suddenly.

Rick: Not exactly.

Jeff: Then, why exactly did you two get divorced?

Rick: Something else.

Jeff: Maybe you could give me the complete answer in your office. Come

on.

Jeff drags Rick off.

Scene 9-Justus and Dara are at the Port Charles Grill.

Dara: So, the police don't have anything, yet?

Justus: Nothing. Ned said that Jason has a lead and is pursuing that.

Dara: What about the ELQ thing?

Justus: Taken care of. Now, tell me do you have any problems?

Dara: Only that we haven't spent enough time together.

Justus: Oh, well, from now on, I vow to you we will spend more time

together.

Scene 10-Matt knocks on Justin's door at Kelly's.

Justin: Who is it?

Matt: Matt. (Justin pushes Emily into the closet. Then, he goes and

opens the door to the room.) Justin, you have her, don't you?

Scene 1-Robin, Renaldo, and Jason are at Jason's penthouse.

Jason: Thanks Renaldo.

Renaldo: No problem.

Renaldo leaves.

Robin: What?

Jason: Mac told me about last night.

Robin: Yeah? Now, are you going to tell me what you were doing with

Taggert.

Jason: Robin...

Scene 2-Jeff and Rick are in Rick's office at the hospital.

Jeff: Tell me why you and Lesley divorced.

Rick: She found out something.

Jeff: What?

Rick: About an affair that had been going off and on for thirteen years.

Jeff: With who?

Rick: Um, it's not important.

Jeff: Who? No wait, I think I know. Monica!

Scene 3-Matt and Justin are in Justin's room at Kelly's. Justin closes

the door behind Matt.

Justin: Matt, just who is that you think I have?

Matt: Emily Quartermaine.

Justin: Don't be ridiculous.

Matt: Oh yeah.

Matt goes to the closet and opens it. Emily is sitting inside.

Scene 4-Bobbie goes to Kevin's office at the hospital and knocks on the

door.

Kevin: Come in. (Bobbie opens the door and slowly enters.) Hello

Bobbie. What can I do for you?

Scene 5-Felicia and Mac are at the Brownstone. Maxie comes home,

moping.

Felicia: Maxie, I think we need to talk.

Maxie: About what, mommy?

Felicia: Your attitude.

Mac: Um, maybe I should leave.

Felicia: No Mac. Please, stay and vouch for me about Maxie's attitude.

Scene 6-Jason and Robin are at the penthouse.

Jason: Like I said before, he gave me info about who was shooting at me.

Robin: Yeah. And, then you just let him go. And, he goes off and

threatens to kill Mac and Felicia.

Jason: I didn't know he was going to do that.

Robin: So the info you found out about the shooter, have you found him,

yet?

Jason: No, no, not yet, but I'm meeting with him.

Robin: You're meeting with him?!?

Jason: He has Emily.

Robin: Jason, you said everything was going to be ok.

Scene 7-Alexis comes home to Jeff and Jordan.

Alexis: Jordy, how was your first day at school?

Jordan: It was ok. Um, can I go outside and play?

Alexis: Sure. Just stay where I can see you from the kitchen window.

Jordan goes outside.

Jeff: So, how'd your meeting with the Quartermaines go?

Alexis: This whole mess has Helena written all over it.

Jeff: You don't think she'd go after Jordan, do you?

Alexis: I'm not sure what she'd do. But, before she does it, I'm

striking back.

Scene 8-Alan, A.J., Lois, Nicole, Monica, Ned, Edward, Justus, Dara,

Lila, and Brooke are in the Quartermaine living room. Alan and Monica

are pacing. AJ looks out the front window. Lois and Ned are sitting at

the table staring at the table top. Nicole stands at the open doors.

Justus and Dara sit by the fireplace drinking coffee. Brooke is

sitting on Lila's lap. Edward is stalking around the room.

Edward: When are those blasted police going to find Emily?

Ned: Grandfather they are doing their best.

Edward: If they were doing their best we would have received some sort

of word on the investigation.

Justus: Edward, the police do have other cases.

Edward: With all the money I pay in taxes, this should take priority

over everything.

A.J.: Well, grandfather, if it hasn't taken precedent with the police,

it sure is Jason's top priority.

Alan: How do you know that?

A.J.: Shipments coming into the docks have decreased by half. And, he

had all of his men searching the city.

Monica: Well, at least Jason still wants something to do with one of us.

Scene 9-Justin, Matt, and Emily are in Justin's room at Kelly's.

