4/28/98-Part 277

Scene 1-Tom and Ellen are at Kelly's.

Ellen: I had a nice time last night, Tom.

Tom: So did I. What do you think we should d about the vacancy in the

internship program?

Ellen: Since it's so far along in the game, I think we should just let

it be. You know I'm still amazed that Matt was involved in that whole

mess.

Tom: I find it hard to believe myself.

Ellen: This whole thing drastically narrows the field for the

Quartermaine fellowship.

Tom: Yeah. I understood it appeared to be a dead heat between Dr.

Lambert and Harmon.

Ellen: As far as Dr. Erickson and I were concerned. They both worked

well with the patients, they knew their stuff, and had their mind on the

job.

Tom: Speaking of Dr. Erickson, did you find out why he stood you up last

night?

Ellen: No, I haven't gotten to talk to him, yet, but, I intend to find

out.

Scene 2-Lucy, Scott, and Brenda are in the Jacks-Deception office.

Lucy: What do you think?

Brenda: I think it would be an amazing opportunity.

Scott: For all of us.

Brenda: What?

Lucy: He's saying it would be good for marketing of Jacks-Deception.

Scott: What do you think?

Brenda: I think I'll think about it and call this guy.

Scene 3-Lucky and Emily are in the waiting room at the hospital. Lucky

holds out Emily's charm bracelet.

Emily: You found it.

Lucky: Yeah. You know, there was a point where I thought this was all I

had left of you. Em, I was scared.

Lucky puts the bracelet around her wrist and kisses her.

Emily: Lucky, when this guy kept me locked up, you know what I thought

of? (Looks at the cactus charm on the bracelet.) It made me think about

New Mexico, when we were in the desert and I got trapped in that cave.

Somehow I knew you were going to rescue me, again.

Lucky: It wasn't just me. Sly was with me. He helped out, he helped

find that car, which lead to finding you.

Emily: Sly?

Just then Julie and Jake get off the elevator. Julie sees Emily and

walks over to her.

Julie: Emily Quartermaine?

Emily: (Emily turns to her.) Yes.

Julie: Hi. I'm Julie Morris.

Emily: My sister?

Julie: Yes.

They look at each other awkward, not knowing what to. Alan gets off the

elevator and sees this.

Scene 4-Carly and Lucas are in the backyard at the Brownstone, playing.

Bobbie is getting into her car.

Carly: Where are you going?

Bobbie: I'm going to go into work at the hospital.

Carly: (Smiles.) Oh, have a good day. And, if you need to call. I'll

spend the whole day with Lucas.

Bobbie: You don't have to. Betty's here with the other kids.

Carly: I want to.

Bobbie: Thanks.

Scene 5-Luke, Laura, Lesley Lu, and Lesley are in Nick's hospital room.

Luke: You're resilient, Spencer trait.

Nick: Shot twice and still going strong.

Laura: This will be the last time.

The door swings open and Alexis is standing there.

Nick: Hello Alexis.

Scene 6-Nicole sits down outside of Kelly's. She opens up her book and

begins to read. Julianne comes up to her.

Nicole: Julianne.

Julianne: How's Emily?

Nicole: My cousin's fine.

Julianne: Is she back at the house, yet, I'd like to visit her?

Nicole: I bet you would.

Julianne: What's that supposed to mean?

Scene 7-Justus walks by the new Ward House. He imagines Keesha and Mary

Mae there. Then, Dara and him together with their own kids running

through the house and helping with the children that live there. He

continues to walk along and bumps into Tommy.

Tommy: Hi Justus.

Justus: Tommy, I haven't seen you in awhile. How are you?

Tommy: Ok.

Justus: Your mom?

Tommy: She's moving to Portland, Oregon.

Scene 8-Jax and Katherine are in Jax's office.

Jax: I guess Julia wanted to see if he was alright.

Katherine: Yeah, I'm sure that's all.

Scene 9-Alexis and Nick are in Nick's hospital room.

Alexis: I'm so glad you're ok.

Nick: Thank you. Thanks for coming. (The door opens and Steve walks in.

Sarcastic.) Oh no, not you, again.

Steve: Funny, very funny. Hello Alexis.

Alexis: Um, I'll go. Let you two talk. Oh, Steve when you get home can

you clean up the mess you made downstairs?

Steve: Yeah.

Alexis: Bye Nickolas.

Alexis leaves.

Nick: What are you doing back?

Steve: I happened to be walking by your room and noticed this hot blonde

standing out there.

Nick: Julia?

Steve: I don't know her. This lady is in a business suit.

Nick: Julia. Um, Steve, why don't you go and when you go by her, you

can inform her that no one is in here and that she can come in.

Steve: Sure thing. (Steve goes out, Julia is pacing the hallway.)

Excuse me.

Julia: Yes?

Steve: If you want to see Nick, he's free, you can go on in.

Scene 10-Mac and Felicia are standing up at the bar. Mac is holding the

ring box in his hand.

Felicia: What's that?

Mac: Something I found. (He shows the jewel to her.) It looks

familiar, doesn't it?

Felicia: Not to me.

Mac: I know I've seen it before.

Part 278

Scene 1-Jake, Julie, Emily, Lucky, and Alan watching in the distance are

in a waiting area at the hospital.

Emily: Julie. Oh, um, Lucky Spencer this is Julie Morris, my sister.

Julie, this is Lucky, my boyfriend.

Julie: Nice to meet you.

Lucky: Same here.

Julie: This is Jake, my boyfriend.

Emily: Hi Jake.

Julie: Well, this is a little awkward.

Emily: Yes, it is.

Julie: Emily, I'd like to get to know you. What do you say we go out to

lunch or something.

Emily: That'd be great. (Sees Alan walk to the nurses station.) Alan!

Julie turns around and sees Alan walk to both of them.

Scene 2-Carly comes into the Quartermaine living room with Lucas. A.J.

is in there.

Carly: Reginald told us you were in here.

