Part 44

Scene 1-Robin is at the Wellness Center. Robin calls Jason.

J: Hello.

R: Jason.

J: Robin, what is it?

R: Emily has been brought to GH.

J: For what?

R: Heroin overdose is what I've heard.

J: Huh? Thanks for calling.

R: I love you. Be safe.

J: I will. (Hangs up.) I thought we took care of the drugs.

Scene 2-The next morning; Kevin and Lucy are at the lighthouse, having

breakfast.

K: Morning.

L: Yes.

Serena is hiding on the stairs.

K: So, what's it like having the child you gave birth to back in town?

Serena is shocked by what Kevin just said.

Scene 3-Justus, Edward, and Lila are at the Quartermaine mansion.

J: So have you heard about Emily?

L: They have her stabilized.

E: This was the worst thing that could happen. First, we have the Dorman

mess, now, Emily is in the hospital for a drug overdose. (Ned walks in.)

We really didn't need more scandal.

N: Did I hear you right?

Scene 4-Scott is in his car on his car phone.

S: Oh, that's great... Please, be sure to have that delivered this

afternoon... Now, do you have that information on Jasper Jacks for

me?... Just fax it to me.

Scene 5-Katherine and Stefan are at Wyndemere.

S: What did Mr. Baldwin want?

K: Deception.

S: Oh, really?

K: Yes.

S: Well, we might just let him have it, for a fair price.

K: What do you have in mind?

Scene 6-Tom is at his apartment at the Brownstone on the computer.

T: So, you got to my disk?

Tommy comes running in.

Tommy: Dad! Dad!

T: What is it?

Tommy hands him a disk.

Scene 7-A.J., Alan, Monica, Nikolas, and Lucky are all waiting for word

on Emily's condition at GH. Bobbie and Tony come out.

M: How is she Bobbie?

B: She's ok. She just woke up, but she's still kind of out of it.

Alan: Can we see her?

T: Sure. You, A.J., and Monica can go on in right now.

A.J., Alan, and Monica go into Emily's hospital room.

N: You know Spencer, you're not half bad.

L: Back at ya.

B: Does this mean you two have called a truce?

Gina comes in.

G: A truce?

N: Yes.

Ned comes running in.

Ned: Where's Emily? What happened?

Scene 8-Rick and Lesley are on their way to GH.

R: Well, are you ready to see everyone?

L: Yes, I guess so.

R: What does that mean?

Scene 9-Luke and Laura are at the Spencer home having breakfast.

Laura: Can you watch Lulu today?

Luke: Actually, Tom and I are going to meet after his meeting with

Stefan. Where are you going to be?

Laura: I was going to see how Emily is doing.

Luke: I'll take Lu by Ruby's. Tell Emily I said hi. Bye sweetie.

Luke picks up Lu and leaves.

Scene 10-Stefan and Tom are in the GH library.

T: Ok, Mr. Cassadine, what is this meeting about?

S: About the position as assistant chief of staff.

T: What about it?

S: Monica and I were discussing the need for an assistant chief of

staff. It is going to be necessary, especially now that Monica's

daughter is in the hospital. I felt you were the most viable candidate,

with Alan trying to become a surgeon.

T: How long do I have to mull this over?

S: I would appreciate an answer as soon as possible.

T: Ok.

Alexis comes in.

A: Stefan I need to talk to you about that matter.

S: Yes.

T: Thank you for the opportunity.

Tom leaves.

S: What is it, Alexis?

Part 45

Scene 1-Mac is examining the wallet. Taggert and Felicia are there with

him at his office at the PCPD.

M: Tony Jones.

F: That's Tony's wallet?

M: Yes, well, I guess that's where we'll start.

Scene 2-Kevin and Lucy are at the lighthouse, Serena had just heard part

of their conversation.

L: Morning, Serena.

S: Morning, Lucy can we talk?

L: Sure, Kevin.

K: I'll leave you two alone.

Kevin leaves.

L: What is it Serena?

S: It's about my mother.

Scene 3-Scott gets a fax, at his house.

S: Oh Mr. Jacks, you devil.

Katherine comes in.