Matt: What are you going to do?

Justin: Just let me worry about it.

Matt: And I'm supposed to do what?

Justin: Go home and keep your mouth shut.

Matt looks from Emily to Justin.

Matt: I'm not going to make any promises.

Scene 10-Bobbie and Kevin are in Kevin's office.

Bobbie: Thank you Kevin.

Kevin: It's my job. Anything else I can do for you, you let me know.

And, if you ever need to talk, just come right in.

Scene 1-Felicia, Mac, and Maxie are in Felicia's apartment at the

Brownstone.

Felicia: Maxie, you are going to have to get used to things the way they

are.

Maxie: (In her whiny tone.) Why?

Felicia: Because that's the way it's got to be. I can't control when

your father pops in and out. Maxie, every time he leaves, you can't

continually act the way you have been. Am I right, Mac?

Mac: Actually, I think it's normal for her to act like this, Felicia.

Maxie: Why does daddy always have to leave anyway?

Felicia: It's part of his job. It's part of him. It's something we can't

change. Things will always be like this.

Scene 2-Jason and Robin are at the penthouse.

Jason: I thought it was. I never foresaw anything like this happening.

Robin: Jason, I'm scared. I mean I just killed a man the other night and

today I'm going on like nothing happened. I'm scared for you, because

people are trying to kill you or they were trying to kill you, we don't

really know do we? They could still be trying to kill you. And, I'm

scared for your sister, there's no telling what this kidnapper could've

done to her, or what he's doing to her or how he's treating her.

Jason: Does this mean you'll be going to Yale for those summer courses?

Robin: How'd you know about that?

Scene 3-Jeff and Alexis are in the kitchen. Alexis continues to look out

the window at Jordan and other kids in the front yard.

Jeff: How do you plan on getting back at her?

Alexis: I am going to force her hand on a very powerful secret that

could destroy her.

Scene 4-Julia and Brenda are in Julia's hotel room, looking at Michael

in his crib.

Julia: Are you really going to be looking for a house?

Brenda: Yes. Believe it or not, I'd love to have a home. A place all

mine. And, I think Michael needs to grow up somewhere like that.

Julia looks down at a sleeping Michael in his crib and she puts her arm

around Brenda.

Julia: You're right. I think he deserves, too.

Scene 5-Nick walks into Kelly's. Lucky is standing behind the counter

drinking a soda. Carly is sitting at there staring off into space.

Nick: Hello.

Lucky: Hey.

Nick: Any word on Emily?

Lucky: Nothing, yet.

Carly: Actually, I talked to A.J. and he said Jason's meeting with

someone. Something about negotiating.

Scene 6-Scott stands outside of GH and Eve comes out.

Scott: Hi. Fancy meeting you here.

Scott hands Eve a single red rose.

Eve: What's the occasion?

Scott: Life.

Scene 7-Jason and Robin are at the penthouse.

Jason: I saw the brochures in the study. So, are you considering it?

Robin: At the moment, it's a strong possibility. Not only is life here

turbulent, but I have a lot of catching up to do as far as school's

concerned. What do you think I should do?

Jason: Do what you want for yourself.

Scene 8-Carly, Nick, and Lucky are at Kelly's.

Nick: Does he know if she's ok?

Carly: A.J. didn't say.

Lucky: She better be or Jason will throttle this person.

Luke comes in.

Luke: Ah, I thought I'd find you here.

Lucky: What? Is there news about Emily? Have they found her?

Scene 9-Scott and Eve are outside GH.

Eve: Life?

Scott: And all it's splendor.

Scott walks Eve to a white stretch limo.

Eve: Where are we going?

Scott: Don't worry. I have appropriate attire for us.

Scene 10-Lucy and Serena go in the lighthouse.

Lucy: Where exactly is your daddy going?

Serena: I don't know. He didn't tell me.

Lucy: Hmmm... Scott, what are you up to?

Scene 1-Karen and Joe are at Mario's drinking wine.

Karen: How did you know I love this place?

Joe: Good guess?

Karen: Ok, who told you?

Joe: Your mother did, but it is one of my favorite places, too.

Karen: And it's a good place to celebrate.

They clink their glasses.

Joe: Yes, it is.

He looks in her eyes and kisses her. Karen sees Jason walk in.

Karen: I wonder what's going on.

Joe turns to see Jason go in the back room.

Scene 2-Alan is pacing in the Quartermaine living room. A.J. walks in.