A.J.: Hi Carly, and Lucas! What are you two doing here?

Carly: I was hoping your family'd let us in so we could go swimming.

What are you doing here, I figured you'd be at ELQ?

A.J.: Things are slow, now. I decided to take the day off.

Carly: Ah, well, why don't you come with us and we'll all go swimming.

A.J. looks at Carly and Lucas' pleading faces.

A.J.: Yeah. Sounds great.

They all walk off.

Scene 3-Nicole and Julianne are seated outside of Kelly's.

Nicole: I know what you tried to do.

Julianne: What are you talking about?

Nicole: I know what you tried to do with Lucky when Emily was gone.

Julianne: Oh.

Nicole: And, it's not going to work. Emily and Lucky belong together.

Julianne: Hmmm... Strange coming from someone who once wanted them

apart. If Emily finds out about Lucky, that'll be it.

Nicole slaps Julianne. They begin to fight. Steve comes along and sees

this, he shakes his head.

Scene 4-Justus walks up to the Brownstone behind Tommy, he runs inside.

Justus sees Simone carrying some boxes.

Simone: Hi.

Justus: So, Tommy tells me that you are moving.

Simone: Yeah, to Portland. I got a job there.

Justus: Really, that's great.

Simone: Thanks.

Justus: When do you leave?

Simone: The end of this week.

Scene 5-Brenda is standing at the door of the gatehouse. Lois opens it.

Lois: Hey Bren. You know I almost have this farewell concert thing

planned out. It seems like next Friday is coming so fast.

Brenda: Yeah.

Lois: Something on your mind?

Brenda: You could say so. I have been offered a part on a soap out in

L.A.

Lois: (Excited. Hugs Brenda.) Oh my gosh! That's incredible!

Scene 6-Bobbie stands at the nurses station, she thinks of Tony, but

continues her work. Several different people come up to her as she is

standing there.

Amy: Bobbie, it's good to have you back.

Audrey: If there's anything you need, let me know.

Mary: Bobbie, if you need any help, I'm here.

Bobbie has had enough, she drops her notebook on the station and storms

off, running into Monica.

Monica: Bobbie.

Bobbie: Don't Monica. If I hear one more 'I'm sorry' or 'Whatever I can

do for you', I'm going to scream.

Monica: How about we go get a drink?

Scene 7-Robin is knocking on Julia and Brenda's hotel room door. Jax

comes up.

Jax: Not there?

Robin: I guess not.

Jax: I guess Julia's not there, either, then. Well, Robin what do you

say you and the goon (Nods in Renaldo's direction.) join me for lunch.

We haven't talked for so long.

Robin: Sure. I'd love to.

Jax: Downstairs at the Grill?

Robin: Lead the way.

Jax walks down the hall. Robin next to him and Renaldo walking behind.

Scene 8-Jeremy and Lesley are in a hall at the hospital.

Lesley: I'm sorry about last night.

Jeremy: No problem at all. I'm glad that everyone is ok.

Ellen walks up.

Ellen: Dr. Erickson.

Jeremy: Ellen, oh, I'm so sorry about that meeting.

Scene 9-Katherine and Rex meet at Katherine's penthouse.

Rex: Were you able to get that information about Jax?

Katherine: No, but I found out his brother, Jerry, is in jail in

Jakarta.

Rex: For what?

Katherine: He's started a fight or something, like that. I couldn't get

all the details.

Rex: This might be useful against J&J Jacks.

Scene 10-Kevin sits in his office, milling over paperwork when the door

swings open. There is Lucy in a trench coat. She shuts the door and

locks it.

Kevin: Lucy! (Lucy takes off the coat, wearing only a black teddy. She

pushes Kevin against the desk. She continues to kiss him and slides

everything off of his desk.) Oh, I like this.

Part 279

Scene 1-Nick and Julia are in Nick's hospital room.

Nick: Thank you for coming.

Julia: I had to. Um, I mean, when Katherine told me I was worried that

it was something more serious.

Nick: No, all the doctors here assure me I'm going to be alright.

Julia: That's good.

Nick: Now, why are you really here?

Scene 2-Mac and Felicia are at the bar at The Outback. Felicia looks at

the jewel more closely.

Felicia: Ok, maybe you're right. Maybe I have seen it before, but I

couldn't tell you where.

Mac: Hmmm...

Felicia: Well, if you're going to be here all day, do you mind if I go

home and spend time with girls?

Mac: Sure, go ahead.

Felicia kisses Mac on the cheek.

Felicia: Thanks.

Felicia walks out. Mac picks up the telephone and dials.

Mac: Hi. I think I have something you might be interested in.

Scene 3-Carly, A.J., and Lucas are playing and laughing in the

Quartermaine indoor pool.

Lucas: This is cool. Can I come over, again?

A.J.: Sure Lucas.

A.J. and Carly look at how much fun Lucas is having and smile at each

other.

Scene 4-Julianne and Nicole continue to fight. Steve breaks it up.

Steve: Hey. Hey. What's this about?

Julianne takes off. Steve looks at Nicole.

Nicole: What?

Steve: You've got one nasty scratch under your eye.

Nicole: Really?

Steve: Yeah.

Nicole: I probably look awful.

Steve: No, you look pretty good.

Nicole: Even with the scratch?

Steve: (Running his finger over it.) It adds character.

Nicole: (Smiling.) Ow, yeah, character.

Scene 5-Lois and Brenda are at the gatehouse.

Lois: So, are you going to take it?

Brenda: I think so. I've never thought about acting before, but it would

be a new challenge and good way to begin this new chapter in my life.

Lois hugs her.

Lois: (Excited.) I'm so happy for you.

Brenda: Thanks.

Ned comes in with Brooke, singing "The Seventh Son" to her.

Ned: Well, hello Brenda. To what do we owe this honor?

Scene 6-Jax and Robin are seated at a table at the Port Charles Grill.

Renaldo is standing by the door, watching.