K: Your butler let me in.

S: I'll be sure that he doesn't make that mistake, again.

K: Hold on, Stefan has come up with a proposition for you to get

Deception back.

S: Hmmm... Ok... Shoot!

Scene 4-Jason, Robin, and Justus are all at the GH entrance.

Justus: Have the two of you heard about Emily's condition?

R: No, but we were about to go in.

Jason: But... (Sonny and Brenda come along.) Sonny, I need to talk to

you.

S: Yeah.

Sonny and Jason go to the side to discuss things.

B: Emily was on drugs?

Justus: That's what we've been told.

R: We should go in.

B: Yeah.

Brenda, Justus, and Robin go in.

Scene 5-Alan, A.J., and Monica are at Emily's bedside.

M: Em.

E: Monica. (Turns and sees A.J. and Alan) A.J., Alan.

A.J.: Kiddo.

Alan: I'm glad you're ok.

E: Really?

Alan: Of course.

Scene 6-Ned, Lucky, Nikolas, Gina, Bobbie and Tony are outside of

Emily's hospital room. Robin, Justus, and Brenda come along.

Brenda: So, how is she?

Bobbie: She'll be fine.

R: Does anybody know if this is the first time Emily's used drugs?

T: No, but typically with this hard of drug, this isn't the first drug

that's been tried.

L: Really?

Nikolas is shocked, he thinks back to the day when he saw Emily high.

Scene 7-A.J., Alan, and Monica are at Emily's bedside.

M: Emily, we love you, all of us do. And if you were having a problem,

you could have come to us.

E: How could I? You've all been busy. You, with the hospital and the

Dorman mess; Alan, trying to be a surgeon; and A.J. running ELQ. You

never have time.

Alan: We would make the time.

M: Sweetie, we love you and you take precedence over everything.

Alan: She's right, Em. I've got to ask you something.

E: What?

Alan: Is this the first time you've tried drugs?

Scene 8-Luke and Tom meet in Tom's office at GH.

L: What was it about?

T: The assistant chief of staff position and I think I should take it.

L: Yeah, play in his hands. Maybe you'll find something out.

T: Sure.

Rick and Lesley come in.

R: I brought Lesley in for your medical expertise and I came in the

hopes of talking to Monica about working at GH.

T: She's here. But, I'm not sure she'll be in the mood to talk business.

Her daughter was brought in the hospital last night. Drug overdose.

Tears role down Rick's face. Rick gets upset and runs out.

Lesley: What's wrong?

L: I'll explain.

Scene 9-At the GH waiting area outside of Emily's hospital room; Lucky,

Nikolas, Gina, Ned, Justus, Bobbie, and Tony are there.

L: Tony will we be able to see her later?

T: Sure, a few visitors at a time, after her family.

Laura comes in.

Laura: Tony, how is she?

T: Stable.

Laura sees Nikolas.

Laura: Hello Nikolas.

Then, Laura goes over to Lucky.

L: Mom, (He hugs his mother.) we found her. Nikolas and me.

Sonny and Jason come in.

Jason: Where are Robin and Brenda?

B: They went to the cafeteria to get coffee.

S: Justus, can we talk?

Justus: Sure.

Justus and Sonny go off to the side. Felicia, Taggert, and Mac come in.

Nikolas: Well, this looks like a town meeting.

M: Tony, we need to talk to you.

T: About what?

Taggert: Pierce Dorman's murder.

Part 46

Scene 1-Lucy and Serena are at the lighthouse.

L: So, your mom was ill and couldn't carry a child. They didn't know how

long she'd have. (Tears up.) So, I told her I'd do this for her.

S: Why?

L: She was my best friend. We weren't related, but we, in our hearts we

were like sisters.

S: Oh.

Kevin comes downstairs.

K: Hope I'm not interrupting, but I believe Scott's here.

L: You better get dressed.

S: Ok.

Serena runs upstairs to get dressed, while Lucy answers the door with

her eyes all red.

Scott: What's wrong?

Scene 2-Katherine and Alexis bump into each other in a hall at GH.

A: Katherine, just who I wanted to see.

K: Hello.

