Part 266

Scene 1-The doorbell at the Quartermaine mansion rings, and Nicole

answers. Lucky is there.

Nicole: What are you doing here?

Lucky: Has there been any word on Emily?

Nicole: No, nothing. Something wrong?

Lucky: If you promise not to tell anyone, I'll tell you.

Nicole: I promise. What is it?

Lucky: First, can I ask you what you think of Emily's friend Julianne?

Nicole: She's ok. I don't know her all that well, but from what I

gathered she and Emily are pretty good friends.

Lucky: After what happened last night, I'm not sure.

Nicole: What happened?

Lucky looks around and sees Monica down the hall.

Lucky: Maybe we should go somewhere else to talk about this.

Nicole: Outside?

Scene 2-Mac goes to Jason's. Renaldo lets him.

Renaldo: Mr. Scorpio.

Robin is in the front room.

Robin: Uncle Mac.

Mac: Robin, how are you doing?

Robin: I'm better. I'm sorry for the way I acted with you and Felicia.

Mac: It's ok. (Walks to her and hugs her. Sees some brochures on the

table.) What's this for?

Robin: Brochures for Yale. I'm thinking about going there for summer

courses.

Mac: When would you have to leave?

Robin: May.

Mac: Have you made a decision or are you still mulling it over?

Robin: Actually, I already have my schedule.

Scene 3-Julie and Jake are in Jake's bed. She sits up, thinking. Jake

stirs and wakes.

Jake: What are you thinking about?

Julie: The Quartermaines.

Jake: They're your family.

Julie: Ok, my family. At a time like this, we need to be together.

Everybody needs to have someone to lean on. Some family.

Jake: Why don't you go over to the house, then?

Julie: I guess I'm afraid of how I'll be treated.

Jake: I could go with you.

Julie: Would you?

Jake: Sure.

Julie: Once we both get dressed why don't we go to the Quartermaines.

Scene 4-Bobbie sits in the living room at the Brownstone. Felicia comes

in the front door, she has it open and is waving goodbye to all the

kids.

Felicia: Bye! (Starts to walk upstairs. Notices Bobbie sitting on the

couch.) Bobbie?

Bobbie: Oh, hi Felicia.

Felicia comes back downstairs and walks in the living room.

Felicia: Are you ok?

Bobbie: Yeah, I was just thinking.

Felicia: About?

Bobbie: Family. I never realized what I missed growing up with just

Luke. He was my only true family. Now, I watch our kids and sometimes I

wish I had some of that when I was growing up. The cousins, the aunts,

the uncles, caring parents, all that.

Felicia: Yeah, we do have something special here, don't we.

Tom comes in.

Tom: Hello.

Bobbie: Did Simone get off alright?

Tom: Yes.

Felicia: Do you think she's really going to take this job?

Tom: It's a terrific opportunity for her, I don't think she could pass

it up.

Scene 5-Nicole and Lucky are standing outside the Quartermaine mansion.

Nicole: Ok. What did Julianne do that's so horrible that you were afraid

to talk in front of Monica?

Lucky: She came on to me.

Nicole: What?!?

Lucky: Nicole, I asked her what she knew about Em's disappearance and

she kissed me and she had her hands all over me.

Nicole: What'd you do?

Lucky: I pushed her off and walked away. I was stunned.

Nicole: Why are you telling me all of this?

Lucky: I want to make sure when we find Emily she doesn't find out. And,

I want to make sure Julianne stays away from me. That's where you come

in.

Scene 6-Mac and Robin are in the penthouse.

Mac: By everything that's going on you mean the shooting.

Robin: The shooting, the attempt on Jason's life, and Emily's

kidnapping. There's this ripple effect from Jason's business and I'm

feeling like maybe I need sometime away. I was planning on returning to

Yale this fall, but now, leaving this summer looks like the right thing

to do.

Mac: If that's what you want. Speaking of Emily's kidnapping, does Jason

have anything, yet?

Robin: As far as I know, he is negotiating with someone, but I don't

know who. Why?

Mac: The Quartermaines are pressing Garcia hard. He asked for my

assistance.

Robin: I'm sorry I don't know very much about. I do know that whoever

has her was the one that shoot at Jason at the docks, and that Taggert

was the one who told Jason who it was.

Mac: Taggert?

Scene 7-Julie and Jake ring the Quartermaine doorbell. Reginald

answers.

Reginald: Hello Dr. Morris and...

Julie: This is Jake.

Reginald: Part of the family is in the living room.

Julie: Alan?

Reginald: He went to the hospital. Mrs. Quartermaine is in their, I'm

sure she'd love to see you. (Reginald opens the door. A.J., Carly, and

Lila are there.) Julie and Dr. Marshak.

Lila: Oh, Julie, it's lovely to see you.

Scene 8-Felicia, Tom, and Bobbie are in the living room.

Felicia: If she takes this job out in Portland, what about Tommy?

Tom: Amazingly enough, she wants him to stay here with me. She didn't

want to separate him from this family we have created here.

Bobbie: Felicia and I were just talking about that.

Tom: I should head to the hospital. Bobbie, are you coming in today?

Bobbie: I have someone I should pay a visit to.

Tom: Ok, bye.

Tom leaves.

Felicia: I better go, too. I have to open The Outback.

Bobbie: I'll see you later.

Scene 9-Kevin and Lucy are at the lighthouse.

Kevin: Don't you think that's a lot of stuff for Serena.

Lucy: Did you know that she got all As on her last report card?

Kevin: No, I didn't. I guess it's ok if the kids earn these things, just

as long as you aren't constantly going out there and buying them

everything in the world.

Lucy: Deal.

Kevin: Deal.

They kiss.

Lucy: You want to get back on the horse and give it another shot,

cowboy?

Kevin: Yeah, why not.

Scene 10-Lesley is in her office. There's a knock at her door.

Lesley: Come in.

Jeremy comes in.

Jeremy: I got your message.

Lesley: I think it's time you meet some people.

Jeremy: Who?

Lesley: My family.

Scene 1-Jeremy and Lesley are in Lesley's office.

Jeremy: You want me to meet you family?

Lesley: Yes.

Jeremy: When?

Lesley: This Friday, are you free?

Jeremy: Sure.

Scene 2-Alexis is in on the telephone in her office at home.

Alexis: Yes, I'm serious... If you don't leave me alone... If you don't

leave me and my family alone, I'll be forced to reveal the biggest

secret of all. The biggest secret that you are keeping, Helena. How do I

know?... I learned many things growing up as a Cassadine, I have my ways

of finding things out. I know what you did with him and I know why. And,

I also know what you and Mikhail were up to... Oh, yes, I know about

him. I'm tired of living in fear from you, it's your turn to live in

fear, and if you threaten me in anyway, I'll go the WSB with what I know

about your previous plans. You have been forewarned.

Scene 3-Jeremy leaves Lesley's office and bumps into Ellen in the hall.

Jeremy: I heard the good news about Scanlon and Wexler's lab results.