Robin: Sounds like you and Julia are pretty much attached at the hip.

Jax: We have everything in common. It's like the perfect match.

Robin: That's great. So, do you two have any plans for the future?

Jax: No, no, we don't, as of yet. How are things with you?

Robin: Good. I'm getting ready to leave.

Jax: Leave? Where are you going?

Robin: Back to Yale. I start classes this summer.

Scene 7-Bobbie and Monica are sitting up at the bar at The Recovery

Room. Mike puts their drinks in front of them.

Monica: So, somehow Alan found out about my affair with Rick.

Bobbie: That's why Alan went out on that bender?

Monica: Probably.

Scott walks in and up to the bar.

Scott: Hello ladies.

Monica: Scott.

Bobbie: (Smiling.) Hi Scotty.

Scott: Mike, can I get two of those turkey clubs to go?

Mike: Sure.

Mike goes to the kitchen.

Bobbie: What are you doing?

Scott: Serena and I are going to have a picnic out at Kevin and Lucy's

duck pond.

Bobbie: Sounds fun.

Scott: Yeah, if you don't mind the duck poop. (Monica and Bobbie laugh.

Mike brings Scott a sack with the sandwiches.) Bye ladies.

Chris comes in and sits down at the other end of the bar and stares at

Bobbie and Monica.

Scene 8-Edward and Justus are at the ELQ offices.

Edward: So, instead of trying to figure out this Rex Stanton character,

A.J. decides not to show up today.

Justus: Edward, things are slow. Now, Rex Stanton isn't a concern. And,

after everything that's gone on I don't blame A.J. for taking a day off.

I think I'll be doing the same.

Justus walks out.

Edward: (Mumbles.) Tell Ms. Jenson I said hello.

Scene 9-Luke is walking to Nick's hospital room and he sees Julia who

look at him strange. He walks into Nick's room.

Luke: New lady friend?

Scene 10-Ned, Brenda, Brooke, and Lois are in the living room at the

gatehouse when Nicole walks in.

Ned: What happened to you?

Scene 1-Bobbie and Monica have had a few drinks and they are sitting at

the bar at The Recovery Room. Chris is at the other end of the bar.

Monica: You know he was staring at you.

Bobbie: Ok, we'll see. Give me a quarter.

Monica: Why?

Bobbie: Music. If really was staring at me, he'll dance.

Monica: Ok. (Monica digs a quarter out of her purse and gives it to

Bobbie.) Here.

A tipsy Bobbie bobs and weaves her way to the jukebox. She puts the

quarter in and picks "When A Man Loves A Woman." Joe and Frank come in.

Just as Bobbie is about to head over to Chris, she stumbles and falls

into Franks arms. She looks up into his eyes.

Bobbie: Hi. Um, care to dance?

Frank and Bobbie begin to dance. Joe watches, stunned. Kevin comes in

and sees and smiles over at Joe.

Monica: Chris, how was everything?

Chris: Good. (Chris plops down some money and walks over to Monica.)

Dr. Quartermaine.

Scene 2-Scott and Serena are at Kevin and Lucy's duck pond. They've just

finished eating lunch.

Scott: You really like it out here, don't you?

Serena: Yeah, daddy, it's so fun.

Scott: What do you think about getting our own little ducky pond?

Serena: I'd love to!

Serena goes to the pond and feeds the ducks some bread crumbs. Scott

walks over to her.

Scott: Did you like Eve?

Serena: What would you think about her being around more often?

Scene 3-Ned, Brooke, Lois, Brenda, and Nicole are at the gatehouse.

Nicole: Would you believe me, if I told you I don't know?

Ned: No.

Brenda: Ouch! That looks like it hurts.

Nicole: Not really.

Ned: Would you care to tell the story?

Lois: Ned, let me take care of this scratch before you go off on a

lecture.

Lois takes Nicole upstairs.

Nicole: You know why she did that?

Brenda: Ned, I'm sure Lois will find out what happened. Now, I better

go before I have to pay Michael's baby-sitter overtime.

Scene 4-Carly and A.J. are in the Quartermaine living room.

A.J.: You're pretty good with Lucas.

Carly: So, are you.

They look into each others' eyes and it is quiet for awhile.

A.J.: Well, it's a good thing Reginald's here. He knows where Cook

keeps those sugar-free cookies.

Carly: Yeah.

Lucas comes running back in the room.

Lucas: A.J., do you think the next time I come over I could invite my

new friend?

Carly: New friend?

Lucas: Serena, she lives just a little ways from here.

A.J.: Sure, kiddo.

A.J. rubs Lucas on the head, messing up his hair.

Scene 5-Nick and Luke are in Nick's hospital room.

Nick: That was Julia. She works for Jax.

Luke: That's it?

Nick smiles.

Nick: And, well, I don't mean to brag, but she's got the hots for me.

Lucky comes in.

Lucky: Hey.

Luke: Cowboy.

Lucky: Just thought I'd stop by before I go to dinner with Emily, Alan,

and Emily's sister, and her boyfriend.

Luke: Emily's sister?

Nick: Alan had a daughter he didn't know about.

Lucky: Anyhow, wish me luck since Big Al hates me big time.

Luke: Good luck.

Scene 6-Mac hangs up the telephone at The Outback. Robin comes in.

Mac: Hi Robin. How are you doing?

Robin: Good.

Mac: So, did you make up your mind about Yale?

Robin: I'm going back this summer.

Mac: How does Jason feel about that?

Robin: Jason's being very supportive.

Mac nods over to Renaldo, who is standing by the door.

Mac: Is he going to send his thugs up there to watch you?

Robin: Uncle Mac, Renaldo's not a thug, he's a bodyguard, and I don't

know.

Scene 7-Edward comes in the Quartermaine living room to find A.J.,

Carly, and Lucas.

Edward: So, this is how you spent your day?

A.J.: Grandfather, I'm not in the mood.

Carly: Come on, Lucas, we better go.