A: What did Scott have to say?

Luke sees Katherine and Alexis together.

L: Did you say Scott?

K: Yes, as in Baldwin.

L: You're kidding.

Scene 3-Lois calls the Quartermaine mansion.

Reginald: Mr. Quartermaine, Mrs. Ashton is on the phone.

Edward picks up the phone.

Lila: Thank you Reggie.

E: Lois, where are you?

Lois: Brooklyn, you mean Ned didn't tell you?

E: He ran off to quickly when he found out. What are you there?

Lois: There was a death in my family. Found out what?

E: Emily's in the hospital, a drug overdose.

Lois: Oh, my. Um, Mr. Q I'm going to be there as soon as I can.

E: She's going to be ok.

Lois: I'm not too sure about that. I'm coming back.

Scene 4-Jax is on the phone at his penthouse.

J: Hi... Oh, it's you... I think it would be a good idea to avoid her...

You're not as dumb as I thought... Ok, I'll give you some credit... What

are you getting out of this whole thing?... Yes, it always comes down to

the almighty dollar, doesn't it?... I suggest you be very cautious and

this probably isn't the best time for a return visit... It's a long

story.

Scene 5-Carly's plane lands in Florida.

C: Now, I can go to the one thing that I have left, my mother.

Scene 6-Edward walks into the Quartermaine dining room, where he was

previously with Lila, prior to the telephone call.

L: What did Lois want?

E: To talk to Ned. She was in Brooklyn.

L: Why?

E: A death in her family.

L: Let's just hope she doesn't run into...

E: Please, don't mention that name while I'm trying to eat.

Scene 7-Alan, A.J., and Monica are in Emily's hospital room.

Alan: Is this the first time?

E: Alan... This...

Bobbie comes in.

B: Excuse me, Emily needs to get some rest.

Alan: But...

M: Come on, Alan. She's right. (Looks at Emily.) She can answer your

questions later.

A.J.: Yeah, dad.

Monica, A.J., and Alan leave.

B: So, what was the big question?

E: Alan asked if I had done drugs before.

B: And you have, haven't you?

Scene 8-Rick goes to the GH nurses station, where Audrey is. Audrey is

surprised when she sees Rick.

R: Hi.

A: Rick Webber, well, this is a surprise.

R: There's more to follow. Can you tell me where they have Monica's

daughter, Emily?

A: Sure, but...

R: I'll explain later.

Scene 9-Outside Emily's hospital room; A.J., Alan, Monica, Lucky, Laura,

Nikolas, Gina, Ned, and Jason are there.

J: How is she?

M: Jason, I'm glad you are here.

J: How is she?

Alan: She's fine, resting.

Laura: I'm glad she's ok.

M: Thank you.

G: (To Nikolas.) Well, I better go.

Gina leaves.

Alan: Where's Tony?

Nikolas: Mac took him somewhere for questioning.

Ned: It has something to do with Dorman's murder.

Scene 10-Lesley and Tom are having a session, when Lesley checks the

clock and wonders if Rick is alright.

T: I'm sure he'll be ok.

L: No, I've got to find him.

Lesley goes to find him and Tom follows.

Part 47

Scene 1-Sonny and Justus are talking in a corner, Robin and Brenda come

along.

Justus: You're right. If they'll question Tony, they'll be questioning

everyone.

Brenda: What are you talking about?

Sonny: Dorman.

Robin: Please, just tell me Jason had nothing to do with it.

Scene 2-Mac, Taggert, Tony, and Felicia are in Tony's office.

Taggert: Your wallet was stolen?

Tony: Maybe, I had thought I'd lost when I took Lucas out to Spoon

Island, but it could have been stolen.

Mac: I think it might've been. There's no money in it. How much did you

have in it?

Tony: Not much, maybe forty dollars.

Taggert: We've had a lot of juvie pick pockets who are doing it for drug

money and we found drugs at Dorman's, could have been theft.

Scene 3-Edward and Lila are watching TV.

>Veronica Bowles: On tonight's news, more Quartermaine scandal. A

Quartermaine hospitalized for a drug overdose and four of the

Quartermaines are on the list of suspects recently released by

Commissioner Scorpio in the Pierce Dorman murder case.<

Edward: Terrific, more scandal.