Alan: A.J.

A.J.: Uh, dinner is ready.

Alan: I'm not hungry. You know, right now, Jason's meeting with this

person.

A.J.: And, he's going to get Emily back. You have to believe that.

Alan: I do, but I can't help but worry about what state she'll be in

when we get her back.

Scene 3-Jax sits in his penthouse, surfing the 'net on his laptop.

There's a knock at the door. He goes and finds Julia standing there.

Jax: Well, this is a nice surprise.

Julia: Brenda and Michael are resting. I thought I'd ask your opinion on

something.

Jax: What?

Julia: Houses.

Scene 4-Nick, Lucky, Luke, and Carly are at Kelly's.

Nick: Is there news?

Luke: No. Um, Lucky, some girl named Julianne keeps calling.

Lucky: She's Emily's best friend, maybe she remembers some sort of clue

that could help us find Emily.

Luke: I don't know.

Carly: It's worth a try.

Lucky heads out. Luke looks down at Carly.

Luke: Caroline, are you ok?

Scene 5-Lucky is getting his car, Nick tries to open the door. Lucky

rolls the window down.

Lucky: No, I think I should check this out alone. You should go home in

case somebody finds something out.

Scene 6-Scott and Eve get out of the limo. Eve is wearing a black

formal, Scott a tux.

Eve: So, where are we going?

Scott: Ah, you'll see.

They walk down the street.

Eve: We better not have to walk too far, these shoes are killing my

feet.

Scene 7-Jax and Julia are at Jax's.

Jax: Houses? Thinking of moving out of the hotel?

Julia: No, never. It's Brenda, she wants Michael to grow up with a home

and a backyard and one of those nice picket fences everybody always

talks about.

Jax: Well, I know the perfect house for her and it's for sale.

Scene 8-A.J. and Alan are in the Quartermaine living room.

A.J.: All we can do is hope that she is ok.

Alan: You're right.

Lois comes in.

Lois: Are you guys going to make an appearance at dinner tonight?

A.J.: Yeah, we'll be there in a couple of minutes.

Lois: Um, have either of you seen Monica?

Alan: She said something about going out to the rose garden to get some

fresh air, why?

Lois: I was just a little concerned considering all that's going on.

Scene 9-Jason sits in the back room of Mario's tapping his fingers,

waiting. Justin enters.

Jax: It's about time.

Scene 10-Scott and Eve enter the Versailles Room. There is one table in

the middle of the room. It's candlelit.

Scott: Here we are.

Part 264

Scene 1-Emily is squirming around the room at Kelly's. She manages to

scoot to the door, but can't stand. She looks around the room for

something to cut the rope around her hands and feet, or a way to loosen

them. She can not find anything. She tries to reach for the radio that

is still blasting.

Scene 2-Carly and Luke are in the restaurant part of Kelly's.

Carly: I'm ok. I think I'm going to see A.J. at the Qs.

Luke: Heaven help you. I'll just get me some coffee and lock up for you.

Carly: Thanks.

Carly leaves. Luke goes to the kitchen and pours some coffee, while he

is doing that he hears the music from upstairs and begins to bee-bop

around. Once he has his coffee, he walks out.

Scene 3-Lucky goes to Julianne's. He knocks on the door and Julianne

answers. She is standing there in a black skimpy dress.

Lucky: Julianne, did you remember something about Emily's disappearance?

Julianne: This.

Julianne kisses him and she has her hands all over him. He pushes her

off and then he stares at her. He turns away, shaking his head.

Scene 4-Jason and Justin are in the back room at Mario's.

Justin: Pascucci hired me to take you down. And, in the attempt, I hit

him, and now he's dead. Now, not only you, but Pascucci's people will be

out for blood. In trade for your sister I want you to guarantee that all

contracts out on my head are dissolved.

Jason: That could take days to do.

Justin: Just do it!

Jason: Ok, and once I do then what?

Justin: Call this cell phone and we'll make arrangements.

Justin hands Jason a piece of paper and walks out. Renaldo comes in.

Jason: Follow him.

Renaldo: Yes, sir.

Lucky: Um, I'd rather not talk about it.

Laura: Not talk about what?

Lucky heads upstairs.

Scene 7-Justin knocks on Matt's door at the Recovery Room.

Matt: Man, what are you doing here?

Justin: You're going to help me tonight, pal. One of Morgan's men was

following me. I need to stay here for awhile.

Matt: Where's your car?

Justin: I ditched it so he wouldn't find me.