Carly and Lucas leave.

A.J.: Thanks grandfather.

Edward: Tomorrow I expect you to show up at the office and work with

Justus and I to find out more about this Rex Stanton, or I'll be having

the stockholders vote on your outster.

Scene 8-Alexis comes in the Webber house, where Jeff is in the living

room reading a magazine.

Jeff: how was Nickolas?

Alexis: He seemed good. (Looks around and sees things scattered all

over.) I thought Steve said he'd pick up this mess.

Jeff: I haven't seen him today.

Alexis picks up all of the clothes and books that are scattered all over

the room.

Alexis: (Walks over to the stairs and calls up them.) Jordy!

Jordan comes downstairs.

Jordan: Yeah?

Alexis: Has your brother come home?

Jordan: No.

The telephone rings, Jeff picks it up.

Jeff: Hello.

Amy: Jeff, this is Amy at the hospital. I called to tell you Steve was

just brought into Emergency, he's been in a car wreck.

Jeff: We'll be right down.

Jeff hangs up the telephone.

Alexis: What?

Jeff: Steve's at GH, he was in a wreck.

Scene 9-Tom and Simone finish packing the last of Simone's belongings.

Felicia walks by Simone is with Maxie and Georgie.

Felicia: What is this I hear about you moving?

Simone: I got a terrific job in Portland. I leave the end of this week.

Felicia: We're sure going to miss you.

Felicia hugs Simone.

Maxie: What about Tommy?

Simone: Tommy is staying here.

Scene 10-Jeremy and Lesley are in the hall at the hospital.

Lesley: Was it my fault you missed that meeting with Ellen?

Jeremy: No. Actually, I had forgotten about it.

Lesley: It was just to discuss the interns' progress in the lab.

Instead of talking to me about it, she talked to Tom. No biggie.

Part 281

Scene 1-Nicole and Lois are in the bathroom at the gatehouse. Lois is

putting some kind of cream on Nicole's scratch.

Lois: So, how did this happen?

Nicole: I had a disagreement with someone.

Lois: Who?

Nicole: It doesn't matter.

Lois: Who?

Nicole: Julianne Netsker.

Lois: Emily's friend? Why?

Nicole: It was about Lucky and Emily, she's determined to break them up.

Lois: Does Emily know this?

Nicole: No and I was trying to prevent her from finding out.

Scene 2-At The Recovery Room, Monica is sitting up at the bar. Chris

comes over to her. Bobbie and Frank are dancing. Joe and Karen are

watching. Mike is standing behind the bar.

Monica: Yes?

Chris: It's nice to see you outside of the hospital.

Monica: Yes, Dr. Ramsey.

Chris: Chris, call me Chris.

Karen: (Nodding toward a dancing Bobbie and Frank.) So, how'd that

happen?

Joe: Ms. Spencer just fell into his arms.

The songs ends. Frank looks down at Bobbie and smiles.

Bobbie: Thank you.

Bobbie walks over to Monica and Chris.

Monica: Having a good time?

Scene 3-Jax, Brenda, and Michael are at Brenda and Julia's hotel room.

Jax: Julia isn't here, yet?

Brenda: No.

Julia comes in.

Julia: But, I'm here now.

Jax: Ah- So, how was Nickolas?

Julia: He's going to be ok.

Scene 4-Nick is lying in his hospital bed. He fantasizes about Julia.

They are at a room at the Port Charles Hotel. They drink champagne and

then throw the glasses against the wall. They begin to kiss passionately

and fall to the bed. They begin to undress each other. Nick smiles at

his fantasy.

Scene 5-Scott and Serena are at Kevin and Lucy's duck pond.

Serena: I like Eve. She's like Karen and Lucy.

Scott: That's great, but, how is she like Karen and Lucy?

Serena: Karen's a doctor, Eve's a doctor.

Scott: Ok, now, how is she like Lucy?

Serena: The way she dresses.

Scott: (Pondering that thought.) Yeah, I could see your point.

Scene 6-Jeff, Alexis, and Jordan run into the ER. Amy is standing there

at the desk.

Jeff: Amy, where is he?

Amy: (Leading them to Steve's cubicle.) In here.

Steve is sitting in there holding an ice pack to his face. Eve is

filling out a chart behind him.

Jordan: Steve!

Jordan hugs Steve.

Jeff: (To Eve.) Is he ok?

Eve: He has a concussion, but he'll be ok.

Jeff: What happened?

Steve: Can I explain it once we get home?

Jeff: Sure.

Eve: Um, well, since your father's a doctor I guess we'll let you go.

Scene 7-Nicole and Lois come downstairs to Brooke and Ned.

Ned: Well, it's about time. Now, are you going to tell me what

happened?

Nicole: I got in a little shoving match with another girl. No big deal.

Nicole heads up to bed.

Ned: That's it?

Lois: Pretty much.

Scene 8-Bobbie and Monica are drunk and they are the only customers left

at The Recovery Room.

Mike: Ladies, time to go. (Bobbie and Monica get up and attempt to walk

out, but can not walk out by themselves.) On second thought, how about I

drive the two of you home?

M: Take us to the Port Charles Hotel.

Scene 9-Jeff, Alexis, Jordan, and Steve are in the Webber living room.

Jeff: So, what happened?

Steve: I was driving along and got to this intersection and I was

turning when this car comes flying along, running the stop signs. It

side swipes me as I try to avoid it, and I ran off the road and right

into the lamp post. The police already took my report.

Jordan: Did you get stitches?

Steve: Yeah. See this. (Points to his forehead.) That's a nasty gash I

got. They gave me twenty stitches.

Jordan: Cool!

Alexis: Yes, well, Jordy, you better get up to bed.

Scene 10-Carly and Lucas are at the Brownstone.

Carly: Well, your mom's not here.

Lucas: Carly, can you stay the night?

Carly: It looks like I'm going to have to.

Part 282

Scene 1-Mac is sitting at a table at The Outback. Felicia comes in.