Ellen: Yes, it's terrific. I was hoping to talk to you about some of the

lab experiments that have been taking place.

Jeremy: I'd love to, but I have a patient right now.

Ellen: Ok, we could meet at The Recovery Room, um, say Friday evening

after work.

Jeremy: Sure.

Jeremy leaves.

Scene 4-Garcia goes to the Quartermaine mansion.

Garcia: I have a feeling I'm going to regret this. (Rings the bell,

Reginald appears.) Hi, are either of the Drs. Quartermaine here?

Reginald: No. Um, but I'm sure Mr. Quartermaine would love to talk to

you.

Edward comes out from the den.

Edward: Reg... (Sees Garcia.) Well, it's about time. Do you have any

word on my granddaughter?

Garcia: Sir, we don't have anything, yet. I came by to inform you of the

work that is being done on this case.

Edward: Work? What work?

Garcia: Sir, we're doing everything we can. I just came to inform you

that I have gotten Mac Scorpio to help me out with the case. Sir, we are

trying to do everything possible.

Lila comes out, followed by Julie and Jake.

Lila: Commissioner Garcia, have you found my granddaughter.

Edward: No, of course not, he's just here to cause us more grief!

Edward walks off.

Julie: Has there been any progress?

Scene 5-Katherine and Nick are in Jax's office.

Katherine: So, here we are.

Nick: Now, where are Jax and Julia?

Jax and Julia come in, as if on cue.

Jax: Sorry we're late.

Katherine: That's perfectly alright.

Julia: We should get down to business.

Scene 6-Bobbie rings the Quartermaines’ doorbell.

Reginald: Hello Ms. Spencer.

Bobbie: Is Monica home?

Regainld: Actually, I'm not sure where she is. You're welcome to come in

and visit with Ms. Quartermaine, while I look to see if Dr.

Quartermaine's around.

Bobbie: Sure. Thanks Reginald.

Bobbie walks down the hall as Reg looks for Monica. Bobbie finds Lila in

the hall. Jake and Julia are standing behind her.

Garcia: We've made some marginal progress. We're hoping Jason will

cooperate. If Jason's willing to work with us things would go a lot

better. If you'll excuse me, I have to get to back to the station.

Lila: Thank you. (Alex walks off. Lila sees Bobbie.) Bobbie, how nice to

see you.

Bobbie: Hello Lila. And this must be Alan's daughter Julie.

Julie: Yes, and this is Jake.

Bobbie: Nice to meet you both. I was hoping to talk to Monica.

Lila: She could use a friend right now.

Bobbie: I think we could use each other, right now.

Scene 7-Katherine, Jax, Julia, and Nick are in Jax's office.

Jax: I guess we have everything set for the gala.

Julia: Yes. If you don't mind I'm going to take the rest of the day off.

Jax: Sure, no problem.

Nick: I have to take off for class.

Katherine: Bye.

Katherine goes to her office. Nick goes to the hall, waiting to see

Julia. Julia and Jax come to the door and Nick sees them kiss.

Scene 8-Alex and Mac meet at the police station.

Mac: Anything new?

Garcia: No. You?

Mac: I talked to Robin. She said the person who has Emily was the person

who attempted to kill Jason. She also told me that he found out who shot

him through Taggert.

Garcia: Taggert?!?

Mac: Yes.

Garcia: You were in on the drug bust on Taggert, weren't you? That

notebook, maybe the person's name is in that notebook.

Mac: It had a list of Taggert's customers, maybe this guy was a

customer, I guess it's a possibility.

Garcia: I'll go get it from the evidence room.

Scene 9-Ellen walks up to the nurses station where Amy is.

Ellen: Amy, have you seen Dr. Harmon?

Amy: No, I haven't seen him for a couple of days. Grace!

Grace comes over.

Ellen: Have you seen Dr. Harmon today?

Grace: No, I haven't.

Ellen: This is odd, he is usually very punctual.

Grace: I could go across the street to his apartment and see if he's

there.

Ellen: That's not necessary.

Grace: I was just getting off this shift and I was going to go over to

The Recovery Room anyhow.

Ellen: Ok. If he's there, let him know he is supposed to be here.

Scene 10-Matt is on the telephone with Justin.

Matt: How long do you think you can keep this up?

Justin: Until Morgan has all the contracts taken off my head.

Matt: What if the girl escapes while you are out somewhere?

Justin: She tried while I was meeting with him. I'm staying here till I

get the call. She isn't going anywhere, until I'm ready.

Matt: Then, what?

Justin: I'll set her free and take off to wherever.

Matt: What about the thing of Dawn's you were looking for?

Justin: You're going to help me out with that.

Scene 1-Grace goes to The Recovery Room and up to the bar where Mike is.

Mike: Hi Grace. What can I get you?

Grace: The usual.

Mike: Coming up.

Grace: Mike, is Matt around?

Mike: I think I heard is phone earlier, he still might be in his room.

Grace: Thanks.

Grace goes to Matt's door, it's cracked open and she listens in.

Matt: Honestly, I don't want to help you with that or with this whole

kidnapping mess.

Grace hears that and walks away.

Scene 2-Garcia comes out of the evidence room with the notebook. He and

Mac examine it.

Garcia: This is all a bunch of numbers and letters, no names.

Mac: Wait! I think I've caught a pattern. They're addresses.

Garcia: How can you tell?

Mac: It's the code that I used as a mercenary in Australia. As far as I

can tell only a few of these addresses are Port Charles.

Scene 3-Julia is walking in the Port Charles Hotel and sees Nick.

Julia: What are you doing here? I thought you had classes.

Nick: I came here for this.

Nick grabs her and plants a kiss on her. As this is going on, Brenda

holding Michael and Lois get out of the elevator and see this.

Scene 4-Bobbie is walking through the rose garden at the Quartermaine

mansion with Lila, when she spots Monica.

Bobbie: I see Monica.

Lila: Well, dear, do talk to her, she could use you right now. I'll go

back to the house.

Bobbie: Thank you, Lila.

Lila leaves. Bobbie approaches Monica.

Monica: Hi.

Bobbie: Monica, how are you doing?

Monica: I'm hanging in.

Scene 5-Dara is in her office, looking over files, when Justus comes in.

Dara: Justus, uh, what are you doing here?

Justus: It's quitting time. Look at the clock.

Dara: You're right.

Dara begins to shuffle papers all over.

Justus: Rough day in court?

Dara: No, today was fine.

Justus: Then, can I ask you what happened at the mansion this morning?

Dara: (Replaying when she dropped her coffee cup and the look on Justus'

face, like he knew something was wrong.) Justus, I'd rather not get into

that. It really wasn't a big deal. I just dropped a coffee cup.

Scene 6-Rex and Jake meet at the waterfront.

Rex: Nice to see you, again.

Jake: I just thought I'd tell you that Julie and I are closer to getting

married. I met some of her family today.

Rex: (Pats Jake on the shoulder.) Good work. Now, let's hope you can tie

this up by May.