Lois walks in.

Lois: What's new?

Scene 4-Stefan, Katherine, and Alexis are at the GH library.

Stefan: He'll except those conditions?

Katherine: Yes, but he has a few conditions of his own.

Stefan: Alexis.

Alexis: Yes?

Stefan: How is the Quartermaine girl?

Alexis: I haven't heard.

Stefan: Why don't we go check on her condition.

Scene 5-Serena and Scott are getting ready to leave the lighthouse.

Scott: Thanks. We better go before the press tramples through our

grounds to get to the Quartermaines'.

Kevin: The Dorman murder case?

Scott: Not to mention Alan and Monica's daughter's drug overdose.

Lucy: Emily?

Scott: Yeah, that's her name.

Scene 6-Outside of Emily's hospital room.

Bobbie: I can't believe they think that Tony could have killed Dorman.

Justus: Me either. I think it was an informal questioning, however. A

lot of people will probably be put through this.

Alan: I'm sure we will.

Rick shows up.

Monica: Rick!

Laura: Dad.

Jason: (To Sonny.) Who's this?

Sonny: Rick Webber, he used to be a doctor here.

Bobbie: What're you doing here?

Rick: It's a long story, but I heard about Alan and Monica's daughter. I

thought maybe I should talk to her.

Alan: Why?

Stefan, Katherine and Alexis show up.

Stefan: Well, this is quite a gathering.

Laura: What are you doing here?

Stefan: I wanted to check on Emily's condition. Now, here is a

question, why are you here, Dr. Webber?

Rick: Who are you?

Stefan: (Offering his hand to Rick.) Stefan Cassadine.

Rick stares at him. Lesley comes running in. Everyone is shocked. Luke,

Laura, Lucky and Rick walk to Lesley. Nikolas is confused.

Scene 7-Lois stops at the nurses station.

Lois: Amy, where do they have Emily?

Tom comes by.

Tom: Follow me. I'm headed that way.

Lois: Sure.

Tom and Lois run off.

Scene 8-Jax's looking through an address book.

Jax: Miranda there's got to be someone else in here that I don't know.

(He thumbs through and finds an address he's going to check out.)

Hmmm...

Jax gets on the phone.

Scene 9-Carly goes to Virginia Benson's house, and finds her adopted

mother lying on the floor dead.

Scene 10-Tony goes in to see Emily.

Tony: How are you feeling?

Emily: Um, ok, what’s going on out there?

Tony: I'm not really sure, I've been kind of busy.

Emily: With what?

Tom: I was just questioned about Dorman's murder.

Part 48

Scene 1-Outside of Emily's room, everyone's mystified by Lesley's

reappearance.

Alan: You're alive!

Monica: Lesley?

Lesley: Yes.

Luke: She is lucky to be alive, with what Stefan pumped her full of.

Stefan: I kept her alive. Only to believe that she had been killed in

that explosion.

Laura: You drugged her!

Bobbie: Stefan, is this true?

Stefan: No, Barbara it's another Spencer farce.

Nikolas: Nothing new. Once again, the Spencers cry wolf. There is no

truce.

Nikolas leaves. Lois and Tom arrive.

Tom: Looks like I'm too late.

Lois: I'm not sure what's going on.

A.J.: Join the club.

Ned: Lois.

Lois: I think I'll go in and see Emily.

Ned and Lois go in.

Monica: I think we all need a little explanation of what's going on

here.

Sonny: We should leave.

Justus, Sonny, Jason, Brenda, and Robin leave.

Katherine: I'm lost, but Luke, enlighten us.

Mac comes in.

Mac: I'd like to talk to A.J.

A.J.: Sure.

Mac and A.J. leave.

Stefan: Spencer, go ahead.

Scene 2-Nikolas runs into Gina in the hall.

Gina: What's wrong?

Nikolas: They've all lied to me.

Gina: Who?

Nikolas: My family. My grandmother, Lesley's alive.

Scene 3-Kevin and Lucy are at the lighthouse.