Felicia: Morning. What are you doing here so early?

Mac: I have a meeting with someone.

Felicia: Who?

Mac: No one you know.

Felicia: So, you aren't going to tell me?

Mac: Bingo!

Scene 2-A.J., Lois, Emily, Nicole, Ned, Edward, Justus, and Lila are in

the Quartermaine living room, eating breakfast.

Lila: Emily, dear, I'm so glad you are back here with us.

Emily: So am I. No matter how bad things get here, I don't have to

worry about being locked up in a closet or people shooting at me.

A.J.: I wouldn't be so sure about that last part.

Nicole: Why would anyone come here and start shooting?

A.J.: Jason.

Emily: You are SO wrong.

Scene 3-Nick is just finishing getting dressed when Lucky walks in.

Lucky: So, I hear you're busting loose.

Nick: Yep. In fact, I was just getting ready to leave.

Lucky: Good thing I came, so I can drive you home.

Nick: Yeah, so tell me about last night. Was Alan ready to serve your

head on a platter?

Lucky: No. Actually, he was pretty decent to me. I think it'd to do with

Julie and her boyfriend Jake. Guess the man didn't want to make a bad

impression.

Nick finishes buttoning the last button on his shirt.

Nick: Well, let's go.

Nick and Lucky walk out of the room. As they walk down the hall, Nick

spots Julia.

Scene 4-Jason and Robin walk into Luke's where Luke is.

Luke: Wow! Long time no see Mrs. Morgan.

Robin: Luke.

Luke: So, what are you two doing here?

Jason: I came to check the books.

Luke: And you?

Robin: I thought maybe I'd finagle a breakfast out of you, and there is

something I have to tell you.

Luke: You can finagle anything out of me, you know that. Jason, you know

where I keep the books. (Jason goes to Luke's office.) So, what's up?

Scene 5-Lucy and Kevin are in bed. Kevin kisses Lucy until she wakes

up.

Scene 6-Jake and Julie at Jake's apartment. Jake is fixing a bagel.

Julie is reading the paper.

Jake: So, how do you think that dinner with your dad went?

Julie: I'd say it went pretty good. He seems to like you, but he knows

just about as much about you as he knows about me.

Jake: Well, that will probably change.

Julie: I hope so.

Jake: Anyhow, I have our trip planned out.

Julie: When do we leave?

Jake: Friday.

Julie: Still not going to tell me where we are going?

Jake: No.

Scene 7-Monica wakes up in her hotel room at the Port Charles Hotel with

a hangover.

Monica: Ouch!

She gets out of bed and walks to the bathroom, when she sees Alan

sitting at a chair in the corner.

Alan: Good morning, Monica.

Monica: Alan, what are you doing here?

Scene 8-Bobbie wakes up in her hotel room with a hangover. She wakes and

starts to get up and head to the bathroom, when she notices someone else

in the bed.

Bobbie: Oh my god! What did I do?

Bobbie pulls the blankets off the person there.

Chris: Ah! Good morning.

Chris smiles at her. Bobbie runs to the bathroom.

Scene 9-Justus goes into Dara's office.

Dara: Gee, thanks for knocking.

Justus: Sorry, something I'm not supposed to see.

Dara: No, I'm just teasing you. So, what brings you by?

Justus: I've had enough Quartermaine family togetherness for the day.

Plus, I missed you. Have the nightmares stopped?

Dara: No. But, they aren't as bad.

Justus: Maybe you should go see a professional about this. I've heard

Kevin Collins is a good psychiatrist.

Dara: I don't think I'll be going to him. If you recall, I put him on

trial for stalking Felicia Jones.

Justus: Oh, well, there's Gail Baldwin.

Dara: Ok, you know what, I'll make an appointment with her.

Justus: Good. Now, wish me luck I have to head off to ELQ and spend the

day with the old man.

Dara: Good luck.

Justus kisses her and heads off.

Scene 10-Carly and Lucas are in the kitchen at the Brownstone. Carly

piles on some pancakes onto Lucas' plate.

Carly: Here you go, blueberry pancakes, your favorite.

Lucas: Thanks Carly. Do you know where mommy is?

Carly: No, I don't Lucas. She hasn't called or come home.

There is a knock at the front door, Carly runs to it. It is Laura.

Laura: I came by to visit Bobbie. Luke told me she went back to work

yesterday.

Carly: She isn't here and she didn't come home last night. Frankly, I'm

Scene 1-A.J., Justus, and Edward are at ELQ.

A.J.: Ah, here we go, some info on Mr. Stanton.

Edward: What? What do you have?

A.J.: Nothing big. (Looks at the computer screen a little closer.)

Except for the fact that he has a doctor over at Mercy on his payroll.

Justus: What's the big deal about that?

Edward: Yeah.

A.J.: Don't you find it odd this man made a donation to GH this

Christmas and he keeps a doctor at Mercy on his payroll?

Edward: Yes, but... Do you think we could find out more about this?

A.J.: Hmmm... Maybe.

Scene 2-Nick, Lucky, and Julia are in the hall at the hospital.

Nick: Um, Lucky, why don't you go on.

Lucky: (Smiling.) Sure.

Lucky walks off.

Julia: Hello. So, you're getting out of here?

Nick: Yeah. Why are you here?

Julia: I came to tell you that whatever you feel for me, it's not going

to change the current situation. Jax and I are together now and that

isn't going to change because you have feelings for me. See I don't

feel the same way about you.

Nick: Oh. You don't?

Julia: No. Now, I have to be going.

Julia walks off.

Scene 3-Emily and Nicole are walking through the rose garden at the

Quartermaine estate.

Emily: How did you get that scratch?

Nicole: Cat fight.

Emily: With who?

Nicole: Um, nobody you know.

Emily: Oh. So, how were things while I was gone?

Nicole: Strange. It was actually quiet here. Everybody was devastated.

And, Lucky, he was constantly trying to put two and two together to find

you. And your parents, well, I guess you know what happened.