Jake: Why? What's so big about May?

Scene 7-Kevin and Lucy are in bed. Kevin is kissing Lucy. The telephone

rings, Lucy picks it up as Kevin continues to kiss her.

Lucy: Hello.

Karen: Oh, Lucy, I'm sorry I took so long to call you back, but I had a

patient. What did you want to talk to me about?

Lucy: (Kevin nibbles on her ear.) Um, well, Karen, um, could I call you

back later?

Karen: (Confused.) Sure.

Scene 8-Jeff goes in Alexis' office at the house.

Jeff: How is everything?

Alexis: I talked to Helena. She won't be bothering you, me, Jordan, or

Steve, ever again.

Jeff and Alexis kiss.

Scene 9-Grace goes to the police station.

Grace: I need to talk to someone about a kidnapping.

Officer Rick: The Emily Quartermaine kidnapping?

Grace: I don't know. I just overheard someone talking about a

kidnapping.

Rick: Who was this person?

Grace: Dr. Matt Harmon.

Rick: I'll radio the commissioner about this. We've been trying to find

Ms. Quartermaine for a few days now. The family's been breathing down

our necks, so any piece of information's appreciated.

Scene 10-Julia breaks loose from Nick's kiss.

Julia: (Speechless.) Uh-

He smiles and walks away. Brenda, holding Michael, and Lois walk up to

Julia.

Brenda: What was that about?

Julia: I'm not really sure.

Scene 1-Bobbie and Monica are in the rose garden.

Bobbie: How is the rest of the family doing?

Monica: Alan's shut off. A.J. spends most of his time with Carly or at

ELQ. Lila seems strong. Ned and Lois are supportive. Edward is demanding

and constantly pushing the police. Ned's daughter, Nicole, she is

incredible. I've never met someone her age that has such an amazing

calming effect on me. Now, how are you Lucas doing after everything?

Bobbie: We're getting through this day by day. Monica, I'm glad things

are better between the two of us. We really need each other now.

Bobbie and Monica.

Scene 2-Rex and Katherine are at Katherine's.

Katherine: You met with Jake?

Rex: Yes, it looks like he and Julie will be wedding soon. Then, we can

get our hands on that Quartermaine money.

Scene 3-Kevin and Lucy are in bed.

Kevin: Who was that?

Lucy: Karen.

Kevin: What did she want?

Lucy: I called her earlier. I wanted to talk to her.

Kevin: About?

Lucy: I need to talk to her about Scott.

Kevin: What about?

Lucy: Don't worry, it's nothing major.

Scene 4-Garcia and Mac are in an unmarked police car.

Garcia: Thanks. We'll check out Harmon's, then come by to question Ms.

Sullivan.

Mac: You know this could be a false alarm.

Garcia: Now, it's better than nothing, which is what we have.

Scene 5-Rick is at the nurses station. Jeff comes up behind.

Rick: What are you doing here this time of night? Shouldn't you be with

your family?

Jeff: I had a patient I had to check on. So, (Looks around.) about what

you told me the other day.

Rick: And, what's that?

Jeff: About your affair with Monica. Does Alan know?

Rick: No, and he can't ever find out about it.

Alan: Too late.

Jeff and Rick turn to find Alan behind them.

Scene 6-Nick walks in the Spencers, where Laura, Lu, and Luke are. Nick

is all smiles.

Luke: Something certainly has you in a good mood.

Nick: Let's just say today was a good day.

Laura: I wish I could say the same for your brother. Anyhow, I need you

to clear your calendar for Friday.

Nick: Sure. No problem. Why?

Laura: My mother is going to bring someone over for dinner that she

wants us to meet.

Nick: Who?

Luke: We don't know, Lesley's keeping mum about the whole thing.

Scene 7-Felicia stands at the bar at The Outback, the Taggert thing

replaying in her head. Then, she comes back to the present reality and

sees Robin at the door.

Felicia: Robin, what are you doing here?

Robin walks over to the bar.

Robin: I was hoping to talk you about my possibly leaving town.

Scene 8-Lucy calls Karen.

Karen: I'm glad you called back. I was curious as to why you called in

the first place.

Lucy: I was kind of wondering what your father is up to.

Karen: What do you mean?

Lucy: Is there someone new in his life?

Karen: Yes.

Lucy: Who? And I want to hear all of the details.

Scene 9-Felicia and Robin are at The Outback.

Felicia: Leaving town?

Robin: I'm thinking about going back to Yale for summer courses.

Felicia: I'll miss you, but you can't ask me to decide if this is what

you should do. You have to do what you want.

Robin: That's the answer I've been getting from everyone. And, I guess

since I already have my schedule, what I want to do is go back.

Felicia: Then, that's what you should do. You've got to follow your

heart.

Scene 10-Jeff and Rick are at the nurses station.

Rick: Now you've done it.

Jeff: Rick, I'm sorry.

Rick: I know, but I don't think I'm prepared to deal with Alan's fury

all over again.

Part 270

Scene 1-Carly and A.J. are in the kitchen at Kelly's, they hear music

upstairs.

A.J.: New tenant?

Carly: Yeah, and he's been playing that music ever since he came here.

It's really getting on my nerves.

A.J.: Maybe we should ask him to turn it down or turn it off.

Carly: Would you do that for me? I have to get Jason's breakfast.

A.J.: Sure. (Goes up and knocks on the door.) Hello.

Justin pushes Emily in the closet.

Justin: Yeah?

A.J.: (Yelling over the music.) Um, could you turn the music down, we're

getting complaints from the customers downstairs.

Justin: Sure. (Turns it down.) Better?

A.J.: Yeah, thanks. (Emily hears A.J.’s voice and tries to scream out,

only a muffled sound comes out. A.J. turns back after hearing the

sound.) Is everything ok in there?

Justin: Yeah, fine. (A.J. walks off. Justin takes Emily out of the

closet.) What was the scream for?

Justin turns the radio back up a tad, takes the gag off her mouth and

covers it with his hand.

Emily: (Mumbling.) You were talking to my brother.

Justin: That wasn't Jason, was it?

Emily: No, it was A.J., my other brother.

Scene 2-Lois, Monica, Ned, Edward, and Lila are having breakfast in the

den.

Lila: Monica, my dear, where's Alan?

Monica: I'm not sure. He didn't come home last night.

Edward: Oh great, here we go, again.

Lois: What?

Edward: Who's turn is it this time, Alan's?

Lois: Alan's turn for what?

Edward: To have an affair.

Monica: Edward, I don't think that's what's going on. I think he's upset

about Emily's disappearance.

Alan comes bursting in. He is wearing the same clothes as the day

before. He is a mess.

Alan: Oh, I found out last night that there is something else to be

upset about, Monica. Why'd you have to go and do it, again?

Monica: Alan, are you ok?

Alan: Oh terrific, why don't you just rip out my heart and hand it to me

on a platter.

Edward: Alan, what the devil are you talking about?