Scene 8-Scott and Eve walk into a hotel room hand-in-hand. They shut the

door.

Eve: Scott, tonight was amazing. You've outdone yourself.

Scott: Not yet.

Scott looks in her eyes and pulls her to the bed. She kisses him all

over.

Eve: I think I'm falling in love with you.

Scott: (Smiling.) Good.

Scott and Eve fall to the bed, kissing.

Scene 9-Renaldo comes into Jason's where Robin and Jason are waiting.

Jason: What happened?

Renaldo: I lost him.

Jason: You lost him?!? AW! (He throws a book across the room. Robin

looks scared.) I guess we'll have to follow his game plan.

Scene 10-Joe and Karen are in Karen's bed in the basement apartment she

and Eve share.

Joe: This was nice.

Karen: I know. Tonight was incredible.

Joe: Do you think your roommate is back tonight?

Karen: If she isn't where do you think she could be?

Joe: Um...

Karen: You know she went out with Scott this evening.

Karen gets up and goes to Eve's room. She looks around inside and sees

no one.

Scene 1-Lucky and Nick are in the kitchen. Lucky sits there drinking

some coffee, Nick stares at him.

Lucky: What do you want, man?

Nick: What happened when you went over to Emily's friend's house?

Lucky: I'd rather not talk about what Julianne did.

Nick: She didn't have any important information about Emily?

Lucky: No.

Nick: Lucky, did something else happen?

Laura comes in.

Laura: Oh, good, you're up now Lucky.

Lucky: (Obnoxious tone.) Uh, yeah.

Laura: What was with you last night?

Lucky: (Yelling.) What is this the Inquisition?

Luke comes in.

Luke: Cowboy, calm down! Lu's still asleep.

Scene 2-Alan, A.J., Carly, Lois, Nicole, Monica, Edward, Justus, Dara,

Ned, Lila, and Brooke are in the Quartermaine living room for breakfast.

Edward: (To Alan.) So, I suppose there hasn't been any word from that

hoodlum son of yours?

Alan: No, there has been nothing.

Edward: And, of course, the police, well, we know they haven't found

anything. They couldn't find their own nose if it wasn't attached to

their face.

Ned: Grandfather, I talked to the police this morning and they told me

that they are doing everything can to try and find Emily.

Monica: But when they do, will it be too late?

Monica gets up and walks to the hall. Nicole looks around at everyone

with their heads looking down. She decides to go out to her. Monica is

staring at a picture.

Nicole: Monica.

Monica turns around startled.

Monica: Yes?

Nicole: You have to believe that everything is going to be alright.

Scene 3-Back in the Quartermaine living room.

Edward: Alan, maybe you should go after your wife. (Alan walks out the

side door of the house.) What the devil? Oh, sometimes I never

understand him.

Lila: Edward, shut up!

Lois: Mr. Q maybe we should leave the two of them to whatever it is they

feel they need to do.

Edward: (Dumbfounded that no one agrees with him.) Well...

Justus: Edward, she's right.

Dara is staring off into space. She suddenly drops her coffee.

Dara: Oh, dear... Um...

Justus: It's ok. (He looks at her.) Are you ok?

Dara: I'm fine. Uh...

Edward: Don't worry about it my dear, we can get Reginald to take care

of it. (Screams out.) Reginald! Reginald!

Dara: Um, (Looks at Justus.) I need to get going.

Justus: Ok. Well, um, have a good day. (Kisses her on the cheek and she

leaves.) Bye.

Lila: Is something the matter Justus?

Justus: I'm not sure.

Edward: Reginald! Where the devil is that infernal butler? Reginald!

Reginald comes in.

Reginald: Yes, sir.

Scene 4-Julia wakes up in Jax's bed. She watches him sleep, then his

alarm goes off and his eyes spring open.

Julia: Good morning sleepy head.

Jax: Julia.

Julia: You were expecting someone else?

Jax: No, I just wasn't sure if last night was a dream.

Julia: Do you want me to pinch you?

Jax: No, I now know that what we have and what we did last night are not

dreams. They are true.

Jax kisses Julia.

Julia: You know I could wake up like this everyday.

Jax: Me too. But, aren't you worried about what Brenda might think?

Julia: Brenda, well, I think that Brenda probably know what is going on

between the two of us.

Jax: Yes.

The telephone rings.

Julia: You probably should get that.