Emily: I know something happened, but I don't know why.

Nicole: Your mom did something, that's all I know. Alan came in here one

day furious and I was told to go right back out the living room door and

I did.

Scene 4-Robin and Luke are at Luke's.

Luke: You know I'm gonna miss you.

Robin: I'm going to miss you, too. But, this is something I have got to

do.

Luke: Yeah. (Jason comes out from back.) Well, everything look ok?

Jason: Everything is a-ok.

Luke: Good.

Jason: We'll be going.

Laura comes in.

Luke: Hi babe. I thought you were going to go visit Bobbie?

Laura: She isn't home and Carly hasn't seen her since she went to work

yesterday.

Jason: Luke, I could check on this for you.

Scene 5-Kevin leaves the lighthouse and Lucy gets on the telephone.

Lucy: Yes, I need to make an appointment with Dr. Newman... Ok, thank

Scene 6-A man walks into The Outback and straight to Mac's table.

Felicia looks at the guy suspiciously.

Man: Mac!

Mac: Hello Joseph.

Joseph: So, do you have the jewel?

Mac: Yes, here it is.

Mac shows it to him.

Joseph: That's exactly what I was looking for.

Mac: You know my price then.

Joseph: Yes. Here. (Hands Mac and envelope.) That is the cashier's

check for twenty-five thousand dollars.

Mac: Thanks, mate.

Joseph: No problem. I guess I'll be seeing you.

Mac: Bye.

Joseph leaves. Mac goes up to the bar.

Felicia: That was about the jewel?

Mac: Yes. I got a pretty penny for it.

Felicia: You sold it?

Mac: Yeah, gotta a problem with it?

Scene 7-Jake and Julie and Jake's apartment.

Julie: So, how long are we going to be gone?

Jake: Just a few days.

Scene 8-Alan and Monica are in a hotel room at the Port Charles Hotel.

Alan: I was thinking the other night.

Monica: About?

Alan: Us.

Monica: What about us?

Alan: I think that once we sort everything out, we can come to some sort

of agreement.

Monica: Agreement?

Alan: On the status of our marriage.

Scene 9-Jason, Luke, Laura, and Robin are at Luke's. Jason has just

gotten off his cellular phone.

Jason: She checked into the Port Charles Hotel last night.

Luke: Hmmm... Wonder why she did that.

Robin: Maybe she needed to get out of that house.

Luke: Maybe. (Mike comes in.) Mike, what brings you in?

Mike: I saw your sister last night.

Scene 10-Lucy goes into Dr. Newman's office.

Dr. Newman: Hello Lucy.

Lucy: Well, I'm ready. Give me a pregnancy test.

Scene 1-A.J., Justus, and Edward are at ELQ.

A.J.: You know I recognize this doctor's name.

Edward: I've never seen it.

Justus: Me, either.

A.J.: Well, I know I have.

Justus: A.J., there could be several reasons.

A.J.: I guess so.

Scene 2-Lois runs into Nicole and Emily in the Quartermaine rose garden.

Lois: Hey, you two.

Emily: Lois, what are you doing out here?

Lois: I came here to concentrate and think about the farewell concert.

I've almost got it all tied up.

Nicole: That's great. You know I'm really nervous about this.

Emily: Yeah, your big premiere.

Lucky comes strolling up to the group.

Lucky: Hey.

Emily: (She goes to him and hugs him.) Lucky!

Lucky: Reginald told me you were back here. (Nicole turns her face and

Lucky can see her scratch.) What happened?

Scene 3-Nick is at the counter of Kelly's. Brenda comes in and walks up

to the counter.

Nick: Hello.

Brenda: Hi. So on top of school, an internship at Jax, and playing a

hero, you're working here?

Nick: Yeah, but only as a favor for my cousin.

Brenda: Aren't you a great guy?

Nick: I think so. (Brenda laughs.) So, how's your son?

Brenda: Good. Enjoying spending some quality time with the baby-sitter.

Jax and Julia come in.

Julia: Oh.

Nick back up the counter.

Nick: (To Brenda.) Excuse me. (He runs over to the table that Jax and

Julia have sat down at.) Hi. What can I get for you two today?

Scene 4-Scott and Karen are in a hall at the hospital.

Scott: I'm glad I caught you.

Karen: Oh?

Scott: Yeah. I wanted to take you and Joe out to celebrate these

results of yours that are going to be published.

Karen: That'd be great.

Scene 5-Bobbie places her key on the front desk at the Port Charles

Hotel and begins to walk off. Luke walks up to her.

Luke: Hello little sister.

Bobbie: Luke!

Scene 6-Mac and Felicia are at The Outback.

Felicia: So, you just sold something that probably wasn't yours to sell?

Mac: Yeah.

Felicia: And what are you going to do with the money?

Mac: Don't worry, it'll be put to good use.

Scene 7-Jake is in the on-call room putting some things in a gym bag.

Eve comes in and sees him putting a ring box in the bag.

Eve: What's that?

Jake: What do you think?

Eve: A ring? Oh my gosh, is that for Julie?

Joe and Karen come in the room.

Joe: So, he wants to take us out to dinner tonight?

Karen: Yeah.

Chris comes in.

Scene 8-Lucy is anxiously sitting in Dr. Newman's office. Dr. Newman

comes in.

Lucy: Ok, was it a plus?

Dr. Newman: Lucy, um, the test results are back, yet. And, they don't

work that way. It'll be a few hours before I can give you an answer.

Scene 9-A.J. is in his office at ELQ. He opens a file and finds Julie's

DNA tests.

A.J.: Bingo! Here's where I've heard of that doctor.

Scene 10-Alan and Monica are at the Port Charles Hotel.

Monica: Our marriage, the status?

Alan: Yeah. Do you want to continue to live like this? Or, do you want

us to get back together?

Scene 1-Nicole, Lois, Lucky, and Emily are in the Quartermaine rose

garden.