Alan: It seems that Monica has once again hit the sheets with Rick

Webber.

Monica: What?!?

Alan: Don't play innocent with me, I heard Jeff and Rick talking about

it.

Scene 3-Nick sits in the kitchen sipping orange juice, he thinks about

the kiss he gave Julia. He smiles. Lucky comes in.

Nick: Good morning.

Lucky: Why are you in such a good mood?

Nick: No particular reason.

Lucky: Oh really? Hmmm... My guess is a woman.

Nick: Possibly.

Lucky: Who?

Nick: I'm not telling you.

Lucky: So, it is a woman. (Nick nods.) Whoever she is she better watch

out. She'll never be able to fight off the Spencer charm. Now, if you'll

excuse me I am going to check with Jason on his progress.

Nick: Call me if anything new comes up.

Scene 4-Robin, Carly, and Jason are at a table at Kelly's.

Carly: This person who shot at you that night at the docks is the one

who has Emily?

Jason: Yes.

Robin: How do you know about that?

Carly: I was there when it happened.

A.J. comes downstairs.

A.J.: Carly, do you have keys to that apartment?

Carly: Sure. Why?

A.J.: I heard something strange.

Garcia and Mac come in.

Robin: What's going on?

Mac: We talked to someone and we think that Emily's kidnapper is here.

Jason: Carly, who's that tenant of yours?

Carly: Justin, uh, Justin Farrell.

Mac, Jason, and Garcia storm upstairs.

Scene 5-Justin jumps down from the bottom of the fire escape ladder.

Emily stands at the last rung. She still has the gag over her mouth.

Justin: Come on. (She continues to stand there refusing to jump. He

pulls out a gun.) Now, come on.

Emily jumps down. Justin sees cop cars at distant ends of the alley. He

notices a loose board in a fence and drags Emily through and finds a car

unlocked and he hot wires it and they take off.

Scene 6-Dara and Justus are in bed. Dara is sweating profusely, she

starts to kick and scream.

Dara: No! Mother! NO! Mother! I want my mother!

Justus wakes.

Justus: Dara, Dara, what's wrong? Dara, wake up! (Shakes her. She

wakes.) Are you ok?

Dara grabs hold of Justus and cries.

Scene 7-Julie wakes up in bed next to Jake and kisses him till he wakes.

Jake: Ah, good morning. How are you?

Julie: I... I'm better.

Jake: That's good to hear.

Julie: You know what, I really truly love you, Jake.

Jake: You do?

Julie: Yes.

Jake: What do you think about going on a little trip once your sister is

returned home safely?

Julie: To where?

Jake: A surprise.

Julie: Hmmm... Sounds interesting.

Scene 8-Scott and Lucy are at the Jacks-Deception office.

Lucy: Pal, you haven't told me about this new lady in your life.

Scott: What?

Lucy: Eve Lambert.

Scott: How do you know about her?

Lucy: I inquired with your daughter. Where'd you meet her?

Scott: Lucy, we don't have time to get into this right now. We just got

an interesting call from some TV guy about Brenda.

Scene 9-Bobbie walks in Kelly's and sees Robin, Carly, and A.J. all seem

to be a little panicky.

Bobbie: What's wrong?

Carly: That guy that kidnapped Emily was staying here, probably with

her, and I didn't even realize.

A.J.: I have to go up there.

A.J. goes upstairs to see Mac, Garcia, and Jason looking out an open

window. Garcia gets out his walkie talkie.

Garcia: Ok, I want you guys to put an APB out on Justin Farrell.

Jason looks around and finds something sitting next to the closet door,

a bracelet. He picks it up. A.J. looks at it.

A.J.: That's Emily's, um, Lucky gave it to her for her birthday, I

think.

Lucky comes running up.

Lucky: Is she here? Did you find her? (He arrives at the door and knows

by their faces. He sees the bracelet A.J. is holding.) Oh no.

Scene 10-Matt is in his apartment hearing the recent news about Emily's

kidnapper, when his telephone rings.

Justin: Matt, it's Justin.

Matt: Man, what the hell are you doing?

Justin: Finding a safe hiding place. I'm not going to go to jail and I'm

not going to let anyone kill me. As soon as Morgan guarantees my safety,

I'm getting out of town.

Matt: You really think you are going to make it out alive.

Justin: I have to and you have to find that jewel for me.

Matt: You really think the Quartermaines are just going to let me in

their house to look for this jewel you gave Dawn.

Justin: No, but I trust you'll find it for me, it's very important. I'm

going to need it when I get out of town.

Scene 1-Lois, Monica, Alan, Ned, Edward, and Lila are in the

Quartermaine living room. Alan looks at Monica like he is about to rip

her head off. The room is silent. Nicole comes in.

Nicole: Morning. (Notices silence.) Is something wrong?

Lois: Ned, I think we should go.

Ned: Yes.

Edward: We're following.

Ned, Lois, Edward, and Lila leave and take Nicole out with them. Ned

shuts the doors behind.

Monica: Alan, now is not the time for this.

Alan: When? When did you do this to me?

Scene 2-Brenda and Julia are in Julia's hotel room. Michael is in his

crib.

Brenda: I'm going to take your advice. Today, I'm going to look at the

house that Jax told you about.

Julia: Terrific. Uh, (Looks at watch.) I'm running late.

Brenda: Yeah. Well, be sure to tell Nickolas Spencer hello.

Julia: Brenda!

Brenda: Sorry, but that kid's got a crush on you.

Julia: Kid, being the operative word. He's just in college, I wonder

what he thought he was doing kissing me like that the other night.

Brenda: I don't know. Uh, you better get going.

Scene 3-Katherine and Nick are in Jax's office.

Katherine: I heard about that kiss you gave Julia the other night.

Nick: Really, how'd you find out, was my aunt Amy there or something?

Katherine: No. Actually, I was. I had just come out of the Grill, and

saw it. Nickolas, you realize that Jax and Julia are involved, don't

you?

Nick: For now.

Katherine: If this is anything like what you felt for me, you should

give up now.

Nick: Believe me, Katherine, this is bigger than that.

Jax comes in.

Jax: Good morning. Where's Julia?

Scene 4-Lucky is standing in the alley behind Kelly's, looking up and

down it seeing all of the police cars gathered there.

Lucky: How could they get away? (Bobbie and Luke come out.) Where could

they have gone?

A gust of wind hits, there is a squeaking sound.

Bobbie: (Points to the fence.) That board on the fence, it's loose.

Lucky: (Looks at it, then his dad.) I have to find her.

Luke hugs his son, who is clinging to Emily's bracelet.

Luke: Let Jason and the police take care of it, they know that they are

doing.

Lucky: So far, I'm not so sure about that.

Bobbie: Lucky, they're doing their best.

Lucky: That isn't good enough.

Scene 5-Dara and Justus sit at a table at Dara's.

Justus: Dara, please, tell me what's going on.

Dara: It's this whole thing with your cousin's kidnapping.

Justus: What about it?