Lucy: What time is your meeting with Stefan?

Kevin: Four.

Lucy: That'll give me plenty to visit Emily before our dinner

reservation.

Kevin: Good.

Lucy: What's the meeting about?

Kevin: My job.

Lucy: And what exactly is that?

Kevin: I'm not sure, but we have to go.

Lucy: Ok.

They leave, the phone rings.

Scene 4-Scott's on the other end of the phone that's ringing at the

lighthouse.

Scott: I guess I'll have to catch you at the hospital.

Scene 5-Justus, Sonny, Jason, Robin, and Brenda are in the hall.

Jason: What was that all about?

Sonny: March 9th, 1984.

Justus: What about that date?

Brenda: What does that have to do with Laura's mother?

Sonny: That's the day Lesley Webber supposedly died.

Justus: That's why Luke and Laura pulled that scheme?

Sonny: Yeah. I think they were trying to protect Lesley from the

Cassadines, that's why I don't understand why Luke came back.

Robin: Bobbie, that's why.

Sonny: Maybe Cassadine is using her as a pawn.

Justus: Could be.

Scene 6-Outside of Emily's room, everyone's listening to Luke's story.

Bobbie: Please, Luke, explain how my husband drugged her.

Luke: Ok, little sister. March 9th, 1984. You all remember that date,

don't you?

Monica: Yes, Luke go on.

Luke: Lesley's car didn't slide off a slick road, she was run off the

road by the Cassadines. Maybe Stefan saved Lesley for Laura. But, why

would he let her believe that Lesley was dead for almost thirteen years?

Stefan: I don't have to listen to your ridiculous fairy tales.

Alexis: Me, either.

Alexis and Stefan leave.

Luke: Bobbie?

Bobbie: Oh, please continue.

Rick: Bobbie, it's true, please, believe me.

Katherine: I think I've heard enough.

Katherine leaves.

Bobbie: I have to check on a patient.

Bobbie leaves.

Luke: Alan, Monica?

Alan: I believe you. I remember what the Cassadines did to my cousin

Alexandria.

Rick: Monica?

Monica: Rick, do you even have to ask? Lesley. (She hugs Lesley.) I'm

glad to see you.

Lesley: I'm glad to be around to be seen.

Tom: I guess this went better than expected.

Scene 7-Felicia, Taggert, Mac, and A.J. are in an office at GH.

Mac: Where were you the night Dorman was killed?

A.J.: At the docks.

Taggert: What were you doing there?

A.J.: Looking for my sister.

Felicia: Emily?

A.J.: Yes.

Taggert: The one brought in on a drug o/d.

A.J.: Yes.

Taggert: Hmmm... Dorman had smack.

Mac: You think she had something to do with it?

Taggert: No, but we have to check out all the possibilities.

Scene 8-Tony, Ned, and Lois visit Emily.

Ned: Tony how is she?

Tony: Good, I think we'll wait until tomorrow to release her.

Lois: It's probably a good thing before she has to face the rest of the

Qs all together.

Bobbie comes in.

Ned: Hello.

Emily: How come you came back?

Bobbie: To check on you and get away from the craziness outside.

Tony: What exactly is going on outside?

Bobbie: My brother's going through his usual Cassadine bashing, blaming

Stefan for Lesley Webber's condition.

Emily: Lesley Webber?

Ned: Laura's mother.

Bobbie: Yes, she's alive.

Emily: Lucky's grandmother's alive?

Scene 9-Scott finds Lucy at GH.

Lucy: Scott, what are you doing here?

Scott: Serena left her favorite doll at the lighthouse and desperately

needs it. I tried to call, but you weren't there.

Lucy: Ok, we'll go back real quick. But, I have to get back her before

Kevin's meeting is over.

Scene 10-Kevin, Stefan, and Alexis are in the library.

Kevin: I'd be working with Katherine?

Stefan: Does that pose a problem?

Kevin: No. I would relish the opportunity to work for you.

Stefan: Good.

Alexis: Now, let's discuss the contract.

Part 49

Scene 1-At midnight, Emily goes to the GH roof to meet Matt.

Emily: Did anyone see you?