Nicole: It's no big deal.

Lois: You know what. We have to work on something for the Eddie Maine

concert, so we'll go.

Lucky: Bye. (They leave.) So, how are you?

Emily: Great, especially since you are here.

Scene 2-Nick drops some food of at Jax and Julia's table and goes back

up to the counter where Brenda is.

Brenda: Give it up. Those two are inseparable.

Katherine comes in and up to the counter.

Katherine: Nickolas.

Nick: Hello Katherine. What can I get you?

Katherine: Coffee. (Nick pours her coffee and continues to stare at

Julia.) Oh, this is bad.

Brenda: That's what I was thinking.

Nick: (Not having heard what the two were saying.) What?

Scene 3-Luke and Bobbie are in the lobby at the Port Charles Hotel.

Luke: So, what are you doing here?

Bobbie: I spent the night.

Luke: Neglecting to let your daughter and son know where you are.

Bobbie: How did you find out?

Luke: Lucked out. Jason and Robin came into the club. Jason helped me

find out. So, are you going to tell me?

Scene 4-Lesley are Jeremy are standing at the nurses station at the

hospital. Scott walks by them.

Scott: Hello Lesley.

Scott continues to walk on.

Jeremy: Who was that?

Lesley: Scott Baldwin, he used to be married to Laura.

Jeremy: Oh. So, are we rescheduling that dinner with the Spencer clan?

Lesley: Sure. How about this Friday?

Jeremy: Sounds great.

Scene 5-Dara walks into Gail's office at the hospital.

Gail: Hello Dara.

Dara: Dr. Baldwin.

Gail: What seems to be your problem?

Dara: I keep having this continual dream about an experience that I had

as a child.

Gail: Tell me about it.

Scene 6-Alan and Monica are in the hotel room.

Monica: Alan, I'd like for us to get back together.

Alan: Honestly?

Monica: Yes. I do want us back.

Alan: Wanting us back and working on getting us back are two different

things. You have to try, Monica. And, so do I. We have to try to get by

this incident with Rick and move on. You think we can do that?

Monica: I'm willing to try.

Alan: So am I.

Scene 7-Felicia is up at the bar at The Outback. Jason and Robin come

in.

Felicia: Well, hi you two, what brings you by?

Robin: I finagled Luke out of breakfast, I thought I could get a free

lunch from uncle Mac.

Jason: (Looking over at Renaldo.) Um, excuse me, I have some business

to take care of.

Jason walks off.

Robin: So, where is uncle Mac?

Felicia: Probably cashing the huge check he got.

Robin: Huge check? For what?

Scene 8-Lucy goes back into Dr. Newman's office.

Lucy: So, do you have the test results, yet?

Dr. Newman: Yes.

Lucy: And?

Dr. Newman: Lucy, you're pregnant.

Scene 9-Joe, Karen, Chris, Eve, and Jake are in the on-call room at the

hospital.

Eve: Well, at least one of us had a good night.

Jake: Yeah. Burgess has been making all of us work like dogs.

Joe: Probably because we're down a man.

Karen: Yeah. Hey, where's Julie? She better not show up late for this

meeting, Burgess will have her head.

Scene 2-Ned comes into the gatehouse where Lois is.

Ned: I just saw Lucky leaving the rose garden.

Lois: Yeah. He and Em were visiting.

Ned: It's great to have things back to normal.

Lois: Yeah. (Pulls Ned into a kiss.) Oh, I got good news.

Ned: What?

Lois: I managed to talk Dara Jenson into being part of the concert at

The Outback.

Ned: Really, how's you manage that?

Lois: Well, I have my ways.

Scene 3-Luke and Bobbie are at the Brownstone.

Luke: so, you had too much to drink and that's it?

Bobbie: Yes. That's it.

Carly and Lucas come in the room.

Scene 4-Brenda and Nick are walking along the docks, eating ice cream.

Brenda: So, I'm taking the job and I'm going to try and find a house out

there instead of the one I picked out here.

Alexis is walking along the docks.

Nick: Ok. Um, Alexis Webber, this is Brenda Corinthos.

Scene 5-Scott is walking through the park and bumps into Katherine.

Scott: Hi Katherine.

Katherine: Scott.

Scott: What are you doing here?

Katherine: Thinking.

Lucy comes walking through the park, beaming.

Scott: Lucy.

Katherine: Oh no.

Lucy: Nice to see you, too, Kathy.

Scott: Well, what put that smile on your face.

Lucy: Ah, I can't tell you right now, but it's big.

Katherine: What are you leaving town?

Lucy: Ha. No. This is good news, and amazingly enough, I'm so happy

about it, not even you could get on my nerves.

Scene 6-Gail and Dara are at Gail's office at the hospital.

Dara: Thank you, Dr. Baldwin.

Gail: We got through some crucial steps, Dara. I'd like for you to

schedule another appointment later this week.

Scene 7-Tom stands at the nurses station with a copy of The New England

Journal of Medicine. Lesley, Jeremy, Audrey, and Mary stand there

looking at it.

Tom: Well, here it is.

Mary: I'm so proud of Joe.

Scene 8-Lucky comes running into the Spencer house. Laura and Lesley Lu

are in the living room.

Laura: What's your big hurry?

Lucky: I have to find something to wear tonight.

Laura: Tonight?

Lucky: Emily and I have a date. We're going to the club.

Scene 9-Brenda, Nick, and Alexis are at the docks.

Brenda: Hello.

Nick: So, where's Steve been hiding? He didn't come into Kelly's today.

Alexis: He was in a car accident last night.

Nick: Oh. Is he ok?

Alexis: Yeah, he just had a concussion. He's going to be ok.

Scene 10-Edward, Justus, and A.J. are in the Quartermaine living room.

A.J.: I found out why I recognized that doctor's name.

Edward: Why?

A.J.: Julie's DNA test.

Edward: What?!?

Justus: You had DNA tests done?!?