Dara: (Looks at clock on the wall.) Justus, I really don't have time to

get it to it now, I have to be in court in an hour.

Justus stands Dara up and holds her.

Justus: Ok, but we have to talk about it when you come home.

Scene 6-Jake and Julie are at Jake's.

Julie: Where would we be going?

Jake: Somewhere west.

Julie: You aren't going to tell me where?

Jake: No. Not a chance.

Julie: I guess once everything's settled, I'll find out.

Scene 7-Scott and Lucy are at the Jacks-Deception office.

Lucy: What's this about Brenda and a TV guy?

Scott: Some casting director of a soap opera wants to talk to Brenda.

Lucy: You're kidding!

Scott: No. This guy he keeps on calling. I think he's serious.

Scene 8-Jeremy bumps into Eve in a hall at GH.

Jeremy: I hear you are dating Scott Baldwin.

Eve: Yeah. So?

Jeremy: You're doing very well for yourself.

Eve: Anybody would be a step up from you.

Eve walks out. Lesley walks up to Jeremy having just seen Eve take off

so quick.

Lesley: What was that about?

Jeremy: Nothing.

Scene 9-Kevin walks into The Outback and to the bar where Felicia is.

Kevin: I was hoping Mac would be around.

Felicia: He's busy working on the Emily Quartermaine kidnapping.

Kevin: Oh.

Felicia: But, I'm here. Tell me what's on your mind.

Scene 10-Alexis and Jeff are in the living room. Alexis is rushing

around picking up a few stray items of clothing left strung around.

Jeff's reading a magazine.

Jeff: Don't you have to be in court soon?

Alexis: Yes, but I was hoping that I could pick up all of Steve's

clothes before I left.

Jeff: I could do that if you want.

Alexis looks at Jeff.

Alexis: That would be nice. (Looks at him closer as she notices he is

really just staring at the magazine.) Something on your mind?

Jeff: Yeah.

Alexis: Tell me about it.

Jeff: I don't really think you have the time.

Alexis: Dinner tonight? Just you and me?

Jeff: That'd be great.

Alexis: Ok, I've gotta go.

Jeff begins to pick up Steve's things as he watches his wife walk out

the door.

Scene 1-Lois, Ned, Nicole, and Brooke are in the living room at the

gatehouse.

Nicole: What was going up there?

Lois: I think maybe the beginnings of World War III.

Ned: Nicole, don't worry about it. It's typical Alan and Monica.

Scene 2-Julia and Nick come out of the meeting at Jax's office and Julia

pulls him in her office.

Jax: What was the other night about?

Nick: Julia, I find you incredibly attractive. You're the most amazing

woman I've ever met.

Jax: Thank you, but that still doesn't explain what you did the other

night. What was your intention when you kissed me?

Nick: My intention? I wanted you to know just how I felt. And, you gotta

admit that was one hell of a kiss.

Jax: Yes, uh, um, (Flustered.) but, Nickolas, I'm involved right now,

you realize that don't you?

Nick: With Jax.

Jax: Yes.

Nick: He doesn't deserve you.

Nick shakes his head and walks out. He slowly closes the door. Julia

stands there and stares at it.

Scene 3-Robin walks into The Outback to see Felicia at the bar talking

to Kevin.

Felicia: Kevin, I think you and Lucy would be great parents.

Kevin: Thanks. You know I still have these deep fears that my family's

history of mental illness could rear it's ugly head.

Robin: Did I hear Felicia right, are you and Lucy going to be parents?

Kevin: Well, nothing official, yet. But, we're trying. So, I heard your

uncle's out there helping out in the big kidnapping case, any news?

Robin: The kidnapper had Emily at Kelly's, but before anyone knew he

escaped and they don't know where he is now.

Scene 4-Lucky is on the other side of the fence behind Kelly's, he looks

around. Sly comes walking down the street.

Sly: Hey, any word on Em?

Lucky: Nothing. Do you notice something that is missing from this lot?

Sly looks around.

Sly: Yeah, the yellow Barracuda that used to sit right there. It moved

every now and then, but every time I come by it's usually here.

Lucky: Is that the car that always used to be unlocked and we'd get in

it and listen to the radio.

Sly: Yeah, why are you asking me all this?

Lucky: Because the guy took off with Emily in it. Come on, we're going

to get her.

Sly: Shouldn't you tell the police?

Lucky: You want to mend the fences in our friendship, you come with me.

Sly and Lucky run off.

Scene 5-Laura goes into Kelly's with Lu. Bobbie and Luke are there.

Bobbie: Laura, what are you doing here?

Laura: I thought I'd come here and get something to eat. Luke, what's

going on?

Luke: The kidnapper had Emily here.

Laura: They found her?

Bobbie: No, he took off before they actually realized he was up there

with her.

Laura: Oh my. Do the Quartermaines know?

Bobbie: A.J. was here.

Laura: Luke, where's Lucky?

Luke: He's out behind the place.

Laura hands Lu to Luke and goes out to find no Lucky. She comes back in.

Laura: Luke, he isn't out there.

Scene 6-Jason is at the penthouse. Renaldo is at the door. Jason motions

for him to come to him.

Renaldo: Sir?

Jason: Do you have those guards on Robin?

Renaldo: Yes.

Jason: Good. Go outside the door until I call for you. (Renaldo walks

out. Jason dials the number on the piece of paper.) Come on Farrell,

pick it up!is in a seedy hotel with Emily. He picks up his cell phone.

Justin: Morgan?

Jason: Everything's taking care of. Will you let me speak to Emily?

Justin: No.

Jason: You better or I'll hunt you down and make sure you don't make it

out alive, and believe me I have the resources.

Justin: Ok.

Justin puts Emily on the phone.

Jason: Emily, are you ok?

Emily: Just scared. Jason, uh... (Thinks for a little while.) The square

root of five is seven.

Jason: Emily? What are you talking about? That's not right... What does

that have to do with anything?

Emily: It's filthy, some say seedy.

Justin takes the phone away.

Justin: What the hell are you doing? You better keep your mouth shut.

A gun shot is heard. Jason blinks his eyes.

Jason: Motel 5 on Route Seven. Emily, I hope you're ok. (Runs to the

door.) Renaldo, call down to Johnny and tell him to get my car ready for

me to take.

Scene 7-Tom is in the elevator at GH, it stops on the first floor and

just as he is getting out Simone is about to get on.

Tom: Simone, you're back, already. How was the trip?

Scene 8-Brenda is with a real estate agent looking at a house. She goes

out to the backyard and sees how enormous it is. She invisions Michael

running around. She sees him on swings and coming down a big slide.

Then, she turns around and goes back in. She looks out the front window.

Brenda: This place is terrific. I'll take it!

Scene 9-Lucy and Scott are in the Jacks-Deception office.

Lucy: What show was it?

Scott: You know I can't remember. It really didn't sound like a soap

opera title. You know it didn't have that Days of Our Lives type title.

Lucy: Uh, General Hospital?