Jax: (Picks up the phone.) Jax... Oh, Jerry, nice to hear from you

again... Where are you now?... Indonesia?... Oh, I see. So, why is it

that you called so early in the morning?... Um, yeah, I am... Thanks.

(Hangs up.) What do you think about room service?

Julia: It's great. What was that call about?

Jax: Jerry. It's seems he's in some jail in Indonesia.

Julia: What happened?

Jax: He got in a fight with someone. It really isn't anything important.

Julia: How does he plan to get out?

Jax: Oh, he'll be bailed out. Now, let's see... Waffles? Pancakes? Or

bagels?

Scene 5-Scott and Eve are standing outside the Scanlons.

Eve: Scott, I had a lovely evening.

Scott: So, (Kiss.) did (Kiss.) I. (Kiss.)

Eve: I have to go in.

Scott: Ok. Um, what do you think about meeting my daughter?

Eve: I'm her roommate.

Scott: Ah, not that daughter. My little girl, Serena.

Eve: Oh. Oh, well I'd love to, but what would we do? Watch Disney

movies?

Scott: Actually, she'd probably settle for a night of all Spice Girls.

Eve: Spice Girls? Hmmm... Well, I can handle that.

Scott: Good. Friday night?

Eve: Sure.

Scott: Uh, well, I have to go pick Serena up from Lucy's now, so I

better go.

He looks at her and gives her one more kiss, as Joe and Karen walk out

on the porch and see this.

Scene 6-Brenda is holding a crying Michael as she opens the door to

Lois.

Brenda: Thank you, I could really use some company. Come in.

The two sit at the table. Brenda puts Michael in his crib.

Lois: So, where's Julia?

Brenda: Good question. She wasn't here all night.

Lois: Where do you think she was?

Brenda: I think she was probably at Jax's.

Lois: Oh, really?

Brenda: Yeah. The two have become rather attached. Anyways, has there

been any word on Emily?

Lois: Nothing, and the whole family is so wrecked about this whole

thing.

Scene 7-Luke, Lucky, Laura, and Nick are in the kitchen.

Luke: What's wrong?

Lucky: Um, the two of them seem to think there is something wrong.

Laura: Lucky, can you honestly tell us that something isn't wrong?

Lucky: No, because Emily is still missing, that's what's wrong.

Nick: Nothing else?

Lucky: No!

Lucky storms out the back door.

Luke: What is it?

Nick: I think it has to do with when he went over to Julianne's. (Looks

at his watch.) Um, I have to get going.

Nick walks out.

Laura: Maybe you should go after Lucky.

Luke: I don't think so. If he needs to he'll tell us what happened.

Scene 8-Scott stands at the front door of the lighthouse, Kevin is

standing there.

Kevin: Uh, Lucy and Serena are upstairs going through some kind of

clothes catalog, they should be down in a few minutes. Come in. (Scott

walks in and sits on the couch and puts his feet on the coffee table.)

Go ahead and make yourself at home.

Lucy and Serena come down.

Lucy: Scott, nice to see you. What were you up to last night?

Scott: Uh, some personal business. You two have a good time?

Serena: Yeah! Lucy's going to get me a whole new wardrobe.

Scott looks at Lucy.

Scott: Um, Lucy, you shouldn't do that.

Lucy: Look, pal, I want to, and you aren't going to stop me.

Scott: Ok. I guess Serena will be the most fashionable kid in grade

school.

Lucy: (Smiling.) Yeah, she will.

Scott: Um, say goodbye Serena.

Serena: Bye Lucy, bye Kevin, bye Sigmund.

A quack-quack is heard, then Scott and Serena leave.

Scene 9-Katherine and Rex are in Rex's office.

Rex: The transfer of the funds from Jacks-Deception should be complete

by May, then you'll get your cut.

Katherine: And Lucy and Scott have no idea?

Rex: None at all. And, by May Dr. Morris and Dr. Marshak will hopefully

be married and everything will begin to fall in place.

Katherine: I hope you're right.

Scene 10-Karen and Joe are in the on-call room.

Joe: I know you're upset about your dad and Eve, but it is his life, you

have to realize that.

Karen: Yeah, I realize that, but I'm so afraid that Eve is going to end

up hurting Scott.

Joe: I don't think Eve would do that, intentionally, especially since

she is your roommate, now.

Karen: Maybe you're right, but I just have this feeling that something's

going to go wrong. (Beeper goes off, she looks down at it.) Lucy? I

wonder what she wants to talk to me about.

Joe: There's one way to find out.