A.J.: We had to be sure.

Edward: A.J., find out more things about this doctor. (Emily comes in

the room with a smile spread across her face.) What are you so happy

about?

Emily: I'm home, safe, and Lucky and I have a date tonight.

Alan and Monica come in.

Scene 1-Jax and Julia outside of Kelly's.

Jax: Have any plans for tonight?

Julia: No, why?

Jax: I thought we might go to Luke's this evening and check out this

local singer there.

Scene 2-Jason and Robin are sitting at a table at The Outback.

Jason: So, Mac sold this jewel?

Robin: Yeah.

Jason: I think that Emily's kidnapper had a jewel like the one you just

described. Emily mentioned something about it.

Robin: Do you think it was stolen?

Jason: Coulda been. But, I wouldn't worry about it.

Mac comes up from behind.

Mac: Worry about what?

Scene 3-Jake and Julie are outside of the hospital.

Jake: Ready to go?

Julie: Yeah. A couple of days away from Port Charles will probably do

me some good.

Jake: To the airport.

Scene 4-Scott is standing outside of the hospital entrance. Eve comes

out.

Eve: Waiting for me?

Scott: Actually, I was waiting for Joe and Karen. I'm taking them out

to celebrate.

Eve: Oh, yes, celebrate.

Joe and Karen come out.

Joe: Scott, Eve.

Eve: Um, Joe, can I talk to you for a second?

Joe: Sure.

Scott: What's that about?

Joe and Eve go off a little ways to talk.

Karen: I don't know.

Eve: I thought you might wanna warn your brother. Jake and Julie are

going to Vegas and getting hitched.

Joe: How do you know this?

Scene 5-Brenda walks in the Quartermaine living room where Edward,

Justus, A.J., Ned, Nicole, Lois, Emily, Alan, and Monica are.

Emily: I'm going! I don't care what you say!

Emily storms upstairs.

Monica: Alan, maybe we should let her go. After all, Lucky did save her

life.

Alan and Monica walk out of the room.

Edward: Ok?

Ned: The rest of the family already knows this grandfather. But, the

reason this concert's a farewell concert isn't because I'm leaving music

behind, it's because my family and I are moving to Bensonhurst.

Edward: You're what?!?

A.J. and Justus walk out of the room and are greeted by Dara and Carly.

Justus: What a surprise!

A.J.: And, a nice one.

Dara: I came to rescue from the ruckus, Justus.

Scene 6-Lucy has Kevin in the living room at the lighthouse.

Lucy: Kevin, I have some big news.

Kevin: What is it, Lucy?

Lucy: Um, I'm not sure how to tell this to you... So, I guess I'll just

come out and say it...

Kevin: Ok.

Lucy: I'm pregnant!

Scene 7-Tom, Tommy, and Simone are at the Port Charles International

Airport.

Simone: Goodbye.

Simone gets on a plane. A tear streams down Tom's face. Tommy is crying.

Tom puts his arm around his son, as they watch Simone's plane take off.

Scene 8-Lesley and Jeremy are in the hall at GH.

Lesley: Laura says Lucky has a date tonight and Luke's working at the

club, so they can't do this dinner thing tonight. But, I thought maybe

we could go to the club.

Jeremy: Sounds great.

Scene 9-Lucky gets ready going through his suits. Finally, he picks the

right one. A simple black suit with a white dress shirt. He runs his

fingers through his hair trying to get it to look just right. His mom

Scene 2-Nick shows up at the Webber house with Alexis. Jeff is in the

living room reading a magazine.

Nick: Hi. (Goes upstairs to see Steve.) I happened to run into Alexis.

Are you ok?

Steve: Yeah, I'll be ok. Are you?

Nick: Yeah.

Steve: So, how'd things with you and Julia go?

Nick: Well...

Scene 3-Karen, Joe, Scott go into The Outback. Felicia and Mac are

there.

Felicia: I'm glad we have some customers.

Scott: Where is everybody?

Mac: Probably at Luke's. There's a local singer there that everybody is

raving about.

Scott: Ah.

They sit down.

Karen: Joe, did you get a hold of Frank?

Joe: Yeah, I told him and how he's going to fly out there and try to

stop them.

Karen: Maybe you should stop him.

Joe: No, he's going to do what he's going to do no matter what.

Karen: Ok.

Scott: Come on, let's celebrate.

Felicia: Lucy, Kevin, you look very happy.

here. And, Nicole and I have some things to discuss with her.

Edward: You are taking my great granddaughters away from me? I forbid

Lila comes in.

Lila: You can't!

Scene 5-Julie and Jake are on an airplane.

Julie: We're going to Las Vegas?

Jake: Yeah, get ready to take a gamble.

Scene 6-Frank and Eve are standing in the court yard between the two

wings of General Hospital.

Frank: How did you find out?

Eve: I saw the ring box and the plane tickets. I put two and two

together.

Frank: Well, I'm going after Julie.

Eve: Do you think that's a good idea?

Frank: I have to stop Julie from making a mistake.

Scene 7-Lesley and Jeremy walk into Luke's and up to the bar, where Luke

is.

Luke: Les, how ya doin'?

Lesley: I'm good. Luke Spencer, I'd like to introduce you to my friend

Dr. Jeremy Erickson.

Luke: Hi doc Erickson.

Jeremy: Mr. Spencer.

Luke: Luke will do.

Jeremy: Then, call me Jeremy.

Jeremy puts out his hand for Luke to shake. Luke looks at the man

carefully and reluctantly shakes his hand.

Luke: Nice to meet ya, Jeremy.

Lesley: Now, could we get a table?

Luke: Sure. I have the perfect table. Right up by the stage. I'm sure

you two will enjoy the show tonight.

Scene 8-Tom and Tommy run into Audrey in the hall at the hospital.

Tom: Mother. Tommy and just dropped Simone off at the airport and saw

her off. I was hoping that you could watch Tommy tonight, I have some

paper work to catch up on.