Scott: Yeah. That was it. Oh, why didn't I remember that? Did I ever

tell you about the time I met John Stamos?

Scene 10-Alan and Monica are in the Quartermaine living room.

Alan: Monica, are you ever going to answer me? Huh?

Monica: Alan, do you really want to go through this? With all that's

going on.

Alan: I want to know!

Monica: You know those Cardiologists' Conventions that I go to every

summer?

Alan: You two met up every summer?!? For how long?

Monica: Alan, you really don't want to know.

Alan: How long, Monica? How long?

Alan grabs her by the shoulders and shakes her for an answer. She is

scared. The doors swing open and they both turn to see A.J. and Carly.

Alan lets Monica go.

A.J.: I'm not going to ask what's going on, because, frankly, I don't

want to know. I thought you should know the recent news about Emily.

Monica: What? Have they found her?

A.J.: No, if they had, I'd be with her or she'd be here. But, we found

out where the kidnapper was keeping her.

Alan: WAS?!?

Carly: He escaped.

Part 273

Scene 1-Lois and Ned are in the living room at the gatehouse.

Ned: I can't believe it! A.J. was right there at Kelly's all that time

and Emily was upstairs. This is incredible!

Lois: Honey, a lot of people were there and didn't know. Carly rented

the room to the guy and didn't realize it, either.

Ned: Well, she is A.J.’s girlfriend or whatever.

Lois: What about Lucky and Nicole? They didn't realize it. Not to

mention Jason and Robin. Believe me Ned this guy might not have planned

things out good, but he knew how to hide Emily. And, nobody would have

ever thought about looking there.

Ned: I hope Jason finds this scum and puts a bullet in his brain!

Scene 2-Nick enters the Spencers to find Luke on the telephone, Laura

pacing.

Nick: What's wrong?

Laura: Have you seen your brother?

Nick: Yeah, I spotted his car on Route Seven, why?

Laura: Luke!

Luke hangs up.

Luke: Jason's guy just told me he was headed to the outskirts of town,

he didn't know where.

Nick: What? Emily? The guy has her somewhere out there?

Luke: Possibly.

Laura: Nickolas said he saw Lucky on Route 7.

Scene 3-Robin walks out of The Outback and bumps into Karen. They hug.

Karen: I came to meet Joe here.

Robin: Joe?

Karen: Scanlon, you'll have to stick around and meet him. I'm living at

his house in the apartment in the basement with another intern. Joe's

an intern, too.

Robin: I think I met him at the Nurses Ball.

Karen: That's right, well, you should see him, again, he's supposed to

be here in a couple of minutes.

Robin: We could go inside and wait. (Karen and Robin start to walk in.

Someone taps Robin on the shoulder.) Yes?

Robin turns.

Renaldo: Mrs. Morgan, I have been asked to take you back to the

penthouse.

Robin looks at Karen.

Robin: Karen, I'm sorry. Maybe we could have dinner together sometime.

Karen: Sure, that's be great. You, me, Joe, and Jason.

Robin and Renaldo walk off. Joe walks up noticing how Karen's watching.

Jason: What's up?

Karen: I'm not sure. Why don't we go in and get something to drink.

Scene 4-Lucky and Sly drive by the Motel 5, when Sly sees the car. Lucky

pulls in the parking lot.

Lucky: Ok. Let's both go to the front office and see if we can find out

what room this creep is in.

Scene 5-Mac calls Robin at the penthouse.

Mac: Is Jason there?

Robin: No, and he had one of his men come get me and bring me home. I

asked where he went and all they said was he was headed to the outskirts

of town.

Mac: Ok. Robin I'll call you when I have some news. (Mac gets off the

telephone.) Robin said he was headed to the outskirts of town.

Garcia: It's got to be that motel, that must be where this guy has the

Quartermaine girl held up.

Scene 6-Julie is in the hall at GH and spots Matt.

Julie: Where are you headed to?

Matt: I have to take care of an errand for a friend.

Matt leaves. Eve walks by all dressed up.

Julie: Where are you going?

Eve: I have a date.

Julie: Have a nice evening.

Eve walks out to be met by Serena and Scott.

Eve: I thought I was going to meet you at The Outback.

Scott: Well, I was able to cut out of work early and thought we'd swing

by and pick you up. Serena this is Eve Lambert. Eve this is Serena.

Eve: (Puts out her hand.) Nice to meet you, Serena.

Serena: (Shakes Eve's hand.) Nice to meet you, too.

Scene 7-Tom and Simone walk in the Brownstone. Tommy comes run down.

Tommy: Mom, you're home!

Simone: Um, Tommy, I have something to tell you.

Tommy: What?

Tom: Why don't we go upstairs first.

Simone: Good idea.

Bobbie comes out after hearing voices.

Bobbie: Simone, you're back. So, are you going to take the job?

Tom looks at Bobbie. Bobbie looks at Simone. Simone's eyes go by all of

them.

Tommy: What job?

Scene 8-Jeremy and Lesley are at the Spencers front door. Lesley knocks.

Laura opens the door.

Laura: Oh mother, I'm sorry, I completely forgot. There's been a lot

going on.

Jeremy and Lesley walk in.

Lesley: Laura, what's wrong?

Laura: You heard about Emily Quartermaine's kidnapping, didn't you?

Lesley: Yes.

Laura: Lucky was very upset about it. And, it turns out the kidnapper

had been hiding her at Kelly's, but they escaped, now Lucky's nowhere to

be seen, and frankly, I'm worried. Luke and Nickolas went out to look

for him. I'm afraid this kidnapper, if Lucky finds him, could be very

dangerous. Lucky's always been independent and has always loved the role

of hero. I'm just afraid that this time things won't turn out good.

Lesley puts her arms around Laura. Jeremy stands there looking around,

unsure of what to do.

Scene 9-Dara and Justus are at Dara's.

Justus: Well, here we are, now, I'd like to hear what we were talking

about this morning. (Dara goes to the kitchen and gets a drink of water.

Justus walks in the kitchen.) Dara.

Dara: Justus, when I was four years old, my father kidnapped me from my

mother.

Justus: Why? What happened?

Dara: I'm not really sure why he did. I was very young at the time.

Justus: Did your mother ever find you?

Dara: We were eventually reunited when I was 16. I was told stories

about why my father felt he needed to keep me away from my mother, but

known of them ever made since to me. He eventually went to prison. He

died there.

Justus: Your mother?

Dara: Cancer, she died two years after we were reunited. She died right

after my high school graduation.

Justus puts his arms around Dara.

Justus: I'm sorry.

Dara cries on Justus' shoulder.

Scene 10-Jeff stands at the front door in a suit waiting. Steve and

Jordan are in the living room.

Jeff: You have all of the emergency numbers, right?

Steve: Yes. So, where are you and Alexis going?

Jeff: The PC Grill.

Jordan: Wow! That place is cool. Mom took me there to have lunch with

uncle Rick.

Alexis comes downstairs in a stunning black dress.

Steve: Wow! You look amazing!