Matt: No, I don't think so.

Emily: How are you?

Matt: Fine. What about you?

Emily: Ok.

Matt: I heard about it on TV.

Emily: Just great!

Matt: They said that four of your family are suspects in the doctor's

death.

Emily: Just what I need, I'm beginning to wish Nikolas and Lucky hadn't

saved me.

Matt: Got just the thing for that.

Matt pulls out a baggy.

Emily: A joint?

Matt: Yeah, with a little added boost.

Emily: What?

Matt: H.

Emily: Sounds just like what I need.

Scene 2-Nikolas is sitting in a waiting area, Gina sees him.

Gina: What are you still doing here?

Nikolas: I can't go home.

Gina: Because of what your family did?

Nikolas: Yes.

Gina: Hmm... Why don't we go visit Emily?

Nikolas: Sure. (They go to her room, they find Lucky there, but no Em.)

Spencer!

Lucky: I'm worried.

Scene 3-Matt and Emily are on the roof. They are looking down, they are

high.

Emily: Wow! It's like the whole world is spinning.

Matt: Yeah. (He starts laughing uncontrollably. He stands up and walks

on the ledge.) Look at the cars, they're like fast moving ants.

Scene 4-Luke and Laura are leaving GH.

Laura: Now everyone knows.

Luke: Yeah.

Laura: It's a beautiful night, you can see all the way across the city.

Luke: You can also see that kid on top of the roof.

Laura: What?

Scene 5-Luke and Laura run in to the nurses station.

Laura: Amy.

Amy: Yes.

Laura: You better call security.

Amy picks up the phone.

Scene 6-Nikolas, Gina, and Lucky see security run up to the roof and

follow. They make it there. Matt and Emily are on the ledge.

Emily: Wow! This is incredible!

Lucky: Emily!

Emily teeters on the ledge.

Security: Get down from there.

Matt: Hey Spencer.

Matt turns real fast, falling.

Lucky: Matt!

Emily: (Frantic.) Matt! Matt, where are you?

Nikolas and Lucky go up to the ledge and offer their hands.

Lucky: Emily, take my hand.

Nikolas: Come on Emily, take our hands.

Emily: Nikolas, can you see it? The world's spinning, it's incredible.

Emily laughs and puts her right foot on the edge of the ledge.

Scene 7-Lesley, Rick, Alan and Monica are cafeteria.

Lesley: The coffee here is still awful.

Rick: Not any worse than yours'.

Alan: What happened to Ricky and Ginny?

Rick: They were killed in a car wreck. Ricky was a drug addict, nothing

I did could help him. One day, Ricky was driving the family car, and

Ginny was in there with him, he was high. He took off and ran right into

a (Tears up.) brick wall.

Monica: I'm sorry.

Alan: That's why you wanted to talk to Emily?

Rick: (Clearing his throat.) Yes.

Audrey comes in.

Audrey: Alan, Monica, security called. Emily's on the roof.

Scene 8-On the roof, Nikolas and Lucky are trying to get Emily down.

Alan and Monica run up.

Monica: Emily!

Emily: Here goes nothing! (Steps forward. Lucky and Nikolas grab her.

They lift her as she screams and kicks.) No, just let me fall.

Scene 9-A.J.'s walking into GH, he notices all of the police cars

surrounding.

A.J.: Mac, what's going on?

Mac: Your sister's up on the roof. We're afraid she's going to jump,

like her friend.

A.J. looks up and sees Emily dangling.

Scene 10-On the roof, Nikolas and Lucky try to pull Emily up.

Lucky: Emily, I can't let you go.

Nikolas: Come on Spencer, let's get her up.

Nikolas and Lucky finally get her back on the roof.

Emily: (To Lucky.) Why didn't you let me go?

Lucky: Because... Because I love you...

Emily: I just... I just... Wanted to d...

Emily cries, Lucky hugs her. Gina goes to Nikolas and hugs him. A.J.

comes up to his mom and dad holding each other. A.J. watches Emily and

Lucky embrace.

Emily: Lucky, I have a problem.

Lucky: I know. Em, I'll be right beside you through everything. I

promise you that.