Alexis: Thank you. (Looks around seeing Steve's things scattered.)

Steve, while we are gone, could you pick things up?

Steve looks around.

Steve: Sorry, bad habit. Yeah, I will.

Alexis: Thanks.

Alexis and Jeff leave.

4/26/98-Part 274

Scene 1-Julia is in her hotel room. She thinks about that kiss Nick gave

her. Then, she thinks about the time she has spent with Jax. There's a

knock at the door. Julia looks at Michael, in his crib, then opens the

door.

Julia: Jax.

Jax begins to kiss Julia madly.

Scene 2-Lucy arrives at The Outback to see Felicia and Kevin talking.

She walks over.

Lucy: Nice to see you two talking.

Felicia: We were discussing parenthood.

Lucy: You told Felicia?

Kevin: Yes.

Joe and Karen are in the background. Scott, Serena, and Eve enter.

Serena: Daddy! Look there's Kevin and Lucy, oh, and there's Joe and

Karen.

Scene 3-Sly and Lucky spot Justin running to the woods, dragging Emily

along with him. They begin to run after.

Sly: Lucky, that guy has a gun.

Lucky: Don't worry. So do we.

Scene 4-Jax and Julia are at the door kissing, when Brenda walks up.

They break from their kiss.

Julia: Brenda!

Jax: Um, so, how are you?

Brenda: I'm terrific. I just bought a new house for me and Michael.

Scene 5-Alan, Monica, Carly, and A.J. are in the Quartermaine living

room.

Alan: No one knew?!?

A.J.: No one had any idea that guy was the kidnapper or that Emily was

even there!

Alan storms out. Carly watches, then looks to Monica. A.J. walks out.

Monica turns and goes to the front window where she watches Alan tear

down the drive in his car. She sobs. Ned, Lois, Nicole, and Brooke come

in.

Ned: I just saw Alan storm out. Monica, are you ok?

Scene 6-Jason, Mac, and Garcia arrive at the hotel room where Justin

was.

Jason: I called him. Emily gave me this clue, then I heard a gun shot.

Garcia: (Scans the room.) From the looks of it, it doesn't look like

anyone was hit. There are woods close, he may have headed that direction

since he didn't take the car. We'll have our men search the woods.

(Jason takes off and Garcia turns.) Jason! Damn! Why do I have a bad

feeling about this?

Scene 7-Matt breaks in the gatehouse. He goes through a storage room.

He finds a box labeled "Dawn." He digs through and finds a ring box.

Matt: Bingo!

Scene 8-Tom, Tommy, Bobbie, and Simone are standing in the entry at the

Brownstone.

Bobbie: Oh gosh. I'm sorry.

Simone: Tommy, let's go upstairs. (Tom, Tommy, and Simone go up to

Simone's.) I got a terrific job in Portland, Oregon.

Tommy: Are we moving?

Simone: No. I am.

Tommy: What about me?

Tom: Tommy, you're going to stay here with me.

Tommy turns around and runs to his room.

Simone: Tom, um, let me handle this tonight.

Scene 9-Nick and Luke drive up to the Motel 5. Luke gets out with his

gun.

Luke: I want you to stay here.

Luke runs to the woods. Nick watches. He sits for a few minutes, looks

around, and hops out and heads off to the woods.

Scene 10-A.J. knocks on Jake's door.

Julie: A.J., this is a surprise. Any word on Emily?

A.J.: The police are chasing the kidnapper and Emily down as we speak.

Part 275

Scene 1-Dara and Justus are at Dara's.

Justus: That must have been horrible.

Dara: It was. I thought I was over it. Now, I'm not so sure. Ever since

your cousin's kidnapping, I've been having this reoccurring nightmare

about when my father kidnapped me.

Justus: Maybe you should talk to someone about it.

D: A shrink?

Justus: If you don't feel like talking to a stranger about it, you can

always tell me.

Dara: Right now, could you just hold me?

Justus wraps his arms around Dara.

Scene 2-Jeff and Alexis are at the Grill.

Alexis: Tell me what you were thinking about this morning.

Jeff: A triangle.

Alexis: What?

Jeff: The famous Alan, Monica, Rick triangle.

Alexis: Your brother had an affair with Monica?

Jeff: Yes, and more than once.

Alexis: I must say Monica does get around. But, why are you so concerned

about it?

Jeff: Alan overheard Rick and I talking and I mentioned it. Now, Alan

knows it. The last time my brother had an affair with Monica, Alan tried

to drop a roof on both of their heads.

Alexis: You're kidding!

Jeff: No.

Alexis: Maybe with time Alan's mellowed and has put attempted murder out

of his mind.

Scene 3-Lucy, Kevin, Scott, Serena, Eve, Karen, and Joe are all at

several tables they have pulled together at The Outback.

Lucy: Isn't this lovely? We're all here. So, Eve, how'd you and Scott

meet?

Eve: It was at your wedding party, here. Felicia and Mac hired me for

the night as a bartender to help out and Scott and I met.

Lucy: Oh, well, isn't that nice?

Kevin: Yes. Joe, Karen, I heard about your results being published in

the New England Journal of Medicine.

Karen: Yes. Isn't it terrific?

Scott: What results?

Joe: Karen and I've been doing some testing to find new treatments and

possible cures for Aids, so far the results have been terrific and we

found out that they want to publish the results a few days ago.

Scott: That's great. Why didn't you tell me, Karen?

Scene 4-Tom goes to Kelly's and sees it is closed. Then, he sees Ellen

sitting on a bench outside.

Tom: Dr. Burgess, what're you doing here?

Ellen: I was supposed to meet Dr. Erickson here to discuss the interns'

lab results, but he hasn't shown up.

Tom: Well, why don't we go to The Recovery Room and talk about them.

Ellen: Sure.

Scene 5-Matt is at the top of a hill where the road winds around it.

Matt: Man, where are you?

Justin comes running up the hill with Em.

Justin: You got the jewel?

Matt: Yeah. Here. (Hands Justin the box.) Now, what are you going to do?

Justin: Wait for Morgan.

Jason comes up. He sees Emily and breathes a sigh of relief.

Jason: Are you ok?

Emily: Yes!

Jason: Farrell, the contracts out on you are all null and void.

Justin stands there with a gun and thinks.

Justin: You know what, if I did kill you, Morgan, I could have all the

power I want. If you even think about pulling out a gun, she's dead.

A shot is fired in the distance. Justin looks around. Emily breaks loose

and runs off. Justin fires in the direction he heard the shot, hitting

Matt. Mac and Garcia arrive and see the gun in his hand. He shoots at

them and then they shoot him. Jason runs to Emily and hugs her. Sly and

Lucky comes running up. Lucky runs to hug Emily. Sly watches. Luke comes

up from one side and Nick the other.

Luke: I thought I told you to wait in the car.

Nick: Sorry, it was boring.

Luke looks at Nick, he notices blood on his shirt.

Luke: You're bleeding.

Scene 6-Alan is walking out of Jake's Bar in a drunk stupor, just as

Carly is going in. He passes out.

Carly: Dr. Quartermaine! Dr. Quartermaine! Alan!

Carly goes to the pay phone and calls Bobbie.

Bobbie: Hello.

Carly: Bobbie, it's Carly, I'm at Jake's, can you come down here?

Bobbie: What is it?

Carly: I came here and found Alan passed out, I'm not sure what to do.

Bobbie: I'll be right there.

Scene 7-Nicole picks up the telephone at the Quartermaine mansion.

Nicole: Hello.

Lucky: Nicole, this is Lucky. We've found her, she's ok.

Nicole: You did? That's great!

Lucky: The guy who kidnapped her and his friend are dead. And, Nickolas

was hit by a stray bullet.

Nicole: Is he going to be ok?

Lucky: We're at the hospital right now.

Nicole: Emily's there?

Lucky: Yeah, Jason wanted to have her checked out to make sure she was

alright.

Nicole: I'll tell the family. We'll be right there. (They hang up. Goes

into the living room A.J., Lois, Monica, Ned, Brooke, Edward, and Lila

are.) They found her.

Scene 8-Jake and Julie are at Jake's.

Julie: You think she'll be ok?

Jake: I do. Keep positive thoughts.

The telephone rings.

Rex: Jakey, good news. The Quartermaine girl has been returned.

Jake: Where'd you hear this?

Rex: Katherine found out, somehow. They took the girl to General

Hospital for precautionary matters. Perfect time to move.

Jake: Thanks.

Jake hangs up.

Julie: Who was that?

Jake: Somebody from the hospital, they said your sister has been brought

in.

Julie: Is she ok?

Jake: They said it was a precaution.

Julie hugs Jake.

Scene 9-Robin runs up to Jason at GH.

Robin: I'm so glad you're ok. (Hugs him.) What happened?

Jason: It's a very long story.

Lucky and Emily are hugging. Sly watches. Luke paces up and down the

hall.

Lucky: You know I don't want to ever let go of you.

A.J., Lois, Monica, Nicole, Ned, Edward, and Lila come down the hall.

Edward: I don't think you're going to have a choice. Here comes my

family.

They break their hug. Monica comes running up to Emily and hugs her.

Monica: Sweetheart, are you ok?

Emily: I'm fine. Nickolas got shot. (Looks at the family.) Where's Alan?

Lesley, Laura, Lu, and Jeremy come storming in.

Laura: Where's Nickolas?

Luke: In surgery.

Jeremy: I'll go check on it.

Jeremy leaves.

Laura: Luke, what happened?

Scene 10-Tom and Ellen are at The Recovery Room, having drinks.

Mike: Last call.

Tom: We better get going.

Ellen: Yes. I didn't realize it was so late.

Scene 1-The next morning, Dara and Justus are in bed. Dara wakes.

Justus: Did you sleep well?

Dara: Actually, I did. Talking to you about everything must have helped.

Justus: That's good. (Kisses her.) They found Emily.

Dara: Is she ok?

Justus: Yes.

Scene 2-Alexis and Jeff are in bed. Jeff kisses her. They get up and go

downstairs and find Jordan in her pajamas, watching cartoons, and eating

Cocoa Puffs. Steve's things are scattered all over.

Alexis: Didn't I tell you that you couldn't have that cereal?

Jordan: Steve gave it to me.

Alexis starts picking up Steve's things.

Jeff: Jordy, where's Steve?

Jordan: He left early, said he had to go visit some Nick person at the

hospital.

Alexis: Nickolas?!?

Scene 3-Lucy and Scott are at the Jacks-Deception office.

Lucy: So, that Eve person was sure interesting.

Scott: I'm glad you liked her.

Lucy: Did I say I did?

Rhonda opens the door.

Rhonda: Brenda's here.

Scott: Send her in.

Brenda comes in.

Brenda: Ok, what is it, why'd you want me in here so early?

Scott: Brenda, what do you think about acting?

Brenda: What, like a commercial?

Lucy: Actually, a casting director from a soap opera wants you to be on

their show.

Brenda: You're kidding!

Lucy: No, I'm not. The catch is this show is out in LA.

Brenda: I just bought a house.

Lucy: There are houses in LA, too.

Scene 4-Alan wakes in Bobbie's living room. Bobbie and Carly are sitting

there, as Alan looks up from the couch.

Alan: Bobbie. Ow! (Holds his head) Carly. Where am I?

Bobbie: The Brownstone. Carly found you at Jake's passed out. I came and

with some help we got you back here.

Carly: Alan, you should know this, Emily was found last night.

Alan: Is she alright? Where is she? I have to get to her.

Carly: Woa! You'll scare her if you go like that.

Bobbie: You can take a shower, and I called the house and Reginald

brought over one of your suits. He said Monica was out and that he

wouldn't tell her what was going on.

Alan shakes his head and gets up and immediately sits back down.

Scene 5-Robin and Jason are at the penthouse.

Robin: Things back to normal?

Jason: As normal as they'll be. You made a decision?

Robin: I'm going back to Yale this summer.

Scene 6-Rex and Katherine are at Katherine’s penthouse.

Katherine: How are the two love birds?

Rex: I have a feeling that Jake and Julie will be getting married soon.

How's our latest endeavor going?

Katherine: Not well, Jax has his files very secure. Speaking of Jax, I

have to get to work.

Scene 7-Lucky and Emily are asleep on the couch in the waiting room. Lu

sits on a sleeping Luke's lap. Laura and Amy come and wake them up.

Lucky: How's Nick?

Amy: He's awake. His vital signs are good. He's going to be ok. He'll

just have a small scar. You can come see him now, if you want.

Lucky: Mom, dad, go ahead. Emily and I need to talk. (Luke and Laura

take Lu and walk off. Amy sticks around.) Amy!

Amy: Oh, uh, I'll leave you two alone.

Scene 8-Renaldo knocks on Jason's door. Robin and Jason are in the

middle of a hug.

Jason: Yes?

Renaldo: Dr. Quartermaine.

Jason: Which one?

Monica: Jason, it's Monica.

Jason: Let her in. (Renaldo opens the door and Monica comes in.) Hello.

Robin: Monica.

Monica: Robin. Jason, I came here to thank you for rescuing Emily.

Jason: It wasn't me. I mean I found her, but she couldn't have escaped

without Lucky firing that shot. You should thank him.

Scene 9-Julia, Jax, and Katherine are in Jax's office.

Jax: Where's Nickolas?

Julia: He's usually never late.

Katherine: Didn't you hear?

Jax: Hear what?

Katherine: Nickolas was shot last night when they were rescuing Emily

Quartermaine. He is at GH.

Julia: Oh my-

Scene 10-Mac is standing behind the bar at The Outback, looking at a

ring box, he opens it up.

Mac: I recognize this.

Felicia comes in, surprised to see Mac.

Felicia: Mac, I didn't expect you to come in this morning after what I

heard about last night.
